So happy I stumbled upon this place. So many positive Google reviews said it all. Trish and her staff are so friendly, helpful and kind. The salon is beautiful and clean inside. Trish is the first person I've seen for my nails in a long time that really cares about doing a good job and making her client happy. You've definitely gained a long term client Trish. Very sad to say this was not a first experience I’m smiling about. I really dislike giving bad reviews but this was just awful. I will start with the positive - Super nice people & clean store… Perhaps it was the person who did my nails as he ignored me most of the time (everyone else was amazing who worked there) unfortunately $75 + 2.5 hours later this is what I left with. I’m super upset and didn’t want to make a scene in front of their other customers. Was so excited to finally get my nails done after so long and I wish I could rip them off right now. ???????? This place is relatively new but they definitely know what they are doing. Trish took her time with my nails and made sure they were perfect. Lots of shellac colours with matching regular polish. Having just moved to the area, I was happy to find a great place and will definitely be back. Great space, clean and they make you feel welcome right away. 100000% recommend.

So my experience was great! I got acrylics done by Trish and they are so nice! But my mother came in a few days later had kinda a nightmare visit, she got a manicure and pedicure, the guy doing it left mid way through to pick up his kid? And cut her nails uneven as well as used the dremel even though she was just getting regular polish. There was no pushing back her cuticles nor did he trim them. Then he painted it and there is mistakes all around her nails. Then the pedicure where she asked him to use the razor to shave the dead skin, he refused as well as never used the grater so her feet still have dead skin. Honestly I feel so bad for her because she just paid and left.

I'm so impressed with MT Nails. First of all, the salon is very clean and they have the best and biggest colour selection for both regular and shellac nail posh. As well as a large selection of glitter shapes, stickers, gems etc. I always feel welcomed there because Trish and her staff are friendly. I had a great first experience at MT Nails & Spa. I will definitely be going back! Staff was friendly and professional, salon was clean and all safety were measures in effect. They even remembered my name from my phone call earlier that day, which may seem like a small detail but it made the experience that much more personal. I also really loved the selection of colours they had, SO many on trend colours to choose from (neutrals, mauves, muted shades). I highly recommend MT Nails & Spas!

Trish is fabulous, very friendly and does a great job on nails. When you go in ask her about the nail polish shaker her husband built for her. One of the cleanest nail salons, has every colour, and was out quick. Already booked my next appointments for the remainder if the year.

Best nail place I have been too in years. I started getting my nails done 17yrs ago when I used to live in UK. The staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. They greet you by name when you arrive at the salon. This was our first time there, they gave us first class treatment. some salons when you are new they dont acknowledge you when you arrive, these guys are different. My daughter and I had a lovely time there and our nails were done well. One week later post our visit they are still good. Super glad my daughter found this place. I highly recommend. Thanks guys. Came in last Saturday to have my eyebrows done and they were $8. I booked my daughter a full acrylic set for her birthday for the following Monday. They confirmed it was $35. Now that she's got the nails on her hands they are trying to apply shellac so I simply asked if it was an added cost or if it was included. They replied included and her nails are $50. I am so incredibly disgusted with the mentality of people lately. No one is honest and they wait until half the job is done and you can't walk away to change their price. Clearly you see their pamphlet has $35 for a full set and $25 for a full. You will notice multiple price changes in pen on the flyer. They're not honouring their pamphlet from a week ago so I am forewarning anyone who is thinking of coming here for any service to prepay for their service or just go somewhere else. Although it's a pretty and clean salon their behaviour is disgusting and hence the 1 star..wish it could be a Zero

I have been coming here since they opened last year. The spa is bright and clean and Trish does an excellent job on my nails. Trish and her staff are friendly and kind and always ensure the customer is happy. I love that they have the shellac and regular versions of their huge selection of polishes so you never have to try and match. Will definitely keep going back!

