I spent 300$ to dye my whole head rainbow. Its been exactly 3 weeks ive only washed my hair 4 times since and the colour is just washing out in patches. I went into another salon for an opinion and they told me roots werent even coloured. On top of this the bill was only 290 when i handed 300$ cash i wasnt offered my change so i turned and left... i was going to tip regardless but that just made me feel uncomfortable

Awsome place, never got a pedicure before but was so nice to get it done, especially in a massage chair and eating a Sundae. What a day to relax. Also a hair salon massage parlour all in one. Definitely recommend nice people and for a fair price

I would not get a manicure here. My nails weren’t fully painted, they were missing polish at the tips and the base, there was polish on my cuticles and fingers. It was $65 and it honestly looked like I painted my own nails blindfolded... The colour selection was also very poor. Would not waste your time or money at this salon.

The staff were amazing and Amy is so friendly. Very accommodating. We had a large party 4 adults and 2 children and we all got our nails done within 1hr. Amy was very open with us and let us know that some staff had family emergencies and we would be longer than expected. We didn't mind at all. Unfortunately I paid extra for gel and my nails came out within a day. Usually it last 2 weeks... My daughters really enjoyed getting their nails done and the staff was very nice about me using the polish to redo their nails when they smudged them. I ended up doing their toes as well (which staff were kind enough to let me!!) The staff were well prepared for having 2 little girls as they had lots of stickers and coloring books to keep them entertained

Had a 30 min massage at this venue on my birthday month, which I received as a gift from my wife. The massage was done very well, being asked several times throughout it if the pressure was OK, and adjustment was done accordingly. Felt much more relaxed after it.

Amazing staff! Came here very scared to see anyone else for my hair, as I normally go to Montreal to a high end salon! Loved the staff, my hair looked amazing, and felt great. Coming from someone who was a colourist before giving a 5 star is a definite for here! Thanks ladies for making me feel comfortable even tho I was a nervous wreck. ????????

While getting a pedicure and manicure at Avaia I witnessed the patience of another attendant working with a client unable to enjoy her experience. She was very unhappy with the pocking and prodding. The attendant showed patience and skill as she worked and complimented her challenged client. In the end I heard the attendant say, "That's a nice smile" and the client, who had only cried throughout said, "Thank you ". A great experience. Yes, my attendant made my day, too.

I have been a service provider at Avaia for 5 years now. I feel it’s safe to say we are a warm welcoming environment that keeps our clients coming back. We clean our work stations and tools with a hospital grade sterilizer and we have never received less than an “A” on our routine health inspections. We work well as a team and keep a positive atmosphere to be in. I am proud to work here. Their was a change in ownership a couple of years ago and things continuously improve. If you haven’t been to Avaia recently, than you haven’t been to Avaia! We hope you will come and experience one of our full service treatments! Can’t wait to see you!

I have been to Avaia many times and have had experiences with a few different service providers. Usually, I see Steph for services. Steph is one of the most professional individuals I have ever seen. Whether you are getting a manicure, pedicure, facial or waxing, Steph makes sure that you are comfortable at all times. I have also had services provided by Alex and Bethany. All the ladies there are very friendly and exceptional at what they do. They are easy conversationalists and keep you laughing while you’re receiving services. The receptionist Taylor is very polite and professional both on the phone and in person. I highly recommend Avaia!

Went here for the first time. I had been following updates about this salon on social media as the owner posts alot about helping in the community and exciting news about staff. Made be feel like it was a family oriented place. I had a fantastic experience with Kristy. She is new but did an amazing job and was very friendly. I highly recommend her. I did feel the price was great now for the promotion they were offering but I couldn't afford to go there on a regular basis. Loved the owner. She is very friendly and welcoming.

My absolute favorite spa of all time! The girls are just amazing. They are so friendly and easy to talk to. Spa pedicure is amazing-it comes with a sundae and drinks while you relax in a dimmed room with relaxing music in a massage chair. It's my get away. Edit: I took my daughter here Sunday to see Barbie Princess and enjoy a spa experience specially for kids. We had an amazing time. My daughter loved being pampered and meeting Barbie. The girls working went above and beyond to make this a special experience. They were kind and friendly. The owner is great with kids and was really kind and helpful. Can't wait for the next one! Thank you so much Avaia Spa for making my daughter's birthday so special!

This post says my hubby's name but he did not get to have the pleasure...it was all mine lol. All I can say is WOW. Truly an amazing experience. I took myself and my 9 year old niece for a pedicure....she got a pedicure and manicure and the staff pampered her and treated her with such care. I can't say enough good things about the staff, the service, from the moment you walk through the door until you leave you will be amazed. Treat yourself to this great experience...highly recommend.

I am not usually one to write a review, but being new to the area as a lakehead student, I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted and I was not that impressed with the service I received for what I paid for, especially as a student. There was little-to-no interaction between myself and the women who did the service. I felt as though she wanted to get me out of the spa as soon as possible. She waxed way more off than I was hoping and expressed I wanted gone, left wax on my face and in my hair. Pretty much ran me out of the salon and left shortly after. I understand that maybe your shift is ending, but if you can't provide friendly service, pass me off to someone that can.
