I had a fantastic experience at Hypnotic Salon Spa! I went in for a 1 hour massage, provided by Lori Miller. She did a great job! My upper back had knots and definitely needed straightening out. The environment was clean, relaxing and professional. This multi service location also contained a hair salon, mani pedi stations, and great staff. Looks like i'll be coming back! I really enjoyed the conversations, the outgoing atmosphere and left feeling like jello! Great pricing, great location, and great ownership. Keep up the good work!

I've had good service here for manicures and pedicures, but don't bother trying to book an appointment online as you will not get a response in the promised 1 business day turnaround. Also, when you phone to book that appointment and let them know you had problems with their online system, no apology will be offered. I'm continuing to go to this salon only because I have gift certificates to use.

I have been going here for about 3 years now. I was originally turned on to this place through my dealfind voucher. I had no problems booking, however I did call asap. I have had multiple services done here and all have been excellent. I use Lori RMT on a regular basis for an amazing massage, and they managed to fit me in a few weeks ago with Erica RMT when I had an acute problem. Both ladies are fabulous, very professional and they end with the hot towel on your face which is heaven! I also see Kayla in the salon. So good with cut and amazing with color. Takes the time to figure out what you want(even if you don't know what you want) Amazing for my curly hair and my curly haired daughter(4) has started seeing her as well. Great head massage and shampoo and a lovely hand massage while waiting on the toner. I recommend the ladies at Hypnotic to anyone who asks. Especially for massage therapy, they have some fabulous therapist's here. Go, I have never had a problem, courteous, polite service when you walk through the door. Always take your coat, get you a drink, etc.

Poor customer service. Been there twice with my coupon and not looking forward coming back for the third one. And probably won't. Massage appointment been cancelled twice by them. If the massage therapist is not on site then maybe don't offer massage? The haircut (including wash, cut and styling) was done under 20 min... efficient, which is great, but while hairstylist rushed she definitely forgot about quality. Not happy with that haircut. Not the first time notice that if client comes to salon with a certificate or coupon customer service is often worse. Aren't those coupons meant to attract new clients?

Wow. Anyone who knows me knows I have purchased and used numerous groupons/teambuys/etc over the past few years without any issue. As I am living on my own they are the most economically way for me to fit a haircut into the budget, or even..indulge! Gasp! With my boyfriend being transferred out to Brandon recently, for work, I was definitely looking forward to the massage I had scheduled with Hypnotic Salon Spa tomorrow at noon. Things have been so dark and difficult I was looking forward to the chance to relax and escape for an hour. I was even more excited when I got the confirmation call from them yesterday, since I had been having the most difficult time booking an appointment with them. Every week when I would call I would be told to call back at a later date. This began on April 10th when I purchased my coupon. Finally about 2 weeks or so ago I was able to book an appointment for tomorrow at noon. Seeing as I had even received the appointment confirmation I figured I was in the clear. Apparently not. I just got off the phone with them again and the woman cancelled my appointment for tomorrow, without providing any explanation. ..less than 24hrs before the appointment. I was forced to reschedule for July 7th at 230, but seeing as my coupon expires on July 16th I am dreading the call telling me my appointment has once again been cancelled. What am I supposed to do then? This has easily been the most STRESSFUL massage I have ever experienced, and I haven't even stepped foot in the salon yet. I honestly would be happier with a refund at this point, customer service is clearly not the main focus here.

The staff is extremely friendly, and I always leave with a sense of renewal. Their undivided attention makes me return time after time. It is my 'go to' place for 'me' time.

Worst customer service ever, charging you for $ 115 and giving you a receipt for $ 84, selling all as package and when you call their owner/ manager Susan she talks about donation , free service and illegal stuff for no reason and hangs up phone on you . Will repot this to BBB so that they don’t miss treat any other customer.

Terrible service.... Took an afternoon off work to get a haircut and color. When I got there, the girl at the desk informed me that my stylist has cut her finger that morning and that there was no one to do my hair....Accidents happen, I get that, but someone could have called and informed me before I drove across town to my non-existant appointment. They asked me then to go and they would call me back with a new appointment, have not heard from them... needless to say I will not be going back.....

My experience with Hypnotic Salon Spa was great! The staff there are very friendly! When I got there I was offered a cup of tea, coffee or water! Then my hairdresser Rachel came along took me in gave me a neck massage then put a conditioner in my hair so had to sit for 10 minutes in the mean time one of the staff came along and gave me a hand massage! Then Rachel was back to wash my hair and I got a head massage she then cut and styled my hair... love it! Rachel was wonderful I would go back to her in a heart beat!

I was referred to Gabbie for cut and colour services, and knew right away I would be happy at Hypnotic Salon! Gabbie is friendly and listens, offers suggestions and advice when you want it and is knowledgeable about the products she uses. She has worked hard to find products for me that do not activate my allergies, whether styling, doing highlights or root colour. I also went here with a groupon. While I found the staff to be very friendly, I cannot recommend going here. I got a mani and a pedi and BOTH chipped within a day! And I wasn't hard on my nails and I let them dry properly. I think it was just poor quality nail polish they use. That or they layered it on too thick. Also, they don't know how to do designs on your nails. The best they offer is a gem....but even I could do that. For the price they charge, I would expect that they would know how to do designs and the whole works. I should also note that I get pedicures fairly regularly from other nail salons and they usually don't chip for approximately 2 weeks. So to be chipping within a day is unacceptable.

