I went here for 1 hour deep tissue massage. I've had back problems since I was young and I saw a massage therapist regularly when I was 13 - 14. I was hoping for my pain to be validated and to receive a massage similar to what my old one did, but unfortunately that is not what happened. I asked for more pressure because I could take it/that's what I need, but I was told I was being "warmed up". This did not build up to the pressure I needed. I was also generally unhappy with the techniques used overall. The "therapist" also asked what my old name was when I told her I was transgender (extremely rude), and also referred to me as 'girl' at the end of our session, and her sloppy correction of "guy, girl - whatever, you get it!" was deeply offensive to me. When I disclosed I was waiting for surgery before moving to Europe, she asked for what, and I had to disclose my double mastectomy. I acted like everything was okay for survival, because in my experience, challenging or calling out these types of people does not end well. I just wanted to get out of there wirh no further issues. I will not be returning. But if you're not transgender and looking for RELAXATION and not actual therapy, then I guess this place would be suitable for you, but to me, it was a total waste of my time and money. The difference in my muscles barely lasted til the end of the day. It was done at 1:30 - 2:30; I was sore again by 10PM, and the next morning, my pain level was back where it originally was. Not recommended for the serious lack of professionalism regarding transgender people and not giving me what I needed (deeper pressure) despite asking 3 or 4 times.

It was a real inconvenience for the receptionist to make an appointment for me on Tuesday January 26 for the 27th...not friendly at all, just plain rude when I called.Her name was Jasmine and she said she was busy with other customers....obviously customers more important than me I guess...and therefore she would call me back in 5 minutes. After an hour of waiting I decided to call her back. Barely remembered who I was. Today the 27th was another condescending event with no greeting just an attitude with an attitude that made you feel that I was interfering with her activities when I walked in. I was to immediately pay before going in and she would send me a receipt by email. Getting a printed copy was out the questions due to a jammed printer with no resolution..full stop. I have yet to receive my receipt via email.

I’ve been on their Corydon location where the clinic looks so nice and classy. The ambiance is so relaxing and calming. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful and acknowledge my presence the moment I came in. I was introduced to Heidi as my massage therapist who is very friendly as well and gave me a total package for a 1hr full body massage. It was literally from head to toe and the best massage I had so far. I will definitely go back and be one of their regular clients for sure! Now I know why they have been awarded as the consumer choice for best massage clinic here in Winnipeg for 3 consecutive years! More success!

I've been going to Advance Massage Therapy Clinic for the last few years to treat my chronic neck pain and my experience has always been fantastic. They have a great team of therapist ( male and female ) that can treat various conditions. The front office is inviting, clean and relaxing. I love that the bathroom is stock with many different products that you can use to freshen up after a massage. Which is nice if you're not going right home after your appointment. Definitely recommend it!

I went to this place once, was first time and last one. I payed for full massage 60 min, I had massage for 35 min on my back only you can imagine that ? and about 10 min on my legs without feet. I didn't say even one word to therapist , the manager was in the reception and she asked me about the service but she didn't got the answer from me , she knows what happened because my time was quick. bad experience

I never had a bad treatment no matter who I see. They always go out of their way to accommodate you when possible even if it's last minute, they will do their best. This place is awesome for a high quality therapeutic massage. The lobby is cute and it is small and comfortable. My massage therapist did an amazing job last time. She is very strong and focused on the areas of my body which were really bothering me... I was sore for a couple of days after (which is normal) and then I felt super light and my pain was gone! I have booked an appointment for the next 2 months. Which I'm so excited for! It really makes a difference for me.

Love love love the massage staff (a big thank you in particular to Sukhi and Jillian). However, reception has not once returned a phone message that I've left. I have had to call back after leaving a voicemail the last 3 times to get an appointment. When I finally get someone on the phone, she knows that I've left a message because she says "Oh yes" ... so the message has been received, just not returned. There is no apology for not returning the call - as a matter of fact when I speak to the receptionist I find her very indifferent and a bit rude. If there is not the intention to return phone messages, then there should be a message on the machine that says that the "mailbox is not monitored and is for information purposes only". This is inconvenient and not very professional.

I didn't have the greatest experience when I went in for a massage, however, upon learning this, the owner called me personally to correct the situation. Not only did she take my concerns seriously, but she apologized and worked to rectify the situation. I couldn't have asked for a better response and I will be going back to try again. - It is 2 years later and I have now had consistently great service. It’s my go to for massage. I’ve now upped the stars from 1 (before the manager contacted me) to 4 (once contacted by the manager) and now to 5! They have 4 locations so I can always get in to one pretty quickly⭐️

The therapist cut my 60 minuets service to 45 minutes. I understand that I was late about 5 minutes but I was waiting for her to get ready for about 10 minutes. I was charged 3 dollars for direct billing fee which was never mentioned a single word about by the receptionist. I have never charged for this kind of fee for other places even your grant location.

