The whistling train comes through every morning between 1am-5am. The tracks were about 50 yards from the room. Bed was very soft. There is only a soda vending machine on site. This motel is not walking distance to town. Staff was very nice.

The view is absolutely gorgeous! The hotel needs some essential repairs as it's an old building.

Staff was super friendly and helpful also informed me that I could go to the Prestige lakeside Premium to hot tub and swim as the Inn does not have a hot tub and they helped us navigate the town as well would reccomend!

Very friendly and helpful. We had a power cut and they were right there if we needed flash lights. Lucky it wasn't dark yet so we just went out for a few hours. Our view was stunning, but the only downfall was a night time there was a train that went through but because there are no barriers at the crossing they have to toot their horn. Made me jump a few times haha but it doesn't last long. As long as you know beforehand this is a beautiful hotel. Definitely worth a visit.

This Prestige is not az expensive as the big one down by the lake, it's cozier & right by the 7 Eleven. I just wish they had rooms with jet tubzẞqaaàààààà

Great staff, clean rooms and a nice view of the lake from the back. Unfortunately the night train woke us each night around 2.30 am. Our baby slept through it each night but we couldn't use the provided ear plugs because we had to be aware of him. Besides that the location is convenient enough and it works.

It tries to be fancy... Not very well. Plus there's the train that'll roll right past your window at 5:30am.

Not the worst hotel in the world. Awkward design, stairs leading into our room. The location was good, 2 shopping centres nearby and a very nice, easy lake shore walk. A bit pricey for what we got, no breakfast included. May look for a different place next time.

When I stepped into my room I was actually shocked at how nice it was for an old building. I find most old hotels have old paint, old floors, old beds etc. Not the case here, it's been very well maintained over the years while still keeping the old hotel vibe. The absolute only reason they lose the stars is because of internet. The way you have to log into their WiFi is inaccessible to things like chromecast and apple smart devices because you have to log in through a browser instead of just punching in a password, which is not uncommon in hotels, but most hotels have a place to plug in your own router... (Review updated due to managers response, two starts was probably a little harsh over internet. Overall I would 100% stay here again!)

Nice room, clean and comfortable with the air conditioning. They had issues with under staffing though. There was a line up wait for check in because the rooms were not cleaned yet. They seemed very disorganized. We reserved for 4 people in one room. There were not enough towels for us. Zero ear plugs beside the sign where they were supposed to be kept for the train that passes at 3 am. They could only seem to get 2 key cards to work for our room at one time. The amenities are not really useable being so far away. It doesn't sound like far, but it is after a long day of travel. Bonus though, it's in between two grocery stores.

tiny rooms. poor parking. better than most 3stars

The room was decent, nothing extraordinary. It’s a little overpriced. Parking was ample. Building is old and can use some touch up or reno. Location was great as it’s near to groceries, lake and some attractions. Cleanliness was okay. Amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) can be enjoyed from their sister hotel (Prestige Resort) which was about 10mins walk from the inn. There was this Japanese lady receptionist (Yuki?) who made a difference to our stay, as she was super friendly and had good conversations with. We’re really pleased with her service.

It didn't feel very cozy, the beds were super uncomfortable, and the windows made the room feel very closed off. However, the front desk staff is nice, and the rooms are affordable.
