The worst experience I’ve ever had. If I wanted a 12 year old to do my nails I would have asked my daughter. Pedicure was overpriced and when they got busy they got a very young man couldn’t be more than 14 to finish my polish and it was awful I’m not about to scold a 12 year old who shouldn’t be doing this in the first place!!! Extremely unprofessional would not recommend this place ever thanks for running the start of my vacation

I wish I would have read these reviews before I went to this place. Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. My nails are laughable! I could have done a better job on my nails and I paid $40 for them. I got shellac, 3 different colours and one was supposed to be the marble look. The lady who apparently was the only one that day that could do that design had the audacity to say my nail was not long enough for the design when I complained about it not looking good. Why wasn't I told this before hand??Additionally, they do not have their prices anywhere which means they can charge whatever they feel like. The girl who was assigned to do my nails couldn't even tell me when I asked her the price. Never coming back to this place!

Absolutely love this place! I live in PEI and come back to this salon anytime I'm in Ontario for a visit. After the second time being there for a gel fill, they recognized me and welcomed me back. They are very warm and make you feel at home. The owner is so entertaining and positive, she makes you feel better just being around her. I've had pedis and gel nails there and I've loved the services received. Not to mention the whole place is spotless and very well decorated. They also do wedding parties and close down the place just for the girls I believe. 10/10 recommend.

Love getting my nails done here. I get bio gel every time and my nails can last over a month if I am unable to make it in. The staff make me feel wonderful anytime I have visited and the massage pedicure chairs are actually very good quality I have almost dozed off a few times. My favourite thing about this salon is they will do any nail design you want.

Amazing staff and environment! My nails were checked multiple times to make sure the length and shape was perfect. The design is done perfectly, it matched the inspiration photo exactly if not better. I definitely recommend the salon and will be returning to get my nails done again!

This is not my usual nail place, and I will not be returning. I'm going away for the weekend and needed a fill. I've had a hell of a week so I treated myself to a pedicure and acrylic fill. My pedicure went perfectly fine, but my nails on the other hand look horrible. I wanted - square white ombré and my ring finger to have some gems on it around the cuticle. They're round, the polish is on in chunks at the tip, the nails are all filled at different levels and my one hand she did something to and it's rock hard and looks infected. Not to mention most of my time there was sitting waiting for someone to come and service me.

Terrible job, very rushed, and surprised me with extra surprise charges at the end. Were incredibly rushed to get my money from me and get me out. Didn't wait for coats to dry between painting so polish smeared hours later. Also got top coat polish all over my toe and didn't do anything about it? I had to peel top coat off my skin later. Sloppy af. I had two toes with gel polish from my previous pedicure (did it at home at the time with my own gel lamp & set), and they removed it improperly, using a grinder (without softening whatsoever with acetone, which is very bad for the nails). Charged me extra for this without saying anything about the extra charge before the end of my visit (only found out about the charge when I was paying). Grinder also didn't appear to have been sanitized between customers...

Went in for a shellac colour change -- was in my seat for 15min. Paint in my cuticles, didn't even bother shaping my nails etc. Horrible experience, will never go back! They also charged me an additional 5 dollars to remove the old polish but yet you can still see the old polish through the shellac. I could of done a better job myself.

Took my girlfriend to this spa and wow what wonderful treatment. All the staff was so welcoming and they really took their time to assure the job was done properly. The price was reasonable and my girlfriend was so happy with the pedi, biogel, and the eye lash extensions. I would definitely recommend this spa if you really want to make your girlfriends feel special and loved.

Went here earlier this year, end of May/early June, and ugh! I will never go back. All I wanted was a simple French manicure and it felt to me like the woman told(yes, she had to be told) to do it, clearly didn't think it was worth her time. She rushed through it, clipped my cuticles so far back that I bled in one place and was left with throbbing, angry nail beds on all fingers :( I had no idea what to say or think... I don't get my nails done at places, like ever, so this was supposed to be a kind of treat for a wedding I was attending the next day. I do a better job myself...and I'm horribly uncoordinated with my left hand, but I'll stick to manicuring my own nails rather than shelling out good money for pain and tears(of frustration, not from pain).