Great place, has students time to time. Provides a wide range of services like, acupuncture, acupuncture with electrodes, acupressure, fire cupping, reflexology, relaxation massage, deep tissue massage. All therapists are RMT's except for their students. 30 min/ 45min/ 60min/ 75min/ & 90min massages are available. Direct billing to most insurance companies. They also have 2 locations so if you are looking for someone with a better technique you have a wide range of therapists to choose from. Very relaxing rooms with heated beds if wanted as well as nice aromas. Special oils available as well as candles, and bath salts for use at home. The candles are signature name and Manitoba poured I believe.

Place is modern and clean. They sanitize and clean the rooms in between appointments. What I love is that the rooms are dark which is perfectly comfortable, also, essential oils and soft music to complete the experience. Ambar was my therapist and she was very professional. She makes sure that she's giving me the best service possible and made me comfortable during my treatment. My husband was also very pleased with the treatment given by Katarina. In fact, we already made our next appointment!

Booked session online. Very easy. They ask questioned on how you feel and if anything is wrong. Deep tissue massage feels really good and gets those kinks out. Also very understanding to how much pain you can take and lessen it if it's too much and also give good pointers on stretching and such.

I suppose I could just go to a place closer to me but I happen to randomly call Advanced Massage on Corydon Ave. It is a good 30 min drive and worth it. From the moment the most sweetest, patient and helpful receptionist picked up and helped me, I knew I was in good hands. I needed a therapist that wasn't going to shy away from helping me with my tight back and shoulders. I was a babbling mess and Jazz set my appointment with Russell. He is absolutely the best. I'm not talking about a light are you really there massage, it's let's get a person back to normal, where a person isn't a wound up spring. I can't speak about the other locations but Corydon, is where you should start and finish.

So this place is beautiful. Sadly when your face down on a table wanting a good massage Aesthetics only go so far. Have been here twice. First time was forgettable but ok. When booking the second time reception asked if I️ wanted same therapist. I️ said let’s try someone different. The most recent massage last week was just not very good. Therapist was super friendly and professional but maybe she didn’t know what she was doing? Full body massage was requested. She never did my arms, neck, pecks or hands. She never turned me over. I’ve been getting massages for over a decade and my mom was a massage therapist for 20 years. Never had someone not do half the body when requesting full body. When she’s like ok that’s our time it was confusing. Should have had a clock under my table so I️ could ask her to flip me and finish my massage or to even just stroke over my arms a couple times. Also a new knot has turned up where she was awkwardly pressing my shoulder mid back. Also has never happened after a massage. Again, VERY nice girl and professional. Not a good massage. I’ve never said that before.

Charges extra ($3) for direct billing and I was not informed prior. I saw it too late at the counter after I already paid. Plus, I have been to other Advanced locations where services were a lot better. My partner received a "moisturiser rub". Very disappointing. Therapist never asked feedback about the pressure. Avoid if you do not want extra charges and don't know your therapist.

My wife and I have been going to Advanced Massage for over 7 years now. We have had many great therapists over this time, and between the Grant & Corydon locations, we each have a few therapists that we see regularly at any given time. Most often, we both get 1 hour treatments. However, over the past year or two, we've both noticed that every 2nd or 3rd visit, we are being cut short of time by either 5 or 10 minutes. It is understandable if we show up right at our start times and lose 5 minutes due to prepping in the room or such (because that is on us), or the very odd occasion that therapists are pressed into time traps for whatever reason, but it seems that it has become a constant. Additionally, for all the years we had been attending, I had not been receiving any of the free visits because I did not own a smart phone for collecting via the app. By the time I did get a smart phone, I was close to having enough visits collected, and was told that this system is no longer valid, and that their current system would know how many visits I was collecting towards free visits. My wife had inquired a few years back about allowing me to take her smartphone to collect on my visits, and was told that we can't do that. We've developed some good relations over the years with a few of the past therapists, even to the point of temporarily lending some household items to a great therapist's family (which he is a great therapist, a good guy, and was the only time I ever got a free visit, which was out of his appreciation). It's unfortunate that it has come to the point where my wife and I feel that we are being taken for granted as long time regulars, while we've been very understanding of losing 5 mins here and there when schedules are tight. It's very upsetting that we have to look for a new place when we have been with Advanced for so long.

Upon entering I found this location (Grant) to be rather 'dated" small and congested. Narrow hallway and rooms off to each side. It just didn't have professional look. Receptionist and therapist were quite friendly and pleasant. Other employees who are not currently assisting clients should be crowding the front, sitting, on a stool and playing on a phone. Although the therapist I had was nice and sympathetic to my needs, I do not believe she really had the experience that I needed. One thing that really disappointed me was at the end of the session, boom she was gone. No time for a brief chat, didn't see me to the front. IMO not a personable policy. Might be a good place for a simply relaxing type message.

