I had an amazing experience visiting Body and Soul day spa! Upon walking in, the receptionist greeted me warmly and offered to take my coat. I was then taken into a beautiful and relaxing waiting room with tea and water available. Finally, my HydraFacial was amazing! My skin was glowing and felt fantastic. I could not have been happier with the service from start to finish. I recommend Body and Soul to all my friends and family as I felt completely taken care of and everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. I've been working at this beautiful spa for over a year now and I feel like one lucky lady!! It's a true sanctuary in the heart of Streetsville (awarded most beautiful business in Mississauga yearly!!) and I am so happy to be part of it! The team of estheticians have an insane amount of skin - knowledge, which is evident in my face! Since starting here we have targeted congestion and redness in my skin with hydrafacials, microneedling and IPL. I have indulged in deeper treatments like Reiki (with a certified reiki Master), crystal massage and holistic therapies with a side of infrared sauna for good measure! Body and Soul's commitment to its team is reflected in my understanding of the extensive treatments we offer by getting to try them firsthand. This investment ensures I can help clients with whatever questions they might have, while supporting their decisions with my experiences. Overall, I'd say I have tried most of the amazing services and my understanding of treating one's self to the necessary care has been brought to the forefront as I witness the results of our committed clientele. That said, when covid hit, I wasn't sure what would happen... I must say, as always Catherine has gone above and beyond to ensure safety in the workplace. The added covid protocols and emergency-response certifications ensure the comfort of the client and the employees, while continuing to impress with the serenity of the surroundings. That reassurance and focus on what matters is at the core of this spa; I feel as though it gets better and better everyday with new and renewed clientele coming and going and calling and texting to grab a spot for themselves. If you haven't already done so, I will say the same as I do to my friends and my family; if you want pampering and relaxation or you simply value quality-services, this is the place to book!

Body and Soul Day Spa has been the #1 Spa for my husband and for the past several years. I initially found this spa on groupon and left on my first visit quite impressed. The staff is professional and friendly, not to mention they do an outstanding job with whichever service provided. The atmosphere on the lower level is very classy and elegant and once you reach the 2nd floor you get a very peaceful and relaxing feeling with the décor and lighting. The spa is very clean, well-kept and organized as well. Both Monica and Ruirong give excellent RMT massages and are amazing at what they do! The facials are amazing, & Kelly does beautiful Manicures! I would definitely recommend this spa to everyone!

While I was first concerned about safety due to Covid-19, body and soul really put in measurements in place to make sure everyone feels safe. I love how they make you sanitize and then check your temperature, and all the other precautions they took. Weird way to come back to my fav place due to the pandemic, but absolutely love how mindful they are.

I had booked a full day spa package as it was something I wanted to do for a long time and had never done before. Overall the booking process was pretty easy and you can make adjustments to any package you like, upgrade, add-ons etc. Upon arrival at around 10am, they have COVID protocols in place. Hand sanitization, new mask, spraying your shoes, temperature check, given flip flops and you then change into your robe and wait for your "day of pampering" to begin! First up was the Riverstone massage, I really enjoyed this. While it wasn't as "satisfying" as an RMT massage, it was super relaxing where I almost fell asleep and I really enjoyed the essential oils they used. However, I wish there was some relaxing music playing or offered since the complete silence made my ears "tune in" on any sounds happening outside my room. Next was the aroma detox mud wrap. First they dry exfoliate your body. I found this a little too rough but you can ask for them to be more gentle. Then the mud is applied! After you are sealed in with a giant electric blanket and left for 20-ish minutes. I got a little too hot and had to take out my arms and found the sensation of the plastic sticking to my skin a little strange. Perhaps use towels as a barrier instead of the plastic here? After, I was instructed to wash off in the bath, but I found it really difficult to get off the mud without some kind of loofah, cloth, anything. I ended up missing a section of my back because there wasn't any way of checking to make sure I got it all off. The mirror was too far to view until after I got out of the bathtub. Then a moisturizer is applied to seal in all the goodness. Then I had my break for lunch. Initially this was scheduled to be at the end of the day (at almost 4pm) and I asked to have it earlier as there was no way I could go the whole day without eating. Due to COVID protocols, it had to be a packaged lunch. However, this was probably the most disappointing part of the visit. The pizza I received was cold, it was obvious that the food was delivered WAYY before and was not even kept warm or warmed by the staff. I was told I would be provided a bottle of water, but the staff that had set up my lunch couldn't find one so I got a mug of water. I don't think I could have finished the meal if I didn't have any water since the pizza was cold. My feedback to this would be either to find a way of timing the food better, or warming it prior to giving it to the client, or don't offer food at all and give the client an hour break to go get food. Given the pricing of the packages, I'd expect a little more attention to detail here. Anyway, onto the facial! I never had one before and it was a good experience. Many different creams were applied, face masks, a suction tool to clean your pores, etc... I found the hydration creams left on my face to be super greasy for my liking and had to wash it off when I got home. So just something to keep in mind if you've never had one before. BUT, I did notice a significant difference, the pores on my nose minimized and definitely more hydrated! So mission accomplished! Last in my day was my mani/pedi. I really enjoyed those. They have these amazing masks they apply and you have hand/feet warmers to really soak it in. The application of the nail polish was great but I didn't get anything fancy. While you are waiting for the mani/pedi to dry the staff are constantly cleaning. So its easy to feel safe in this environment. So all in all, I did enjoy my visit, my skin feels amazing but there are some small things I'd recommend improving. I know COVID protocols have made it more challenging but I really wish that the food was warm when I came down for lunch. I also would LOVE to know what the essential oil mix was used for my massages. I definitely would use these at home if it was available to purchase. In terms of the spa facilities, the SPA itself is really clean, has a relaxing vibe and is "cutely" decorated. I definitely will be back again.

