Came in twice in one day an hour apart and waited 5-10 min each time. There was only one person working so I can understand they were busy but they didn't acknowledge us either time in any way. A simple "be with you soon" or "could you come back in 10 min please" would have kept us but instead Sephora got our business.

As a customer you expect to have great service and understanding, but that is not always the case. In this case I was very pleased by the service that was given to me by Arlene one of the new managers at this location. I came into the store annoyed about my product and she recommended things to fix my product, as well as how to apply it properly. She was totally understanding and very kind to me. Everyone at this location is a great consultant. Good work!

I’ve been a customer to this place in the past when I got my brows tinted some time before the pandemic, and the service was fine and went well, but yesterday and today I was met with extremely bad customer service and open distaste/hostility for no reason. Yesterday I approached Visage in the mall hoping to ask about getting a lash tint and lift, and I could see that the one employee there was busy, but despite waiting patiently I was not even acknowledged, or offered anything like a decent greeting or even a simple “I’ll be with you in a moment!” I was given a dirty look, and she turned back to piercing some kids ears, openly ignoring me, and I left fuming. Today, I tried again thinking I’d have better luck with the two employees I saw there, one of which was on the phone while the other was helping a customer, but even after waving and saying hello while I walked over, I was literally glared at and ignored by both, and even though AGAIN I tried to wait patiently for the women at the service desk to finish her call and ask my questions, I was met with ignorance as she refused to acknowledge me at all. I’ll be taking this higher up, because this behaviour is appalling, and both times I did nothing to deserve this kind of hostility or poor service. I won’t be taking my business back here, and I’d suggest that nobody else does either.

I went into caryl baker in the O.C. My eyebrows were awful looking because the last person (a different eyebrow place) did my eyebrows horrible. They were thin. I had patches of my eyebrows missing on one side plus two months of growth. I was looking rough to say the least. So I figured I would give caryl baker a try. I'm beyond thrilled that I did! I told the girl at the desk my issues and paranoid about my eyebrows and she booked me with Tara. Let me tell you Tara is so amazing at her job! She listened to everything I said and evened out my eyebrows. They look thick and shaped wonderfully! I will always go to her for all my waxing needs. She's the best!

When it comes to having your eye brows microbladed, I highly recommend Sital who is a seasoned, professional Microblading Artist. She is friendly & caring. You feel comfortable knowing that you have someone with years of experience to give you the perfect brows that you've always wanted! Sital exceeded my expectations!!! She's the best!!!

Service was ok, and the person piercing my daughter's ear did a great job and was knowledgeable. The down side, I booked 3 weeks in advance only to showed up to literally 90% of their earrings being sold out. They only had a couple of their most expensive earrings left which my daughter didn't like. So I had to pay triple what I wanted to for earrings my daughter doesn't like just so she wasn't disappointed by walking away after already waiting 3 weeks. Wish they had told me at booking or called me back when the supply was low so we could have made a choice prior to appointment.

Took My 4 month old niece to have her ear pierced there today and absolutly amazing friendly service. Nicole was amazing not only was she very nice to me ( me being the person who was paying) she was just as nice to my sister. She explained everything to my sister very clearly and when it came time to pierce my neices ears Nicole made sure that my sister was ok with where the markings were and Nicole took the time to make my niece smile before she started and when she finished. Completly happy with the service recieved today. I would recommed Nicole.

i went to just get my eyebrows waxed and they have never looked so bad. they are too far apart, not straight - they have squiggly lines, and they aren’t symmetric and i look ridiculous. i dont know what i’m going to do until they grow back and i can get them fixed

Oh my gosh, A+ customer service all the way! We were in today getting my 6month olds ears pierced by the manager. The staff was extremely attentive to us as soon as we arrived, got us seated right away (even thought we were early for our appointment) and had staff members distract my little one with smiles and sounds while the manager pierced her ears. Very informative on aftercare, products and told me numerous times to call if any questions. Price was also reasonable and selection was good. Highly recommend, finally somewhere that values their customers and does customer service right!

Got my 1 year old daughter's ears pierced. The woman who did it was fantastic. Earrings are a bit pricey but I don't mind paying the extra bit for good quality earrings and to have someone have to pierce her ears. Squirmy 1 year olds aren't easy! Highly recommend.

The girl who did my brows was very nice and explained to me all of the products she was using which was really helpful. However, I noticed at home they were uneven (one started lower than the other) which really bothered me. Had to tweeze them further. Also noticed that when she filled them in, it just darkened my brows. Not really any further shaping which is weird since brow powder etc. should do that. Would recommend if you like skinny brows, but if you want trendier defined full brows I would go elsewhere.

You will not be disappointed It is the company that I am disappointed in Due to covid like other business they had to shut down but instead of extending my membership for 3 months what they are doing is .... Adding the 3 months to my next membership. Why should I have to renew my membership just to get my 3 months I am very disappointed in the way the company has handled this

I was incredibly anxious and from the moment I called to book the appointment until when I left the store they made sure to address all my concerns and questions. Nicole pierced my babys ears and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She eased my mind with her experience and knowledge. I'm so happy that we had Nicole do my daughters ears. I am not one to leave bad reviews.. but my experience here wasn’t good. I walked in for an HD brow and it was just one lady there later in the evening, she began waxing and tweezing and then said “oh, you’re really sparse in this area” and I know I wasn’t before she started so I knew she had messed something up. Sure enough there was a bunch of hair missing where I had hair and a year later I’m still trying to grow it back. Also when I left I had red skin (normal) from the waxing but where she waxed was all the way up my forehead.. I am not a hairy gal. Barely even needed a wax up there. I’ve never experienced anything like it, it was almost as if she was just going through the motions of it and not paying attention to what she was actually doing. Hopefully they’ve improved since then.

