I definitely highly recommend this place it is very welcoming, relaxing, clean, open and ventilated. Prices and quality beat every place in town. They use new and clean equipment. You can show them a picture and they will do everything they can to recreate the exact look or make it look even better. Kevin has been the best nail technician I’ve ever had touch my nails he has an amazingly steady hand. I am always happy with the outcome of my nails.

I've must have caught him on a bad day because that "Walk Ins Welcome" sign on the door should be removed. He was rude and made me feel like I was an annoyance because I didnt make an appointment. It's easy to say, I'm booked today would you like to make an appointment. Its not like it matters that I won't be returning. But Walk Ins are NOT Welcomed. Make an Appointment.

I had an appointment for 12:00, I walked in and told them I was here for my appointment I sat down and they asked me to pick a colour. I waited for an hour and they still weren't ready to take me because they were working on others. Normally like a 10 min wait is fine but AN HOUR that's crazy, very disappointed I will not be coming back. I suggest working on your time management skills.

GOLD STAR SERVICE AND QUALITY APPLICATIONS! For a while I would bump from nail salon to nail salon because I found when I became a regular client the quality of my service would decrease. That all stopped when I became a regular client of MK. From the very first time I went I have been hooked! Both technicians always have cared for the health of my nails. MK is quality and personalized fabulousness. If you are looking for a new nail salon run to MK, if you are disappointed with your current nail salon -run to MK. You will not be disappointed and the best part... you feel like you belong and have been a lifelong friend vs a new client

Great service and great quality nails. Sometimes a bit of a wait but they are very good at what they do and worth waiting for. I've had my nails done other places in North Bay and they never last as long or stand up to as much abuse. I clean and paint for a living so I need nails as strong as my hands and mk is the only place in town that can deliver on that! Highly recommend!

The male owner was the technician I got to do my nails but I didn't catch his name. He really took his time to make every nail FLAWLESS. He is definitely a true artist. I didn't feel rushed out even though they were all so busy, so that was great! I asked for something really out-of-the-box and not once did he make me feel like a weirdo;he was having fun with it! The atmosphere is very youthful and he was really cool. he took me the day I called which I was really grateful for but I would definitely recommend calling instead of walking in to make sure you get an appointment. My nails could not be more perfect than the way he made them. I will be sending all my friends!

didn’t file down my natural nail, used scissors to cut the extension, whoever did my nails was on fb messenger while doing my nails, and my bio gel that was $50 chipped after less than a week; not impressed and will not be returning or recommending to friends

I had a little bit of a wait but it was well worth it!!!! I am so so picky about my nails and I go pretty extravagant I had three pictures in mind and she was able to accommodate whatever I wanted!! Also, she was able to do so far surpassing my expectations for a nail salon in a small place like north bay and what I like ???? thank you so much this is officially my go-to place since moving here!!!

Visiting my daughter decided to get my nails fixed as they were wrecked from another salon. The young girl did a fabulous job on my nails. Was very friendly. My daughter had her nails done too the young man did very nice job on hers too. Then two days later we were back to have a pedi. Both our Pedis were great but the lady that did mine was exceptional very kind and gracious. I recommend this salon they don’t rush you out and are very friendly. I live in orillia and will come back to do my nails in north bay . Very happy with them.

So nice to meet these people. Super friendly and talked to you in English. My nails are beautiful. Unfortunately after a few visits I began to be treated poorly, spoken to with a hostile attitude and mocked in Vietnamese, while sitting in front of the nail tech. It started out respectful and friendly but really deteriorated the more I visited. Too bad,,,,there are people who would be glad for my business and friendly. To them I go.

Went to Kevin to fix my nails after a horrible experience going somewhere else with a friend. My bad!!! wont be going anywhere else EVER again. I'm tired of making an appointment only to have to wait because they take walkins just before my appointment. MK needs to do a better job of taking care of those that are respectful of the salon's time by making a booking, respect our time! Otherwise I love the job they do. But I shouldn't have to wait 15 min or more.

The first time I went to this salon the nail tech cut me, which happens so I gave them a second chance. This time I booked an appointment to get a manicure with my friend 3 days in advance. We arrived 10 minutes early so we could pick our colours. My friend was seated right away. I was left to wait. A walk in came in 10 minutes after we arrived and they took her first. It was 30 minutes before they started on my manicure. When I told my nail tech what I wanted she said no and that she was going to do something better. One of the other employees started yelling at her and she wiped off what she was doing and started doing what I asked. She also twisted my hand so far to file my thumb I was in pain. Final product was just ok.

I've gone to many nail establishments and this is by far THE BEST place I've been. Kevin is amazing! I'm notoriously hard on my nails and his consistently meticulous work always holds up to the abuse I put my nails through...lol:) I work with the public and often get compliments on my nails..I am always sending my customers to the salon. His salon is clean and very relaxing, the staff is always smiling and welcoming! They've definitely acquired a very happy and dedicated customer:)

Didnt have a great experience here! I paid extra to have that powder on my nails and it was chipping off the next day! My nails normally last at least a couple weeks or more when I go to cali. Did not even last a week! After spending $40 i was very disappointed. Everyone was friendly but was money down the drain.

I think very highly of your guys work however after coming a few times now I will not be back... my daughters nails and mine both chipped within 2 days of our last visit. As well I dont agree with the time management skills. When people call ahead to make an appt they should not be waiting over an hour and a half to get nails done. Not to mention I paid the same amount this time for just me and my daughter that I paid last time to get myself my daughter and her friend. Not impressed at all. Hope you guys manage your time better in the future

I've been going to MK for the past couple months, and refuse to go anywhere else. Kevin is amazing and makes sure that my nails are absolutely perfect every time. They have a great selection of colours with tons to choose from and new colours every time I go in. Very clean, overall a great experience every time and highly recommend.

MK Nails is my go-to nail place and has been for years. From prom night all the way into my university years I have stuck with MK Nails. They always make my nails look like I just spent 200$ on them when I really only spent 50-60$! So friendly and professional.