I am doing the hydra facial treatment series at Body and Soul to put an end to my adult-acne. Katherine is so knowledgeable! After only the first treatment/facial I am experiencing incredible results! Getting compliments on my skin (that never happens), and ditching my foundation and concealer completely! She customized a skin care routine of highly effective products, warned me of trigger-foods to stay away from, and suggested simple daily routine changes that have made a huge difference. I highly recommend this treatment for anyone looking to get their skin under control and in balance!

I went in for a hydrafacial with lights and peel to resolve issues I had with hyperpigmentation and acne. The aesthetician was extremely rough with my skin and did not take into consideration my skin type at all. I came home with my skin burning and my face red and swollen. I informed them at the time that my skin was burning and it didn't feel normal. The aesthetician simply said that it was normal for me to feel that way. My skin had essentially burnt off my face because of the rough products used on my skin. I was unable to go to work because my skin looked so bad and it was so embarrassing to have red, burnt skin on my face. I am incredibly dissatisfied with this establishment.

They have recently done some renovations which has positively transformed the space. The massage room I was treated in was so cold - however, the RMT was kind enough to bring me extra blankets upon request to keep warm during my massage.

Two friends of mine and myself have all had very bad experiences here. All of which the manager failed to reconcile to our satisfaction. Massage rooms shouldn't be cold, masseuses shouldn't be talking the entire massage, noses shouldn't be destroyed during facial extractions. Just a bad place in general.

Just got back from a fantastic spa day at Body & Soul. I decided to get myself the Awakening package as a little birthday treat for myself. Serena did my massage & facial, and Elena (I think that was her name? Apologies if I’m wrong) did my mani/pedi. Both girls were wonderful! Both made me feel welcomed & relaxed and did a great job respectively. My only regret is that I didn’t have enough change to tip them both. Not sure if the staff reads these reviews or not, but if so- please tell them I am so sorry! I will be sure to bring enough next time, as I really enjoyed the service, and they truly deserve it! I had the most amazing experience today with my boyfriend for Valentines Day♥️! When we arrived the front desk staff greeted us and immediately took our coats & led to a room to fill out our waivers. We were given a pair of slippers and were escorted upstairs. We were advised by the staff that we had 40 minutes in the hot tub which was decked out with champagne, chocolates, water and robes. The room was beautiful! The massage therapist were not RMTs but they let us know ahead of time, but they still did a good job regardless! :) We got 55 minute Swedish massage and the massage therapist were friendly, engaging, and did great! I mentioned I loved the smell of eucalyptus, and the lady went to the other room and grabbed me some! I can’t remember the name of the package we got. But I believe it was the couples retreat. I think it was about $260.00 for the whole package. Would definetly reccomend this to anyone looking to have a getaway with that special someone! I will for sure be back and hopefully get to try out one of the other services !!! ♥️♥️♥️

Never ever go to this salon! I went for manicure and pedicure with my mom, clearly stated 3 times (!) that I need BOTH. Their secretary booked me and my mom just pedicure! Who does pedicure separately from manicure??? If the person is not able to listen to voice commands over the phone, she should be dismissed from this position. I was literally kicked out of the salon and said that it closes at 5 pm on Sunday, it actually closes at 6 pm on Sundays, as it is stated on their website. I would never ever go to this salon again, never recommend it to my relatives and friends, horrible place and for this kind of service ridiculously overpriced.