I 1000% recommend this place! They are absolutely amazing! My niece had her ears pierced here at 5 months and they turned out lovely! After hearing horror stories about Claire’s we knew we wouldn’t go there so we turned to this place! And honestly we’ve recommended it to so many people! The staff are so wonderful and fully qualified to be doing what they see going! Not like the young kids piercing ears at Claire’s. The quality if the earrings that they use are incredible and good quality. In December we couldn’t get the earring backings off my niece and there was build up beginning to show around the earring and on her ear we went in for assistance to get them off and they took the earrings off and helps us clean her ears and they cleaned the earrings free of charge! We also went in today and purchased another set of earrings cause the staff are just that wonderful and we got assistance putting them in! Honestly I can say a million nice things about this place!

Stopped by there today to get my eyebrows done, they were done by Tara. She is amazing and made me feel great about myself. They offer a wide variety of free treatments. She gave me a free facial to help with my dry skin and even now 2 hours later my face and skin feel amazing. Not to mention how awesome my brows look! Definitely recommend!

After too many places screwing up my eyebrows by waxing improperly or waxing off too much of my eyebrow… I had had enough. I stopped getting them done professionally for 3 years until one of my friends recommended I go to Visage to get them done. Of course I was skeptical, but when I arrived, an employee named Nicole reassured me that I would be taken care of and that she would help me get my eyebrows back to normal, and make them look better than ever. Her confidence helped me relax and she did an incredible job right off the bat. I have now been going to this place to get my eyebrows done for over 6 months and they are truly amazing. They never push sales on you and they are extremely knowledgeable. Every time I go in I learn something new because they give me advice on how I can improve my skin/breakouts, how to apply makeup properly, and so much more… I feel lucky to have found this place. Thanks again Nicole!! You are amazing and I always look forward to our next appointment.

I normally get my lash extensions done downtown but needed to book an appointment last minute in Durham. I saw that this company was certified with Extreme Lashes so I could count on the technician's qualification on applying lash extensions. The person who applied it was very nice and professional and did a good job applying them. She spent over two hours patiently and carefully applying them. They looked very pretty. However, the lash extensions were not glued on very well. She instructed me on not getting them wet and to avoid any activity that would affect the adhesiveness of the glue (i.e. Working out, steam rooms, etc.) for the next three hours. I went as far as keeping them completely dry for 24 hours (that's what I usually do) and I sleep on my back as well, which should keep the lash extensions intact even more. But the following day I already lost six lash extensions. These extensions were not glued to any mature eye lashes. It has been five days since I got them done and 1/3 of the lash extensions have fallen off. None of these were attached to any mature eye lashes. I paid $200 and I'm very disappointed with the results and I will not be coming back here.

Rachel pierced my ears (2nd holes) and my infant daughters. Rachel was fantastic. She was knowledgeable , professional, funny and overly patient with my 4yr old son bouncing around the store. As I entered a woman was leaving after getting her makeup done by Rachel for an event and it looked fabulous the colours she used complimented her attire and highlighted her skin tone. So if you’re in Visage ask for Five Star Rachel!

Ashley at the Toronto Exchange Tower is amazing! She has been doing my brows for years now and I am always happy with the results. I went on Mat leave and was unable to see her and my eyebrows missed her. Noone could do the same job as her. She is also not pushy with selling the visage product line. Went on a recommendation to get our daughters ears pierced. They were clean and the women were nice. However when the woman marked her ears I told her the one was a bit off, higher than the other side. She told me she would pierce at the very bottom of the dot, then didn't. So they are a bit uneven but I don't want to take them out to have them redone. It's been almost 3 months since having them done and I've had the backs come off twice now. First time thought it was a one-off, but it happened again, leaving nothing but the sharp end exposed. Put a pencil eraser as a temporary fix and went to a jewelry store that day to get new earrings.

I recently took my daughter to get her ears pierced at the Caryl Baker Visage location in the Oshawa Centre. It was an incredible experience! Although very busy, Nicole took her time answering all my questions and booked us in for an appointment. Once I brought my daughter back that afternoon for the appointment, she was very thorough, explaining every procedure to my daughter. Her ears were pierced at the same time by Nicole and another incredible person at the salon. It was done quickly and professionally. I appreciate all the time Nicole took with us even though she was very busy at the salon that day! My daughter's earrings look fabulous and are healing nicely! I recommend this location for ear piercing and I definitely recommend Nicole!

0 RATING Horrible experience at this store with the manager. I was with my kids and wanted to pierce my little girls ears. She approached my family with such a heavy attitude. We were waiting patiently on the outside of the store for her to finish up with other customers. As they left, she looked at us and asked 'Do you even have an appointment?" I didn't know you needed an appointment to even be in this store! She should have asked what we were interested in doing that day instead she looked at a blank black screen and said she had an appointment in 5 minutes. I found it surprising to see poor customer service in a store based on improving looks and beauty where you are working on the customer as opposed to selling an item. You should have a warm, welcoming greeting towards your customers. Especially when the customer is a little child wanting to get their ears pierced. Head office was contacted in regards to this and the owner of this particular store backed up that bad attitude. So don't bother!

I've been going to this location for 8 years and over the last 2 they've really dropped in customer service. Today was their last chance and I left angry. I asked for someone with experience and didn't receive. I was lectured and ended up having to fix my eyebrows when I got home. Had to tweeze and trim my own. Was a waste of my time and money.
