THE MASSAGES I GET BY ROWENA ARE SUPERB. THE FACIAL BY MARIA WAS USELESS - I EVEN PAID AN EXTRA $20 FOR I DON'T KNOW WHAT - I WALKED OUT WITH GREASY CREAM IN MY EYES - SHE DIDN'T USE ANY MOTORIZED MACHINES ON MY FACE TO STIMULATE COLLAGEN. PLEASANT LADY BUT INEFFECTIVE FACIAL, I'M SORRY TO SAY.

I had the hot stone massage in this place and i have to say it was really worth the money spent for 50 Minutes massage. there were some points which need to be improved , tough. The music was not in line with the environment at some points and did not bring the required calmness to the atmosphere. The other issue was about the bed sheets , it did not look a new & tidy set of sheets. No shower is provided for the clients, so this is another drawback in the spa. All in all i have to say that the staff were friendly and if you need information they walk you through the massage process. the massage itself was complete, thorough and satisfactory.

I was wary of coming in for a treatment during COVID, but due to a workplace muscle strain, I needed pain relief. I went in for a Trigger Point Massage on Aug 25th, 2020 and I felt so safe at this location. I felt as if they took their health and safety practices (during a pandemic) very seriously, I was impressed with all measures in place (hand sanitizer upon entry, socially distanced standing areas, masks mandatory outside of treatment room, temp checks before appointments, safety forms filled out before appointments). Also, Mike the RMT was fantastic. His previous chiropactic work experience really elevated the quality of massage. I had really bad pain in my upper middle back and was unable to turn my shoulders side to side without pain, now a day later, I can move my shoulders and even twist my spine with only mild-soreness. He was extremely professional and communicative during the session, and I could tell he truly cared about my health. I will definitely be back and requesting Mike from now on!

I had last appointment and the staff was so much in rush to close. I asked for add on or any upgrades but I was not allowed saying add one not possible as you have only 50 min. Seriously? Aromatherapy would take the same time as original 50 min massage. The massage itself was more oil rubbing than actual massage. The therapist also had long nails which hurt me multiple times. I did not feel relaxed. Had very bad experience.

I am appalled at the service I experienced at this location of hand and stone. I had an issue with a cancellation and the secretary was completely rude and hung up the phone on me. I gave her my explanation and requested that I speak to the owner and she literally yelled at me. I am a relatively new client and will never be visiting this location again.. I need the owner to contact me asap!

Clean facility and very good massage from Helena. However, be aware that the parking lot is very tight and guard poles are very low and not clearly visible from in the car while backing out. I unfortunately damaged my car leaving the lot.

The location of this spa is in the high income area & the services they provided are definitely reflect the expectation of the surrounding residences. Their service is on par with those from Granite Club but at fraction of the cost. The place is clean & I was kindly greeted by the lovely spa associates. I highly recommend their male RMT; they are friendly, professional & excellent at their services. Signing up for membership has no signup/cancellation fee & allow me to keep their introductory prices for my next services. Would definitely come back & recommend to friends

Went in to get a facial & aromatherapy massage earlier this week. The place is immaculate, not a spec of dust were to be seen in the rooms. Table / towels / linen were all smelled like clean laundry which is really the most important thing for me. The RMT definitely knew what they were doing, they fixed a good amount of knots on my upper back. I also ended up buying some of the products that the aesthetician used during our session. Great location and plenty of parking spots. Will be visiting more often.

I came here over a week ago and had a great experience. I was treated to a deep tissue massage by Natalie for one hour. She is very professional while also being very personal, friendly and kind. She has an amazing personality. She was also very good at her massage, she was attentive to the areas on me that needed the most work and I left feeling very relaxed. They follow all covid 19 guidelines and sanitize everything. I felt completely safe in this facility. Would go back again.

