I was scheduled for a mani-pedi at 4:30. I had to move my work schedule around to accommodate this time. When I arrived they cancelled my appointment saying a client arrived 40 minutes late which pushed my time back. Upon booking my appointment I provided my phone number and they never called me to let me know. Very unprofessional. Won't be going back.

You will LOVE the SERVICES and PEOPLE at Be Unik! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with such a warm smile from the owner, Josh and his amazing talented wife, Marian! They made me feel right at home and comfortable - the atmosphere was really friendly, not pretentious AT ALL, and my hairstylist Will gave me the best haircut I've had in years. I have really long hair, and so naturally when it's time to trim off my dead ends, I get super nervous that my hairstylist might cut off too much. However, Will and the team applied the RIGHT treatment on my hair before the cut, which exfoliated off my dead ends, and THEN he did a gorgeous layered cut that brought my natural healthy curls back, and my hair is now PERFECT! Along with their incredibly knowledgeable team of hair stylists, they also have awesome creative estheticians and nail technicians! It was such a pleasure to have my eyelash extensions and teeth whitened by Marian - she truly cares about her clients and it shows. Throughout the entire process, she was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was feeling okay, asking if I needed anything, and not only was the experience exceptional, but the end result was FANTASTIC. My teeth literally look as white as snow, and she gave my lashes the most gorgeous mix of natural and glam. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone to get their services done here! As for my nails, although I usually opt for a solid natural colour, I had some fun with my artist Guri and Will who pulled up Pinterest for me, and I'm so happy that we actually ended up picking a sick design that is completely out of the box! Absolutely love the design. Guri nailed it (pun-intended! :)) and my nails looks just like the photo on Pinterest. If you're looking for an all-encompassing salon, (they even have fat-reduction procedures!) with the kindest, coolest staff - YOU have to check out Be Unik! I went today for the first time to do balayage with my hair. Very pleased with the results. My hairstylist was Amrita and she was very accommodating and professional. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and nice. Would definitely return for other services.

I came here to do my nails and I was not expecting the level of service I received. The nail tech literally spent two hours doing a shellac mani and pedi and her attention to detail was amazing. I have severely dry and cracked heels and have never been able to get rid of them. This nail tech took her time scrubbing my feet and checked them constantly to make sure they were gone. She also did an amazing job with removing my cuticles and, again, checked them constantly from all angles to make sure they were properly treated and removed. When it came to painting the nails, she took her time as well and wasn’t afraid to remove the nail polish and start over when necessary. I’m very happy with my experience at Be Unik and would 10/10 recommend it for nail services.

Highly recommended. I had Marian do microblading on my eyebrows and she did a fantastic job! My natural eyebrows were very sparse and short and she made them look perfect. I can't believe how real the hair strokes look. She walked me through the whole process and measured my face to achieve the perfect brow for my face. The studio was very clean, bright and modern.

It is my second time That I go to BeuniK to highlight my hair and I’m really satisfied. I was dark haired and wanted to change for highlights. In BeuniK helped me to find the color that suits me well according that what I wanted and my natural colour. They gives you good advices and styles perfectly your hair. Marian, Josh and the people that works in BeuniK they are so very friendly and speaks Spanish too. Armita did a good job with my hair. I will keep going there to style my hair and I recommend a 100%. I went to Be Unik Salon and the entire experience was amazing from the time I walked in. The salon was thoroughly sanitized and cleaned, staff had PPE and were very nice, but most importantly the quality of the services I received were top notch. I got shellac manicure and pedicure, as well as Henna tinting on my eyebrows and my eyebrows never looked better! I’ll definitely be back to do everything with them again. I live in Ajax so it’s a drive away but I was so pleased with the experience that I wouldn’t mind travelling the distance. On top of it, they have a small boutique in the shop which has an assortment of things! Definitely worth the visit to this salon!

I visited be Unik for a shellac manicure and was easily able to make the appointment though their online booking system. I believe my nail technician's name was Laura. She paid great attention to detail while performing the service, even fixing a broken nail so the length was even. The salon itself is beautiful - clean, modern and stylish with a high-end feel. They also have a great selection of nail colours. Both the technician and the woman at the front desk (who I assume is the owner) were friendly and professional. They made me feel like a valued customer and I will certainly be back for other services!

Nice and clean place. I got the keratin treatment in groupon. It was a good deal and Ada worked very well in my hair. I recommend this place. They are also bilingual (spanish speakers) ????

I don't recommend doing nails here. Took them 2 and a half hours to do my nails, which I dont mind if the quality of work matches the time. To add french tip is an extra $10 (other salons only charge $5) and was done poorly. Lines weren't straight and was too thick.

The worst keratin i ever got. My hair was the same after the wash. No difference at all. The lady was very aggressive. Total waste of money.

I had new acrylic nails done. The girl took 2.5 hrs to do them and the workmanship was terrible. There are not many colour choices either. The place is clean and staff are lovely.