I booked an appointment at Hypnotic because it was an Aveda salon, and my experience with Aveda colourists has always been top notch. When I booked my appointment, I asked for their most senior colourist. Although my colourist was pleasant, my experience was dreadful. Despite looking at picture of hair colour with him and another colourist there (I later learned that she was the most senior colourist there) I left with dark brown hair. This is after spending over a YEAR getting my hair to the correct shade of red. I am so disappointed. I called to speak to the manager as soon as I got back from the appointment, and the receptionist was not very helpful. Polite, but really couldn't help me. I called back this morning to speak to the manager, and wasn't really given much information; she promised to speak to the owner. I proceeded to call Aveda, was directed to corporate, who in turn had me call Collega, their distributor in Canada. I received a phone call from the district rep this afternoon. She had spoken to the owner of the salon, and told me that they would be getting back to me next week. I feel that I should have been given the courtesy of a phone call today, after I had already called the salon twice. Clearly this is not an important matter to them. I know that it is "only hair" but I feel misled. To me, the Aveda sign on the door represents talent, excellent guest services and superior colourists. I feel that I received none of those. My recommendation for anyone considering an Aveda salon is to avoid Hypnotic and go to Salon Pop, Oxfords or Hair 2 Dye for. Edited to add: After being promised a full refund from the district manager of AVEDA for Winnipeg, I went to Hypnotic to process the transaction. I was told by the owner that they would no longer honour their promise because of the negative review I left here. I guess I should not be surprised by their complete lack on integrity, but I believe it is incomprehensible that given the opportunity to do the right thing, they did not. I was fully prepared to edit this comment to reflect the fact that they did refund my money in full, but instead I have returned to share how this experience continues to highlight the unprofessional qualities of this salon.

As a man, spas can sometimes seem as though they are meant for women only. This is not the case at Hypnotic. From the moment that I walked in, I felt very welcome. I had 5 different services and 3 different people took care of me, Lori, Kendra and Daneka. They were all very professional and helpful. They made me feel like I did not want to leave. I will definitely be back and highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to be pampered.

I did not have the greatest experience at the salon spa. I had paid to get my eyebrows waxed and when I came out of their salon spa, I ended up with 0 eyebrows! She waxed off more than I wanted without a thought to what she was doing to me. I am extremely disappointed and sad with how they turned out. Do not go here if you want to keep your eyebrows!!!!!

Beautiful salon, that's not a question. The haircut itself was atrocious though. I swear she had never cut hair before - didn't know what layers were or how to face frame. I had to literally show her what to do to fix the horrendous job she did on my hair. I was looking for a new salon to make my regular, but I am never going back here.

Experienced my first ever massage today at hypnotic salon which was done by Lori Miller. As soon as you walk in you notice how welcoming and comfortable the atmosphere is and are greeted by friendly staff. Lori then walked me through what would take place and the whole time interested in my questions and if I had concerns. Within minutes she had located areas I have had issues with and pain for years with out me saying a word . At this point minutes in I knew I would be back again. The massage area was a therapy in itself . The decore and lay out was impressive blended with music that would make an insomniac sleep. The massage lasted a hour and literally felt like minutes which is my only complaint which is obviously not on hypnotic. The price was very fair and in fact lower then I had anticipated having not looked into it before hand. All arround I can't say enough good about my visit today. I highly recommend them to anyone for pain relief like myself or for relaxation. My next visit can't come soon enough . Thank you Lori and hypnotic staff.

Very poor customer service. Last week, I had called Hypnotic and had a discussion with an employee. I called back again this week and talked to someone else and she gave me a completely different response to the same question I had. When I said the last person I talked to said differently, she got defensive and condescending. If the first employee made a mistake in what she told me, the second employee shouldn't have made me feel like I was imagining the first conversation. She should have instead apologized for the wrong information and tried to rectify the situation. Instead she was just snarky. Yuck. I won't ever be a customer there. And I hope you won't either.

Went there with coupon. Was told would be offered a half an hour massage in the package with a receipt of $57 which is the rate for half an hour massage. I was offered to extend the massage to one hour and was told would be given a receipt for the total amount of the massage. After the massage i was given a receipt for $57 even though I paid $56 extra. When called they said they would have given a receipt of $57 even if we had not extended the massage and even after the extension they gave us that even though we paid double technically. She also said the hour massage is $84 so why charge me $56 extra???Worse customer service. Used words such as DONATION and accused us of fraud. Not even worth a star but need to do that in order to write a review

Coming from a tom boy background i know little when it comes to fashion and Style! No worries at Hypnotic as my stylist Katya was able to suit my needs and my lifestyle but still add sexy and sassy to the mix. What a make over! Would recommend Hypnotic and Katya to anyone that wants and needs a confident Stylist and fashion liason. As for the Teambuy/Dealfind users: I believe that you leave unfair opinions as the company you purchased them through is not Hypnotic. Merchants are at the front of bad reputation due to misinformation by such Online Companies. Expiry dates and limits on these such vouchers are necessary to be fair to the staff and to the company as they do not receive the amount you paid. Please understand that this Company has been fair and firm with all their promotions.
