The staff performing the pedicures were good, but got a little miffed they don't accept gift certificates on Sundays. Don't know why, we paid cash for them in the first place. Don't buy gift certificates from them, they don't honor them like cash.

Great value for money! Strada was renovated a couple years ago and looks great now! The staff are all friendly, the ambience is very nice, the massage chairs are top notch, and we got a drink and cookies with our pedicures. We had a lovely experience and will continue to go back.

My girlfriend and I had a super awesome experience, the technicians did a great job on our pedicures, were polite And the spa was CLEAN!!!! The only thing I would mention that was unpleasant was when we were paying and the girl at the front counter with a face full of piercings was super rude.

We had an amazing pedicure experience at Strada today! Four of us went for the hot stone pedicure and we all had excellent treatments, but Jessica really stood out and went above and beyond! She did a specialty nail job for one of us and did great job even though it was a challenging request. While the estheticians were awesome, the massage chairs were so outstanding that we all talked about buying one and doing a time-share. After some less than positive experiences elsewhere, we will definitely be going back to Strada for pedicures from now on instead!

Great salon. Normally come here only for permanent make up. Nalya is the best! Knows what she is doing, knowledgeable and very friendly. The salon offers wide spectrum of services: mani/pedi, body treatments and wraps, facial, massage, waxing. Staff could use a smile though.

Went in for a shellac manicure and a paraffin treatment for my hands. The décor was nice and the welcoming staff was friendly enough, however the trouble started when the aesthetician started showing me the new products they offered, I immediately picked out the matte top coat at her raving recommendation then proceeded to plan my nail colour, shape, and design around the assumption that we'd be using matte. For the most part my aesthetician seemed pretty nice, however I felt she was highly critical of things like the natural shape of my nail and the way my skin grows - things definitely beyond my control. Also as she was cutting away any hangnails from around my nails she actually cut into my skin quite deep and when I flinched in pain she made no apology. Also, not to mention that when she was taking off my old nail polish she left my hands soaking for a good 45 needless minuets. Finally when the nail polish was on and she tried putting the matte topcoat on she just couldn't get the matte to cure and eventually gave up, kept them shiny, gave me some ombre sparkles on one of the nails and took $5 off for the "hassle". Now note, I came into the spa at 4:00 and left after 6:00, it took them 2 hours to do a simple shellac manicure, I also never received my paraffin treatment because they were wanting to close, not to mention I had to ask for her to give me any hand cream at all - there was no massage or anything. At the end I still had to pay around $40 for a manicure that I didn't want as I had based the manicure on the assumption of being able to use the matte and would've gotten something completely different had I known it wouldn't work or had I been offered something else and not rushed out of the spa. I'm hoping this time round was just an off day for them, but regardless, I've gotten better service at quick run of the mill nail salons than I did here. I'm sadly very disappointed.

Rude staff, non claimable massages for insurance purposes which I was TOLD were claimable 3 weeks ago when the appointment was made. Didn't find out till the morning of the appointment that they WEREN'T Claimable. We ended up getting squeezed in elsewhere

An appointment was made a week in advance for 4 pedicures. Two of the people in my group were started right away. The third person was started after about 15 minutes of waiting. I however was started 30 minutes after my appointment was made. I would have liked to have been told that I was going to have to wait that long. I doesn’t make sense why I had to wait that long. My pedicure was nice but the wait tainted my experience.

Horrible experience. I got the relaxation massage. The masseuse was not friendly or personable. There was some sort of house music playing with loud Netflix commercials during the massage. The masseuse started the massage late and ended it early. She said she would meet me out with a glass of water afterwards but just sat it near the cash register and never talked to me. The bed was uncomfortable, my head didn't fit right in the hole. I explained to the receptionist and she told me the reason for the music and commercials was because the computer froze but it went on for the whole massage. She said I needed to speak up more if I wanted a better experience or more comfort. I've provided excellent customer service for years and know that it is not the job of the customer to make the experience worthwhile. STRADA never answer their phones and it just doesn't seem professional. Personally, I think the decor is gaudy, but that's just me. I would recommend ten spa, thermea, riverstone or any other professional spa 100 times more than this dive. Sorry, just need to be honest.

The facials are used with wonderful-high quality products, and a relaxing head, neck, shoulder, arm massage throughout. My friends and wife all loved their services too (Facials and Massages). Free parking, and not too busy. Good COVID precautions in place. Will definitely be back! :)

Received a shellac pedicure from Karolina today. As a 37 week pregnant women I was super comfortable and relaxed, she even went around my ankles while massaging my legs which only a knowledged esthetician would know to do! I’m very happy about that. I 100% recommend Strada to anyone looking for a place to unwind. Take their time and don’t make you feel rushed or pushed out of the door????????

