This was a lovely place. Clean, quiet, modern. Iris gave me the perfect eyebrows that I desperately needed. Cannot wait for the next appointment to keep them up. My mom had a fabulous massage. She said it was amazing. This place offers and environment of family, calm and relaxation. You feel like you are at home. I highly recommend cedar house. I will be going here again for waxing and massage....I will throw in a facial as well. Looking forward to it.

My husband recently came here and gushed about how good his massage was so I decided to go in and have a mani-pedi. All I can say is how wonderful this place is. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Julita, the owner, who is extremely kind and professional. My aesthetician was Iris who is a bundle of good energy and her pedicures are second to none. I went to the Cedar House Spa on Saturday (December 17th) for a massage and facial. Everything from the greeting to the send off was fabulous. I was offered refreshments as I filled out my forms and my jacket was taken for me. The facility is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Both my massage and facial were wonderful and the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. I was able to stay in one room for both treatments, which made it even more enjoyable. For someone who runs perpetually cold, the heated bed was an added touch that made me feel more comfortable. I already made up my mind that I would be returning before I was even offered the gift card upon payment (bonus!). They are also working on a loyalty program that has offers for birthdays, etc. Having visited spas throughout Canada and in Europe, I would absolutely (and already have) recommend them.

Update: 3 years later, and still a regular client. Judy is a fantastic RMT! So happy I found this place. :) I went for a massage I got on GroupOn and it was the best place I've been to date. Very clean, friendly, professional, and an excellent massage! It's also only a 5-10 min drive from where I live, so that's a bonus. I'm now booked to go in on a monthly basis as I had been looking for a good RMT. Strongly recommend!

All the staff were very kind and accommodating whether they were the ones doing the service or not. I really loved how they talked me through what they are doing and why throughout the treatment and answered any questions I had. I would like to give a special thanks to Marzena who gave me the best massage. She is very kind and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. She was able to quickly identified my problem areas and did an amazing job! I loved how she used her expertise to explain any questions I had about any of my pain areas that she worked on. She also did an amazing job with my pedicure which I did not have for many years. I honestly thought it would take a few visits to remove all the hardness on my feet, but with one visit she made my feet look like new. Also I would like to give a special thanks to Barbara who did my manicure. She did an awesome job and very pleasant to talk with. CedarHouse never disappoints. This was our first mani/pedi since the lockdown ended and we are absolutely thrilled with how beautiful our nails look and the amazing service we received from Iris and Basia. I went in for a shellac manicure and house pedicure. I saw Basia, her technique was good. I’m satisfied with her service. I will see her again. I also had the Indian head massage. I was really looking forward to this but I was left unsatisfied. The lady was really nice. She spent more time on my shoulders and neck then my head. And the pressure was way too light for me!!! I was really hoping for more time on my head. That’s why I booked a head massage. It did not help release tension. Felt more like a tease. The products used was nice, and the towels and room were very clean. I will not be getting this service again.

Just had my first massage here and was most pleased, not only with the massage but the customer service. Everyone was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I was that surprised that not only were willing to accommodate me last minute (close to closing) but saw the condition I was in and the therapist Judy offered to stay longer. It's worth avoiding the cheap massages around the town and going to a place that actually cares about your well being. I know its all part of running a business but its nice to see people being authentic about it.

I had a hot stone massage with Monica I received a gift certificate from my mom and finally used it. I was greeted and my coat was hung while I waited till she came to escort me to the room. There was soothing music and a peaceful setting with dim lighting it was absolutely fabulous I didn't know what to expect as I never had one but the stones were heated and worked into my skin with lotion applied beforehand I felt very relaxed after the 60 min my skin revived with healthy smoothness perfect to combat winter dryness. I was speechless she has the magic touch and handles you with care so delightful, polite, and funny I plan to book a facial next!

I’ve been looking for a new registered massage therapist since my last one retired. I contacted cedar house since it was close to me and was given an appointment the next day. I met Judy and told her about my lower back pain. The massage lasted just over an hour, and I wished I had done an 75 or 90 minute massage as it was excellent. Just the right amount of pressure, not to hard, not to soft. I’ve already scheduled my next one in a couple weeks. The place is clean, massage was great.

I went to CedarHouse spa this week for a birthday massage and absolutely loved it. I know this might sound silly but as I've gotten older, I appreciate the ease and convenience of this kind of spa. There's no fuss or filler when you get there, just great straight to the point service. In the past I've enjoyed other lovely spas like Miraj Hammam and Elmwood but it always took so long to find parking, do intake, travel up to the change room, wait for the masseuse etc. but they were so efficient at CedarHouse (plus ample parking outside). Jessica was my masseuse and she was great, I left feeling very relaxed (and sleepy, which, in my opinion, is the sign of a good massage). I highly recommend and will definitely return.

So, I've been to many places that offer these services and that know how to treat customers like kings. This place, above all others, is the top of the line. This is the best day spa I've been to in several years, hands down. Great staff, great services. The time flew by, and yet I'd been there half the day. I was relaxed from the minute I walked in until the time I left. It really was great, all around. I'll be back. And I'll recommend the place to everyone I know.