They know how to cheat the customers. I booked an RMT massage on the phone. After the massage was done, I asked for the receipt so i can claim it in benefits but they said that its NOT RMT and made me pay for it. BIG LIERS. Please read their reviews before you go to this place. They have done this with so many customers. DONT GET CHEATED !!! Also the masseuse are not professionally trained. It was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY .Worst experience ever

I was dealing with acne and scarring, however Ally has taken great care of my skin and was successful in clearing it all up. Everything was done in steps and everything was explained to me thoroughly They have a great sanitization system set up. I felt so safe and well taken care of. The only feedback I have to give is that there were way too many bubbles in the jacuzzi to an uncomfortable point, and I was accidentally promised lunch afterwards as well, and then they said they were mistaken and it was a bit awkward. I was desperate for a massage and I called Body and Soul in the morning and they accommodated me for the same day. I had never been here before so I was a little unsure but I had the most amazing experience. They have tons of measures in for Covid safety and they’re very clean and sanitized for every surface you encounter. I had my massage with Daniela. She met me at the door, walked me through the procedures and the actual massage was absolutely divine. Highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a pampering day for themselves and the staff and experiences were 5 star!

Yeah....no. I've been getting massages for about 5+ years and I've been to regular to high end places like GoPlace. This is place is a ripoff. We went for the relaxing massage and it wasn't relaxing at all. The quality of the work was so poor. Not to mention you are forced to buy suppliers from them and mask. This is only "SPA" place that is doing this. Clearly to make as much money possible which was lost. Over the phone the lady said it's RTM and in person she lied to our faces. We knew it was her but we didn't want to be one of those ppl standing there and arguing for 30mins. Overall, it cost us $255 which was a COMPLETE WASTE of our TIME AND MONEY! There are many better places out there. Please take your money and time there.

Connie and Debbie are very sweet and always so helpful when I am booking appointments, as I always have a busy schedule but, they work around it. Ally always surprises me and knows what's best for my face. I usually get a hydra facial but, this time she also performed derma planing. My face feels so soft! She tells me what exactly what she's doing and informs me of the products I should be using. Overall, I enjoy my appointments and can't wait for my next visit.

Update: I have decided to revised my rating and my review of the place as the manager Connie has since called me to rectify the situation and this has really won me over! I appreciate the fact that she took my feedback seriously and made a genuine effort to remediate my concerns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This place tries to act all upscale and professional but they are far from that. I signed up with them in April/May for laser hair treatment package which I paid for upfront. For my first appointment I got a call and reminder on time (so that part was well executed at least then). During the appointment the woman who did the laser had so much attitude and was acting as if she was doing me a favor by doing her job. She spilled the gel on my clothes and didn't even bother apologizing. Then seconds later she spilled some more gel and this time she was so nonchalant in her apology and hastily and clumsily wiped it off my clothes. The whole time the woman was unfriendly and her attitude was simply not acceptable for a place like that. Needless to say I was extremely unhappy after the first appointment and knew I would have to fight an uphill battle to get a refund. Therefore, I gave this place another chance (mostly cuz the location is very convenient for me). Second appointment went well. This time the lady who did the laser was very professional and friendly and she bothered to listen to my questions and concern. My third appointment was supposed to be in the first week of October and so far I haven't heard a peep from them. I guess since the full amount has already been paid, so they aren't as keen on being professional as they would've if I still owed some money. I have sent them an email asking about my next appointment, but I can't believe that I have to remind them that they owe me at least three more laser sessions which were paid in advance.

My fiancé and I decided to treat ourselves for Christmas instead of getting each other gifts. We were super excited for this treat! We booked the Couple’s Package, which came with a 45 min jacuzzi bath and 1hr massage. Also had complimentary champagne and chocolates! It was a lovely, intimate moment and we felt very relaxed. They made sure to have a very clean and safe process - providing face masks, robes, slippers, and even sanitizing our shoes! The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The massage was more on the “relaxing” style. So if you’re expecting a deep tissue massage, this isn’t the package to go with. I personally prefer a deeper massage, but I still enjoyed it. Might have fallen asleep a few times!

This was my first time at a spa and I read good reviews about this place. I really wanted to do something romantic with my boyfriend on Valentines Day and they had good packages for couples. Their prices surprised me for such a grand experience. We loved it. I booked the couples escape which is 196$ plus HST for two people. It was worth the price! The ladies were kind and instructed us what to do however we were kinda uncomfortable because it felt like they showed how disgusted they were with our bodies. Maybe, it was just us overthinking but it showed in their movements on our massage. Overall; it was amazing c: I would come again for another package!

