This spa was lovely! Donna was awesome she really pays attention to what you write on the intake form, I've been so lots of bigger spas that make you fill the form but will completely ignore what you actually write. But I wrote tight left side and she found the problem spots there. I felt well hosted here Donna made sure I was well looked after and checked in with me just the right amount. A super lovely spa with tons of availability for weekend appointments because it's still new, get in before she has regulars!

Had a very nice and relaxing experience. I had a one hour Aromatherapy Massage which was wonderful. Each of my muscle groups were worked on and eased with careful but firm manipulation. The pressure was perfect and I could feel the knots unravelling and relief settling in. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing spa experience ! I will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised at Balay. My husband and I got a GroupOn for here and we both had a 90min massage and a facial. I left relaxed, feeling like jelly and very happy with my massage. Salon is clean and comfortable. It is easy to get to, one block from the Seabus. I would have given a 5-star, but they do not have RMTs, but don’t let that stop you. My masseuse knew what she was doing, wasn’t too chatty and checked in throughout the massage on the pressure. I would highly recommend here for a relaxation massage.

This place was amazing!! Took my mom here for a 90min facial and massage.. it was heavenly. They really listened to your bodily concerns and worked to get the knots out. Literally massaging you from head to toe/finger tips. Left feeling so relaxed, thank you to Donna and Ai for a wonderful experience.

I had an amazing massage with Donna today. I had a lot of back and neck pain so she did a freestyle deep tissue massage and it really did the trick - and definitely the best massage I got in Vancouver. The spa is modern, clean and very tranquil. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice too! I can't say enough good things and highly recommend anyone check it out and see.

The spa itself was so clean and immaculate and following all Covid protocols - there were no other customers there! It felt like my private spa :) The massage itself was one of the best services I've had in a long time. I will definitely book more spa packages with them directly in the future!

I came in with some shoulder/neck tightness (from sitting at a desk all day) and pain in my hips (from carrying my daughter). Donna did an excellent job of releasing that tension, I have felt much better since! Facilities are also very nice and serene.

Called in on a whim for an impromptu massage day with my girlfriend. Got a deep tissue for 60min and a 60min relaxation for her. Met courteously at the door and welcomed to a very clean environment. Arika, my masseuse was quite petite and I was prepared for disappointment. I was almost immediately blown away by her professionalism and satisfying technique within the first 10 seconds. Everything was clicking seemingly back into place throughout the massage. When we left i felt like my posture was healed. We go for massages quite frequently, and we both agree that this was one of, if not the best experience we've had.

I had bought the 90 min Sanctuary package. Overall it was great. Massage was nice. Facial was average but too short. So was the extras(only maybe 5-10 min each, was hoping for more) but it was a nice touch. My favourite part was the head/scalp massage. The staff was lovely.

But Balay spa was amazing for both of us. They heard our pain points and focused on them with the right technique. We are going to buy their packages and go there regularly. Highly recommend.

Great ambiance with excellent service. I received a 90 minute sports massage via a Groupon voucher. Initially, I was nervous about the amount of accuracy being that my masseuse did not ask me about my problem areas. However, there was no need to tell her. She took care of every tense muscle and knew exactly which areas to focus on simply by touch. She was extremely thorough and I would most certainly recommend the Balay Spa. My absolute only reason for giving this company 4 stars instead of 5 is because the room was really cold during the massage. Even though heated sheets were provided on the massage table, the room still had a chill in it that made it hard to be completely relaxed without shivering in between position changes. Other than that... great experience!

One of the BEST massages/facials I have had on the North Shore. Comparable to the other larger beauty chains (Sabai, Spa Utopia), even better than some experiences I have had at these places. My therapist was clear and thorough, I felt safe under covid restrictions; sanitization and all covid protocols met. Amazing massage - excellent pressure to my specifications and the facial was divine. I have studied massage therapy and am always conscious of the fundamentals of it while receiving treatments and this experience not only met the mark but exceeded expectation. Do not hesitate to book here. It's small and sweet but don't let appearances fool you. They are mighty and skilled, friendly and helpful. Thank you Balay Spa!

This is a nice spa for facials that uses the excellent Eminence products only, so you know exactly what they are using during your facial! It is a well-priced and pleasant facial. My skin looked and felt really good after.

Went for a freestyle deep tissue massage. Great experience from the second I entered the spa as it’s got a lovely decor and all staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming with a smile on their faces. The spa is a vibrant warm relaxing environment. I spend a lot of time at my desk at work on a computer and the therapist relieved a lot of tension in all areas but in particular my fingers, hands and forearms. Would highly recommend. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Seabus. Free parking. 5 out of 5 stars!

First time going to Balay spa and not going to be my last. I signed up for the sanctuary indulgence package, it is worth it. Throughout the session, the therapist is friendly and attentive. I requested for a strong massage and that was delivered. The products used for facial smells nice and relaxing + it is organic. I can definitely see my face glowing after the session. It is not a huge shop but the atmosphere is good, everyone there is friendly. I look forward to pay a visit again.

I travel all the way from kits to get a massage from Donna. Her deep tissue massages are some of the best I've ever had. She seems to intuitively know my body and where those knots and tensions are. I've come out of there consistently satisfied, with my body feeling like jello (in a good way). Oh also, prices are very reasonable.

Had an absolutely lovely experience here. Booking was super easy. The spa itself is clean and well styled. Donna at the front desk was warm, welcoming and quick to answer any of my questions. Arika, my massage therapist, was absolutely incredible. I like a very firm massage and she did not disappoint. Her communication throughout my 90 minute package was perfect - not too much but checking in every now and then to ensure the pressure and temperature were to my liking.