Loved our experience - from booking to final thank you! I had submitted a request for appointment confirmation via the website and had a response within the hour. Appointment was on time, service (facial) was wonderful. The owner greeted us and was very warm and welcoming. Definitely going back - and though I didn't think I'd want to take my 5 year old for a pedicure yet, they have pedicures for kids that's changed my mind! Highly recommend. Update: brought my little girl and her friend as a birthday gift and what an experience it was! Greeted by name, special treatment by excellent staff, even played a happy birthday song! It's the little things too - Julita asked if she could give a little something to the girls and even when offering juice, made sure to mention that water was mixed (she just be a mind reader).

I'm an active guy: running, hiking, biking, yoga, kickboxing, chasing after my kids (ha!). I was looking for a RMT who could perform a deep tissue massage. I can’t rave enough about Judy! She understands the correct pressure and technique and has the stamina for a 90 minute massage! I booked online. Scheduling was easy. The front desk manager was polite and courteous. She even offered me a chai tea while I waited. Inside the spa is bright, clean and comfortable. Overall, this was the best massage I've had in the Etobicoke/Mississauga area. Highly recommend.

Not many spa's in the area, so I was excited to see a new one that could cater to both male and female clientele. The spa is located at the opposite end of PLATO's closet in a small plaza... lots of parking. When I arrived I was amazed at how clean and good the place looked. Most "day spas" in the area are a little tired... this place looks is small but very Cozy. Anyway I was greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly (dont remember her name), offered a hot or cold drink and then whisked away to see Ania who gave me a pedicure and manicure. Ania was very pleasant and did an excellent job. Finally a spa that understands customer service. I never felt rushed... and especially liked the cookies and coffee they delivered to me between services. I will definitely be back!

I'm not one to leave reviews but had to after my experience. The owner Julita is just a wonderful person and made me want to go out of my way to leave the review. For a small place, cedar house is amazing! Its hidden away from the busy streets which makes the experience relaxing. There are no cars that whistle by the windows. Just grass, trees, and sky. When going into the treatment rooms, I am a little picky as I am a bigger girl, but I can tell you there is more than enough space. The beds are heated and the blankets are so soft that you never want to leave. The staff is so welcoming and kind and the space is super clean. You have to see it to understand. I had a manicure and pedicure with Tanya and can't say enough great things about this spa. Two thumbs up!!!!

I visited CedarHouse Spa after the holidays after receiving a gift card from my daughter as a Christmas gift and let me just tell you that it was such a good experience. It was my very first time ever receiving a massage and the registered massage therapist Barbara was simply amazing!!! Her technique was exquisite and she provided very helpful tips on how I can manage my lower back pain at home. The lady who signed me in at the front of the spa was so kind and the spa was so clean and bright it made me feel that my daughter made the best choice in a spa. My husband took me to this spa for a 90 minute Swedish massage to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We were not disappointed. They were able to take us both the same day we called. The staff was lovely. My masseuse was brilliant and did a fantastic job. As a mom of a 15 month old, I can appreciate anything that helps me relax and they sure did. I did wish we could have had a true couples massage but I wasn't certain if it was because they didn't offer it or they didn't have a room to facilitate that kind of service. Either way I have a great experience. You certainly get what you pay for and I would consider referring friends or returning myself.

Very good service, very clean and well maintained facility. We ran into some issues with the nail polish crinkling for no apparent reason and even though it was late, the staff were very patient and ensured I went home with perfect manicure. Would definitely recommend and will visit again! June 2017 - Well, I did visit again, and I was definitely not disappointed. The service is excellent and the staff very pleasant. They even called me to tell me they were running a few minutes late so I was able to prioritize my time. Going to make another appointment, this time I am taking my sister-in-law.

Deep Cleansing Facial with Basia. The whole experience was awesome! This was my first time getting a facial and I was not disappointed. Upon arrival I immediately felt very relaxed. The spa was clean and welcoming. Basia, the aesthetician, was super friendly and I immediately felt comfortable. She was knowledgeable of the procedure and the products. I reviewed my 'problem' areas with her and she made sure to pay extra attention to them when the time came. As we went along, she explained each step and what products she was using/applying. I definitely saw a difference in my skin afterwards as it appeared so much more clean & even brighter - Exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend CedarHouse Spa.

I have now been here twice for the deluxe mani and deluxe pedi and both times it has been wonderful! It is a beautiful new day spa in a quiet plaza. I really like looking out of the large windows at the tree line view while being pampered. They definitely care about top quality service at Cedarhouse and ensured I was settled in with a good selection of magazines and a drink. They take their time and there is no rushing the services. Ania was a skilled aesthetician (great nail polish application that latest longer than it usually does for me) and struck the perfect balance of friendly and conversational but allowing me time to relax and read. Next time definitely will try one of their spa packages with the cute names.

The place was smaller than I expected so it's advisable to book an appointment as it may be hard to just walk in. The lady who did my mani/pedi was a sweetheart but I noticed a regular customer beside me was offered tea/coffee and I wasn't. Not much of a big deal but that would've made a difference. They managed to squeeze my pedicure inbetween the appointment so I didn't have to come back later during the day. Price is competitive and will probably come back again.