I absolutely love this place. I came for a ‘mommy makover’ day and asked for gel nail repair/fill w/polish, as well as a pedicure w/polish, and an eyebrow wax and tinting. My experience was exceptional and the employees there are very friendly, courteous, respectful, honest, and meticulous with their work. They also inform you of the price of service immediately with no hidden agenda/fees! I highly recommend this business for anyone that is looking for amazing quality nails. They also have amazing polish colour selection!

Daisy was great my first visit I had a shellac manicure done and I'm very happy it's been two weeks now and none of my nails chipped! Went back last Tues to get waxing and toe nail polish change! Great place. I live so close and am happy that its somewhere I would return too. Had shellac removed and re-applied and they were conscious of removing it gently and did a great job and the new nails. *REVIEW UPDATE: Ive been back twice since my initial review. Once for a shellac polish change, which lasted longer than any other shellac I've had! The technicians know I'm trying to grow my nails out and she even did some extra layers on my tips to keep them stronger and it worked amazingly. Then I went in the other day for shellac. I work with my hands, so I do get broken nails just from the nature of my work. My nails were super uneven as some have grown nicely, especially with the extra shellac on the tips, but I still tore 3 nails due to work. One of the technicians suggested maybe getting tips to even them out, and she was so sweet. She asked if she could share her experience on tips with me before saying anything and I thought that was so thoughtful of her. I ended up getting tips and gel and they are literally the nicest set I've ever gotten. The technician really listened about needing a shorter length for work, and I asked for oval shape and they are perfect! At other places sometimes they file them crooked but not at MT nails! The polish is smooth and thin around the edges in that there's no crusty top coat showing or thick band where my nail ends and the polish begins, its just a smooth transition. The shape is great, there's no weak spot or dip near the tip of the nail. I want to add it was really cool watching her work with the gel, its obvious she is a master at her craft. I love this place so much!

This is a new nail salon in the neighbourhood and is a definite asset. I have been twice, pedicure once and manicure done on separate occasion. Trish the owner is amazing. Her eye for detail is outstanding. She takes great pride in her work. She is truly a professional and is very friendly. She makes it a truly relaxing experience. Her husband is just as friendly and very helpful. They both make your visit enjoyable and that you witare satisfiedh your appointment. It is definitely my new salon, Salon is very clean, massage chairs are amazing, they use replaceable bags in the foot baths, and relaxing music to complete the package. Selection of colours is extensive. If you want great nails, give them a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

I have been told by many of my own clients that I needed to check MT Nails out..... I have to say they did not disappoint!!!! The place is immaculately clean, the staff is super fun and friendly and I have to give a huge shout out to Jenny! Jenny was super attentive to detail, checked in frequently as to my comfort and did a phenomenal job on my mani/pedi. Thank you ladies, I'll most definitely be back!

This is by far the worst nail salon in Oshawa area. BEWARE and do not go there. I went there with my friend and to have a pamper day and we left from there with the worst most disgusting experience ever. First of all the place looks dirty and not clean by any means especially with all this covid19 going around. The service was poor to say the least and very unprofessional! They just want to rush you out and take the next person in! The quality of work is very cheap compared to the other places around!! The owners husband keeps coming in and out and seems like hes high on some drugs or something just pacing around and harassing customers !! The place just feels sketchy and in the time we were there i noticed two men at different times walk out of the back room not sure whats going on in the back room there with the girls. I will never recommend this place to anyone there are much better places in the area and CLEANER!

I have been going here since they opened, I used to drive all the way to Markham to get my nails done but then MT opened and I tried them out one day, I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in Trish and her husband were so friendly, they made me laugh and truly made it an enjoyable experience. I love that her husband tries to do everything on his own when it comes to fixing things up, or creating new tools for Trish to use like the automated nail polish shaker. There prices are fair, their establishment is clean, every time I go the first thing she asks me is how my husbands doing. I love how serious they take safety precautions due to COVID, and I refuse to go anywhere else. Just got my nails and toes done yesterday, this is by far my favorite set, look at that color and shape though!!! ugh so happy!!!