I recently had a pre-natal massage with Monica - I'm nearly 8 months pregnant and was skeptical going into the appointment after having a pretty negative prenatal massage experience a couple weeks prior (at another location in Streetsville). I have to give this place 5 stars. So... I went in for a facial for the first time about a year ago and it was horrible, but a couple of months ago I wanted to give them another chance. I called and spoke to the receptionist and explained what happened the last time I went and she was extremely nice and told me that she would put me with an experienced aesthetician. The second facial was one of the best facials I have ever had, the aesthetician was amazing and did a great job on my skin. I bought some skin care products that she used during my facial and their brand Juliette Armand really worked on my skin. I recently inquired about purchasing more skin care products and spoke with Connie who was extremely helpful. She took the time to choose the right skin care products for me and was very thorough. I am so happy with the service here and can’t wait to go back for a facial.

My girlfriend purchased what they suggested would be required to remove the hair from her legs and bikini. After about 10 sessions all the hair was gone but there are about half a dozen sessions left. When she asked to use the sessions for something else they said no. This is what poor customer service sounds like. There are plenty of places out there that offer the same service. Shame on you Body and Soul.

I had an enjoyable experience doing a Reiki treatment with Debbie at Body & Soul Spa. I had never been to Reiki before and she was patient and broke down the treatment in simple terms. They are very kind, accomodating, and explained to me throughouly the process of attending the spa given the covid measures in place. Already I felt safe. They ask that you arrive no earlier than your scheduled time, so they can take the proper precautians. I did just that, and they were there to greet me. All the measures in place worked as a good system to get me into the spa in a sanitary way. The service itself was lovely, felt very relaxing. I've been a regular at this spa for 3 years - the staff are very friendly and they are very accommodating with last minute schedule changes. Debbie and Allie are awesome. Allie used to do my laser treatments, and currently does my hydra-facials. Only reason the spa isn't getting 5 stars is because the Swedish Relaxation massage(s) could use some work. Went there recently and the massage itself lasted 35 minutes, when it was suppose to be 50. It was my birthday month so they give you a great deal (which is incredible); however, the massage felt rushed and I felt that my business wasn't appreciated. Overall, I do recommend this spa, but moving forward I will only go visit Allie.

I ran in late, only to wait at reception for almost 10 minutes while the receptionist was on the phone. There were 2 other employees behind her at the reception desk and neither spoke to me, asked me to sit, apologized or even made eye contact. After a while I realized that the receptionist was busy ordering Swiss Chalet.... We had a couples massage, the messages were okay, but there was no mention to enjoy the room afterwards, or anything at all to make it more than 2 people getting a message in the same room. We've had couples massages elsewhere where they had sparkling wine in the room, the fireplace going, gave us the option to have showers/bath, basically relax in the room for 45 mins to an hour after the massages. Here there was nothing. And one of the therapists was on her phone when we went into the room and as we exited the room....

Starting with touchless hand sanitizer at front door,a step mat and alcohol spraying of bottoms of my shoes once inside,your right given your own slippers to keep,followed by temperature sensitive photo like camera on front desk to digital record body temperature,plexi glass everywhere,this place is impeccable sanitized,clean and has gone the extra mile to make clients feel safe and protected! Right down to her having had all of her staff trained and certified Covid19/infection control program .This Spa is the place to visit to have out of this world treatments and not have to be nervous about your health and safety. I had a 6 laser hair removal package at this spa. The quality of work was really below average at this place. Midway through treatments they changed the aesthetician and it was obvious she is not experienced and my last two treatments with her was really ineffective. In one of my treatments, I think they deliberately lowered the setting of device to reduce the effect and be able to charge me for more sessions. I think their main purpose is to charge you as many session as they can and they don't care about giving good quality service and they have no ethics. They are also not flexible in giving you the appropriate time that works better for you. Anyway, I changed my clinic, I'm much happier with my new results from other clinic.

Never booked. Tried to ask about couples massages and pricing. Got an email back asking what type of massage because this would change the price..fair enough question. I responded asking for the price of both for a couples massage. I got a response back that price varies on type and time and to refer to the website. She also mentioned in the first email that it could be done with an RMT and second email said they cannot. Website does not list any couples massages and I don't understand why you'd ask me what I'm looking for then say one of the options that you offered is not offered then to refer to the site where the price for what I'm asking isn't on there. I went with my boyfriend for a couple's massage on July 27th and it was absolutely amazing. We spent 30min in the Jacuzzi alone and were served champagne and chocolates. After the jacuzzi we each got an hour massage in the room and it was so relaxing. It was my first massage ever and Body and Soul Day Spa exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend has gone to many places and said this place was by far his favorite! We are definitely coming back. The masseuse there are phenomenal. I have never felt so relaxed and well taken care of. The receptionist were very kind and welcoming as well. Definitely recommend to go there for regular massages and for a romantic occasion with your partner or any occasion! So so amazing!

