Excellent experience! Rita was sparkling, kind, and gave one of the best massages I ever had. Most massages leave me comfortable, but Rita intuitive experience left me feeling like butter. She knows exactly the perfect amount of pressure, and exactly how to help your knots. She truly cares about your health and offers recommendations to ease your muscles. I loved the spa-feeling of the place, the easy way to book, and the Covid Safety protocols in place. Pay no mind to reviewers who complain about not returning because of the employees not being vaccinated. Unless the reviewers are the employees' personal physician, they have no business making a snap judgement about someone's health. Clients are here to seek relief in the form of massage therapy, not be critical of private health-related choices. Pay no mind to reviews complaining about cancellation policies and insurance claims. That is the responsibility of the client to follow-up with. You will absolutely love it here. I've been to the fanciest spas in Toronto and on vacations, and found that although they have nicer scenary in the form of waterfalls and lakes, it really all comes down to the expertise of the masseuse. Ask for Rita, your muscles will thank you!

I got a GC for Xmas so I Went in for a deep tissue massage over the holidays. Perfect Atmosphere and great front desk staff. I had a male do the massage and he was super respectful and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely go back to him when I'm ready for my next one!

This review is not regarding the massage therapy staff, but for management. I left a voicemail to cancel an upcoming massage (albeit with less than 24 hours notice) due to a death in the family and they were unable to make an exception and still charged me 50% for the missed appointment. I had never missed an appointment beforehand and I am extremely disappointed that they were unable to accommodate. I understand that it is a policy, but you should be able to make a one-time exception for someone who is unable to make an appointment because of a death in the family.

DO NOT COME HERE! So I had a session with Veronica, I believe was her name. Upon arrival the front desk asks you to fill out a sheet saying where on your body you feel pain and the intensity of the massage. I came in with a doctors referral for a massage to help fix my pains. I SPECIFICALLY asked for a medium to hard massage as a relaxed just wont do it. The lady who did my massage first did not read a word of what I asked for as she just gave me a rub down in which I could pay my boyfriend to do a better job. Ontop of that when my session was over, she proceeded to say, "We have gone a bit past your session, but done worry I wont be charging for extra time spent as i like you." First off if YOU go over the time limit for the massage, that is your fault, as I am paying you to pay attention and finish my massage at the proper time. This made me feel like I had to feel thankful for her not charging me, disgusting. Now upon arrival, I mentioned that my insurance company is different since they dont take the client submitting the claim, my insurance gets the massage place to submit as that is THE ONLY WAY MY INSURANCE COMPANY HANDLES THIS. They were useless and told me they couldnt submit the claim so I thought maybe I could see how to do it myself, in which I cannot. So they A) didnt care to even take my insurance card to see what they could do, now I have to pay for this absolutely atroshis massage ive ever had B) didnt give me a receipt for the massage as they said it would be emailed, I had to call the store 2 different times within a week to ask them to do something that they said they would do upon me leaving. When I called to discuss with the front desk why im upset, all they can offer me is another massage at a discounted price if I sign up for their package deals. Uhm no.... I didnt enjoy my first visit why would I buy a package deal. Ontop of that they said they could throw in "FREE" aroma therapy..... in which would give me a massive migraine as I am severely sensitive to that. OVER ALL, HORRIBLE EXPERINCE!

Horrible experience.. I decided to try this company for a treat on my birthday, what a mistake! The masseuse talked the entire appointment about her weekend plans and frequently stopped massaging all together. After exhausting the details of her weekend plans, she then proceeded to express her disbelief in covid and the vaccines. Following that, she moved onto politics.... expressing how she wishes someone would "just shoot the PM"... I would not recommend this location to anyone. It was a really horrible experience, nonetheless on my birthday. I will not be returning and I will also not be patronizing a business where the employees are not willing to be vaccinated.