We were booked at Posh and they were not able to accommodate so we were relocated to Strada - what a nice surprise! The setting was clean, comfortable and well worth the short walk down the street from Posh Nails. I received a pedicure and it looks great - the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The front of House leader (I can't recall her name) was fantastic, professional and very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy more services while in Winnipeg.

I BELIEVE my lovely Greek goddess was named Alissa? It started with an "A" and I'm AWFUL at names, ill update my next visit OR maybe she'll see this and remind me (**hint hint?**) My FIRST TIME going here, I had previously loyally gone to the same salon since I was 16! (Almost 15 YEARS) AND ONLY allowed one certain man to handle my nails as I have extremely delicate and sensitive nails and MUST avoid bacteria due to severe health complications but WOW.. I'm officially a STRADA LIFER!!! I'm going to swing thru just to get my nail techs card ... she only glanced at my example photo once and for a mere maybe 30 seconds and within 5 minutes I was already set up at a chair booth *super comfortable! and CLEANNNN!!!** and she had color matched IDENTICAL to the pictures and was already starting my new full gel nail set! (My first non acrylic) The ENTIRE appointment she exchanged friendly quickly intelligent and authentic conversation with not only myself but ALSO managed to respectfully include my male spouse the entire 1.5 hours also! #nowthatstalent We we treated like family not just a client... She ensured that I was educated and prepared for the entire process (asked about my sensitivities and therefore ensured that during gel curing, she had me do only 2 nails at a time, in 3 second intervals, as the gel heats up when curing under the lamps and was WAY to hot if I didn't, she made the entire experience PAIN FREE!) Supplies were all in sealed sterilized packaging and good quality tools. She even switched nail dremels and took EXTRA time to ensure she didn't burn cut or over-file. Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had. Priced EXTREMELY well, and wow is the gel strong and has beautiful color retention... I hope she never leaves! Thank you A! Sincerely Ray♡ *oh..and Colin tooo lol (he even wants to try a pedicure with me next time!)

I arrived a bit early for my chocolate scrub and Alexis immediately assisted me and asked me to wait in the lounge. I was then moved to the room where my treatment took place. The atmosphere was perfect. ALEXIS you did amazing. Very professional, clean premises and followed all protocols necessary. The spa is very welcoming and beautiful inside. Everything is clean and sparkly. The staff are very friendly. I had a relaxation massage which was quite relaxing. The massage room was very nice with a gas fireplace that reflected on the ceiling. The music was what was playing in the foyer of the spa so it wasn't overly relaxing, I would just ask next time to play meditative music in the massage room. The reason i cant give 5 stars is because the massage started 15 minutes late even though I was the first appointment of the day and the massage oil used was too fragrant even after I said that some essential oils bother me. Once I figured out that the massage oil was scented, I asked if she could use another one and she had to leave to go get it. Then She couldn't get back in and I had to get up and open the door for her which does affect your relaxation. However I was still very pleased overall and would definitely go back.

Firstly, the spa is stunning! It has a very relaxing and welcoming vibe, I felt very comfortable being there. Xenia and Allysa were very comforting. Xenia is very well knowledgeable in her field and knew exactly how to treat my problems. She did a facial for me. My skin was so soft and blemish free afterwards, she was able to find the perfect combination of treatments for my sensitive and dry skin. I am so happy with the results, my skin was just glowing and all my pores cleaned. It was very soft for the following week. I didn't even have to moisturize. 10/10 would recommend to all. I only have great things to say about both of them and the business!

My pedicure was disappointing and a rip-off. I get pedis primarily to buff up my heels and for nail art - neither of which I ended up with... I have no idea how this is possible but my heels are rougher than before my appointment. My sense is that it was not the esthetician's technique but more so the tool used to buff my feet. I asked the owner when making my appointment if the esthetican working on me was able to do nail art and he assured me that would be the case. My esthetician was not experienced with nail art and so another esthetician was delegated the task. Long story short, the nail art was not to my liking (was supposed to be a flower but looked like an autumn tree with no leaves) and so I requested that the design be removed. It took two additional staff members to get the plain polish back on my big toes. I was at the salon for a total of 2 hours which I think is fairly ridiculous for a basic pedi that falls short. Please note that the regular pedicure does not include a scrub. :( I am giving two stars because my initial esthetician was friendly and did a good job on the surface of my nails with scraping cuticles. I was also given 10% discount "for the trouble".

