Awesome place. Salt cave is amazing and all other spa amenities are great.
Maybe a little gimmicky, but relaxing nonetheless
Never tried the Himalayan salt float. In fact, I have never done a spa, so I wasn't too sure how to relax. My skin felt great afterwards, and it was a unique experience.
Came in for a Swedish salt massage and a holistic for two people plus access to the salt cave. Wouldn't come again. Issues: Slow service Massage therapists don't apply alot of pressure or even ask if they can adjust it. It's more of a touch down full body massage. No place to leave your belongings, so you carry it everywhere. Don't give you any slippers. Can't even shower after the salt scrub Swedish massage, so you are leaving with salt on you. You have to be in your full clothes and take your belongings into the salt cave. You have to specifically request a RMT massage if you want to access your insurance and at this time they don't have a RMT massage person. Weird piano music playing everywhere which sounds so sad. Super expensive for the quality of service you get. 250$ later, I wouldn't come again.
It was a very relaxing experience! The cave was so peaceful I fell asleep, I knew it was workig because I could taste the salt and my body went numb... definitely reccomend!
Our massage therapist was awesome. The place is beautiful. We visited from USA. Prices was worth it ! Very clean
Fantastic customers service
Great experience
I bought the whole family. Their family rate on Thursdays is amazing! Staff was nice and I can appreciate the health benefits. On the downside I didn't find the healing salt therapy as relaxing as I would have liked because it was cold and I found the running water noisy. We were able to get a second blanket, which helped tremendously, but next time we'll have to dress warmer. We will try again.
Had a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I first went in the salt cave, then did the hand and foot detox, and finished with the infrared sauna. I felt so relaxed, grounded, less stressed, calm, and most importantly EWA (Eva) was so attentive to everyone, even through all the groups of people. I will be returning for services. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Came here for my 19th birthday. Had an amazing time! The massage was amazing and the salt cave was breathtaking! My only complaint is that during my hand and feet treatment the salt blocks under my feet became very cold and unenjoyable.
We did hand and foot detox. It was dirty because they didn't wipe or clean the salt slabs before us or after. Next guests put their barefeet on the slabs right after us. I oigia wanted to book float sessions but I wouldn't do it. I give it 2 stars because the staff was nice.
My fiance got me to go to this. I was a little unsure as I was thinking-I don't want to go to a spa. When I got there went into this cave full of Himalayan salt rocks with low relaxing music. An salt came out of a pipe in the wall and filled the air. We were told.to breathe through our noses as.it would clear out sinuses. We were also told it would be an aid.to many breathing problems for example can help asthma with reoccurring visits. It's not a one time heals all deal obviously. We sat in there for 45 minutes and then went to the sauna which is private. It's in a dark room with more low music an an the sound of a waterfall. The sauna is big.enoufh to fit two people. After 45 minutes in there then we enter to the next room where we sat in comfy leather chairs with our feet and hands on heated Himalayan salt rocks that were supposed to pull all the salt and toxins out of your body. So that was it. Not something I would do once a week but I found it to be very relaxing, affordable and got a really good sleep that night. Massages are also offered in the salt cave. (It's a room made to look like a cave)
They never answer phone .. annoyed
Great place to relax at a very comfortable atmosphere
I went today for the first time and had a lovely day. The staff was lovely. I started with a Salt Save Session (which I was lucky enough to experience alone as I was the only one in there), followed by the Infrared Sauna then a Holistic Massage. I left feeling great, can't wait to go back and see what the new location will be like!
We wanted something different to do for Girls Weekend and discovered the salt cave (Dorchester Location). We had a great service did the chilling in the salt cave and then another service with the detox and foot massage. The foot massage was amazing. It is not cheap but an overall awesome experience. The staff was informed and attentive. I recommend. Enjoy.
Really enjoyed the experience. Would recommend the salt cave combined with a stone massage as doing the cave, detox and sauna was a lot of just sitting. Friendly staff and nice environment. Would recommend owner put light above detox room on a separate switch as its disruptive having the light come on when in the sauna. Highly recommended.
The woman who helped me with my Christmas gift was wonderful.
Don't Bother Horrible all around to expensive waste of money fake I took my sister-in-law for a relaxing spa day. Got there and pure utter chaos. The lady at front desk was the worst customer experience I have ever come across. Got rushed into my room, and didn't understand a thing i was trying to tell her.She came back the the salt cave and said that we had to pay for the session when we leave and at that point proceeded to give us blankets. I wanted to explain to her that we had Gift Certificates but she doesn't respond to a thing I was saying. People kept coming in and out and that caused a disturbance all throughout the time we were there It is not worth the money I spent, to expensive, and I will never go there again! horrible customer service, and the Float was a pool of germs and bacteria, which there was only 1 Robe and not 2, even thou I asked her politely for another one. She said shed come back and never showed up. Save your money go elsewhere, I will never go there again worst time wasting experience. I could have gone for a nice supper and shopping. Enjoy that money you will never see me here again. Horrible experience.
Knowledgeable staff, variety of services and monthly specials, always leave feeling fantastic.