I was very pleased because I have ultra sensitive skin and rosacea, so the facial was custom made just for me. The atmosphere of the spa is lovely, very warm and soothing environment. EVERYONE NEEDS TO DROP WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND GO SEE JULITA AND THE TEAM AT CEDARHOUSE SPA!!! FANTASTIC SERVICE TO GO WITH A GREAT ATMOSPHERE, LOCATION AND FAIR PRICES!!! Lol. So basically my wife and I were looking for a spa in the Missisauga area (since we live here and have been driving an hour downtown to be able to get treatment from a good quality spa). We both actually stumbled upon CedarHouse Spa's website and of course were taken back by all the positive reviews (not that many options in the area and the reviews are usually hit and miss). I surfed through the easy to navigate site and was impressed with the layout and ease with which to book services and/or personnel (this was not available to us at our Yorkville spa). This was really perfect especially since I didn't have to call anyone to make an appointment and I was able to receive a reminder text as well as e-mail a few days before. I honestly cannot say enough about Julita (the spa owner). We must have e-mailed back and forth 100 times on everything from pricing to availability to different types of packages, etc. She really is the boss! She responded so quickly and was able to answer all of my questions (even at midnight!) lol. Based on this, I knew the service would be impeccable at the spa. As others have mentioned, the location is kind kind of tucked away in this plaza I must have passed a million times before. It's conveniently ten minutes from us in Mississauga and conveniently located at Dundas and Hwy 427.. Even though it appears to be tiny from the outside, the inside is quite spacious with two comfortable leather chairs for sitting. The inside is very modern and contemporary looking (probably Julita's vision, lol)They also have coffee, tea, cookies, and juice and water readily available, Although I could make my own coffee, Julita insisted (And who was I to say no??) as she made tea for my wife as well upon our first time arrival. This is even more amazing that an owner is willing to do all of this and greet us with a smile! So Impressed. We both had massages with Judy and she is truly amazing!!! One of a kind! Again, there were so many positive comments about her leading up to us getting treated by her...so my expectations were super high and she met them all! Not only was she friendly and personable, she knew how to apply the right amounts of pressure to different areas of the body. She knew which areas were tight and made great recommendations. For those that like a full body massage with lots of pressure applied evenly, Judy is your best source!! I highly recommend her as both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our massages from her. We've had hundreds of massages from RMTs so we know what we like and what we don't. Judy hit all the right spots! ALL IN ALL WE CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN. ACTUALLY WE HAVE ALREADY PREBOOKED OUR NEXT APPOINTMENT:) THIS WILL BE OUR GO TO SPA FROM NOW ON AND I'M SO GLAD IT'S IN MISSISSAUGA AND IS LED BY JULITA AND TEAM!

Had a 90 min groupon massage , on the positive note the massage therapist was nice and the place was very clean and well lit but the massage was terrible , the oil/lotion was cold , I was cold, I felt more she was playing with my skin than massaging me, minimal pressure . I have a had a fair amount of massages from spas, I am not usually disappointed. Also I got the Groupon as a GIFT let me give you a heads up they charge you a fee after the fact which she neglected to tell me even though I spoke with her on the phone before I arrived and asked what to bring , as well as additional info , when i arrived I sat down filled up the form again no information, literally as I was going through the door ( hand on the door handle) after the terrible massage she begins to tell me even tho its a gift I should pay this service tax which I have never heard of. It was not the AMOUNT money but the WAY it was collected. First and last time . Hopefully others have better luck but I wasn't impressed.

My wife and I received a pampered day at Cedarhouse spa as a gift. We’ve heard of these city escapes before, usually leaving disappointed, but not this time. The location backs onto Etobicoke Creek; its very relaxing. We both got the deluxe manicure pedicure with massage. I’m not much for those, but since it was a gift, I was like ‘what the heck’ It was actually fun (not that i have a lot of compare to) and my wife raved about it. What I do know is the massage was AMAZING! Judy, the RMT, was simply one of the best I’ve every had. I had the 90 minute massage and felt it was too quick. Definitely would recommend this place!

Cedarhouse Spa had been recommended to me by a friend who had an RMT swedish massage. I decided to check it out after browsing their website. I thought the price wasn't too bad in comparison to other spas, the location was easy to get to and there is ample free parking. The spa was clean and well laid out. It was smaller than I expected it to be but they still offer many services. The staff were courteous and professional. Judy was my RMT and she was great! She was very professional and offered some helpful tips to improve the tightness in my back. She was cautious about the amount of pressure she applied to a sensitive area and asked to make sure I was comfortable. Judy was also wonderful to chat with, she was very personable. I will definitely be going back again for a massage as well as to try other services.

I've had a deep tissue massage with their RMT (a while ago), and my bushy eyebrows shapped and waxed plus my underarms waxed by Iris today. The RMT was very knowledgeable in knowing how to easy my tight muscles, and the esthetician did an amazing job removing all the unwanted hair (which, were growing in all directions!). The receptionist was also very pleasant and professional (which I find is actually hard to find in most spas!). In addition, they are very clean!!! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for quality and professionalism :)
