It’s now 4 months I’m going to this spa. Staff are friendly and the spa is clean. I’m very happy with their work. Jenny does a great job for refill. They have good selections of colours. Massage chairs are so great! I love the foot massage treat after pedicure. I am so happy I found this place!

Call ahead to make sure they can fit you in as this is a popular salon in North Vancouver . They have comfy massage chairs to sit in while you relax and get your pedicure. I had both my hands and feet pampered on my last visit and left feeling ready for my tropical vacation . The staff here are always friendly and do a lovely job. Jenny is one of the owners and always makes sure you are well cared for and happy.

*sorry for the long review, just trying to help someone who is looking for their new local salon!* I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS NAIL SALON IN NORTH VAN!!!! It will forever be my go-to salon. Since moving to NV, I was on a mission to find the best nail salon and I’ve tried a few, only to be disappointed with the quality of work, vibe of the staff, and the uncleanliness of the work place. I kept searching online and came across Top Modern Nails. I read all the positive reviews, all of them mentioned how the salon owners and staff are super friendly, accommodating, professional and amazing at what they do! The reviews also mention how clean the salon is and how they have serious Covid protocols in place. I really appreciate that, as it is very important to minimize the spread of germs, to keep the clients safe, as well as the staff. Jenny and Kenny are the lovely owners of the salon, their team is top notch and they all seem so happy at work. They treat every client with so much kindness and care. You will always be greeted by Jenny and Kenny when you walk in. It is a small family owned, well ran business that I am happy and proud to support! My first appointment, I booked with Kenny for an acrylic fill. I expressed how I hated my last set from a different salon (all lifted and chipped in 10 days!) He said he will fix my nails and make them exactly how I like them. He did exactly that and more. I loved my nails. The shape and color was perfect, the acrylic was layered on smooth and sturdy, he capped the tips to ensure no liquids can seep in between my nails to cause lifting or worse... a nail fungus. After 3 weeks, my nails were still all in tack, no chips, no cracks, no lifting. The services are well priced for the exceptional quality and attention to detail you get! I always leave the salon super happy about my nails. They also have a loyalty program for their clients which I find is rare nowadays. After 7 services, you’ll get $10 off! Such a nice feeling to get a stamp on your card. Thank you Jenny, Kenny, and Top Modern Nails Team!!!! You guys are the best!!! :)

(I should caveat this post by saying I'm 8 months pregnant. Things would make more sense). Walked in without an appointment and they accommodated me very easily. They kept apologizing for making me wait the 5 minutes I had to sit there which was absolutely nothing, my poor swollen feet were bathing in the cool water, getting ready for my pedicure. The ladies were all super nice and kept asking me about the due date and so forth. The even brought out pillows to make me more comfortable. My pedicurist spent a good time massaging my legs which felt really really amazing cause, as I mentioned, super swollen. The nail polish came out perfect, and as I was getting ready to pay, one of their regulars insisted she pay for my pedi. Just goes to show how amazing of a place this is, that a random stranger would offer to pay for someone else's nail job. I don't live in the area, but I'm sure as heck coming back here anytime I need my nails done!

I have been going to Top Modern Nails for years now (5+) on the recommendation of a friend of mine, and I have never been disappointed in the quality or service I have received here! In turn, I have sent countless friends and family here and they have all been impressed as well. Kenny and Jenny are the husband wife team behind TMNails and they are always sweet, professional and welcoming! My "order" is a mani pedi with eyebrow shape and tint and it's very reasonably priced for the awesome job that they do every time!

I came in to have my gel nails removed. Having had gel nails removed professionally at other places before, I expected to have my nails soaked in acetone and wrapped with aluminum foil before being removed. Not only did they not soak my nails, they went straight for the pliers and forcibly plied off the gel nails. Parts of my nail were plied off with the gel nails. My nails are now cracked, weak, and painful to touch. I will not be returning ever again.

Visited this place for the first time on a neighbors recommendation and am very happy with the results. Kenny did my nails. I have visited 4 other salons in the last little while And wasn't happy with the the others as they would make my cuticles bleed. Kenny kept checking in to see if I was okay and that he was gentle on my hands. Will definitely be going back. They are a busy nail spa so I recommend an appointment.

I wasn't pleased with my experience. My friend and I had booked our appointments together, and after a very short time, the woman working on me was finished. She was working very quickly and sloppily, not doing any massage, no callus treatment, (both which I was told I would receive), and cutting my cuticles too close so they cut into me a few times. After she was done, I stayed and waited for my friend for 45 min while the person working on her gave her a massage, treatments, and worked thoroughly on her. I'm not sure if the woman if I had was having a bad day? I will not be returning to this establishment.
