Very upset with the professionalism of this place. I called to make an appointment for a pedicure and the quality is okay for the price. However, due to the pandemic they don’t allow people to stay until their nails dry, which is fine BUT they did not tell me this when making my appointment nor did they choose to share this information before starting my nails. So I had to sit outside before I can put my shoes on to walk home!! Very unprofessional, they should make it clear to clients PRIOR to doing their nails that they would be unable to stay so the client can decide if they want to continue with the service or not. I would have NOT because I wasn’t prepared.

I've been coming to see Mary for over a year now. So this is an overdue review!!!! She's the new owner and ever since I went to her I can never ever go anywhere else. I feel great everytime I leave there. My nails last long and I feel refreshed!!!!!! All her staff are amazing and friendly!!!! The only place in oshawa I'll ever go to. I've recommended this place to many of my friends and family and they all love it and have been regular customers. I love my chrome nails and no one can do them like Mary!!! I went to this place to get my eyebrows waxed after my friend recommending that she's always happy with her manicures there and my eyebrow place shut down. When I walked into the back room not only was the lighting very dim, but the young woman working made me feel like she was rushing. I laid down and she waxed once under and over each eyebrow and once in between. It was done in 30 seconds. No trimming, No plucking, no shaping. When completed she was ushering me out of the room and I had to ask for a mirror to look at the finished result. I tried looking and couldn't see much due to the lighting. I paid, didn't tip. When I got back in my car I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows were uneven, there were missed hairs everywhere, and there was hard wax left on my face in more than one spot. I was so disappointed and upset and now have to completely redo them. I honestly don't think the woman doing my eyebrows is even qualified and if she is she needs to put more effort into caring about what she does for her customers. Never going again and wouldn't recommend.

On several occasions, I've visited Perfectly Polished Nails & Spa with a variety of nail related dilemmas, they have never fallen short of creating a positive resolution to my high expectations. The staff are up to date with the latest nail trends, colours, and techniques. They are always willing to accommodate each costumer, to his/her unique situation. Cleanliness is always a top priority at Perfectly Polished Nails and Spa. Most importantly in my opinion, I would like to speak on how genuine and good hearted each and every member of staff are at this local establishment. They put forth the effort and time to get to know their customers, and go above and beyond to assure that their services provide a sense of happiness to everyone who visits. I've never felt more welcome and satisfied with any other nail salon, than I do at Perfectly Polished Nails & Spa.

Got there and asked what the price was for nail tips and was told the price and add 5 dollars due to covid. I was shocked but thought ok give a try. Its been 6 years since I had my nails done. I wanted french nails and I thought it was nice till I left and noticed that one nail is not pressed down enough that it looks like its sticking up and a few othere are looking a bit bend or off center. Plus the burrs made my nails like razors so I had to fix that myself when I got home. The girls and the guy seem nice enough. I did not like that the tools they used were not sterilized and they looked like they beed used on others. I will not go back. Manger replied and thank you for doing so. Sorry I will not be able to get back for two weeks as I work full time and the time I will have off I have other obligations. And by that time I will have cut them down and reshaped them. As for the sterilization of your tools, I sure did not see anything come out of plastics but instead out of a drawer. Why would adding $5 help with cost? What cost did you incure due to covid? I called other shops they are not charging more. Sorry but I stand by my first review and my friend and I will not be back.

Today my 2 nieces and I went to get mani and pedi tWe chose our colours and sat with our feet in the water. There chairs are very uncomfortable . Now I know why you get a pillow. The 3 ladies we had rushed us through the process and we not very friendly. The owner of he place was on her phone several times which I feel is rude. The one lady who doesn't understand English was using the electric nail file and was pressing too hard and it felt like it was burning my nails. When I told her to stop she didn't understand. Another lady had to explain to her what to do next. Overall we felt rushed and not really pampered. Will not recommend this place.

I've had my nails done other places in Oshawa but this time was different! I went on Saturday Jan 25. And they really took their time to make sure my nails were perfect. I was referred by a friend and I will not be going anywhere else unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. Mary and Sam were so sweet. I would suggest going early and calling ahead to book an appointment as appointments take priority over walk-ins.

My sisters and I came today for our first time. We received mani/pedi’s plus an eyebrow wax. The salon environment is friendly, clean, and professional. Alice took care of me today and she was lovely. She was gentle and took her time to clean and perfect her work. She was easy going and made for a welcoming visit. I brought a picture for my mani reference and she nailed it! We’re all satisfied with today’s visit and will be coming back soon. Thank you all ????

I started going to Hannah in January, she did nothing but talk on her phone both times I was there. She comes across as a very happy store owner but her quality in work was just the worst I’ve seen. I’d choose the nail salon at midtown mall over perfectly polished. she grinded my real nails so thin that they started breaking she made them very uneven. The polish and bio gel is very cheap she doesn’t cut your nails to the same length or even shape them properly.

Great place to go to feel pampered. They are honest with walk in on how long the wait will be and when you make an appointment they ensure they are ready for you when you walk in the door. Never feel rushed and treated to more than just the standard manicure and pedicure. They add luxuries such as massage and hot towel. Very clean and professional location with prices lower than the value you receive. I highly this business.

I paid over $60 for a mani, pedi with shelack. It lasted FIVE days. When went back and asked that it be fixed, there was a communication problem and she took off everything then offered to charge me 1/2 to do it again. VERY disappointed

The place was clean but there service not the greatest. The lady who did my nails spent most of the time watching tv/checking her phone while doing my nails. No wonder I didn't get what I asked for. They did my grandaughters nails for 17.50 and the polish was chipping off 2hours after getting it done. Would never go back to this shop again!

Worst experience ever. I decided to try this salon because my regular salon place had closed and I couldn't wait until the next day. At first it looked clean and they were nice. I chose my color and she started with the acrylic manicure. black dots showed up all over my nails, she said someone had put something in the nail Polish. She suggested to cover it up, instead of taking it off and applying a new clean nail polish on. she put like 4 more coats of a different color on top to cover the black dots. I asked her if it'll still show at the end, she said no. I let her continue and trusted her expertise. End result was that my nails were lumpy, not even, and I could still see the black dots. On top of that it took hours for the nails to dry from the amount of coats she put on. And she used a tiny dollar store looking fan to dry my nails too. When i complained to her, she started to argue with me. They have poor quality nail Polish and equipment. Waste of my time and money. I've always walked out of my regular salon happy with amazing looking nails. Never going back to this place again!