I feel swindled! Some friends and I all pooled our money to get a friend a nice $200 spa package for her birthday. When I bought the package, the lady at the front desk asked me if I had ever been to Body & Soul personally. When I told her that I hadn't, she gave me a $25 gift certificate so that I could try them out. Obviously, I was excited. I booked a manicure for the day before my office Christmas party, clearly stating that I was going to use the gift certificate I was given for the service. The day of my manicure arrives, and the service was passable. Not great, but the lady did an okay job. So after it's all done, I go to the front desk to pay, and I offer the woman my gift certificate. She sees it and says "That's only good when you book at least $50 in services". I take a look at the card and I say, "Well, it doesn't say that on the card". She replies (full of attitude), "Well, that's how it works, so I'm not honoring it". So I ended up paying $40 with tip for a regular plain nail polish manicure!!! I would've gone across the street and had this same service done for $20. Such a rip off. This place came highly recommended to me too. Now I've told everyone I know about how I was ripped off, and I seriously hope that none of them ever come back.

Horrible corporation and very unprofessional. first they take half of massage cost for an appointment but then they never booked my appotinment for RMT- they told me on fridays they have the RMT threapist but it turns out on the day of my appointment when i call to check in, the time, they are like we dont have RMT on fridays which the lady booked me for a friday RMT massage. and on top of it denied that they took my money for the massage with an attitude. never go book with these women!

Terrible place to work at. I am a recent graduate from known aesthetic school. I gave interview with them once. Everything went well and they gave me positive vibes. They asked me to come and practice for 5 hours on second day, and 3rd day again they called me in for shadowing with one of their aesthetician. Again they called me for practice on 4th day. Throughout the process they gave me positive vibes of getting selected. So all together i spend 4 days with them for free. I have no hard feelings for the owner or anyone working there but at least they should have a COURTESY to give me a call and let me know whether i am selected or not, its been 4 weeks now from the date i was interviewed. Such is the place. NO ETHICS AND NO PROFESSIONALISM.

Cleanse and Heal Package Review It feels great to take time to care for yourself, but it feels like an absolute luxury when somebody facilitates it for you. The Cleanse and Heal package is beyond self care. It’s self care that someone facilitates for you. All you have to do is relax, accept, and breathe. I have experienced reiki sessions with Debbie before - and they have changed my life and the way I relate to myself - mind body and soul. On the morning of my Cleanse and Heal package, I could not relax my mind. It was racing. As soon as I got to the treatment room, I saw this glorious, deep, wide bathtub, a bowl of salts, a selection of gorgeous healing crystals, and a range of essential oils for me to choose from. The water was perfect. My towel was on a towel heater. Debbie mentioned she had done 5 minutes of reiki on the bath water as she prepared it for me. I’d never had a reiki bath before but couldn’t wait to get in anyway. Just before Debbie left the room, she provided some instruction. I got in the bath and started to try and calm my mind, which usually takes me some time. The most marvellous rush of calm overcame me. My limbs were heavy, as though they were in a perfect deep sleep. I soon rested my head on the tub pillow and enjoyed the intense relaxation. Thirty whole minutes of deep calm. When I got out and drained the tub, I dried off and changed, then propped open the door to show I was ready. I laid on the reiki table and got comfortable. My calm did not go anywhere. I was deeply relaxed for the entire time. Thank you, Debbie, for facilitating this intensely relaxing treatment. Thank you for working so tirelessly to provide the best possible reiki experience. Thank you for grounding me and for being so knowledgeable. Thank you for being genuine and so easy to talk to. You’re one in a billion. Thank you to the spa for facilitating this package. It's been over a year since I started my facials with Katherine and my acne has been cured for life. I had tried everything possible in the world but was disappointment with no results before meeting Katherine. She changed my life and made me beautiful again. All the guys and girls out there that are suffering from acne or scarring please stop wasting money on creams, medicine and your time waiting to see specialists. My first experience I came along with a party of women for my moms birthday. Everyone was amazing to us, greeted us friendly, made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the hospitable tea and snacks! I’ve been a customer for almost 20 years and I can honestly say that Body & Soul is by far the best spa in the GTA. I get a lot of services done, mostly facials, waxing, mani/pedi’s etc. and always leave feeling amazing. The service is impeccable, the products are top notch, and the employees are always so friendly and knowledgeable. Body and Soul, the name says it all. I have been coming to this place since 2016 and can not find any place that's this top notch in customer care. Today was my first time going to the spa during COVID for a first time Brazilian Wax. I had Ellan who was wonderful. She was so gentle and patient with me so I don't scream lol. I would say every Esthetician who work at Body and Soul are wonderful and really take care of your services, I love it. The safety protocols that they have in place are above and beyond, and I have never felt safer entering Body and Soul. I don't want to forget the front desk receptionist who handles all the clients when they come in and when they leave, to book there appointments and give them recommendations who else can help if you have last min questions. I had a horrible experience at this spa. They are very rude and treat their customers with disrespect. I showed up 5 mins late to my appointment and the lazer technician refused to start my treatment. She made me sit there while she just stood and did nothing. My treatment was supposed to take 5 mins and she refused to start it claiming that since I was late, I would have to wait till her next free appointment, even though she had no one there and I was booked for 15 mins. When i complained, the manager said she could not refund me since it was a groupon. I have used 2 out of the 6 sessions I bought on groupon. They will not refund me and I do not plan on going back.