I've gone to see Olivia a few times already for a massage and let me say she is excellent at her job. She really focuses on your problem areas and relieves all your pain. Olivia has such great technique when giving massages. Also had a fantastic cupping treatment done from her. Was hesitant at first because I had never gotten cupping done before but I felt amazing afterwards. Olivia makes you feel relaxed and has such great presence. I highly recommend her when looking for someone who not only gets the job done, but to the best of their ability. You can tell that Olivia enjoys what she does.

I visited the new Corydon location this evening (same shopping plaza, just a couple doors down) and WOW! Beautiful space and wonderful staff. I saw Brenda and she was truly amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever felt this relaxed after a massage. She is very talented and takes the time to explain why you might be experiencing tension in one area or another, and gave me a couple stretches to do at home to ease pain between massages. The owner/manager Carla is also an excellent businesswoman, she genuinely cares about her clients and wants everyone to walk away happy; she will make it right if you aren’t. Can’t wait to come back! Was really really impressed at all of the staff from reception to the therapists. Each therapist was great with tailoring our individual massages to suit our needs. The new Corydon location is BEAUTIFUL! I felt right at home from the second I walked in. From the beautiful spa music being played, the smell of the candle burning, right to the lemon water that I was offered, everything was perfect they even have an infrared sauna! The receptionists are always so friendly and helpful and were able to get me in last minute- I even got a mini tour as it was my first time at the new location. I have also been to the Grant location, and I have seen many of the different therapists, some are more experienced than others, but the overall experience is great, and the place is clean and I like the parking. Its super easy. I would recommend this place to everyone, and also tell you to try a couple of different therapists until you find your fit. Everyone is really nice!

I just went to this beautiful space. What an amazing treatment I had with Stacey! The pressure was just perfect! Deep, but not killer deep. I was Lucky to have a little peek at some of the other offerings. I am definitely going to book the infrared sauna when I go next. They have a AMAZING couples room.. now if I just had a partner.lol.. Maybe I will treat myself to myself next time. I appreciate this location for the parking. I have a hard time with stairs, and also I don't want to cruise around looking for a spot. No stress is the way I like it. I literally parked 10 feet from the door. I was greeted with the warmest hello, and got into my appointment a little early. I also have to say that I was out past 8pm, so my massage was really for an hour. I know that therapists have to assess and talk and that technically is part of the time, but I truly did appreciate the way she handled the transition from the greeting to the massage. I guess what I am saying here is that this place is legit! This is a really well run business, and you can tell that everyone knows what they are doing. I have also gone to other places where the place is frenzied with people running around. I like a calmer, cooler environment, because I can be frenzied on my own. Check them out! Stacey is great!

First impression...im bloody annoyed. They have signage which says they do direct billing, but not for sun life. WTF. Then get a sign that says which insurers you direct bill with.

I have consistently had a wonderful experience here. They make it feel like a spa with a relaxing environment and amazing music. I have had several massages from Ivy Monton and she is incredible. She always does an amazing job. She checks in to see how you are doing, she is an exceptional communicator, and she really listens to what you ask for. She is a lovely person and a very talented massage therapist.

I went to see one of the student therapists at this location, and was so happy. I am retired, and to be able to have a massage that was so nice for a lower price really made my day. The place is lovely, and it is really clean and well cared about. Everyone was friendly and lovely.

I had called Advanced Massage Therapy this morning to inquire about the process of setting up an account and booking my first massage appointment. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Victoria the receptionist over the phone. She was very polite and attentive and answered all my questions. She even took extra time to go over my many questions about my blue cross insurance and how to go about direct billing. I did not proceed with booking an appointment as of yet as i am just getting set up at work with insurance. But it was such a lovely informative conversation i just wanted to leave a review. She was very bubbly and even cracked a few jokes and i did not feel pressured to provide any information or even book an appointment. As soon as i get settled with my insurance ill be sure to call in and book an appointment. Thank you for the wonderful customer service Advanced Massage.

Have been going here about a year - friendly front staff and the two RMTs I've worked with have both been professional and effective. Direct insurance billing has always gone flawlessly. I swear I get three different reminders before each appointment, which is kinda annoying, but I blame the other customers who can't use a calendar.

It was my first time getting a massage with Advanced Massage Therapy. The experience was very very good. English is not my first language, i am Russian and had a hard time with the papers. The receptionist Victoria helped me a lot with the English and translated everything. She knew Russian too. I even got a Russian massage therapist it was very nice to explain my pain in my language and get good massage result. First experience here at the Corydon location amazing. I saw Stacey and she was fantastic, highly recommend. Excellent active listening skills, very warm, open, easy to talk to, non judgmental, very skilled techniques, professional. I have chronic neck pain/muscle tension for a decade and was having an acute flare up. Pain was 6/10 and I couldn’t concentrate. Left appointment relaxed and pain free. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure.

My experience with Advanced Massage Therapy was excellent. It was very welcoming upon entry into the facility. Reception was very friendly and attentive to my needs and questions regarding insurance. My RMT was very well trained and provided me with the tension relief I needed! Overall great service! 100% recommend.
