I have been going to Posh monthly for about 2 years getting shellac, acrylic sets, manicures or pedicures. Always happy with the results. On the very rare occasion a minor correction was needed (a gem fell off, polish chipped prematurely) the owner and staff always made fixes a priority. The shop is bright and clean, staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are about the same as I had paid at other nearby salons that offered lesser quality, and a less clean environment. You do need an appointment so book ahead.

I will not go anywhere else! The staff here are amazing and really easy to talk to and understand. They talk to you and not each other and the quality of work is always top notch. April is an amazing esthetician and there is no one else I will allow to touch my eyebrows!

Amendment: I went back in and the owner fixed the damaged snowflake stickers and added another topcoat. They look much better now. Thank you for the good customer service. First time there. Great job on my bio gel. Pretty good shaping. Polish is "okay" but she was honest and said she wasn't artistic enough to do any designs. We used cute stickers instead. I asked if it needed another coat of shellac over the stickers, she said "no". I've been home 10 mins and one sticker is already lifting. Also, 2 fingers are different. Not sure how that happened. Also, paying cash doesn't help the price.

The staff are incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The salon is clean, many regular and gel polishes, and very meticulous. I have never been disappointed. If I mess up a nail they are more than happy to fix it immediately or even days later. Booking is super easy, they answer your messages promptly, and always have something available to suit your needs, be after work, weekends, or with kids. I'm incredibly happy I was referred to this place, as I will never go anywhere else again!

Excellent salon and spa! I've been here 4 times now and all of the techs I've been served by have been so friendly and talented, you never feel rushed and the nails certainly never look rushed! Highly recommended, and to anyone who has an issue with their price points: you're paying for experienced, educated technicians in a well kept hygienic establishment who do high quality work CORRECTLY for only a very slight price difference to other salons in Oshawa who will barely give you, or your nails, the time of day. I assure you, if you choose a Posh nail tech for your next appointment you won't be disappointed!

Terrible. I booked a mani-pedi. Took the girl exactly 1 hour to get this much of my shellac off one hand. Ruined my gel underneath also as you can see. Said she had to soak it off with acetone because she had never used a dremmel before and that it wouldn't hurt the gel (???) Never even got to the pedi. They told me to come back Thursday morning to fix what they did as that was all they had open. I told her I couldn't walk around with nails like this for the next 2 days. Very bad form. ***In Response: I appreciate the call and the offer for the future. I have to say that it was pink coloured bio-gel that I had on. Not fair to blame another salon for incompetence. Had one of the other 5 girls taken a few minutes to help the poor girl that didn't have any experience with gel nails, the outcome could have been much better.

Amazing service! I had a Shellac Manicure (plus one acrylic nail for a broken nail) done by Bailey. She did a perfect job, exactly what I wanted. The salon was very clean and welcoming. I called for a last minute appointment and as able to get in within the hour. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The ladies that work out of this nail bar are super nice and friendly which makes getting your nails done there so much fun. However, the prices are way to high and not worth the quality you get. My nails for my wedding were crooked and the lengths of the nails were not the same (uneven) - also the white French tip was basically see threw and not like any French manicures I’ve had before. Even though the staff are great I probably won’t be back due to the pricing and quality.

I was unfortunately really disappointed with my experience here. I had come based on google reviews for a mani/pedi for my wedding and spent quite a bit of money on the appointment. It took nearly 3.5 hours - but the acrylics were done very thick and the shape was off. And I had asked for a ombré French and ended up with just uneven Pink. The woman that provided the service was lovely and it had taken so long to complete they were closing and I just didn’t know what to say at the time - I felt so bad that I was so unhappy. But I was so upset after leaving. I was just relieved that the pink was neutral enough that it wouldn’t ruin photos because I just didn’t have any time before the wedding to get them redone. Within a week I had to take them off because every single nail was lifting and my hair was getting caught under the cuticles when I showered. When I went to another nail salon to just have them taken off - they were shocked by the thickness and the quality of the work for what I paid. I really hate to leave a bad review like this, but it’s just unfortunately the experience I had...

The nail tech that I had was very pleasant, made my experience great however the polish was uneven, had a hair in it, I didn't get my design in the right colour (which was a temp tattoo even though I wanted a stamp or hand painted, it was also crooked and bubbled.) All of that could have easily been over looked if I didn't pay $40 for shellac that peeled off in 3 days. I went to another salon for a mani pedi payed the same amount for bother services and it lasted 3 times as long.

Love this place, girls are all really sweet and it's nice not to have your nail tech purposely speaking in another language to their coworkers as opposed to being engaged with their client. It's a little bit pricey for the usual nail place however the experience is MUCH better.

I am never dissapointed when I come Posh Nail Bar and Spa. I am always so nicely greeted by someone although they may be busy with a client. My most recent visit gave me the opportunity to meet Savannah (I am sorry if I misspelled it) she was simply lovely and adorable, the tone of her voice was very inviting and friendly. I explained to her that due to some physical reactions id rather skip a certain step in the pedicure. She was understanding and empathetic, when it came to certain areas on my feet she would make sure to check with me before proceeding. I loved that and thank you. Overall our conversations were pleasant and insightful. Thank you so much for an exceptional experience Savannah. Posh is very lucky to have you as part of their team.