This was the absolute WORST waxing treatment I’ve ever had. For starters, the service took significantly longer than it should have. The aesthetician claimed to have removed all the hair but did not; she cut A LOT of corners. I was burned several times and informed her of this, but she never did anything about it. I have a very high pain tolerance, and I found myself to be in a great deal of pain during the treatment. I've been to several other spas and waxing bars in the past, and I have NEVER encountered so much pain and discomfort. I have had many different creams and serums applied to the area after a treatment, and whatever was used on me resulted in a burning sensation and rash. I do not have sensitive skin, and I have NEVER broken out or developed a rash after a treatment from anywhere else. I highly do not recommend this establishment to anyone, and I defiantly won't be returning for any other services in the future.

I visited this hand & stone for the first time and didn’t have a good experience. They didn’t offer me the massage of my choice. Upon further questioning them, it was revealed that they were about to close and the my preferred massage type would have taken more time. Not going to visit this hand & stone center again.

The pricing is confusing. They have a series of gift cards which you need to purchase to get a change in price with different restrictions on each and I always end up in a long discussion at the front desk after a massage. I was also was given a WaySpa card and looked it up online before coming, and then was told they no longer accept them. Very frustrating experience. It is not comparable to my conversations at other local spas. I felt sad that the front desk administration did not address my concerns but gave a rote response. It did not feel very personal or concerned and that is what I would want in an small area like Port Credit. The below response from the owner reads as a dismissive invalidation of my concern and the feedback that I am offering to the business.

Had a facial with Beverly. It was really relaxing and thorough. They used great products like Dermalogica. I’d go back for a facial. However the massage was okay. I booked for a deep tissue 60 minute massage and I got 50 minutes. The therapist uses lots of elbow and forearms plus the technique is very unusual. Go for the facial, skip the massage.

Easy to book an appointment over the phone. All staff were friendly from the time I booked to the time I paid! Best COVID-19 safety measures I’ve seen in any store,spa,salon etc. since things opened up. Even the pens are sanitized between uses! Victoria was amazing. She was able to help me with all more sore spots. She is very friendly and we had a great conversation. I do however wish direct billing to Sun Life was an option here.

I went last Saturday for my first prenatal massage. The young receptionist looked at me coldly without much welcome. I told her that I came for my prenatal massage appointment as "you know my back hurts so much...". She smiled and looked away, looked into her desktop screen. *No communications*. Then I sat on a sofa and a therapist came to greet me. When I checked out, that girl didn't look at me nor ask how I enjoy the place, she simply handed me the bill and looked away, back into her screen. After I paid, she simply took the machine back and continued looking at her screen. Oh well, mean I should leave then. No "thank you", no words. I am sorry, I will not come back. I know there are multiple spas who are more friendly and show care to their customers. The massage is just Okay, nothing special. Why come back then?

---I actually wanted to give this place a zero star, but this option is not enabled--- Terrible customer experience. I booked an appointment on the phone but did not get an email confirmation (I asked for one but they said they don't send those out). On the day of my appointment I remembered the appointment wrong by 1/2 hr and called to see if I can still keep it. I was then told that I cannot keep the appointment and that I would be charged for 50% for cancellation. I explained that it was not a cancellation but rather that I remembered the appointment incorrectly (in any case I was okay with that) - I then suggested that they should email out confirmation to help customers get it into their calendars correctly; the staff then proceeded to tell me that they emailed it to me and I reminded them (turns out it is the same person) that they told me they don't send these out when I talked with them; then they changed their story to say that they only didn't send email notifications when they are booked within a few days of the appointment....makes no sense and this just seems like making excuses. In any case, this was already the second chance that I was giving this place to see if perhaps the service would improve - they claim that they are flexible, but clearly that is just talk and not action. This rating does not apply to the massage therapists, but it is to the reception staff and owner.

