I met Ryan over the weekend at the Total Health Fair and today I had my first reiki session with him. Powerful would be an underestimation to describe the experience. More than half of the time I could feel the energy vibrating right out of his palms. I've received a fair bit of reiki in my lifetime and never before have I physically felt the energy vibrations. At times I actually felt nauseous from the energy being released from my body, after that I felt as if I had completely left my body altogether and it was difficult to even attempt to move a finger. It was a session to remember, that's for sure. The music being played was very soothing, the sheets soft and comforting, and he even gave me a little gift before I left :) I can hardly wait for my next two sessions!

My husband and I did our Reiki training with Ryan and it was a fabulous experience! The material was comprehensive and Ryan creates an extremely comfortable atmosphere in which we both could ask tonnes of questions. The best part, however, was the hands on (no pun intended) experience when Ryan took each of us through two Reiki sessions on the other - first sort of a mock session during which there was a lot of communication and question answering, and then secondly in a session during which we let our intuition guide us. And I highly recommend taking the training with a partner if you have the opportunity - it was fun to share that with my husband.

After injuring my back and neck I was in need of treatment from an experienced and trained professional. I had called around to different practices for massage but could not get in anywhere for over 3 weeks. Ryan got me in the next day for a 1 hour massage, he minimized my pain and inflammation, and improved my mobility beyond my expectations. Highly skilled and very professional, I went to Peach City Massage for a Worker's Compensation Board injury. Ryan was charging a discounted rate for two people so my girlfriend booked for both of us (at separate times) but I was covered by WCB for a slip & fall injury. The massage was so relaxing and therapeutic that I fell asleep during the massage, and was awakened gently! 1st experience : It lasted about 20 minutes. I had never experienced something like this before so I was very curious to see what it would feel like. I was closing my eyes so I couldn't see where Ryan was going around me, but when he was around my head, I could tell almost instantly. I felt a big and very intense flow, like pressure around my brain. It was not a nice feeling as it was almost painful, but overall unusual. Then, as soon as he went around the rest of my body, I didn't feel that anything was happening really, it was just relaxing. 2nd experience : It lasted about 1 hour. I relaxed quite quickly, and Ryan started around my head again. Again I could feel a big pressure inside, different from the first time as not as strong, but as he lasted for a while, it was almost becoming painful again, but this feeling left instantly as he removed his hands. I felt particularly relaxed during this session as I fell asleep probably just after he left my head. I can't tell what I felt on the rest of my body because I was in a deep sleep and he had to wake me up at the end of the session. 3rd experience : about 50 min. I tried to stay focused on what I feel and not to fall asleep so I could describe it more precisely. It was completely different this time when he was around my head, I could still feel the flow, but it was much smoother, not painful at all, I could feel like energy flows going out through my ears and my forehead, it is hard to describe, but this time it wasn't a pressure. As for the rest of my body, I could feel a big warmth coming from his hands as he was holding my elbows, knees, feet and shoulders one by one. It was a nice and relaxing feeling. And so at the end of the session, I had a weird feeling when I had to move my fingers, my knees or my toes, it felt like they had been asleep for a long time and so I could feel almost every muscle waking up. It was a very interesting experience !

The massage I received from Ryan was one of the worst ones I have every experienced! I requested a deep tissue massage and was assured that he knew how to do one......NOT. After I found out he started practising as a massage 'specialist', ---not a massage therapist---, only a year ago it explained why he did not know how to really give a 'deep tissue massage. So if you have had a REAL deep tissue massage previously....do not waste your time and money going to see Ryan. You will be disappointed to say the least.!!
