My mother has used Maurice Pools for years and it was my father who always paid the bills until recently when he fell ill and passed away shortly thereafter. I then took over my dad's roll and on the first set of bills noticed that there were days for cleaning the pool that were charged twice during seperate months. I immediately went into Maurice Pools to have the mistake fixed which was dealt with immediately. My mother then received the end of year bill's which was missing the cost of closing of the pool and AGAIN had "mistakes" where she was being charged for cleaning the pool after the pool had already been closed. I returned to this company only to find they were closed for the winter and were only reachable through phone. I called and spoke to Jaime (the wife) who was not only unprofessional during our conversation but outright rude especially when I brought up the previous incident of being overcharged which she argued that it was not true. I decided I wasn't going to get anywhere trying to deal with someone who chose to act in such a manner and requested to speak to Gerrard (Her husband). Gerrard called me back shortly after hanging up with his wife and we were able to have a civil conversation about the situation where he looked at the bill's and seen the mistake, apologized for it and gave me a new total. I told him the bill for closing the pool was missing and once received a cheque for the total owing would be sent, this was on November 14th, 2019. The bill for the closing of the pool was not received until the end of January 2020. And on it was a note that states for my mother to talk to me because they infact did not over charge....
I am shocked by this because of clearly this issue up already or so I thought. The closing of the pool bill is even dated for September 5th 2019 yet on their August bill they are trying to charge for cleaning of the pool up until the end of September!
I AGAIN called the company to find out what is going on and was unfortunate enough to speak with Jaime again who was unable to help me and couldn't give me a time I could contact Gerrard to deal with this issue once again.
This is no way to run a company and I now feel that I should go back on the the bills for the last 5 years (at least) because of the only 2 times I have dealt with the bills and both times they were overcharging, it makes me wonder how often this happens and if any other customers have been overcharged but simply do as my dad did and just pay the bill's as they come without looking at them.
