I had a great experience at sweet escape. I had a facial and a head massage. Virginia is super kind and knowledgable about skincare. She looked at my skin and ended up giving me a custom facial as I wasn't sure if I should choose the aroma or acne facial. She ended up giving me an aroma facial with some purifying products. She did a great job on both the facial and head massage. She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I would definitely go again next time I come out to the falls.

Fantastic experience today! My mom and I did a little girls day. Mom had a facial and an Indian face and head massage and I had a massage! It was fantastic! Not the fanciest spa based on outside appearance but Virginia was very professional and did amazing treatments. The price is the reason we will be going back! It’s affordable for people who work hard and need a day to relax but don’t have $300+ To spend on a spa day. It’s easy to book online to see what they have available ! Definitely going back!!

I had a sore back and sleepless night from an over-soft mattress and pillows at our hotel. I was lucky and booked a couples session for the next day for myself and my husband. So glad I did. I am a manual osteopathic practitioner and greatly appreciate the level of skill Virginia has. Virginia managed to find every single tender and sore spot intuitively and I was revived for the 2 hour drive home. Thank you Virginia. We will be back when we visit Niagara again.

Beautiful place, Beautiful people, and excellent service! it was my first SPA experience in my life and couldn't have been better. The price is unbeatable when compared to other spa services in the area. I personally feel that this is a 5 star spa compared to other ones that are out there. why pay more for the fallsview or the brand. It should be about the service! 5 stars from me. we had Virginia and Diana for the massage :) Thank you again ladies. I will def visit again! *Highly recommended*

I came here for my birthday this passed weekend. Virginia was so prompt in getting back to me as Niagara had literally JUST gone back into red-zone and she made sure to get me in for my bday. Me and my partner booked the Mini Sweet Escape and it was lovely. The space is cute and the price was soooo right. My skin felt great after and it was such a treat to pamper ourselves. Products were very delicate - no post facial break outs... yay! Thanks so much! We will for sure be back :)

My hot stone massage was amazing!! I'd recommend it for sure. The spa itself is very tiny and in the creepyish basement of the hotel, but Virginia was very friendly and the services were wonderful! (Massage and body scrub)

Walking in, I was a little skeptical due to my expectation of a fancy spa... but i learned my lesson to not judge a book by its cover! My full body massage was incredible and very relaxing! Virginia was very sweet and made sure the pressure was not too much. The price was also amazing, lower than other places around. I would 100% recommend this place.

My mom and I went to sweet escape body and beauty spa to get pedicures done. We were both very disappointed with the job done and the service received. Upon entering the room we noticed that it was very unorganized and unkempt. The tools were laid out randomly and kept getting knocked into the floor during our pedicures. They were not cleaned off after touching the floor. The nail polishes they had to choose from all appeared old and tacky. The way the polish was applied was very messy and does not look professional at all. During the pedicures, both women continually dipped the orange stick into the nail polish remover which is used for all clients, then touched our feet with it and dipped it back into the same bottle. Very unsanitary. The woman who was doing my feet also had called me before coming in to bump my appointment back half an hour. I had no problem with this until she decided to LEAVE halfway through my pedicure to tend to her next appointment. I made an appointment just like everyone else and found it extremely unprofessional and rude to get up and leave and have someone else finish my toes. There were so many things wrong with the professionalism of this spa and the end result of both of our pedicures is barely satisfactory. I will not be returning and I highly suggest nobody go there for nail services in the future.

Absolutely excellent experience. My fiancé and I opted to purchase the Couples Retreat package (couples massage + mini fascial) and we both found it to be extraordinarily relaxing. The staff was extremely courteous and the facility was well-kept. A small, quaint business but it seems to be well run from what I can see. If you're looking for a nice, affordable massage in the Niagara Falls area, I would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning if I am ever back in the area.

Best facial ever! Mrs Loo is very professional and knowledgeable in terms of products and treatments. I have very sensitive skin, most of the face products I get irritation right away, but I absolutely love the product she applied on me named Yonka, very soft and hydrated. Aslo, she does excellent massage on my face and neck right to the pressure point. My skin felt totally refresh after the facial. Mrs Loo even taught me some home skin care tips. 5 stars Spa! Can't wait to try the body treatment and massage soon!

I had a wonderful experience! My husband booked the Romance for Her package so a I could unwind and relax while he took care of our boys. It was so relaxing! The facial was one of the best I had ever had with some acupressure and lymphatic drainage techniques included. The products used smelled great and felt good on the skin. The 1 hour full body massage was excellent! Virginia had firm pressure (although she could be gentle if need be on sore areas) and kneaded out my tense muscles after my strenuous workout this morning. She was very professional. The prices were very reasonable. To get the type of treatment I received today I would be paying a lot more back home. Next time I am planning to be in Niagara I will definitely book again!

I went to Sweet Escape for the first time with my gf few months back. We both got facials and we were thoroughly satisfied. So we went for the second time during the long weekend, and I got a RMT deep tissue massage and my gf got a different Yonka facial. Unlike last time, where Virginia asked us every so often throughout the massage to check that nothing was itching or irritating, and just making sure everything was going well. Not only that, before applying a different skin care, cream, or pack, she explained what was being administered and gave cautionary warnings (such as 'it might initially sting b/c of blah blah'). This massage session, however, not a word was spoken from Virginia and the RMT. For me, it was my very first time getting a RMT massage, let alone a Deep Tissue Massage, so I did not know what to expect. For the first 20 minutes or so, I didn't particularly feel any stretching of my muscles, but more like RMT just gently rubbing them. Considering my inexperience, I thought this was normal, but after some time I asked if she can massage deeper/stronger and only then she started to apply more force. Prior to starting the massage, she asked me if I wanted any area focused, and I answered my right trapezius is very tight and needs focus. This was not taken into consideration, for practically every part of my body was equally taken care of (same amount of time spent per body part). Virginia, this time, didn't explain any products that were being applied nor did she explain any process that she will be doing. My gf complained later, that one of the process where she applied some sort of cream was irritating on her skin, but didn't know better if that was a normal thing or not, so assumed to be an ordinary reaction. Not only that, our massage started at 5:40pm and my massage was supposed to be 55 min, and my gf's facial 60 min. My massage, however, ended exactly at 6:25pm, and gf's facial at 6:30pm which would've been fine if we had started exactly at 5:30pm. We were not late to our appointment by any means (arrived at 5:20 pm, and waited in Lobby until 5:35pm where the previous customers came out of the room). When my RMT finished the massage, she casually washed her hands and walked out of the room. Again, she didn't even have the courtesy to say that we are done. To top it all off, my RMT Massage was $90 and my gf's facial was $75, but Virginia uses a manual calculator which she typed in 90 + 80 and applied tax which came to $192.10 CAD. At the time of payment I thought that was correct, and only found out she added the $5 when my gf informed me her massage was supposed to be $75. Also, she gave out an invoice for RMT (since some companies have insurance coverage), which I checked later when I got home and saw that the date she wrote was 2016. I admit this is likely a mistake but because of that if I want to submit this invoice for reimbursement, I would have to request another one (she filled in the details in pen, not electronically). This caused a huge inconvenience as well. Please be mindful of these facts before you go in for a massage at this place! EDIT: Virginia contacted me, asked me about details, refunded me half the portion, and apologized. Good to see that she actively read the reviews and trying to rectify the situation. Went here for a couples massage with my bf. The massages were very thorough and relaxing. Only downfall is there are no showers to rid of all the oil on your body. Price is great compared to other competitors in the area. Would come here again!
