I experienced my first ever facial with Michelle and it was honestly so amazing! I'm a naturally introverted person so it's hard for me to be comfortable in social situations, but Michelle made the facial extremely comfortable for me through explaining every step, finding commonalities between us so the conversation wasn't uncomfortable, etc. Not only that, but she's extremely skilled and left my skin feeling extremely smooth afterwards. Would 100% recommend.

Found this spa from groupon. I called to book my appointment for Jan but there was no availability until March...as they take groupon bookings on some specific days. The spa is quite hidden so you have to pay attention to the sign by the road. On my appointment day I was required to come about 10mins before time as I was a first time client and needed to fill a health form. I got a body scrub & deep cleansing facial for about $52 (thanks groupon) Which is usually about $140. I enjoyed every bit of it. It was relaxing, my skin was happy & my face was glowing. The staff was nice & answered all the questions I had. I will definitely recommend this spa

I love this place! My first ever experience was with natalie and she was amazing, she took her time with me while doing my brazilian waxes and it always came out flawless! but unfortunately because of her schedule she did not offer waxes anymore and i found another amazing esthetician which was michelle! Although i miss nathalie... michelle is amazing and i have never regretted switching since. michelle is quick, neat and very very friendly she really takes your mind off of getting waxed. Before you know it your done in less than 15 mins. her work is flawless and perfect every time she's always opened to answering questions if your a first timer and knows how to make you feel comfortable through every session. I'm never going anywhere else!

My mother had been set up with Jessica for a 30 minute massage, but after 20 minutes, she said "you can go". My mom was very unhappy because Jessica did not even give a proper massage - and she didn't even do much in the 20 minutes. My mom complained to the front desk & the secretary was very nice about it. Not too long after, my mom received a call from the OWNER apologizing for the bad experience and REIMBURSED her with a 60 MINUTE MASSAGE with Sukhi - who was very good, she made sure my mom was comfortable during the massage. My mom was very happy with the service afterward. And we would surely recommend Havens MediSpa if you get the right masseuse. I went for a body scrub as given with a groupon from a friend on the 13th of June it was a delightful experience with Jessica. She was very friendly, respectful as in asking if it was okay to do my stomach, and considerately asked to ensure I was comfortable throughout the experience. I find it is a very clean eniviroment and tranquil with music my skin felt luxurious after so definately would return for another treatment!

I saw Natelie for my first full Brazilian yesterday and I am absolutely obsessed with her. I had a very bad experience at the first clinic I went to and what a difference. I instantly fell in love with her. She is very caring as she was taking her time with me. She worked through the waxing very slowly. This was one of the worst, if not THE worst, facial experiences in my life. I am a skincare junkie and I am very knowledgeable on the subject (educationally and practically) so I know when I am receiving a quality treatment. On a random whim after seeing a Groupon ad, I decided to cheat on my usual spa. Surmise to say I basically had my face destroyed. The aesthetician used a blackhead tool all over my face; yes, she scraped my ENTIRE facial dermis with a blackhead tool. I had one large cystic pimple on my chin and she squeezed the living daylights out of it and proceeded to poke at it again with the blackhead tool citing the fact that she had to completely empty the pimple until it produced “clear liquid” (a good facialist would have left it alone). The entire experience was painful and not at all relaxing. At one point I had even questioned leaving the establishment. They did not use any name brand products (most of which smelled funky) and the aesthetician did not use gloves while performing extractions. The spa looks like a retail unit, and the rooms were not relaxing whatsoever. You definitely get what you pay for - absolute waste of $50.