This place is okay if you get the owner or one other young lady, but the teen girl and boy do a truly awful job. I went here twice with my girlfriend and we were happy the first time. But our more recent experience was truly awful. Mine was done by a teenage girl who did not put in any care or effort and my girlfriend had an older man and a young man who switched. We both paid for a package that included a longer massage which was half of what was advertised. My girlfriend ended up bleeding and her colour was put on while her feet were wet and oily, which didn’t matter anyways because the colour was applied sloppy, she came home and took it off. This place cost a fortune and the service was the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve never felt more cheated in my life. We won’t be going back and would recommend avoiding it.

Horrible experience, twice already. The first time I went there, about a month ago, they were clearly short staffed and would leave you waiting to go and deal with another customer, rather than having the customer wait their turn. They're unorganized, clearly hungry for money and rush through their services. I went there today with a friend for a pedicure and shellac manicure, thinking I'll give them another chance considering they were "shortstaffed" that day. Well, we were literally the first ones there and even though there were two women working there (and one man who helps out with miscellaneous things),only one of them was working on both my friend and I and it was super rushed. The other ended up working on a woman who came in FIVE minutes after us but claimed she had JUST called them for an appointment. Yeah, right. We were rushed and when another two women came in half an hour after us, one of them was served yet again before me. Why is that?? In a nutshell, complained to them about the service in a quiet, calm tone as to not attract attention but the main woman there (manager?), started to get upset and was raising her voice. Suffice it to say, I gave no tip. Furthermore, they had two kids at the back of the store who were making a very loud raucous/noise. This place is the epitome of unprofessionalism and I highly recommend that you avoid this place at all cost, especially on weekends. I'm in shock it has a 4.5 star rating....

I have been going to this nail salon for about a year and it's hit or miss on the kind of service I get. My visit on Saturday though was my last visit. I got shellac and it chipped the same day. It's Thursday now and I have 5 naked nails with the edges of my other nails starting to loosen. I'm not paying $30+ for something that can't even make it through a weekend.

This is my favourite nail place! I have been coming here for the past year to get my nails done and every time they turn out fantastic. I have also had pedicures done here and all the staff are great, super friendly and pay lots of attention to detail. The shop ambiance is pleasant and cute, in addition to always being very clean well kept. I always recommend this place to my friends, definitely one of the best nail places !

Came in for a fill, tried to get over charged. Got screamed at for asking why she’s taking off my nails and then telling me a full set is $70 after she took them off. Hour of my time was wasted and I left with no nails Go anywhere but here...save your time and go to an honest establishment who won’t scream in your face and will do what you came in to get done. Owner saw an opportunity to over charge and tried to do it. Also the notice that the only good reviews of this place are friends of the owner and probably not accurate

Been at a lot of salons and this is the best one in Durham. Amazing quality work for all the services. Huge collection in Shellac Colours, designs, styles, trends... There are different Pedi and Mani packages to pick from( extra food massage and hand massage if you pick the Spa ones- they are worth every penny ). The staff is always so welcoming and creative. Got my nails done there today. I am in love! I called ahead (about 2 hours) for an appointment and had to wait a bit but it was okay. The girl took her time with my nails and was very nice. They look fabulous and the quality is very good. Also the price was perfect, they didn’t charge extra for anything! Overall- nice environment, nice staff, great quality, and amazing price! Initially was thinking they’d provide good service by because they are welcoming at the door. However They have absolute horrible service. Was charged extra $5 to shape my nails .. they said only round and square is provided in the fee - any other shape will be charged. Broke a nail and was charged $5 to fix which was not even a proper method (they simply used this little glue tube and let it be guaranteeing it would stay fixed. ) of course it didn’t so I called and told them not 24 hours later my nail was still cracked and they said they never charged to fix it because I “didn’t reposed when asked”. SO disappointed with the service.

Used to love going to this place, their workmanship was amazing! But recently their professionalism has gone down. It has been witnessed comments were made about some clients being "rich" and therefore are able to afford services they're not interested in. It was even witnessed that they suggested to a different customer to bring that "rich" client back in and have them pay since they can afford it. SO RUDE. They are constantly trying to up sale Ive even witnessed them trying to up sale to a CHILD, very inappropriate!!! Their prices are NEVER the same as to whats posted at the front nor what they have told you in person they are completely arbitrary. They are SEVERELY over priced for what they offer and also have a difficult time clearly explaining what the cost actually is.