Hope this post will help those who are thinking of visiting Strada for the first/next time… Went to Strada last weekend. My husband bought me a package of luxury manicure/pedicure, deep clean facial and a full body massage, as he wanted me to fully enjoy spa! I have mixed feelings towards the servicing at Strada. One lady greeted me at the appointed time and said she would be the one who would take care of me (one lady for 4 hours?? An unusual multi-skilled all-in-one case…) We started with pedicure which was absolutely great. The massaging chair was greatly relaxing and the whole procedure was done to my full satisfaction (note: I am not too demanding, but I prefer when services are provided properly). Then we proceeded with manicure. Before starting I indicated that I would like to have a classical French manicure, with simple art work on my ring fingers. Well, my hands were not soaked before the manicure, and the lady started removing bumps (I had minor ones on thumbs, all other nails were good) with a harsh file. As a result a lot of scratches were left on top of my nails. I thought maybe she had some special oils to eliminate those scratches… I was wrong! She did French, and left me for 20 min (!!!) to dry my nails out (cause she had another client at this time). Of course, when she was reminded by her colleagues, that I was waiting for her, and the room should be vacated for next clients, she rushed back to me, and totally forgot about art work I requested in the beginning. Of course, all scratches on my nails are perfectly seen after a pink see-through coat was applied. I indicated that to her, and she pretended she could not understand the reason of me being upset. Of course, she had no time to redo my nails, and I was invited to the hall to have a seat, as the room for a facial and massaging should get ready in several minutes. So I waited 10 min and we proceeded. Facial: Nice massaging, but cleaning was not done properly, only half (!!) of the T-Zone, and she said as soon as we (hm… I did not volunteer to dry my nails for 20 min!) were behind time cause she spent much of it for removing blackheads (half of the T-zone!!, 7 min maximum), she would proceed with massaging while the facial mask is on… Though the massage was good enough, I was pretty upset, as half of services (manicure and facial) were not done properly, and just a waste of money. All of this was accompanied by the same question “How do you like it here? How do you like the services?” every half an hour. That became annoying after the second time… Today is Monday, my visit was on Saturday, and the polish from my manicure has started chipping off… Is that how the luxury manicure should be (bad scratches, no requested art-work, chipping off one day later)? I do not think I will recommend this place to my friends. Not worth the money they charge

Went for the first time last weekend for a luxury pedicure! What a great experience. I had the chance before my pedicure to pick my nail colour, and there was a wide selection of brands and colours. I was offered a drink, and the pedicure took place in a massage chair. I had that thing on the whole 2 hours- it was amazing! The woman who did my pedicure really took care of my feet and met my needs wonderfully. The only issue I had with my service was that it was clear the staff were overwhelmed- it was very busy that day. Staff didn't seem to be getting adequate breaks so one was eating AND answering the phone while cleaning out the foot tubs. Overall, great experience, my feet look good, and I will definitely be back!

Booked a couple's massage and confirmed multiple times that it was a couple's massage and not a manicure (as the person on the phone initially said he'd book me for a manicure). A day before our appointment, when they called me, they said I was booked for a manicure! I've since rebooked with a competitor because if a spa can't get something as simple as appointments done correctly, they do not deserve my hard-earned money. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was at Strada Spa this evening for new gel nail application. I got along well with the technician. She seemed like a great person. I don't normally come to this spa, but won a gift certificate at work, so took advantage of the gel nail special. When it came time to filing the tips, I started to feel burning and stinging on the pinky finger, she moved on to the index finger and felt the same pain. When I pulled my finger to look, the pinky was bleeding because she had cut into the skin with the nail file. I showed it to her and she immediately pulled a bottle of blue solution that was right beside her station and said this is a blood stopper. She started filing again, the middle finger and started feeling the same pain. I asked her to stop. I told her that I wanted the tips removed. She immediately got defensive saying it was an accident and people make mistakes. I realize that, however, one nail would have been a mistake, 2 and a third one starting to burn? She was more worried about getting paid and said that I still had to pay full price for the service because it was her time that I was wasting. I asked to speak to a manager and she didn't get one. I asked a girl that walked by who the manager was and she said she was. I told her what happened and that I wanted to speak to the owner. After much back and forth I was on the phone with Anthony the owner, I told him what happened, he said he was sorry and would offer a free pedicure. I told him no. My biggest concern was that the last thing I needed was an infection. He said that their salon was clean. I said even the smallest cuts from dirty tools in a nail salon could cause infections. I didn't see any of the tools being used come out of brand new packaging or a clean tray like the owner and the manager of the store mentioned. I was sitting in the waiting room for quite a while and the nail table was visible from where I was sitting. The tools were there and who knows if they were clean. He asked to speak to the technician, in front of me the technician told him that I was making my situation more tragic that it actually was and that it simply looked like a paper cut and that the skin wasn't even cut. She said that I was lying. I told them that I was not paying for anything out of my pocket. I gave them back the gift certificate that I had won and after the nails were removed I walked out. You know it's one thing to cut a person open with your tools, to degrade them and call your customer a liar is another thing when the evidence is right in front of you. It's very unprofessional.
