Very helpful in trouble shooting our pool needs when I brought in water sample to test. The test is a $2 donation and well worth it. Just don't forget to make sure you bring a toonie with you.
Update:
In summer of 2020 we asked Huronia LeisureScapes to quote us on a new liner as ours was starting to pull away. They came out and said that our liner was in good shape and all we needed was a part to hold the liner back up as part of it had broke. Great! To do this they needed us to drain the pool down. I asked it it was better to do this in the spring or fall and I was told it didn't matter. So, we booked for the fall service so that we could coordinate it with closing the pool, seeing as we had to drain it anyway. We were quoted $200 for them to fix this.
September came and I had noticed the liner had started to pull away in the corner. I called Huronia not sure if they needed to know this because it might mean they needed a different part, etc. I to them that I already had the service booked but that since they last came out another piece had pulled away. They said that was fine, they would make a note of it.
Day of repair comes and two men are out there fixing the liner. They were not able to fix the corner pulling away. Everything seemed great. They left and we proceeded to close our pool.
The next day I get an invoice from them (they have my credit card on file) for double what they originally quoted me. I contacted the store and explained the situation. I was then passed onto Monica who basically berated me for not mentioning I specifically was quoted in the summer and should have given the quote number. I explained to her that when I called in to tell them about the corner, not once was I asked to provide that information. All they asked for was my name and address. Besides that, I also pointed out that we booked that service based on the quote they made in the summer so you would think they recorded it correctly.
Anyway, they never fixed the extra problem and they charged me twice. I should have contacted my credit card company but I didn't think of it at the time.
Fast forward to opening the pool for the season and the liner had dropped back down. When I called Huronia they said that type of work isn't guaranteed and told us to push it back up ourselves.
Needless to say, we haven't been back there since and I refuse to give them business after such horrible customer service. We went to Pioneer Pools in Barrie to have a liner quote based on a recommendation from a friend. We are very excited for our new liner installation in spring of 2022. They were 3500 less (almost half) of what Huronia was going to charge us if we had gone with them to get a new liner.
I wouldn't recommend any service from Huronia (since our fiasco I have heard many complaints from others about issues with their service department and overcharging or charging for services they never performed). I personally won't buy anything from them again, or even get our water tested there. Buyer beware with this company and DO NOT leave your credit card on file (had to for covid to online or curbside pick up shop).
