Shanette was absolutely amazing. She is very professional, welcoming and just incredible. The wax she uses is significantly less painful than any wax I have previously encountered which made the whole experience almost painless. I got a brazilian wax and underarms and Shanette did everything she could and took her absolute time and put so much effort and precision to ensure every single hair was gone and she even did everything she could to take care of the ingrown hair I have. This place is a bit more expensive than other places, but trust me, you will happily pay whatever amount she charges because it is all worth it — just like I did. I am so happy I got a gift certificate to be introduced to this spa, I won't go anywhere else now. Before going to see Shanette I thought I was getting good waxings and facials but there is an incredible difference in what I'm getting now and what I was getting then. The difference can be felt and seen immediately after a facial, the products and equipment used makes my skin so soft. I could even see an immediate difference in my skin in the before and after shot she took while I was there. I love going to see Shanette, not only because I look and feel so much better after but also because she has such a beautiful soul and always has a way of making me feel so special.

WORST wax EVER. I wish I could give 0 stars. I made an appointment for a brow wax (about 3 weeks ago) and told her I wanted a CLEAN UP. She literally waxed off half my right eyebrow!! When I told her, she said she didn't take anything off which was obviously false and then she said there were a few hairs there that "weren't doing anything" so she waxed it off. I cried the whole way home. My brows have never been that thin- one was semi arched and the other was literally round. I went on vacation that night and for 2 weeks I had the worst brows of my life. She knew I was unhappy and told me I didn't have to pay but she didn't sound very happy saying that. I paid her because that is not what it is about. $20 is also very expensive for that awful job. This was the absolute worst eyebrow wax I've ever had. I would NEVER recommend this place for an eyebrow wax to my worst enemy. I have never cried over brows until I came here. NEVER AGAIN. Please understand what a clean up means ...... it's not okay to give people extremely thin brows !!!!! Now I am waiting for them to grow back and hopefully they do and will continue going to Sephora brow bar..... UPDATE: this is my response to your reply. I did not ask you to give me an arch. I said I liked this brow more arched but I just want a clean up. Also, if someone wants an arch, waxing the TOP PART where there is currently an arch, doesn't give it "more" of an arch. Thinning my brows from the top AND bottom is not cleaning up nor giving me an arch. and even if I got an arch it wouldn't be bad- you gave me a ROUND eyebrow. Please accept responsibility for what you did and stop trying to shift the blame. Unbelievable.

The price is a bit more than the others, but what made it worth the extra spend was the number of treatments on my back as well as the time - an hour and a half! Shanette's spa is very bright, warm and inviting. She is very friendly and professional. What I liked most is that she offered suggestions, all the while not feeling pressured to buy more products or services but rather to take my time and think about it. Visited this spa today a bit worried since I've had bad experience before with hair waxing at a different spa. Shanette was very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The waxing was very straight forward and I was very surprised how I felt no pain at all and how smooth my skin feels.