Very disappointed with my pedicure. The technician didn’t ask about length before trimming, therefore cutting my right big toe lower than I prefer. After I spoke up, she didn’t cut the left big toe at all making it uneven. I had to ask her to go back and trim it before she polished. During the foot filing she was spun around in her chair, with my foot in her hand, watching Britain’s Got Talent, so of course there are patches on my heels that are still dry and should have been scraped. Uneven polish and mystery charges. I won’t ever be back and would never recommend.

Terrible service. Zero star! Went in at 720pm and asked if it was ok to get my toe nails just painted. The "manager" said it was fine after I said, it was ok if they were closing. After waiting 20 mins I sat in the chair and she said, "it will be 15$ for you". I asked why and she said it's more to take off... regular nail polish. I accepted it and after already waiting I just sucked it up (even tho for 5$ more you can get shellac elsewhere). After getting them painted I relooked at the sign and it said "polish change 12$" so I told the manager "you should really change the sign if your going to charge people 15$ for a polish change". She replied, "well I have to pay my employees time and half because you come at close and I told you before you started"..... I already accepted the fact that I had to pay 15$ (where everywhere else is 10$)... but did she really have to make up lies about why she was ripping me off... as I was leaving someone came in for a wax.. so I said, " are you gonna charge them more?" And she said, "if I do I will let them know ahead of time, like I did you"... but she really didn't, I waited 20 mins for her to tell me once I got in the chair and my friend was already getting her nails done. Moral of it all... don't trust your money at this place, they make up there own prices. I will never go back. I also did not make a huge problem I was just inquiring and she got very defensive. Not recommended!!!!

Today I made my first and last visit to this place. My nails were done by a teenage boy. I understand if you are busy and need someone to take off polish however I did not feel comfortable with a teenager doing my nails. At least ask me first but if I agree don’t charge me full price. At least it wasn't crowded. I came for a pedicure and was handed a book to upsell the type of pedicure, I declined. She didn't add anything to the water and I had to ask her to turn on the bubbles in the water. She barely exfoliated my feet. All done in less than 1/2 hour. That sucks considering it cost more than my usual place. Find another salon.

Unprofessional staff who do the least amount of work possible! I will never step foot into this establishment again. The owner (or manager) by the name of Jen is ignorant and talks down to customers. I went to get a full set, and three different people worked on my nails. Her son, (who is a 13 or 14 year old boy) removed my old nails, the owner did the acrylic part, and her teenage daughter applied the shellac. My nails came out thick and chunky looking. Both the owner and her daughter had no patience and were rude. The son didn’t say two words. This place is completely unprofessional. If I wanted a teenage boy to do my nails, I would’ve had my son do them! The owner talked down to me in a condescending way more than once, and treated me like I was a nuisance. She told me I was taking too long to make decisions and to hurry up because she had other customers coming in. This place is all about making money, and not pleasing the customer....I really could go on and on! Way overpriced, and she will charge you whatever she feels like that day. And every little thing you want to do is an additional charge....an additional $5 for coffin shaped nails??? I have never heard of that before. I’ve spoken with friends that were charged different amounts than me. Oh ya, and if you want to pay by credit card it’s a $4 charge. What kind of bull is that? Stay away!! Go to an establishment that will treat you like a valued customer, not a walking dollar sign!!! Never again.

Not even paying attention to what he was doing... my son can give me a better foot massage.. no heated towel... no lotion ... added cold water to my basin. He was lightly scrubbing my feet and staring off into space. I won’t be coming back here again. By far the worst pedicure I have ever received.

I was very disappointed with my experience today. I had a pedicure and they didn’t even begin to deliver the services advertised. They’re nice enough but I felt like I was doing them a favour. Not the experience I was looking for. Sadly, I brought my granddaughter in for her first manicure. She felt like they were rushing so they could do someone else’s nails. It was meant to be special. I am really disappointed. I have been here before and it was much better. I don’t treat myself very often. I left angry and bitter and determined to find a different establishment that cares about its customers.
