I have purchased a 10 facial VIP package...it is an annual package and each facial session is 2 hours long. The facials that are offered in this package are outstanding....this is far beyond a traditional facial experience. Each session includes customized services and procedures which I really appreciate as I have more "mature" skin now. This is simply 2 hours of monthly bliss for me! Great staff. Well trained in customer service. And very knowledgeable about skin. I bought a bundle from Groupon (peel, extraction and microderm). I had a great experience thanks to Karolina. I learned new tips for better skin care and the products recommend to me work really well. Though I wish you guys would sell more budget friendly products, or give out a catalog of budget friendly products. That being said the Yon Ka Reinvegerating Mist has been a absolute game changer for my skin! I have been using it for months now and my skin is better able to maintain a healthier look and feel.

2018 - The three stars is a result of five star experience with a two star end result on my toes. I went with my friend for a spa afternoon with a spa pedicure and shellac manicure. The cleaning, soaking and cuticle work was professional. The shellac manicure set quickly and the colour was as shown on the palette. The spa pedicure was very thorough and they wrapped the toes in saran wrap and oil when they were done. However, when I got home (without doing anything but walk with my feet in the shoes), the big toes had both smudged badly to the point where the nail underneath was exposed - far beyond being able to correct with glitter polish. As it's winter time, it's not a big deal but hopefully they would allow someone to come back if this happened in the summer or for an important event ! ======= An update 2021 - I returned to Monterella Spa post pandemic. Amazing service and clean facilities. However, the shellac swatches do not much what is painted onto the nails - I ended up with a much brighter pink than expected even though we double checked the number. May be helpful to get this updated.

The spa is clean and presentable. Julie was amazing and delivered a high quality service. They don't sell and pressure you to buy their products like most spa. Instead, they focus on you and give you the best service. I think i found my go-to spa now.

I booked an appointment on June 26, 2018 for a mani pedi on July 4, 2018 and when I called to confirm my appointment- they didn't have me booked. The next date was July 11, 2018. I was so disappointed. They offered me a free shellac mani but to be honest, I'd rather go somewhere else than have to wait and risk not being booked in again. My experience is a BIG 0/5 Stars.

In all my honest opinion, I found Monterella Boutique and Spa rude and racist. They actually didn't do my desired service (bought on Groupon) and rather recommended something else, which saved them cost and time. The lady asked me my ethnicity and after that she changed her attitude towards me, which I could easily see. In the end, when I asked her to book me for my next appointment, she told me that she was waiting for another appointment and can't do it. I would never recommend them to anyone having ethnicity other than pure white Canadians! Thanks (Posting on Behalf of my innocent WIFE, who actually got the service they recommended!!!!)

This is a wonderful Spa, I’ve been seeing both Karolina and Edyta for many years. They and their team are caring, knowledgeable and treat each client like family. Every detail of the boutique is beautiful and their services are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve referred friends and family and they have all been repeat customers. Since my very first facial with Edyta about two and a half years ago, I have been a regular client. The spa is lovely and meticulously clean, the atmosphere is serene, but none of that is the reason I go there. I go because the facials are, without a doubt, the best I have ever experienced! Special care is given assess the skin's condition and treatments are chosen on an individual basis. In my case, I require extractions and exfoliation to keep my mature skin looking radiant and youthful and since seeing Edyta regularly I have gotten many compliments on my skin's appearance. One of the things I love about this spa, is that while the mask is on the skin, Edyta spends a few minutes giving me an indulgent arm, shoulder and neck massage. Pure bliss!! She never leaves me alone, as do so many other facialists. Everyone should experience this level of indulgence. So treat yourselves Ladies; you are worth it!

I missed an appointment and was asked to pay 50% . Which is fine . I paid 100$ from groupon to get their 2 treatment of ipl with oxygen ... used one and the second i missed due to babysitter cancelling on me last minute.. i spoke with the owner and she said i have no more amount left.. and when i told her how come.. i should have some amount left from the 100$ since its 50% deduction. She said dont tell me what to do .. i tried to explain to her . That i should have credit balance of 25$ left in my account. and she just told me she would email me. I am extremely upset about the way she spoke to me and that simple and honest calculations cant be done if you miss your appointment..

I purchased a Groupon for a mani-padi. I had the most luxurious experience. The salon is beautiful and clean, and you really feel pampered with top-notch service. You are greeted with a beverage and then allowed to just relax. My pani-pedi lasted a good 4 week! I would be a regular if the normal rates were not too high.

Came in to Montrella with my friend for the first time for a spa pedicure and shellac manicure.Loved the welcome sign on the mirror greeting at the front! Greeted warmly by Edyta. Place was very serene and welcoming, both Edyta and Natalia were amazing and made my friend and I feel relaxed and comfortable. Our nails looked amazing and well done!! Excellent staff, great sense of humor and amazing quality at Montrella spa. I honestly feel they went above and beyond to make our experience feel special. Highly recommend!!

I first started going to Karolina when she was in Mississauga many years ago. I followed the ladies to Dunn Street. They are friendly, fun and caring but most importantly true professionals. The facials are extraordinary as well as the mani pedi's. I always feel renewed and special after a tretament at Monterella. In my opinion, this is Oakville's best spa.

I had been going to Monterella for many years for laser and facials. In June I had made an appointment for a facial through their online booking system but did not receive any confirmation via text or email and saw that the slot I wanted was still available, so I assumed the request did not go through. I had a facial done today with Edyta, and afterwards saw Karolina at the cash register. I was very happy and excited to see Karolina, as I had been going to her for years and only recently took a break because I had gotten pregnant and had a baby. However, Karolina barely acknowledged me and instead said she and Edyta needed to talk to me about my last missed appointments. Karolina claimed I missed a laser appointment in September 2016 (which I have no recollection of) and the facial in June. I explained that I thought the appointment had not been booked. Edyta says that she called me and left a voicemail. I had issues with my phone at that time, so I was inclined to believe her. Edyta said that they have to charge me 50% of the fee as it was a “no show”. I said fine, it’s not a problem, I will pay. Karolina then very rudely said that I should be charged 100% since my appointment was on a Saturday and the aesthetician’s time was wasted. This comment shocked me as she was suggesting that not only should I pay 50%, which is their policy, but I should be penalized even further because it was a Saturday. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated and will not be returning. I will also advise my friends who come to the spa about the way I was spoken to. I was a long time client, but I will no longer be giving my business to Monterella. I would like to make clear that I did not and do not have an issue with their policy or the fact that I had to pay. What I have an issue with is the rude and unprofessional way Karolina spoke to me. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but it completely ruined my spa experience which I had been looking forward to for months. Might I kindly suggest that you speak to your clients with a little bit more respect.
