Friendly staff and great work on nails. But, the last time i got my nails done the black nail paint chipped the next day.I have a big event and now i don't have time to get them done. I hope they get rid of such nail paints.

Was happy enough with appointment but was wondering why a teenager was doing it. It took a long time but she was nice and sweet, but then it came to $68.25? I was thinking that this was a 50$ pedi. I read on brochure and I can’t see how that was the price and I was told gel is 15$ extra ???? but no where did it say that. Then I got home needless to say I should have stayed home and got my own daughter to paint them. They are out of the lines a bit and some gel was missed on big toe on my right foot so it was definitely not worth my time and money to have left home today???? I feel taken advantage of and ripped off. This is of no way to hurt the girls feelings I just don’t think I would have booked a pedicure with a teenager for 50$ let alone 68$ maybe 25$. I read the reviews before I went too, wish someone warned me????

Got a new acrylic set from them, told me it would be $55 when I called them when I showed up it was $65 but I ended up paying $75. The girls working didn’t acknowledge my friend or I and while my set is okay, my friends gems are crooked and the technician cut her multiple times. They told me mine was so expensive because of the French tip style but my friend got a regular a acrylic painted black with a few gems and hers ended up being the same as mine which makes no sense. The building is beautiful and the decorations are lovely but the service we received was mediocre at best.

I’ve been going to Posh Nails Spa practically since they first opened, and I legit would not go anywhere else. Their service is amazing and the girls are so talented. I get my pedi’s, nails AND lash extensions done at Posh and I’m honestly never disappointed. 100% recommend experiencing this amazing salon.

At the price ($105- $145 ) a set, I expected very good quality and service. Unfortunately, the tech who did my eyelashes didn't start the session by asking me what kind I wanted, or showing me model sets , after I asked about what lengths she recommended (her English wasn't passable, I don't think she understood) she showed me the lashes in her equipment box. I said ok, whatever you recommend. The scotch tape that was used to hold my bottom lashes out of the way was applied to tight, and cut into my eyeball so my right eye was tearing badly. After a few minutes, I told her she had to move the tape because it was making my eye tear (literally tears running into my ear) so she pulled it off, hard and wow. After an hour and a half she said we were done, but there are significantly fewer lashes on that side. I asked the manager/ owner if she would discount the service because my eye is so red, runny and irritated, and she said absolutely not. Avoid this place!

I get my nails done here every couple weeks by Anne. She’s always ready for my over the top nails and requests. I get very long nails and she’s impressive at both shapes I’ve had. The salon itself is really bright and has a nice energy. I’ve gotten my lashes done here as well. I got a hybrid set and was absolutely in love with them.

I got my nails done for my wedding (extensions for the first time) and I love them! The technician did such a great job, and really paid attention to detail!! I'm a newby when it comes to nails and they were so patient and let me ask all my questions! The only reason I took 1 star off, was because they knew I never got gel extensions before and they didn't really run me through the process, or mention that my nails may feel like they are burning.. I had to bring it up and ask if it was normal. But, I'm still SO SO pleased!!!! I'd deffinetely go back!!

It was alright, the nail tech I had, she wasn’t very friendly at first, gave her freedom to be creative and she just shrugged it off. You need to choose something… I was disappointed on the onset. And it was a bit pricey. Considering customer service wasn’t the greatest. However, the end result the nails were nice.

I went to this salon last month for the first time, i asked about prices and picked the Mini pedi. This was my first time here and wasn't sure what to expect. When i went to pay, i was charged for the full pedi, i brought it up at the till and nothing was done. I figured i would try them again and booked an appointment for both my daughter and i, i told the technician we wanted the basic pedi, my daughter clarified the $40 one, again at the till i was charged for 2 full pedicure, after clarifying what i wanted before they started. The girl ringing us through did not offer any explanation. I will not be going there again because of this sales tactic, charging people for the longer pedi when that is not what is booked. The technician applied a second coat of polish before the first coat dried and it looks lumpy and incomplete. Try at your own risk!

Took myself and my sister to get pedicures 3 days ago. We booked for the deluxe pedicure and only got the basic one. The lady who did my pedicure was friendly, but was having a hard time drying the polish. This is supposed to be gel, I’ve been other places and had a way better experience. If you want your pedicure to last, I don’t recommend going to posh nails, they over charge for the quality received.

My nail tech was very nice and the spa is nicely decorated and clean. However- the bill ended up being much larger than I expected because they charged me for extra things but didn't let me know first. One of my nails ended up longer than the others and they weren't nicely smooth like I'd expect for the price. They were Good- but not great.

So i don’t know what happened but when I started getting my nails done, the tech takes a drill bit to my bare nails and then cuts them all off without asking or saying anything and brought out false tips. I realize she thought I was getting acrylics (I booked for a gel set). She then just got up and walked away without saying anything and started on a new client. I’m surprised they didn’t check to make sure I was the right client or even apologize and own up to her mistake. The tech who ended up doing my nails was fantastic and so gentle! They ended up really nice and she fixed the shape. Unfortunately now my nails are brittle because they weren’t prepped properly. Still love their pedi’s.

My friend booked us in for nails as we wanted to have a girls day. First of all my lady didn’t even talk to me or say hello and I don’t even know if she speaks English. The entire staff looked so unhappy. The environment was uninviting. I thought nail salons were supposed to be fun? My mistake because this place is like an institution. My nails are lifting ALREADY it’s been less than a week (3 days) I do not recommend. Avoid

Wow, an amazing place. I've been going to Sarah for about 2 years now and that friendly smile I get , ( even with her mask on ) makes me feel very delighted to be there. When I have trouble finding my right SPARKLE color, she always lets me try it just to be sure I'm happy with it. Well today was a total different scenario. I chose no SPARKLES but the most Beautiful light pink ever... Thank you so very much Sarah for looking after my nails and making me feel so good about myself. I look forward to my next nail appointment and for our continued friendship. :)

Went in for a set of acrylics and paid way more than these nails are worth! $84 later I’m leaving with lumpy nails of all different shapes and lengths. Asked if they could do marble nails and they told me they could only to end up with accent nails with harsh grey lines through them. Even she knew they looked bad cause she had someone else finish my nails. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’m genuinely embarrassed to have these nails on my hands...

I’ve been going here for over three years. While some of their techs are good, the last few times I’ve been disappointed with the gel manicures. The last time I went in they asked me to move my feet while they vacuumed under me. Not so “posh”. I thought I would try them again. I booked online - like I always do- then after 15 minutes some tech that I didn’t book sat down to do my nails. That was AFTER my daughter said something. I told her I didn’t book with her. I realized I’m not spending money there anymore and will find elsewhere to go. For the money My daughter and I have spent there, the customer service is terrible. Would not recommend. Ww

I’m new to Nanaimo, moved from Vancouver, and was drawn to the location and clean appearance compared to other salons here. This was quite deceiving. The first time I was given a shellac manicure here my nails started to chip after only 2 days. The second service a month later was a shellac pedicure and the price was out of this world. $65 for a shellac pedicure?! Not even Vancouver has these obscure prices. This wasnt even OPI quality ( which they do not offer in shellac). My gf who was with me ended up wanting a shellac manicure but the technician filed her nail down to the point where it hurt to touch and she wasn’t able to go with her original choice. No sorry. No compensation. She ended up getting a regular manicure... again, price was more than any comparable Vancouver salon I’ve been to for a basic mani. The next day most of her nails had chipped. Absolutely would not recommend this place.