I had a Brazilian for the first time today with Roma and I had a wonderful experience! Not only was she efficient, she was also very informative with regards to pre-care and post-care. Also, during the session she explained everything she was doing which made me feel really re-assured and calmed my nerves. Have been coming here regularly now for 4-5 months for my facials. Got a chemical peel done this time with Michelle and she was fantastic! Was so friendly and enthusiastic, she clearly loves her job!!! She explained the process every step of the way, was gentle and tough when she had to be! ( damn you blackheads!!) She knows how the products make you feel, and she prepares you perfectly for it. Word of warning, the chemical peel BURNS!!!! Michelle was well prepared and had a little fan handy, which she fanned over my face and the definitely helped with the burning. She also explained the after effects, the after care routine and everything else I need to do to take care of my skin. But I love the after effects of the peel, my skin is so clear! A lot of my breakouts have subsidized. Once again, really happy with my Havens experience and super happy with Michelle!

I've had really great service here but unfortunately my appointments are too frequently cancelled or rescheduled. It's unfair to me that I plan weeks in advance and get a call minutes before my scheduled appointment to "come back later" or reschedule for another day, and can't even reschedule until WEEKS later! My husband had bought this as a gift for me at Christmas. Had totally forgotten about it till last month when I called to fix an appt. They managed to give me an evening appt which worked well. My Groupon was for a deep cleanse facial & body scrub. Had to wait about 5-10 minutes before I was taken in, but post that, it was bliss. The room was as expected and the music was quite soothing. Michelle was simply awesome, she did such a fantastic job giving simple tips about how to take care of your skin. I truly felt so relaxed at the end of it and would definitely recommend. I for sure will be going back. Thanks hubby and thanks Havens Medispa for a relaxing evening.

Booked a holiday couple spa treatment last year for my fiancee (at the time) and I right before our wedding. It included a facial and body scrub. We took the day off and the morning of received a phone call that the woman doing one of our treatments got into an accident and wasn't able to make it in. I was upset as our wedding was close, but they were able to still fit one of us in and the other went a few days later. As an apology when I arrived, they gave me a $50 gift card, which they allowed to use for the taxes from the Groupon. Not to mention, the facial was amazing. I've been to other places since that just wash your face and rub lotion on it after. The aesthetician was great and even gave us tips on how to care for our facial skin while explaining what she was doing the every step of the way. Not a huge fan of the body scrub but it was an interesting experience. Great customer service overall!

I came here yesterday with my sister for our first facial experience EVER. When we got there, the receptionist was very friendly and welcomed us with a great smile on her face. We filled out the questionnaire and then shortly after our estheticians came to scoop us up. We were walked to a clean dim-litted room, side by side of each other. I had the friendly Malyka who was so wonderful from beginning to end. I had a great time talking to her and getting to know her a bit. She walked me through each step, telling me what she was doing next and made sure I was comfy the whole way through. I purchased the deep cleansing facial from Groupon, and when it came to extractions, I finally shut up and enjoyed the service :) She was gentle but it did hurt a bit since she is removing stuff out of my face so I am not complaining. She gave me a great face massage after and rubbed my temples. Temple rubbing doesn't do much for me since I usually get sinus headaches but it made me very calm. It was a very relaxing and comfortable experience and I already booked my next appointment for next month with Malyka whether she likes it or not ;) Checkout was just as friendly as check in and I was not talked into any purchasing of additional services or any products that they may offer. I appreciate that as I know nothing about anything. One thing I forgot to do was to ask Malyka what to do to care for my skin and how often I should visit for upkeep. No biggie as I will ask when I return the second time. I do agree with other reviews about how it does look very retail, but it did not bother me at all since I didn't really know what to expect/have any other experience to compare it to. The lights outside the room were a bit bright but not enough to bother my eyes. I was just excited about my newly dewy soft skin and the beautiful weather outside. Thank you again for a great visit and wonderful first experience. Highly recommend!