I was Lucky enough to get my microneedling done by the owner today. I was a bit nervous as this was my first experience in a salon/spa during Covid. They have incredible safety measures in place. It is extremely sanitary. Everything was wiped down right Infront of me. My temperature was taken, I was given brand new slippers, the bench I sat on and the keys to my locker were sanitized. I felt incredibly safe. In addition, the service was amazing. She took so much time on me, talked me through the face prep she was doing, how to limit my acne, walked me through the products I was using. I have been coming here for almost a year and I wouldn’t go any where else. It is a beautiful, clean and professional spa.

I have been going to Body and Soul for years. But I will never step foot in it again after I see the owner or recommend anyone goes there. I went in for electrolysis (1 30 min appointment) and my chin has been damaged beyond belief. There are burns, blisters, craters and overall it is damaged. The amount of time and money needed to fix this is boggling. But it is something I will have to do and will only trust my derm with. Please don't go to body and soul for electrolysis. They don't have the right equipment or techs that can do it right. My chin will be scarred and pocked once everything heals. I have gotten medication (flamazine) from my doctor and a second opinion from another electrologist who both agree that what has happened is not normal. My Dr told me that my chin has been burned and the flamazine will not fix the dents/pocks created by these burns. I honestly don't expect anything, this is just a warning to other people so they won't experience this trauma. This is not a normal outcome, that is one thing I cannot stress enough. Please go somewhere else for electrolysis if you want it done. I chose not to bother going in to see the owner as I would not let anyone at that spa touch me again, I don't trust their opinions and I was told that the owner said the reaction (burns, blisters, etc) are normal. Despite me telling them my dr and the other electrologist disagree. You don't want people like this, who think your skin literally being burned, blistered and dented is normal. I will be seeing my derm, someone who actually has the education and skills needed to fix this.

She has so many years of experience and really knows what she is talking about. I love how she explains each step she is doing and how it is going to better my skin. I feel like each time I leave my skin not only looks better - long and short term but I also learn so much more about my skins unique concerns and how to treat them. The facials are always very results oriented and it really shows! I always get the hydrafacial which is not a regular hydrafacial. Body and Soul adds a special peel (better peel than the hydrafacial one), manual extractions and lights. I would love to try other facials and treatments in the near future from Body and Soul! Also the facility itself is very well kept and the staff are very kind. This spa also carries some amazing skincare brands as well!

The reason I have given it 3 stars is because: - Although I did get a foot massage, my sister did not. And on the website it does state that the pedicure includes a foot massage. Of course she was disappointed. - The price for the pedicure is $40, and I don't its worth the $40. If it were $20 I think itd be a bit more worth it. - I think this place possibly gave me a toe infection. So theres that.

No issues so far. I've been going there for laser hair removal. One dislike which is inconvenient is the requirement to go to the front desk and let them know you have arrived for your appointment and then having to walk back outside to the alleyway where hair laser removal is located. To make it easier for the customer, why not just have the customer go straight to their appointment and have your OWN laser technician call the front desk and verify the customer has come in for their appointment? The owner should look into that. The laser hair removal prices are more expensive compared to other locations I've researched (ie. $99 for a year of unlimited laser hair removal on Lakeshore - Groupon deal??? Who wouldn't want that!?). Also parking can be an issue and if you’re out of luck, you lose your appointment time and the service you came for as well.

So I booked an appointment for 1:00am on a Sunday, 5 days in advance. Since it was a gift for my boyfriend and I, it was a good time since we had a lot to do after 1 was a perfect time. Saturday I got a voice-mail since I was out that they were pushing me to 1:30, which was pushing it a little but I can understand that sometimes life happens. When we got there we came 10 minutes earlier as suggested when I was booking it. I booked the couples escape ( detox bath & massage for 2). I never realized how disappointing it was. We didn't even get to start until 1:55 ( almost an hour later than I originally booked, normally I would have left but since this was a gift I decided to sucks it up and keep waiting) the detox bath.... was literally a bath tub (same corner tub you can usually find in a master bathroom in houses around the area) filled with blue salt .... so that wasn't what I was expecting. .. at least there was some champagne. The massages were nice and relaxing, the ladies were really friendly and comforting (they are only the reason I'm giving two stars). For how much I paid ... I was so disappointed. I wish I spent an extra 100 and went away for one night to a spa instead of paying for disappointing time. I wouldn'd reccomend this place to anybody.