Came here with my boyfriend to do the float and salt cave. The floatation bath didn’t look as magical as the pictures, but I still had an amazing time. The cave was so cozy. I left there feeling super relaxed.
Great staff. Cool idea but people come in after smoking, leave their cell phones on, and come in smelling of crappy (patchouli) perfumes and keep talking and i only went 4 times.
It's a waste of money and time nothing about it is worth what I paid for.
We at GWC Inc. in Brantford loved the Healing Salt Cave in Niagara so much, we had them build us one for our spa 'GWC body' as well! They did a beautiful job, our clients are enjoying the healing qualities of the Salt Cave :) What a great company and kind family! Thank You! Heidi and Jola, GWC Inc.
Worse experience ever. Wife got me a gift certificate for two 25 minute sauna's bc she knows I love saunas. I go there and they let me into a machine they had JUST turned on. It took 20 minutes for the machine to warm up to anything warm let alone what should be at least 60 degrees which is a standard HOT sauna. I told them thats not the right way to do business. They gave me another session...but guess what, they did the same thing. I sat in there at 53 degrees and spent 25 minutes watching it go to 59 by the time my time was done. They just dont get it. Either they dont have a clue about their own machines...or they're just extremely cheap and dont want to use the electricity needed. Its one or the either, choose one. Edit: Today was my second session and they got it right finally, 60 degrees when I walked in. But clearly their staff dont have a clue about their own machines. I asked if it was at at least 60 before I got in and the employee tells me yes, it doesn't go over 60"...yet when I left 25 mins later it was at 62. They just dont know and under estimate exactly how long it takes to warm up these tiny machines they have. So maybe not 1 star. And maybe not the worst experience ever as I said earlier. Maybe 1 and a half stars, but Google wont let me so I'll round down. I'm just jaded this wonderful thing my gf did for me was ruined bc of someones incompetence this first go, then the second attempt at taking care of the first goof...and they made the same goof. Lol Terrible!
Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, unique experience
Try 30 mins in the infrared sauna and any sinus issues will be clear. Amazing experience. Clean and calming. This place is amazing
Lovely and relaxing.
I was visiting Niagara Falls from Surrey, B.C. when I came down with pneumonia on my trip. I attended the Salt Cave three times and I loved it. Very relaxing and salty.. the workers were very kind and helpful!
Loved this place, it was so relaxing. We will go back again for sure.
I love the sauna and the salt cave. It was relaxing, I have a great time.
Fantastic hands on treatment
Friendly and attentive staff. Good service. Facial was excellent. The salt cave clears out sinuses. Float was okay - the float room is dark and kind of creepy, so it's not for everyone. But good experience overall. The place needs a renovation and the spa playlist needs to be changed (sounded like depressing funeral music, which was distracting. This is not what you play at a spa. Please kill off this music forever. ????) Overall good experience.
Worth the experience not sure I'm a believer
one of my fav places to go
As soon as you walk in the door you already begin to feel calmer. Ewa and Daniella were very kind and accommodating answering all of our questions. The energy of this place is great. You will not be disappointed.
Relaxing and calming
The salt "cave" was ok but the floating salt pool, or whatever it's called was absolutely disgusting. There was hair/dirt and I'm sure other people's skin floating around everywhere. The concept is flawed right from the start, the entire tub which only has about 2 feet of water in it, is made of glass. The sides are glass too, with 90 degree glass corners. It's like a skating rink in there with getting in and out being very complicated and not very safe at all. There is a shower in the room, but soap was nowhere to be found. We did not complain or say anything, just won't be back. Wouldn't recommend at all. I think this place would be best served to remove this salt floating tub thing.....it's a public healthy and safety issue.
Amazing costumer service I haven't done yet the massage but the place speak by itself the front desk guy is really sweet and kind.
I went here for the first time today and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Ewa was extremely knowledgable and always made sure we knew what we were doing. I will definitely be returning! The salt caves were wonderful, and even though there were lots of people there, even the other customers were extremely respectful.
Great experience. Was a nice calming atmosphere. She gave us a tour of the whole place. Great customer service.
Great place to relax and open up my sinuses and bronchial due to alergies. Only did the cave but the rest of the facilities look interesting too
I had a amazing time experiencing the health benefits the salt cave can offer. I went in feeling under the weather and came out feeling absolutely incredible. Tammy Rigg performed reflexology on me as well as set me up in the salt cave. He knowledge and passion is nothing less than astounding and I look forward to seeing her again!
This was my first ever spa experience and it was worth EVERY cent paid. We did the salt cave session, sauna and hot salt rock massage and all were a 10/10 experience. All the staff are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Most definitely going to go here for all my future spa sessions.
Always enjoy the salt cave. First time trying the float. Ewa is wonderful
Relaxing, clean, and definitely cleared my lungs out. Made our skin super soft.
My first experience, I brought 6 of my friends where we all loved the serene experience of the Salt Cave. The owner was very knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of Halotherapy. This spring I have taken a membership and have come on a regular basis for nearly three weeks now and I definitely see a significant difference in several aspects of my health. Firstly, my sinuses are clearing up as well as the mucus in my lungs. I sleep better, probably because I can breath better and I also have more energy. I also feel my anxiety has been reduced. I have a background experience as a registered nurse and I strongly recomend the Salt Cave for an alternate healing therapy.