Overall the room was very clean and spacious very good aura and ambience. The washroom was also very clean. I also noticed that the counter was being cleaned after every customer. Did a couples massage with Brenda and sayed. Neither of us really enjoyed the experience. Sayed was very abrupt and his movements were so fast and not relaxing at all. My Bf said Brenda was very repetitive and didn't spend the same amount of time per arm or leg. We bothasked for add ons and neither were offered the spa itself seems very into signing you up for a membership. That said I think it could've been just the masseuse we had as we could often hear people asking for the same one so she must be good.

This place is a hidden gem in Port Credit! As a health care professional myself, I am selective with the massage therapists I choose. I was alittle reluctant to go to a corporate type massage chain, but I am glad I did. This place is the perfect mix of clinical massage with the feel of a high end spa, all at very reasonable rates. I've had massages by both Jack and Ash and they are exceptional. Both are professional, intuitive and very good at what they do. The girls at the front desk have always been very friendly and professional. I rarely take the time to write a review but people need to know about this place!

I only go to Yasmine for my facials. She is knowledgeable and they use great products. Salons/Spas in Toronto charge around 80-120, but with a membership deal, this service is affordable! I have changed my face products to Dermalogica and I see a difference.

I went here today for a massage and I was incredibly disappointed. The masseuse didn't have cut finger nails so it felt like he was scratching me as he massaged me. On top of that, he used his elbows and forearms for a majority of the massage which was uncomfortable, not something I have typically experienced with deep tissue massages. It's unfortunate because I have had wonderful experiences at the Oakville location, but today was terrible. I'd say the more disappointing is that I had requested that he does not touch my hair because I had to go to work after and I didn't want the bottom of my head looking greasy (I have short hair too so you can see it). That was not the case...I had to tell him again mid-massage to watch my hair because I could feel him catching all the hair at the bottom of my head. I usually don't mind, but I had work right after and nothing drives me more crazy than my hair being greasy. Overall I was incredibly unimpressed considering I've been to Hand & Stone in Oakville many times and never had complaints. This was probably the most uncomfortable massage experience I've had.

Awesome Dermalogica facial! I have had "Dermalogica" facials in several different spa's before but this one actually did it right! Just because a spa uses Dermalogica products doesn't mean that do the signature facial correctly... I was SO happy to find a spa in Port Credit that did such a great job. Very happy with my services and will be coming back for sure! Side note: Book with Vivien she is WONDERFUL!

I was given 80 minutes massage gift certificate and called in to book an appointment a week in advance. I came in to my appointment expecting 80 minutes but ended up getting 50 minutes only. When I showed the receptionist my certificate, she said “you were told when you booked it was 50mins” no I wasn’t and even if I was, why am I only getting 50?. Instead of apologizing and crediting me the rest when I book my next appointment, I was asked if i wanted to leave any tips. My massage therapist was nice and knew what she was doing, I always tip and was really thinking of getting a membership there since it’s close to home, but not after the great customer service I received.

One word: disappointing. I am not talking about the massage itself but this company. They have a cancellation policy where if you cancel in less than 24 hours you a penalized however if they cancel last minute they are not subject to the same policy. I don't like these kind of double standards. I will not do business with them again.

Best place ever!! I had a great experience this week at Hand and Stone port credit with rejuvenating facial followed by a lovely relaxing massage. I loved the products and the therapist was very thorough. The place is very clean and nice. I was welcomed and greeted from first minute I entered the spa and after I finished my massage I found the owner came to me to check about the services I had and offered me water and a nice chocolate :) Definitely will be back

This spa is my go to for facials. My aesthetician Marawat is extremely patient and is very knowledgeable about sensitive/problematic skin. I have been going quite regularly and have seen a lot of difference in the dark spots/acne marks after the facials.

The person who picks up the phone to take bookings is rude and sounds like he doesn’t want to be working, he had a very bad attitude . I cancelled my appointment for this very reason. They should have polite people picking up the phone. He sounds like he is half asleep and this is something that he does not wish to be doing. His questions were unclear and he got annoyed very easily when confirming booking details. If that’s the way that this place works then I would rather book somewhere else, if the person picking up the phone behaves like this I wonder how people working there will behave.
