This place got a significant upgrade since I've been there years back! Nice clean areas with traditional Russian banya, Sauga and eucalyptus infused steam room of hamam influence. Plenty of room to rest and lounge, hot tub and ice cold pool to finish the picture. Adjacent restaurant with beloved items of home Eastern Slavic cuisine is welcomed bonus. Nice place, would absolutely recommend!

Truly unique experience. Hot, well maintained Banyas, Saunas and Steam Room. Kept clean and sanitary. Amazing food at the Resto/Bar. Try the spicey vodka! The whole place is more than the sum of its parts. Walking thru the doors feels like you are stepping into another world. Cycling through the hot banyas, ice cold plunge pools, cold barrels, salt room, steam rooms and rest/bar/doning areas makes for a really fun adventure. Totally family friendly. A perfect relaxing time. The Russians make great hosts!

The space is great however cleanliness is down. Floors extremely watery and never maintained during operating hours as before. Place looks a bit neglected. Requires more maintenance for safety and hygienic reasons. Nice restaurant on site however not the best quality of food.

Today was the third time that my fiancé & I visited Steamul and each time we loved our experience! The staff is really friendly and helpful. Overall, great spa that has many saunas, a steam room, a hot tub, cold plunge pool, cold buckets to dump on yourself, many lounging areas, a salt cave, restaurant and also 2 private rooms that you can rent during your stay! When we come we really enjoy sipping on some tea and relaxing after a hot sauna or steam room session! Also, the chiburek from the restaurant is very tasty! Definitely worth the money and very enjoyable on any day! You will be seeing us quite often here :)

The best sauna establishment in GTA! There are 3 Russian sauna, 1 Finnish & 1 steam room! Very big seating area! I love the Cold Plunge Pool (-8C)! There is a big kitchen & a bar!! You can enjoy Russian home made food! Russian Beer is available in Bottles! Draft beer is also available! Russian TV) It’s a great sauna retreat for those who love sauna! And It’s a could be a great cultural trip as well! 30$plus you can get experience you will never forget!

NOT coming back! We have been visiting this Russian sauna for almost 7 years and enjoyed our time there before, almost every time had a dinner with homemade food. We were coming almost every week until today, when Roman (owner) came to us during our dinner and told us that we overstayed the limit of time that they have ( 4 hours ) now. We were shocked! We never stayed more than 4 hours anyway and spend one more hour at their restaurant where not so many people were sitting and having food. We think this is a not proper customer service especially to regular customers like us who paid full price for sauna and restaurant every time we come there. Looks like that business became very good and they do not care about regular clients anymore!

As far as the Russian Banya goes, and the cold tub, it's probably the best in the city. It's also large and spacious, so even when it's packed you can get a good sweat in. The kitchen and decor aren't the top, preventing it from being my #1 go-to. It's a shame its sister in Richmond Hill is nowhere close to the same quality.

Been going to this sauna since day 1. The sauna its self is nice but the prices for food are rediculous, i understand they are making good money and dont care any more, but a main dish of cutlet and buckwheat costs 20$?! Are you serious? When it just opened the prices were half of that. They also made homemade chebureks for as long as i remember and now they selling microwaved frozen chebureks from the grocery store for 12$ and a spoon full of sourcream for an extra dollar????. We used to come here just for the kitchen but now the food is over priced and not as good. Also now there is a 4 hour limit in the sauna/restaurant. Used to be so much better before...its sad watching the administration trying make money from every little thing.(Thats how they will lose their regulars, i can see already there is not as many people coming anymore because everything is overpriced).Family owned buisnesses should cherish their regulars.Russian/Ukrainian mentality...make more money! And not care about anyone or anything

Truly a "Banya" experience! Mostly catering to the eastern European sauna experience, you're welcomed to hot wet/dry saunas, buckets and pool with cold water, and a restaurant that serves many Russian and Ukrainian classics with a homemade appeal. From my visits I've met people from all backgrounds and walks of life, some were referred by friends, others from their stellar TripAdvisor reviews. The staff is very accommodating, and the array of couches, lounge chairs and drinks makes sure that you have an lasting relaxing experience! The facility is clean, and the owner is often around. He carea,and it shows! Will visit again, and again!

