I also would like to add that Shelena is one of the best threading experts in Niagara..threading shapes the contour of your eyebrow more so then waxing so if you haven't tried it..it's a must!!

Went for my first deep tissue massage with Nicole, was amazing, I felt so relaxed and gained a better movement in my neck, I was suffering from tightness in my shoulders and neck, Nicole was nice and strong, she was definitely able to penetrate the sore muscles and provide some instant relief, the usual sore bruised like feeling followed, but the tightness was gone. Did I mention the macrons ???? there was/is this April special. If you’ve been putting off a massage deep tissue or relaxation I recommend Athenas beauty spa. I may be a bit more biased because I’ve known Scott since the elementary school days, but the results and services speak for themselves! Once this lockdown is over there are other services available, lashes, brows, hair dressers, and nail technicians. It’s your one stop pamper shop :) Check it out ! You won’t regret it !

I also get massages with Jackie and she’s been very professional and also great at what she does. The spa offers a huge array of services to fill your day. Havent actually been in to get anything done. I drove to the spa, called and they said I wasn't in the system. No one called or emailed me back about my appointment. When she finally found my request she said we couldn't get anything done because they were booked up until next week. Would have been nice when booking if they said there availability or if they contacted me about it. Would like to go but am waiting until after covid.

I went for my first massage at Athena, and was blown away by their readiness, end efficiency when I arrived. I had forms waiting to be filled out for COVID and past history with health and at spas. Once my forms were filled out I went directly in with Jackie and had the best massage I have had of my life. She was very thorough, listened to my needs and followed through professionally. I will be back next week to see her again.

Athena's is a great place to spend some time with your friends/family or even just to treat yourself! I have been to Athena's multiple times for THE BEST massage I've ever had (and have sent multiple friends over the year, who all share the same feeling ????). The staff have always been extremely friendly and accommodating. I have also been for a mini spa day with my mom and daughter. The ladies who attended to my daughter were absolutely amazing, and made it such a special experience for her first many/pedi! We will be long time customers and highly recommend everyone to check it out!

BEST experience every time at Athena’s. Friendly and most importantly KNOWLEDGABLE staff. Have had previous injuries made worse by massage therapists who did not understand my needs but at Athena’s I feel brand new after every visit !! Never felt better in my life. Highly recommend Scott but his other massage therapists are great too. Comfortable environment and whether you are being worked on or just looking for a relaxing massage this is your place to go!! Will never go anywhere else.

Awful. Most painful experience I've had with waxing. The woman left wax ALL over me and tried to blame my skin when I stuck to the table. I spent 30-40 minutes trying to get the wax off at home. They also got wax all over my clothes. The woman was very rude and had poor "bedside" manner. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Everyone go somewhere else, there's cheaper places in St. Catharines with way nicer people

I got my eyebrows microbladed here and it was a great experience!! I was offered lots of numbing cream, the staff was very friendly and time efficient as well. The appointment was scheduled for 3.5 hours, but I was out the door before the 2 hour mark. I had Natalie complete my microblading and she did an amazing job. She was very social and friendly making the process as comfortable as possible!! 10/10 recommend and I can’t wait to try more services.

I spent 7 hours being pampered here for my birthday (massage, mani/pedi, facial, brows and lashes done) and the ladies were nothing but sweet and made me feel special! They all did a great job (: Even when my stubborn lashes wouldn't take the lash tint well, they didn't charge me full price. I'm definitely going back again and would highly recommend giving them a try!

I’ve been going to Scott for years now and he really is the best at what he does. A couple weeks back I noticed I was having some severe pains/tearing in my calves and shins running and working out at the gym and I didn’t hesitate for a second before calling him. In one session he had me back in pretty good working condition and in two I feel absolutely great during those 5k runs. But most importantly aside from the massage being phenomenal (albeit painful as hell, but I needed that), he also communicated the issues with my muscles effectively which has allowed me to keep treating them at home through various stretches and tools I could use to help with those stubborn knots. This has become an essential nightly routine to keep my legs and feet happy and healthy and feeling their best. Scott always conducts himself with the utmost professionalism and it’s clearly evident that his knowledge of the body and muscular/skeletal systems are vast. A few visits back I also had the absolute pleasure of being treated by Jackie for chronic tension in my neck/shoulders/and back. At one point I can distinctly remember with perfect clarity her picking up a knot in my upper back and with a simple pinch immediately feeling all the tension and pain release the entire length of the nerve. It was the most incredible and immediate relief I have ever experienced and I’ve recommended Jackie to others who have shared similar experiences to mine. I can’t say I’ve been treated by any other rmts at Athenas but I believe without a shadow of a doubt if they are anything like Scott and Jackie then rest assured you will always be in good hands, can’t say enough good things about this place.

A few weeks ago I booked a last minute wax appointment with Jenn at Athena Beauty Spa. This being the first time I've been here, I had an amazing first impression and have found my new spa! The ladies (Hannah and Jenn) accommodated my (super) last minute request and were so understanding when I was running late. Being greeted by Hannah was so warm and friendly which made me feel super comfortable and happy! Jenn was my esthetician that did the waxing and she was the absolute best at her job. She was friendly, professional, and knew her trade very well. I will now never go to another person or place for my beauty needs!!! A big thank you to Jenn for making me feel ready and beautiful for my moms night out! Right before leaving, I had the pleasure of meeting the spa's new owner, Scott. He introduced himself to me and was very friendly in conversing. He made sure to ask me if I was content with my first visit at their salon. Which I was... if you couldn't tell! What an amazing place to be !! - Athena spa has been apart of the niagara region for many years but under the new management/ownership of Scott Mcvey it’s a whole new world. (Not to quote Aladdin lol) the renovations are absolutely beautiful. The new staff is amazing. They all perform their jobs well and are professional, and kind! - I’ve received several amazing massages and a wonderful mommy and me day with my five year old daughter there! They treated her like a princess and I’ve always left feeling amazing! I truly recommend athena spa to anyone who wants any kind of esthetic, hair, or massage service. You won’t regret it!

FEELING LIKE A GODDESS!!!!! I just had the most amazing experience at Athena Beauty Spa. My sister and I wanted to take advantage of the February special and the experience greatly outweighed our expectations. From the moment we walked in the front door the entire team was following strict Covid-19 protocol while still being very personable and welcoming. Carol at the front desk is so lovely and our Registered Massage Therapists (Nicole and Scott) were fabulous. Nicole was very patient with me while reviewing my health concerns, and was very detailed in explaining the treatment protocol, especially now with all of the Covid 19 details. I also LOVED her customized playlist (It was literally acoustic gold). Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, Carol handed us a box of chocolate covered strawberries and I almost kissed her on the mouth I was so excited. All in all, this was the best spa experience I have ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO FEEL LIKE A GODDESS!!!! And lets be honest........you deserve it!!

Since it was my first time getting a massage, I was nervous... but they answered all of my questions and Jamie also suggested exercises to help my posture :)
