I made an appointment at 1PM on a Sunday. This place says it opens at 11am on sundays. When I got there, it was closed. I called the place and she said “I’ll be right there”. I waited 10 mins in front of the door and no show. Absolutely terrible service!

*updated review - & still a 5 star joint* Loan & her team do incredible work & go above & beyond. the last time i was there Loan was so funny. she wasn't happy with her work so she kept removing the little designs she just painted & re-did them. even the times i thought she did a great job.! she strived for perfection. it was all good though... she knew i wasn't in a rush & i was also her last appointment. it’s the perfect spot for going with a friend or 2 because it’s small so u feel like your in a more intimate & personal setting. don’t get me wrong. it’s not SUPER tiny. it’s perfect enough that u can go in and share the place with perfect strangers but be fine with that. it’s comfortably small. kind of like a few ladies that all don’t know one another could comfortably start up a group conversation amongst themselves. many places have so many chairs so they can cram as many customers in at any given time so there’s not the same kind of comfortable vibe like they have at Nirvana Nails. anyhow i can’t say enough about this place. i personally a great experience every time i go there.! they aren't on a main street so probably don't get as much walk in business. plus its also a one way street so some people might not even notice it - which would be a shame. but honestly i almost want to keep the place a secret so i can have it all to myself.! I mean as far as booking your preferred appointment times goes. no competition in that regard. ????????????

Excellent service and spa-like atmosphere. I've tried a lot of places and this is the best on the North Shore. Plexiglass, face shields and masks are in place along with sanitizer and good social distancing. It's small, but mighty.

My girlfriend goes there. She's always raving about the place. Ive had to drive her there a couple of times and quickly dropped in with her, just to see what all the fuss was about. They were very kind ladies and offered me something to drink. Apart from water. Then they were going to clear me a spot to sit and wait but I was already heading to the hardware store. They even offered me a spot in a massage chair. Since it was end of day there wasn't much worry about drop ins coming in and wanting the spot. Otherwise I'm sure they would not have offered me that spot. But it was all true. Everything she said about the place. Excellent care and attention to their customers AND THEIR BOYFRIENDS. BTW - her nails (+ toes ) always come out looking amazing.

Staff was lovely. Place was clean and tidy. Small but very cozy nail salon. They did a great job with color and treating my cuticles (I am a little ticklish). Got a regular polish pedicure done. Will be coming here all summer to get my nails done ❤️

The BEST salon I have ever been to!!! The staff are so nice and they are AMAZING at what they do. I go to Lean and she does my acrylic set better than any other place I've ever been to. I really don't like when acrylics are thick, it makes them look clunky and fake, but Lean does them so seamlessly and thin that they look like my real nail. They are also very friendly! 11/10 would recommend!

Popped in without an apt. They were able to do a pedicure for me. Massage was great and they were so nice. Chatted a bit and offered for me to stay a bit longer and relax when they found out I was waiting for my husband at hospital and was an hour and a bit away from home. A very pleasant surprise on a stressful day. Thank you!

I loved my experience here today!! I went to spoil myself while my daughter was at daycare and I had some free time, ended up running into an old friend getting a pedicure and making new friends all in the same trip! Loan, the woman who did my nails, is friendly, courteous and makes sure that the people who are being treated are the people who are talked to (not like other nail salons I’ve been to where the estheticians only talk to each other in a different language the whole time) Not to mention she did a GREAT job and the price was fantastic as well! This will definitely be my new go-to place for manicures and pedicures ????????????

Hands down my favourite nail spa in Lonsdale! I have been to a few others but I really love coming here. I even brought my mom here while visiting town and she was very impressed! The ladies are very friendly and they do amazing work!!:)

I'm a guy and I went there with my friend who wanted me to get my nail done with her I was hesitant at first because I was feeling shy but the people at nirvana nails made me feel very comfortable and were very nice and wonderful people to talk to and listen and despite the fact that I don't get my nails done I was very impressed and my friend who goes there regularly mentioned that it is by far one of the best salon she went to get her nails done .

They were very thorough in the job they did. I came in with very short natural nails, asked her to shape what I had (lol aka nothing) They made sure I was happy with my nails, checking in with me along the way. Very friendly, genuine and polite. Definitely felt spoiled and was able to fully relax! Clean establishment as well. Nothing bad to say! And I’m very particular! Thanks so much (My thumb is a little dry from life but her lines were clean )

Gel polish on my nail started to peel off 3 hours after they did a manicure gel for me. I had to go to a meeting with these nail, so embarrassing!!! I called them the next day (Sunday). They didn't answer the phone although their website was showing open. They called back on Monday, booked a time for fixing the nails for free.

GREAT pedicure. My second one. They fixed my ingrown toenail which I have been suffering with for years and I have no pain and I am just SO HAPPY with their service. Very accommodating, lovely people (both Loann and Betty!) Awesome prices AND color selections. Give them a try and you won't go anywhere else. AND they have parking too!