I went here for the first time last week with my boyfriend to get a pedicure. The man who did my pedicure took his time and did a great job. He also did a fantastic job on my shellac nails, and I was very satisfied with my eyebrow waxing. My only complaint is that immediately after my boyfriend was done his pedicure, before he could even stand up to put his shoes on, he was asked by one of the ladies to wait for me outside while I did my nails. MEANWHILE, there was a young man there accompanying his girlfriend who did not receive ANY services from them and he was NOT asked to wait outside for her. We were also the only 4 patrons in the salon at this time so there was really no excuse for this mistake. I explained to them that we did not drive, therefore there was no car for him to wait in so they let him wait for me inside, but the PRINCIPLE of the matter is they should have asked the other guy to wait outside seeing as he was NOT a paying customer. He sat and waited for his girlfriend the entire time UNBOTHERED. They were also not at their capacity yet and had no reason to ask my boyfriend to leave. I’m not sure if they realized how rude and offensive this came off but they should definitely be more mindful of their actions in the future and the impression they are making on their first time customers. I was paying very close attention and they did not ask the other man to wait outside at ANY GIVEN TIME. This made my boyfriend very uncomfortable especially as a BLACK MAN who often experiences unfair treatment. We travelled almost 2 hours to get there and I was NOT pleased with how this situation was handled. I decided not to address the lady at the time because I knew there was nothing she could say at that point to rectify the matter, the damage was already done. Had this not happened, I would have given them 5 stars. In response to the owners comment: Rather than being insincerely “sorry that I feel this way,” you should be apologizing for the unfair treatment that took place at your salon. You should never ask your paying customers to leave and wait outside, while others who are NOT receiving services get to sit and wait for hours without being bothered. IT MAKES NO SENSE!! I would expect a more sincere apology for your staffs offensive behaviour.

I went to MT Nails today for the first time and will definitely be going back! Min, Trish, and Nino were so kind and welcoming! They were meticulous with my nails and even fixed a few without me asking when they noticed some minor rippling in the polish. It was a relaxing environment with many shellac colours to choose from and employees who really love what they do!

Got my bio gel nails filled. Charged extra for the broken nails, but the nails they put on are a completely different shape than the other nails she didn't put on. She didn't fill my nails to the cuticle so they looked grown out immediately after I got them done. I showed her a picture of a simple ombre design, charged 10$ extra for ombre and they look NOTHING like the picture I showed her. Totally different colour, when she started painting I asked her to look at the picture again and she said she didn't need to. I told her I was unhappy with them and she basically said the way she was doing it is how it's done (she literally just added white to the tip of my nail and used a brush to dab it a few times) they look terrible. 5 days later and I have 2 nails broken off again, they were also super expensive. I don't recommend getting fake nails from here, sorry. Maybe it depends who you get but the girl I got, I wouldn't go back to.

*Update to my review on October 13, 2021. Trish called and sent a text to apologize for the pedicure with shellac that I received and me not being happy at all with the outcome. She was apologetic, courteous and understanding of the situation and wanted to rectify it. She asked if I could come back in to do another pedi with shellac and I was extremely grateful for the offer and went back in to give them another chance. Daisy did an amazing job and I am very happy with the outcome. She filed my nails exactly as I wanted them and took her time with applying the polish. I have never had a business reach out to me personally to apologize nor to offer a redo of a service and this says a lot about MT Nails and Spa as a business. I again am very happy and will be visiting them regularly for my pedicures.

I have been going to MT since it opened and they are the very best in the area. I have been getting my nails done for a long time and they always put effort and explore whatever style I want. They are welcoming and always ensure I have the best nails when I leave. Even if they make a mistake they will quickly fix it and not charge/make a fuss like other places do. The prices are also very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in the area. There are many pictures on their website that are my nails and I always love them!