To be fair, I waited 15 days to give my review coz I didn't want to hurry and wanted to wait and see if the problems created by the treatment would resolve with time. I took this deep cleansing facial on a Saturday with Jessica ( which was supposed to be one hour but actually 50 min coz it started at 10.10 the time which I noted) and was horrified to see a botched up face at home. I called up the spa and to be honest their response was very good and they didn't hesitate to take my calls or answer my questions. They consoled me telling its natural and these wounds will go away in 3 to 4 days. I worked from home the whole week coz my face had these red wounds and I really didn't want to go out with that. Now my face has brown spots in place of red wounds. they have left scars in place. I am now using scar reduction cream and home made treatment for scars all the time to lighten them. All in all it was a horrific experience which I wud not like to be repeated. I think the beautician did the extraction indiscriminately using lot of force. After researching the internet I found out the scars happen becoz of that. I think it was like I paid approx 85 dollars (including tips ) to screw my face. I feel hurt every time I see the brown spots left. More than the money I am disappointed with what they did to my face. The office staff is friendly and they have excellent support , but that cannot help if the treatment has done the damage already.

Took my mom here for her birthday after having a disappointing experience at a spa in Streetsville last year. I purchased the VIP Platinum Package which included a 60 min massage, mani/pedi & mini facial. My mom is not an easy person to please but she could not stop talking about how fantastic her massage was, as well as the great services from Roma and Natalie. The staff is friendly and personalizes the experience, and the facilities are clean and well kempt. I can't wait to book some services for myself!

Had my first experience here yesterday to get a 60-min relaxation massage. The massage itself was wonderful. I had Eleen, and she is great at what she does. I think I even drifted off for a few minutes, which I never do. I had a lot of tension between my shoulders and she really worked at them which I appreciate. The receptionist I have to say is also very sweet and hospitable. She is a great asset to your team. I did notice that during the massage I could hear other people walking by talking loud and laughing, which was a bit disturbing. Some spas have signs stating 'Silence in treatment areas' and I wonder if this spa could benefit by doing the same. The other thing I noticed was when I came out from my massage, very relaxed I may add, the bright lighting in the lobby/ reception area is pretty intense. Dim lighting would be more appropriate for a spa setting in my opinion. Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely be back.

Worst waxing experience ever! Left my skin butchered with bruises and tears. The esthetician who I will not name, was highly unqualified and used wax that was way too hot, her nails kept digging in my skin as she waxed a sensitive area and the whole process was so unbearable I was going to walk out. Then another esthetician, Michele, came in to finish the wax. My skin is currently in horrible condition and looks like it may scar. 100% would not recommend.

On Friday I had my first experience in havens MediSpa, and all I Could say was that it was a great experience. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I had Roma doing the deep Brazilian (as well as a few other things) for me. I was very nervous going in, but Roma was great. She was so patient with me.she took her time and was very precise in her work. I didn't feel rushed at all, and still managed to get everything done in the two hours I booked (waxing different parts of my body). She seemed to know her stuff really well. She was sure to explain everything she used on me. She gave me advice on what I could do to help minimize the pain both during the session and after. I do my Brazilian waxes with Michelle at this SPA for almost a year now. She is super quick and thorough plus has an awesome positive personality. I tried many places before, but wasn’t happy with the quality of the service. Recently, I tried deep cleaning facial with Michelle too and loved the result. I’ve been to few places before where you can’t even tell the next day if you did anything, but this time my sensitive and dehydrated skin turned into glowing and healthy looking. I had a deep cleansing facial with Kerry-Ann for the first time at Haven Medispa on Wednesday July 10, 2019. She is very nice and friendly person. That's counted for 2 stars I put on them. I DO NOT like the way I have it at all after all. I have been doing Deep Facial Cleaning couple places and couple times in my life, but I never experienced this painful after all. After the treatments for 2 days, my face is still in pain even I just wash them daily. Whenever I touch my face to wash (very gentle), it's hurt , soar and uncomfortable. Also, I get a lot of break-outs after the treatments which make I feel their cosmetics give me allergy or something like that. Never went back to this place. When I was there, I did think I gonna buy their membership package as Kerry is nice but after all, thanks God - I did not purchase it yet because I will never trust this kind of service or treatment again. Updated: I did read your reply. First of all, my name is Rian not Liam. Secondly, I understand you guy did spend time for consult my skin type, Kerry is nice and educated. no complain about that. However, my post-treatment experience was extremely bad and gave me hard time enough for me to write up the review. Kerry-Ann was really graceful and elegant in her movements and speech. You never felt rushed, and she's happy to talk to you about skincare methods, myths, facts, etc - just ask! She asked me to talk about my skin before she did anything to it, and that was a surprise to me. Usually people just assume they know your skin by looking at it, then they start doing things to it. It turns out she optimizes your facial with products specifically targeted for your concerns - that's awesome! I came in concerned about large pores and dryness. After the facial, my face has 0 tightness and my pores are barely noticeable! Of course, this is what happened for me, others might get varying results based on their skin condition. I liked being told my esthetician's name when I booked for a walk-in. It gives me time to learn it or write it down and not look like a fool after the real introduction (also good for writing personal reviews). Also, it's easier for them to remember our names because it's in their system - but it shouldn't be one way!