Do not be misled by 5 stars that someone rated it - this place buys their "likes" for $5. This is russian-like banya. It has a steam room and two sauna rooms with dry hot air - one with temperature 100°C, the other one has 120°C maintained constantly. The premises are clean and tidy. They offer free tea of 6 kinds. They also serve food cooked on their kitchen. Admission is $35/person. Everything would be just good, but there is one big NO. From some moment I go there very rare and here is why. A couple of years ago I came to them - it was my about 5th visit - and saw their ad: they sell 10 visits in bulk for less price $250 (one visit cost $28 at that time). They (Roman, owner) noticed my interest in it and as insentive proposed I can bring a guest for each my visit if I buy 10. So I bought the pass. They gave me a card with magnetic stripe on it - each time I come I show this card and they decrease by one the number of visits that is left. After I brought one guest, they changed their mind and said I can bring a guest only tree times, not 10 as they promissed. I was not dissapointed too much, because I come not too often. I did not go to them for about 8 months. When I came again (with a guest), but Roma has cancelled all my rights to bring any guests. He explained it: we do not provide this promotion any more. My objection, that he already sold this deal for me long ago and cannot cancel it back, he just smiled - he is the boss and can do whatever he wants to do. But this is not the end. I decided to use my about 5 visits left as soon as possible and started coming more regularly. Once i am coming and I remember that I have 2 visits left, I am giving my card to him and he informs me I have one visit left only. They had stolen one my visit! I tried to ask why, but they even did not want to listen. But this is not the end also. I stopped using this sauna at all and started go to other one. People in a sauna often chat and share their experience about saunas they visited. And, can you imagine, TWICE I met people, who independently told me the same story (before I said a word about my experience with this sauna). So, when going there, be aware of Russian theives - they deceive visitors who buy many visits at once and do not keep their word. Currently I go to other sauna, Korian Sauna (you can find it on the map: 382 Magnetic Drive Toronto, Ontario M3J 2C4), it is much cheaper: $20/person and offers better service.

Steamul. Sauna is one of the best saunas in Torobto and GTA. The two Russian Banya sauna rooms are the best for the real relaxation and the experience. The local restoran is great with wide variaty of Eastern-European dishes. Also there is a system of discounts based on the number of visits per week. I recommend everybody to visit Steamul Sauna!

I was nervous the first time I went, but the staff made me feel welcomed with a tour and answered all my questions. They have different temperature saunas and banyas for what ever temperature you like. I like it hot and sometimes the gym sauna doesn't cut it, but the banyas at Steamul are more than adequate. I liked it so much, I invited friends to come with me the next time and we plan on going again.

Ive had the priviledge of being a guest at Steamul Sauna, being my first time at a Russian-Sauna I had a great experience here. The place is extremley clean and the staff is attentive & friendly. Not only did I get to enjoy the spa facilities but I was able to sit down and enjoy some ethnic-Russian food. For the time being I felt like a true Russian. I would highly reccommend this place to new-comers looking for a nice relaxing evening.

All our guests - 14 people - were very happy with service, saunas and food. They have about 5 or might be even more different types of saunas and it's up to you to select warm, wet or hot one. The banya, steam room, sauna, and water treatments were a super relaxing and refreshing experience but the salt room and restaurant are worth raving about. Hadn't been to a Russian spa before but I was really satisfied. Several dry saunas, a steam room, cold pool, hot tub, showers and buckets of cold water to dump on yourself, as well as several towels for cost of admission, and a bathrobe one can wear in the restaurant or while relaxing. Coed common area was great and I went with a party, which was really fun. I didn't eat at the restaurant but people in my party said they were impressed by it. Definitely want to go back and would recommend to friends.

Place to experience!!! Traditional Russian food and saunas, a steam room ( with real steam, not like any other places that have almost no steam), and great pool with real cold water, that allows you to experience the benefits of the contrast between hot and cold. There is no better place in Canada period. Let me know if you find better place for the value.

$40 to get in, that in itself attracts a certain clientele. 2 of the 4 saunas are great, like nothing you've ever experienced "outside of Russia". The folks who frequent the place take having a sweat very seriously. If you're new & take a liberty or two, such as increase the steam, you're liable to get your head chewed off. If it's your VERY first time, remember to ask or look for slippers, otherwise you'll singe the soles of[f] your feet. Not a place to meet people or make friends, but stay out of everybody's way & you may even want to revisit the place.