I'm a first time customer who booked a 1 hour massage. I walked in to find no one sitting at the front desk. After a two minute wait, a man greeted me and and handed me a standard questionaire regarding my health history. Once completed, a male therapist greeted me and took me to the room. He asked me my name and then made his way towards the door. There was an obvious language barrier so I figured he would read my history and return. I communicated my preference; a Swedish massage style with "sports therapy" which I saw on the website. He did not deliver anything of the sort. I had to keep telling him to use more pressure as he was lightly rubbing my skin for the most part. He used the oddest techniques such as shaking my neck, using his nuckles and massaging me over a towel. He avoided my thighs, upper leg and hip area. He seemed very uncomfortable. I asked him how long he had been a RMT, he said 1 year. I have been getting massages consistently for the last 10 years and I was shocked at my experience today. He obviously did not read my history and did not deliver any therapy. The lights were super bright, the room was cold and the towel over the face attachment on the table was stained. It was the absolute worst massage. After I was done, the man at the front desk proceeded to sell me a package of massages after I was obviously unimpressed with the service. Do yourself a favor and get a massage somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The massage therapist did not listen/understand my request for a gentle massage and continued with a very aggressive treatment. I shared my feelings with the receptionist who was most understanding. Long story short, I requested a phone call from the owner/manager several times, with no followup. I have since cancelled my membership. Still, no call. It doesn't seem like the owners care about their customers.

To my surprise I had a wonderful experience at this location. I had read reviews first and based on the reviews I was skeptical. Scheduling was easy. When I arrived the gentleman at the front welcomed me, had me fill out my paperwork and offered me water. My RMT Rowena was AMAZING! She had very firm pressure and asked me throughout the massage how the pressure was and if I was okay. Her technique was soothing and helped to alleviate the tension held in my shoulders and neck. I will be going back to see her. The entrance presentation is done well but I wish they put that effort into the rooms with a hook for clothing or bags and a mirror. Overall I would recommend this location.

This was my first visit to the spa and I was quite impressed when I entered; it was a very clean, welcoming, and relaxing environment. I had requested a hot stone massage, and when the RMT took me to the room, it was a great temperature and was set up to be a very relaxing atmosphere. The RMT asked my name and left and then returned quite quickly and I had to ask him to wait outside as I wasn't yet ready. I was never asked about the health questionnaire I completed, nor was I asked about treatment pressure. I believe there was a language barrier which prevented these question from being asked. The stones were very hot and burned my skin, and the amount of massage lotion that was used was ridiculous. Also, the RMT used his elbows to put quite a bit of pressure along my spine, which is still quite sore today. I receive regular massages elsewhere but thought I would try this as the introductory price was great and a hot stone massage sounded very relaxing. I've been left feeling tired and sore, and definitely not relaxed. I will not be going back.

Mike was INCREDIBLE! He is the most experienced message therapist I’ve ever come across, and it really shows. I’ve had a very serious issue lasting me 8+ years, where my right hip is misaligned and higher than my left hip. I’ve been living like this for a really long time, and one session with Mike showed me that he can actually treat this decade long issue for me. I immediately booked another appointment for next week. I couldn’t BELIEVE he was able to take on my issue since so many physiotherapists and chiropractors in the past failed to help with this. I don’t want to sound dramatic.. but one session with him CHANGED MY life. I’ll be coming back here weekly if not bi weekly for treatment from now on, thanks again Mike.

This location is a classic example of people investing in a franchise and taking advantage of a good brand. The “therapist” had no approach and ZERO technique. They are not experienced massage therapists here. Zero ethic and zero regard for people in an already vulnerable situation.

The facilities are in general clean and it has a peaceful atmosphere. I went for a regular 50min massage because of chronic back/shoulder pain from consecutive long hours of sitting, performing tasks on a computer for decades. I was able to schedule an appointment with Holly (Xue Hui) Hu last minute. Reception desk is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Holly who only works on Sundays. During the entire treatment she was very focused. She was able to cover neck, entire back, shoulders, certain parts of head/face, both legs and my right hand (due to excessive typing) within the allocated time based on her assessment of what treatment was needed besides the back and knee concerns I had originally originally requested the appointment for. Each area was treated with consistent targeted force for each body part, in a detailed and attentive manner like no other massage therapist I have tried (I have tried over 8 other therapists in various cities).

I had one of the best massages thanks to Mike. With a background in massage therapy and physiotherapy, not only was it a relaxing massage, but he was also super effective at targeting areas of discomfort and for providing pain relief. Mike made sure to make me feel comfortable speaking up for the type of massage I wanted - pressure, technique, areas of discomfort, etc. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone. He is truly amazing!! Also, I was super impressed with the high quality sanitation protocols during the massage of this Hand and Stone location. Not only was there hand sanitation stations, clean and dirty pen containers, temperature check at the door, but also every employee practiced social distancing and wore a face mask.