Friendly staff, clean
Pink Salt Float: came here for my friend and i's birthday. The water was lukewarm at best and we were getting cold near the end. The salt dries your hair out so much, and sticks and dries to your skin, but they tell you to not shower the same day which made the rest of the day unpleasant. We booked an hour and the woman forgot about us, and then when she came to get us, we were already out knowing it was past an hour, and she told us we were in too long. As if we were supposed to know what time it is while floating in a bath with your eyes closed? The bath itself was quite relaxing though. I would give the place another chance, but not at this location.
Avoid this place! Move on and try another spa. Their customer service is truly awful! I called to book an appointment and person on the phone didn't know when certain workers were available she said she would have to call me back, she called back because she forgot what treatment I wanted, again she said she would have to call the therapist and call me back. I gave her my availability which she also forgot. When she eventually called back with times, they were not what I had asked for, I told her my availability again and she said she would contact the therapist and call me back I told her not to bother. So then she proceeded to ask me about booking for a future date. I repeated that I was no longer interested in booking. This was my second experience trying to book. The person answering the phone had no idea what she was doing and was VERY rude!
We recently visited this beautiful place last weekend. I have never been to salt caves and my experience with this location was great. It was the weekend of their grand opening. My boyfriend and I visited along with two friends. We first did the detox where your feet and hands were placed on hot salt stones. It was actually so refreshing to the point where your feet and hands were light as a feather. The tingling sensation in your finger tips were explained to us and it was definitely 100% true. Then went onto the salt cave. We all fell asleep. It was that relaxing for us. One of the owners ,Patrick ,had shown us how beautiful the salt particles floated in the air while you layed in the cave. The great thing about this experience was that they actually informed you about their services and how it could benefit you, instead of throwing you in there without any knowledge of how and where the salt got here and how it benefits you. I can’t wait to go back ! For anyone that has negative comments for their experience, get informed of what you’re walking into when you go into a facility like this. It’s a wellness place. It’s a more natural way of Health. I cannot wait to go back.
Staff are well informed and invested in sharing knowledgeable information.
Wow!! Thank you! A few girlfriends and I had an amazing, relaxing time at the Healing Salt Caves. It was just what we needed during a quick getaway. The environment was wonderful. Ewa did a great job educating us on the benefits and what to do and she had a great sense of humour. This was such a refreshing experience. We did the Salt Cave and the hand/foot detox. If you are ever in need of relaxation, definitely check it out! I wish I lived closer as I would definitely get a membership.
I had a wonderful experience at the Niagara Falls location. Very clean and friendly staff! I felt SOOOOOO relaxed after my visit and would highly recommend to anyone ????
Had a gift card tried it out was ok
Please read before coming here. I booked a “spa” day for my bf and I for our 6 year anniversary. I was thinking that this was going to be a high-end relaxing, expensive considering the amount of money spent and I was wrong. I’ll start from the beginning.. We started with the sauna. We came in early as per the receptionists instructions on day of booking and our sauna appointment was supposed to start at 12:00pm. Unfortunately, another couple was using the sauna until 12:00pm so we were given the “smaller” sauna for my bf and I to both share. This was not a big deal because we are both fairly small, but if this was a lager couple I would not recommend. I felt a little uncomfortable as we were not explained how to use the sauna features or that there was a Netflix we could watch. We figured it out eventually and while doing so, we accidentally messed up the timer on the sauna. The lady said she’d come get us but never did, so I had to uncomfortably walk out to the main reception to ask if we were done and she said we were. We also weren't offered any water or any beverages which I thought they would have some water at the least. ( we enjoyed the sauna overall though and was given robes) Next was the salt cave. I don’t have really any complains whatsoever. I loved the salt cave. It was kinda chilly but I knew that ahead of time as per reading reviews. Bring warm clothing, socks. They provide you with a blanket. After the salt cave, we did the salt float… now this was awful. The room did not look as majestic as the photos. There was hardly any lighting, the red lights inside the pool were “burnt out” according the the receptionist but I seem to believe it’s because they don’t want people to see how disgusting the water is. We ended up shining our phone light and the water looked like it was full of hair, dead skin and a million of floaty things. We we’re disgusted. We felt like we were in a yucky unclean fish tank. We got out within 10 minutes of getting in. I’m attaching photos of the pipe inside the pool which was so disgusting and had all this disgusting stuff attached that was also floating around in the pool. I brought my own shower supplies as I read the reviews before hand. I do not know what I would have done if I didn’t bring soap, shampoo, conditioner as I needed to wash the disgusting water off of me. They do not provide any shower supplies at all, zero soap, zero anything other than a shower and towels. I would suggest avoiding the salt float. Not super happy with the experience we had. This should have been a relaxing, effortless, high end experience. I felt like it was uncomfortable, and we didn’t have smooth transitions to the next spa activity. I will not be returning unfortunately. It was definitely something to experience once, but it was not worth $300.
