I have gone now a few times to Perfectly Polished. I've had gel nails done. My eyebrows, eyelashes tinted. As well as an eyebrow wax. Very convenient and easy access. It's a very modern and comfortable day spa. Sue is AWESOME!!! Does an amazing job. Along with being very thorough and efficient. I am always pleased with the results.

Even the owner Sue was friendly and considerate and I love that they use organic products!! Great experience today, I was in from Calgary and they fit me in! Pedicure was excellent, appreciated the feedback from the owner on the health of my nails and she also picked off that I have one leg longer than the other and guessed that I have hip pain, she was correct! I’ve never experienced feedback like that in a pedicure. I wish she was closer, I’d be a regular! Nelson is lucky to have her.

I got to tell ya, as a guy, getting a pedicure wasn't on my list of top five things to do today... pressure from my lady pushed me to do the right thing and I'm sure glad I did it now. I literally had the best experience with my Perfectly Polished pedicure. Thanks girls you made me feel very comfortable. Having another dude next to me was a bonus! By the way I booked a facial and a massage today too... I may be getting girly... see you next week, my new beauty team... lol

Very friendly place and enjoyable experience. However I paid $42 for manicure and the nail polish started to chip off within 48 hours. Had the manicure Friday afternoon and by Sunday it was chipping off.I am from Alberta and no longer in Nelson to have this issue resolved. I have never had this happen before. I know if I lived in Nelson area I would be able to get a refund or the owner would gladly redo the nails for me. Very disappointed with the results though.

Never go to this place!!!! I had a my nails appointment with Sue and it was the worst gel nails I ever got done. My nail came of third day. I was so disappointed. I called in their salon but staff was so so RUDE. I asked to redo my only one nail and they said they gonna charge me full price as both hands. Seriously guys never go to this place never. I told my all friends and relatives to do not take any services from this salon. Because my girlfriend had to face same problem with her nails and Pedicure.

Got my acrylic nails removed by Anujot. It was terrible! Literally filed my nails down to where there was nothing left causing pain in the nerves. Also hitting my skin a handful of times causing one spot to bleed. Definitely will not go back!

Absolutely tremendous service. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends. I required only a small nail repair while visiting from out of town. Anu made me feel so welcome. She took great care in assessing what nail products I had in place and choosing the best way to repair the nails I needed. She even apologized for not having enough time to do a full set of nails for me! I have visited a local spa/salon for nails in the past and I can attest the service at Polished was superior and the technician more experienced.

Came in to get my GF a gift certificate and decided why not get a quick brow clean up (gf and I had pics coming up) To my surprise the staff was amazingly friendly and courteous and detailed. The clean up looked amazing and the gf was amazed. Looking forward to my upcoming pedicure Highly recommend

My Review

The lady that gave me a pedicure was a very nice lady. However, I feel that if I am getting a service provided by someone that is not fully licensed or finished school that I shouldn't have to pay full price for the service. I understand that they have to learn somewhere but I shouldn't have to pay full price for someone not fully qualified yet to do the job. Perhaps offer a student service discount?

Took off half my nail bed, and my nails are as thin as paper and breaking apart until they grow back out. Aestheticians are not trained or registered, even though they claim to be. One of the staff members told me this while I was having a service done. I really didn't want to leave a negative review, but after hearing more horror stories from ladies who have had other nail and bikini waxing disasters, I kind of have to. My recommendation to the owner is to focus on quality of service, cleanliness and training. Best case scenario: hire someone with salon experience to come in and manage the place for you... you'd see a huge turn around in clientele.

DO NOT GO HERE!! 1) Booked appointments two weeks in advance. They called one hour before and changed the time to be right then, thankfully I was in the mall anyway. 2)When we got in, Sue was incredibly rude and informed my sister that she would be unable to do the nail design she had asked for because she would "need you to book more time" even though we had confirmed the manicure style on the phone. 3) Sue was incredibly rude to her student Anue, who was taking better care and doing a better job than Sue herself. She was rude to workers and her clients, as well as could not complete the services offered. 4) The manicure service was terrible; Sue couldn't do the requested kind (a simple French tip and a simple French ombre) it took over two hours, it was painful, the nails looked terrible, they broke almost immediately, and it was the most expensive manicure I've ever gotten. around 200$. This was by far, THE WORST experience I've had at a salon. I DO NOT RECCOMEND coming here, especially for nails. Sue should not be working at a spa. I appreciate Anue's care and kindness, she was a light in that spa. terrible ambiance. never going back.

I had laser hair removal several years ago BUT WOW. I was not expecting not to have any pain or discomfort and Sue makes you feel so comfortable with the whole process. I was shocked how fast she got it done and how painless it was! would definately recommend. They always have great deals posted on their Facebook page you can watch out for too. If you are waiting to get laser hair removal DON'T lol. totally worth it and Sue really goes the extra mile.

Positively polished hands down the best nail salon in town! If your ever in a tight jam and need a last minute fill & color Sue is your lady, even if you have a few nails falling off from other salons work she will take the time to fix them. It may be on the expensive side but when it comes to your nails you don't want the cheap stuff that other salons use, it can effect your health. Sue is my personal favorite, but everyone I have met is very personable, respectful & just fun to talk with.

did an awful job on my family members nails, she was in so much distress after the appointment, then i find out that the employee was joking about the situation to another customer, little do they know we personally knew the customer they were telling this to, what a nasty deplorable place, stay far far away unless you like the employees telling hurtful things about you to other customers, after leaving this review i was harassed for days by the owner over facebook messages attempting to get me to change my review, not only am i not changing my review i have also told all my friends and family to avoid this place at all costs, incredibly unprofessional to say the least

Nice ladies and it was clean. At the beginning of our service the owner said that our polish would last as long as Gel (which is what I always get for the same price) and both of our polish started chipping off after a week. I’m going in to get them redone and it hasn’t even been two weeks. Sadly won’t be going back for a pedicure.

Very cute, modern salon. 10/10 would highly recommend seeing Roz for any and all services. Her brow waxing skills are amazing. She has managed to clean up my eyebrows in a way I never thought possible! I’ve never been dissapointed with her work. Not to mention she’s hilarious and always keeps me laughing while she works on me!

I got my nails done yesterday and was shocked by the price for a shellac change. They charge $57 for something that I get done in Calgary regularly for $21 at a nail salon. And this did not include a manicure... As well the colour is not even close to what the sample shows. I spoke with friends afterwards and they suggest numerous other places that do the same for WAY cheaper. I won't be returning or recommending to others.

Pricing on the Facebook page is different then what I was charged. I had sue, and she was incredibly rude. I was very surprised! And then she proceeded to talk poorly of her employees, including demeaning them and insinuating that they aren't good at there job (why do they work there then?)It made me uncomfortable and I will not be returning.