The ladies are all so lovely and talented! A very VERY clean place, even offer you to keep your file and buffer at the end. You get what you pay for, quality technicians and a fantastic result Edit: after a few returns, my nails ended up peeling away from the acrylic and were VERY crooked and wonky, also very thin and easily breakable. I would still recommend as a clean place to go and recieve friendly service, but only if ya got the money

The lady who did my nails was super nice and friendly but when I asked for a certain design(ombre look) She told me that she couldn't do it and unfortunately the lady who could wasn't in. That was disappointing. I went ahead for her simple look but for the price I paid and the quality of the mani pedi I got isn't worth it. My nail polish lifted and started cracking after 2 days. I couldn't go back because I had left for my vacation. Thumbs up for their hygiene and single use tools.

The place was nice, everyone spoke English. But way over priced. This was my first time getting my nails done so I wasn't sure what to expect. Got a pair of acrylics done with normal nail polish and after tip it came to $55. The lady was rushing and filing my nails so fast that it kind of burned and ended up cutting my pinky with the nail file. I asked her to shape them in an almond shape and some came out kind of wonky. If you have a place you already go to and like, I wouldn't change for this one. Unless you want to spend more.

Great nail salon. Always prebook though so you're not disappointed, 2 walk-ins came while we were there on Thursday and were turned away because they were fully booked. Spa mani/pedi was nice and the shellac was done well. Lots of different options for nail art (kind of pricy, but cool option).

Unfortunately did not have a great experience. I was really looking forward to my pedicure and manicure but it took almost 2.5 hours to do both which is way too long. I'm patient but I was starting to get antsy. And my manicure is not good. For the amount of money paid it should definitely be a lot better. The shellac colour is bubbling on my nail, polish on my skin/cuticles, jagged shaping of nails, and just overall poorly painted. I wish I would have realized before I left but I was in such a rush to get to work because the appointment took so long. Pedicure polish is sloppy as well. I'm just so disappointed.

My experience was good but not great. I came in for an acrylic fill with three nails missing. I understand that it is extra work to build three new nails, but I was not expecting to pay over $60 for a fill with no nail art or anything. I also have fairly long nails, and I found that the shape (coffin) wasn't quite consistent on every finger. I understand that longer nails are harder to work on. I've seen photos on their instagram of really beautiful work on shorter nails though!

Had the most amazing service today. Went in to fix a botched acrylic nail set, that I had applied the day before at a different salon. Bailey was my technician, and she was fantastic. She took her time and completely turned around the look of my nails and left me feeling very happy. I had called the same day to ask if this was possible, and the salon was very accommodating and fit me in. All of the girls were so friendly and it was a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The woman running this business has been ratting out her competitors online to durham region health department. People who are just trying to give outdoor haircuts during covid, even after it has now been allowed. Terrible practice ratting out your neighbour's to try to promote your own. Disgusting childish behavior.

I decided to go to this place for the first time to get paraffin on my hands. When I called to make an appointment at 11am I specifically asked the girl on the phone, if they would take me right away at my appointment time or I had to wait because I had another appointment at 12pm, she said yeah she would take me right away.I arrived 15min before my appointment, people who had appointments at 11 was served right away. I waited till 11:15 and ask the receptionist, how long would it take? She said I don’t know, the girl is falling behind schedule. I told I have to go because i had another appointment, she said ok. I didn’t mind waiting if they have told me on the phone so I would have make the appointment earlier. It was the worst customer service I have received.

My daughter and I went in on Aug 30th for manicures. The young lady who completed my daughter's was honest and said she had never done a French manicure before. My daughter told her to go for it as it was the only way she would get better. She did a fantastic job and was so happy that Leah was easy going about it! Mine turned out great as well however a few days later the polish (shelac) wore off in quite a few areas. I called in and they rebooked me without hesitation and the new polish looks great! Thanks for the great customer service! We will be back

Wanted to love it. Sadly my shellac was chipping after 4 days and it is definitely over priced. The price of just the shellac (no manicure) is only three dollars cheaper then a manicure! ???? wasn’t overly impressed with the whole experience. Had a pedicure as well and they don’t have the foot stool to hold your foot up, which is uncomfortable. I won’t be back due to price and lack of quality.

I decided to visit Posh Nail Bar for the first time to get a manicure and pedicure with shellac before going on a trip. I saw many great reviews and thought I'd give it a try. My appointment was the saturday of labour day weekend and walking in, the place was lovely and the lady who did my nails was wonderful so I had high expectations. However, after getting home with my freshly painted nails, I noticed that you could see through the nail polish layer on several fingers. I didn't think much of it and continued on with my day, getting things ready for my trip. That night I noticed that the polish on the tip of my index finger had started to flake off. This was very upsetting because 1. These were shellac nails and I would have expected them to last longer than a few hours and 2. The shop was closed the next day (sunday) and monday for labour day and I was leaving for my trip on the tuesday so there was no time to go in and get them fixed. Since then, only more nails have started to chip and I am extremely dissatisfied especially since the services totalled $80+. I would greatly appreciate it is someone from the salon would be able to contact me

Had my first time in there. Very nice girls, nails look nice, clean place. However $53.50 is ridiculous for an infill. I didn’t even have any design on the nails. The nails are good yes but definitely not worth that, and for that reason I won’t be returning. I get that people have to make a business etc but atleast be realistic with competitive prices.