I've been consistently going to Steamul Sauna in Mississauga for the past 9 months or so almost on a weekly basis. Whether you are looking for a unique Eastern European (Russian/Ukrainian) cultural experience, or you're looking for a wide selection of saunas with varying temperatures, this is a place I would very highly recommend. This place features two Banyas (traditional wet saunas) heating with rocks and wood stoves), two Finnish Saunas (dry saunas with a bit less heat), multiple cold water drop buckets, a freezing cold dunk pool, multiple shower rooms, a Turkish-style Hammam (steam room) and a Salt room. Throughout the facility there are relaxation areas and lounge chairs, and they provide towels and a robe with the price of admission. They have many amenities and features to take advantage of, and you can tailor your entire Banya/Sauna experience right at the front desk - with different accessories available to purchase for great prices that will enhance the experience. Customer service is top-knotch and the prices are the best I've seen in the city for what you get. They also have an incredible, unbeatable pricing structure for those who choose to visit multiple times in the same week. To top it all off - Steamul has an on-site "family" style restaurant offering a wide selection of delicious Eastern European comfort food, beverages, snacks, and alcohol for those looking to indulge. A great place to enjoy some post-Sauna food and drink while relaxing in your robe. One last service that is worth mentioning because it's that little "extra" touch that elevates the experience - they offer a selection of free tea to enjoy in-between sessions or while relaxing in the loungers - ranging from herbal to green, and of course drinking water throughout. I've tried many of the spa/sauna experiences in the GTA and this place has quickly surpassed them all foe the reasons mentioned above - their attention to detail, amazing customer service, wide array of amenities, and incredibly reasonable prices.

Watch out--at times they throw your robe in the laundry bin and you have to pay an extra $5.00 for a new robe. Is this a way to squeeze extra money out of your customers? 4 hours stay limit, plus the food is a bit expensive--makes it hard to keep coming back. Good amenities, but the staff comes off insincere and even rude at times.

First time visit yesterday. Been trying to get rid of a cold/flu for the last few weeks and was looking for a sauna to get some steam. Found Steamul Sauna on the internet and saw the reviews. I was going to be in the area so I decided to drop in. The facilities were clean and orderly. After my first visit to the steam room, I sat in one of the lounges to cool down. Right away I could feel the difference! Just like taking a mini vacation. Spent a couple of hours there trying the different rooms. I wish there were more of these places around! Definitely going back again and again!

Be aware of this place !!!! Went there today with my buddy and there was robbery , they took my personal belongings , the other guy was left without the wallet and his new phone. They didn't take our cash money , so we assume they were looking for something else. My friends car was searched as well, cause they left the light on and put the car key in the different pocket . Make sure you don't bring expensive staff with you. The staff wasn't helpful at all. Stay away !!!! Take my advice !!!!

Come on, 4 hours should be more than enough, it is not a club where they can jam hundreds of people. This is tiny place. Have some respect to those who want to spend their time in sauna.

We have been visiting this place for a long time now. Absolutely lovely place, high quality, we highly recommend it to everyone! Great facility, very clean. The only "complaint" is that the website and staff do not update customers on their current vaccine protocols. We respect any business that follows Ontario health guidelines, and we are more than happy to comply, but when we last called the sauna and visited the website to make sure nothing has changed there was no indication that a vaccine passport is now mandatory. Please update your website and keep everyone up to date with your guidelines. Other than that little hiccup, everything is wonderful, think you for your service!

I feel this whole covid thing is terrible and very difficult for saunas but I believe that saunas will benefit and get rid of symptoms keeping us detoxified, healthy and strong to combat any conditions. This place should be open for business. We miss it alot. Shame on the health board for not allowing you to open. Not to mention the great home cooked meals. So comforting !

After learning about the health benefits of regular sauna use, I decided to look around for a place to go. Steamul Sauna came to my attention because of its great reviews. I have been going there now for the past 3 months, 3 to 4 times a week, and loving it. There are 5 rooms, including 2 Russian banya rooms, 2 Finnish dry sauna rooms, and a Turkish style steam room. They are all meticulously maintained. And there is enough room to spread out, lie down, and fully take in the experience. There is also a cold pool which is a great contrasting experience. I've heard the food is also great, but haven't yet taken the opportunity to try it. The owners, Roman and his son, Igor, along with the other staff are really terrific and personable, and care deeply about providing a superior experience for their guests. In summary, a great place to experience the benefits of sauna use! 5 stars
