Bought a Groupon for this hair salon. The hours are really hard to work around someone with who works 9-5. Only open until 7 and not open on Sundays on Mondays. Had to get refunded.

I purchased a Groupon to get my hair cut and coloured. Herba treated me like a star despite paying a discounted rate. The studio was very clean and she offered me coffee; I felt right at home. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain! This was my first time trying Balayage so I was nervous but she did a great job of giving me the subtle colour! I plan to go back to her for my next cut.

The spa I keep coming back to. I've had lash extensions, shellac manis and pedis, facials, massages and I have the best time every time. They also use the most amazing products that have helped my skin tremendously. It is such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff treat their clients like royalty. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to treat themselves.

I got my hair done at this place last week. I have short and normal hair (not too thick not to thin) and Hebra, the lady doing my hear complained the whole time that she had to use so much product and at the end she left me with yellow/ orange chunks that look horrible. I didn't want to pay for that but I didn't want any issues the ugly hair style cost me $200. Please don't go there unless you don't care about your hair.

I love Pure Salon & Spa. I have been coming to this neighbourhood gem for eight years. Its owner, Judy Geletka, is one of the kindest, hard working and courteous small business owners I know. The Salon is like a respite from the world. Peaceful and quiet. Clean and comfortable. Judy is a talented aesthetician who always puts her clients first. When you descend to the spa downstairs for nails, facials and other aesthetics--it is so calm and soothing. Upstairs, the modern and clean salon is welcoming to customers for hair and brow services. I had a facial with Annick today and it was wonderful. As a retired spa owner I tend to be picky, but this is probably the best facial I can remember having. She did a great job. I'll be returning to Charlottetown some day and will definitely return to this spa . Everyone was friendly , helpful and professional. Lovely spa, lovely people.

Booked an appointment a week ahead of time for a child's birthday party. Two days before no record of my booking and had to cancel the party. Even worse this was a rebooking of the party as the first had to be cancelled due to a medical emergency. Staff had no answer for why. And did not help. I will not go here again or recommend.

I had to cancel my appointment (looking to rebook) because the late 715 PM appointment couldnt work for me. I've had a few services through pure spa, and I LOVED it. Recommended to all my friends. However, today my opinion has changed. The lady on the phone didn't even ask me to rebook and interrupted me before I was able to tell her I need a different day to tell me there will be $50 charge for cancelling in under 24 hours. I was floored. I asked if she was being serious and she simply responded with "yup, its policy". As much as I love this place, I will not be returning. Customer service today was awful. I understand charging for cancels and no shows, but rescheduling?? Of course she didn't stop long enough for me to tell her I needed a different time! Do these girls not get paid if no one is there? Because that is the impression I got.

It was a nice atmosphere, but $130 for a pedicure and shellac fingernails is way too much. I had requested a pedicure and manicure, but decided I just wanted shellac polish on my fingernails. The girl told me it would be a similar price to the express manicure, but I guess not and I didn't receive anything special--just simply my fingernails painted--no soaking, sugar scrub, etc. Not a manicure. I won't be back, which is disappointing....

I have been having my hair done by Heba for about a year. She changed my hairstyle and I'm loving it. The cut is perfect! She is an amazing stylist and colourist and lots of fun! The products are excellent. The decor of the salon is modern and relaxing. The customer service is excellent, i.e., tea, coffee, water. I recommend it and Heba very highly.

I am very happy with my first visit at this salon. The place looks awesome, clean and the staff are friendly. I had a microblading done perfect to my liking and I had lots of compliments. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and will definitely go back for more.

Had wash and blow dry and steam ironed several times. Always great. Actually Judy was nice enough to let me purchase the steam iron through them. Love this product. Had the most wonderful relaxing facial with Judy the owner downstairs at the spa and still impressed what it did for my skin. Definitely coming back. Excellent experience!!!

Paid $50 for a groupon, another $50 at the salon and then another $25 to get the style fixed at Marc Anthony Salon down the street. As a colorist the hairdresser was quite skillful .But there a slight taste issue . Overall it was not horrible , but I am going to March Anthony next time.

I bought a groupon and booked a spray tan weeks in advance. The spray tan was with Judy for 4:30 pm on a Tuesday. Drove 40 min in traffic to get to Pure Spa and was running a bit late after trying to find parking. I arrived at 4:40 pm only to find them closing up the spa and being told Judy had left. No phone call or text. I had an important event to attend so I went one block over to Jolie Beauty Bar. I would highly recommend them instead. Jolie Beauty Bar were able to accommodate me right away and I received amazing service in a beautiful environment. Will be refunding my groupon with pure spa!

Quality friendly service with incredible results! I saw a lady at the grocery store who claimed to be in her 50’s with incredible looking skin, so I asked what her secret was. She recommended I see Judy at Pure Salon and Spa for a facial, so I booked an appointment. My visit with Judy started with a lovely cup of herbal tea and a thorough consultation/skin analysis. She took care to recommend the most effective service for my particular skin type/texture, and listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve. I ended up having the most incredible microdermabrasion facial. The treatment room was playing soft relaxing music, was beautiful , clean and smelled incredible ( aromatherapy) , and Judy was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and I noticed a significant change in my skin’s appearance right away!!! Even my husband noticed the change ????! Judy also introduced me to Dermalogica skin care for my sensitive skin. Amazing products! I’m so happy I found Judy and her magical hands. I have already booked my next appointment and I can’t wait to try every facial service she has to offer. I have since been back for waxing and an incredible mani/pedi. Both my manicure and pedicure lasted a very long time.

A bright, clean salon with kind and considerate staff. The salon was fairly empty and quiet when I went for a hair cut one Saturday morning. Staff were attentive and listened carefully to my description of the hair cut I wanted (albeit, a rather specific hair style) but were unable to replicate the picture I shared with them. I tend to give salon stylists only one chance to “get it right” before trying a new salon so I won’t be returning. If you are looking for a simple, straightforward haircut or just a trim, this might be the place to go. But if you want a bob or layers or anything more complicated, I would look elsewhere.