After having driven by this spa for years, I finally decided to try it for myself. I am in my mid-forties and have noticed that over the last several years, my skin appears shiny, even when I use coverup. On top of that, I have noticed the appearance of brown spots (from the sun?) and an unevenness in my skin tone overall. Catherine advised me to try the hydra-facial with lights, in a series of 6 sessions, one every two weeks. I have to say that I was not sure I would see a noticeable change - I was wrong! After the second or third facial, my pores were noticeably smaller, my skin tone was evening out and the redness was reduced. The shiny skin was gone! I am not one to use a regular cleansing, toning routine, etc. but once I saw the improvement in my skin, , I was eager to maintain it. Catherine also recommended I purchase the Environ starter kit which includes cleanser, toner and moisturizer. It was not inexpensive but the bottles are large and I have been using them for months and have not run out yet. I highly recommend the facials and even if you cannot have them done as often as is suggested, it's worth having them done periodically. Body and Soul is my new favourite place for facials!

I have been going to Body and Soul Day Spa for quite some time for various treatments. Last year I tried the new hydra-facials and after only a few sessions, I noticed an improvement on my skin; smaller pores, less blemishes, tighter skin, and an overall more even complexion and glow. I decided to buy a package of hydra-facials which I just completed and WOW! Huge improvement on my skin! One of my girlfriends asked me if I got botox which I have never done before. My skin is tighter, smooth, glowing, little to no pores and the cystic acne I had under my chin has completely cleared with no scars remaining. I have had many facials and I would by far recommend Hydra-facials to anyone - you will definitely notice a difference. I receive my hydra-facials from Catherine who is an expert at hydra-facials and definitely understands and is very knowledgeable with skin care. She is very caring and professional. It is convenient that Body and Soul is close to my home and work - but I enjoy going because they are always on time, clean, very friendly staff and offer very good treatments that show results. We visited this spa as part of a bachelorette party we (the bridesmaids) threw for our friend (the bride) in July. We were all very impressed with the staff and they services they offered. The staff were very welcoming and warm. They served us fruit and drinks in the vault, which was such a great experience. I've been to Body & Soul about 6 -7 times. On my own, as well as with friends. I have to say they are by far the most friendly and accommodating spa I have ever dealt with. The quality of service is superb! The estheticians are friendly and knowledgeable with both services and products. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly receptionists who are always very welcoming. They are a busy spa (which speaks volumes) however have always managed to accommodate my treatments. I have personally dealt with the manager Connie, as well as the receptionist Debbie. Both very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I have seen Catherine who lovely and takes great pride in her work! She is a true expert in facials! She not only is improving my skin, but has educated me in caring for my skin, from the great products they offer, to the proper diet and follow up treatments. I highly recommend Body & Soul! I and my husband decided to take treatment in this spa. I went for body fx, which is composed of 6 treatment in 6 sessions, for which I had payed in advance. The lady (Mays) who was giving the treatment was not at all professional, they had to move my appointments couple of times at the last minute. I went for the treatment and after the treatment none of them informed about the postponing of the last treatment, once I left I get a call asking for postponing the the last session. I said why didn't you guys inform me when I was in the spa and also told them I'm not postponing please refund the last session money. And the lady in the reception (Judy) said will get back to me. In the evening I get a call from Judy. At that time her story was so different she actually started making up stories and I got 2 free treatments without paying. As such I owed them money not the other way round. She was so rude and didn't have any patience to even listen and sort out. Finally after multiple phone calls, commonsense prevailed and they refunded the last session for which service was not provided. Thankfully my husband didn't take any treatments with them. Had a very bad experience never ever I will go to that spa.

Have been going for laser hair removal treatments. Had 3 treatments and saw no difference. Have gone to other places and always used to see some sort of difference with the hair removal in the first 3 treatments. They gave me the Groupon price and i went thinking it has to be good given the location but all my treatments have been useless asked to be treated with the soprano laser instead but they told me its not working. Like really. Asked for a refund too but they just told me they wont do refunds even if i see no difference. In short, please Do not bother with their laser hair removal procedures. My $$$ was wasted and had zero difference in hair removal. Even after 6 sessions!

Went here for a few sessions of laser that were done by 2 employees named Serena and Ally, both were knowledgable and did a great job with making me feel comfortable by answering the questions I had about the treatment. The treatment itself showed great results. I also took my mom in so she could have a spa day that involved a manicure and pedicure that were both done by an employee named Kelly who did an amazing job by being friendly, making my mom feel at ease and giving her a treatment that she still talks about to this day. The front desk is very welcoming, while the manager and owners are both very friendly while also being understanding and responsive to any issues or concerns that you may have. Overall it is a great spa experience and would definitely recommend a trip here.