Havens Medispa Place is simple and clean. Products/ services are very good. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. I love their VIP Silver Package which includes facial and mani-pedi with paraffin. Check out their website for prices and to book appointment. Customer service is good. Admins are friendly and responds right away via phone and e-mail. Esthetician (Kerry-Ann, who did my VIP Silver package) and RMT (Natasha, who did my massage) are very knowledgeable and professional. My only suggestion that would make this place perfect 5/5 is to put more kinds of massage under RMT (like hot stone, aromatherapy, swedish, deep tissue).

I recently visited for a deep cleansing facial with Michelle. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and they had great precautions in place for COVID (sanitizing, temperature check, staff PPE). This was by far the best facial I have ever received! Michelle was super bubbly and friendly, experienced, and thorough. I have been to various massage establishments in the GTA but Havens Medispa is, without a doubt, the best. My massage therapist, Natasha, was not only very experienced in her field, but equally kind and sociable. I wish I had found this place before visiting some of the more questionably low-priced spas. I had my first appointment at Havens Spa in 2019 from a massage, pedicure and facial Groupon (They also have great sales on their website for $65-85 facials). I enjoyed my first experience and continued to go for facials with Michelle, who is very knowledgeable and personable, until they closed due to the pandemic. When they reopened, I had 2 appointments in 2021 and I was disappointed with the service and results of my facials. The first was with Vina, she did not talk through the process of the facial or ask for my skin concerns. Vina had heavy hands getting soap/masks in my nose, and leaving my skin red for a week from extractions. The second appointment was with Patty, she’s nice and took the time to understand my areas of concern (1 was dry skin) but she used 2 exfoliators that left my skin dry and flakey for a month. Sadly, Havens Spa is no longer my “go-to” spa. I would rather pay a bit more elsewhere for quality facials. From now on, I would only go back if I’m on a budget and if my esthetician is reliable like Michelle, Jessica, or Natalie.

I went in for a hot stone massage through Groupon. Place was hard to find. People however were nice and friendly and accommodating. The massage was ok nothing special although I would advise just to get a regular massage instead of hot stone. Out of the 60 minute massage I only got 50 minutes I made sure to look at the clock before I got in the bed and after the person left. The reason why I'm only giving it 2 stars is not cause of the massage or the people. But when I went into the room the sheets were dirty. Did not look like they were cleaned. There were two red marks on the bottom sheets that I could see without lifting the blanket. And the blanket sheet had some brown marks on. I asked for the sheets to be changed and was told over n over that they had been washed and are clean. Finally they just gave me a towel to put on the bottom Instead of changing the sheets. I don't see why they couldn't just change the dirty sheets, like I get it sometimes mistakes happen and you forget to change but it's not hard to change.

