WARNING- (DermaEnvy's response to my review is false, I reached out to them like they asked 3 times in the past 3 weeks and no one has responded or gotten in contact with me.) -They call it Laser hair removal but it isn't a professional laser but an IPL. - 5 out of 8 of my visits the IPL machine blow a fuse. - I do not believe they are trained since every time I asked a question their reply started with "Well this is what I read on the internet..." - Once they forgot to change the setting when changing to another part of the body and it really burned. - Over $1500 with no results then they blamed me (I was told I have the perfect skin and hair type for this and I followed instructions to the T.) - I had to prepay for multiple visits at once, then I was told I ran out of them and had to buy more when I still had more visits already paid for. They would not refund me for the visits I didn't receive. - Last thing they told me was to come once a week and to buy another package... (don't waste your money like I did) Since then I have went to a spa with a real laser and have been having great results. The instructions a DermaEnvy were misguided by people's opinions on the internet. Please go somewhere else where the people actually know what they are doing.

Although the staff was friendly enough, and the clinic always seemed clean enough the overall experience is rated at 2, because having done laser (Brazilian) at two other clinics I am disappointed in the area that was covered. (or lack there of) and although the results were good for me in the areas they treated I am left with looking for other options to finish the job. So when you see the laser sales be aware that although the prices are good your paying for a service that I did not feel was fulfilled(as per my experience in other clinics) and I have the clear lines of hair to prove it.

I am giving 2 stars simply because i do understand that sometimes things are out of our control and for the promptness of email communication- however here is a date by date events - January 19th: emailed to see if they accept wayspa gift cards- assured they did and thus scheduled an apt, which was rescheduled by me to March 1st. - March 1st: take the afternoon off work to go to my apt only to get there and find the space empty. The person was sick (happens) but no contact was made to let me know or anything, i sent email- promptly returned, apt rescheduled to March 19th - Today, March 19th, present myself to the place, only to be told that they no longer accept the gift cards, apparently since yesterday Well disappointed to say the least, i will go back to my regular spa where I know I will get my service.

The building was a little hard to find, even with GPS. I was there for a consultation and arrived early, so I had to wait a little bit until my appointment. The consultation went very well and I went ahead and booked the service. I'll update my review once I've had a couple of sessions under my belt.

Edit July 2019: Meghan is gone now it seems like? I'm scheduling an appointment for Wednesday, I hope I can leave 5 stars up as I had great experiences with Meghan, now I'm not sure which to pick from the new girls, but I'll update this if it was a sub 5* experience. If I don't update, then still a 5* salon, at least for hair removal purposes.