When I called and booked the appointment, the receptionist was extremely friendly and informative as to their procedures and policies. Once I arrived, again, I was greeted warmly by reception and was offered water and snacks while I waited. Ally did my facial and she was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She seemed honest with her suggestions in terms of what service my face needed. I was SO relaxed throughout the entire process and came out of my facial feeling like I just spent the entire DAY at a spa! The only thing I would suggest is to reconsider prices to stay competitive in an overly saturated market. Thanks again, will be back.

I visited Body & Soul Day Spa for the first time this past weekend, I had booked for a hydra facial with oxygen. The spa itself is beautifully laid out, however I was not really impressed with the esthetician. She was okay, but I felt as if she was pushing me to purchase the Chemical Peel add on with the hydra facial that I had booked for. I had stated my reasoning as to why I did not want to do the peel. I also noticed there was no explanation of the products that were being used on my face..except to tell me this is going to tingle, or this may feel warm, etc. She did try to make conversation, but that lasted about 2-3 minutes. I felt rushed through the whole service, which was not a good experience, considering I spent over $190.00 (and they placed a deposit on my CC upon booking, haven't been to a spa that does that before, but i guess its fine!). My service started at 10:35ish and ended right at 11:25, surprising considering I usually get facials and they last about 1.5 hours (but again, I don't think the esthetician really cared and just wanted the appointment to be over). I really was hoping for a better experience, based on the google reviews most people have written. I think the only reason they even deserve 2/5, is because it's a pretty place. I won't be recommending or returning in the future. I normally get my facials done at Escape at the Spa (which is few doors down from Body & Soul, also on Queen St!). I'll be sticking to them for future.

If you’re looking to be refreshed and reset for 2020, this service, Micro needling also called Collagen Induction therapy is amazing. I was a little apprehensive at first, however the esthetician Ally was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable during the session. Afterwards I was a little red (which is normal) Ally gave me post care instruction to follow, with creams, gels for the next three days. After three days, the results looked amazing. I’m very happy and will go back and consult with Ally on other services specific to my needs. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Me and my friend booked facials here which was a first for us at this spa however I was not terribly impressed. I've had many facials over the years and this was definitely one of my least favourite. The whole service felt so rushed and was not a calming experience for me. The girl didn't take her time with each step of the facial or explain what type of product she was going to apply or its benefits.We were done in less than an hour. I also felt that not enough product was applied where I didn't have the typical glow that I get when I do my facials.

Booked a girls day for massage, mani + pedi... the place doesn't have onsite shower... so left both of us with our hair and body oil which was uncomfortable... and to make it worst, their med + pedi area is tiny and had poor ventilation and was crowded. The staff had to rotate and share the shellac machine... sloppy... "luxury spa" what a joke.

'Ravishing, glowing and flawless are all words which every woman wishes to have their skin described with and interestingly enough I have received all these compliments only after visiting this spa. I have to say all the credit goes to 'Body & Soul Spa' in Streetsville ON. This Spa facility and it's staff are well equipped, very hygienic and appropriate in every way to expertly facilitate the procedure of micro-needling which has produced results of magical proportions. In addition, the skin rejuvenating serums applied after the microneedling procedure(dermapen) are so soothing that any amount of words used would not suffice. The hydra facials are by far the best thing on the market, the tools and products used are high quality and the lights at the end provide a glow you can get no where else. The whole process of the Hydra Facial is satiating in it's every aspect and certainly worth an effort. They accommodate any skin type, and bring out the best of your skin. The staff - Serena, Kelly and Alley (those whom I've had the pleasure of doing my treatments) are all very knowledgable and are all very well versed with all the dimensions of the procedures they perform and efficiency, hygiene and precision is their mainstay. Connie is also just simply amazing! She is always very helpful with managing bookings, very accommodating and is just the sweetest thing. Body and Soul Spa is worth your time and hard earned dollars. I would recommend this Spa facility to all the ladies who aspire to be even more lovely than what they are already, so go ahead and make your day!

I went with a groupon purchase for laser to this place and would describe my first visit as satisfying. The only reason it looses a star is because they tend to delay your next visit. So say if the next visit was due after 6-8 weeks they would put you in a zone for 8 weeks time. I had also requested for additional seervices to be accomodated with my appointment, they blatantly refused. They were good in providing customer service but then I wonder if i am providing for more buisness they are not ready for it. They did not even bother to ask if there was another time which would suit me for accomodating two services together. Considering everything would rate the service as 4 star.