Tried out this spa based on the excellent reviews. I'm a very shy person when it comes to my body so Brazilian waxes tend to make me very nervous and uncomfortable. I got a full Brazilian with Eleen and she made the experience great. Eleen was extremely nice, very thorough, professional and made me totally comfortable. She held a conversation with me the entire time and made it the easiest waxing experience I have ever had. I will never go to another spa again. I've been getting Brazilians at this place for a year now and I highly recommend them! Very clean, they do not double dip sticks and they remember your preferences! Michelle has been my regular for a while now and she's amazing! She's fast and takes extra care to make sure all the hairs are gone! She will also remove any in-growns! Adding to my previous comment: I just got a French tip shellac mani and a regular pedi with Michelle for my wedding and she was amazing as usual! Michelle helped me pick out colors did a dry mani to ensure that my nails will last longer. She also provided awesome foot and hand scrubs with with pedi and mani. The spa area was exceptionally clean and they now have added measures to ensure client safety during the covid-19 pandemic. Michelle will be my go to for future mani and pedis! My sister and mom will also be visiting Michelle for mani/pedis later this week!

I bought a body scrub and hydrating facial deal from Groupon which was done by Jessica. The body scrub was relaxing and it felt like I was getting a mini massage at the same time. It lasted about 30 - 40 min. The facial was also good. The spa itself was clean and the room was quiet. I did not hear any outside noise. Overall a nice experience.

Just came here for a Brazilian Wax [first timer]. Got in early at around 11:40am, and both the receptionists were very warm and friendly. Everything was already set, and they knew who I already was - and what I was in for. Michelle quickly came in to greet me, and she was so positive and happy to see me, I already knew that she would make my experience wonderful. And she did. Michelle is super easy to talk too, and she made the whole experience of getting my first wax easy, and enjoyable. Michelle answered all my questions in regards to after-care with excellent tips and advice, and I cannot thank her enough for making me feel so comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend this spa, and MICHELLE for everything. When facials resume, I'd definitely book Michelle for it. When it was time to pay, the receptionist noticed I didn't use a first-timer discount, so she applied it to this one, and because I loved Michelle's service, I tipped Michelle 40% EXTRA on top of service charge. I've been here twice now for a back facial, and I have been very pleased with the results! I have suffered from back acne my whole life and with my upcoming wedding I decided to finally try a back facial. I've had this service with Waseem both times, and I have been very impressed. My back feels cleaner and looks a lot brighter. I can see the scarring is fading and I'm not getting as many active break outs. I also appreciate that Waseem is very gentle and explains every step as she goes. The spa is simple but very clean, the sheets and towels smell and look freshly laundered. I'm so thankful I found Havens MediSpa and my visits to them will definitely become routine!

Amazing amazing place, have never regretted going there. The place spotless clean, the girls are very professional and the owner is just as amazing. The prices are reasonable for the quality of job that you get when you go there. You book once, you will never go anywhere else. I personally go to Patty or my waxes. She's amazing, super fast and gets everything done one time. She won't hurt you more than what you should feel with the wax. I just recently got a Groupon for their body scrub and a facial and it was great. Felt good, relaxed and like the job was well done. Overall this place is a 20/20. Natasha, my RMT, was absolutely incredible. She made me feel really comfortable and was so pleasant to talk to . As for the massage, it was the first time I've had an RMT focus specifically on my problem areas and avoid the areas that don't need a massage. She was thorough with her massage, knew exactly gave what would work for me and gave me tips and suggestions. It was a quick half hour and I am booking my next appointment in soon. I would def recommend her if you are looking for a good RMT.

As a competitive athlete training 6 days a week I dont usually try to find the time to let my body recovery and heal properly. I was having lower back and glute issues due to all the heavy training, and I was recommended to get an RMT massage. My massage therapist was Natasha. She consulted me and asked me regarding my the issues ive been having. From start to finish it was amazing, ive never had anything like it. Update: I have been coming here every month for a year now and get facials done by whoever is available. But this time I was lucky enough to get MICHELLE and wow...im amazed. She went ABOVE and BEYOND on my skin and got out every single impurity. She even went over the standard 1 hour time because my skin needed it. Ive had other estheticians say "were running low on time, so just come back in 4 weeks". But Michelle actually went a little bit over time to ensure I was happy with my results. THATS how you know she truly cares about each client. She makes you feel so comfortable and she is so caring.
