Thanks to some detailed reviews on here, I learnt that Anette is a curly hair queen. I came for my appointment a little weary, because I've never had a hairdresser whom understands curls. Anette is a godsend. She understood what would work best for my thick 2C/3A curl pattern and explained how she would cut it accordingly. My curls are bouncier and more defined thanks to her skill. Best salon/spa ever. Always feel at home as soon as I walk through the purple door. I’ve been coming here for many years and have had many different services from short hair, long hair, up dos and even a perm. Waxing, laser, mani, pedi, massage, facial and even make-up application. I’m always treated like a princess and feel so much better leaving than I did when I arrived. Its like a self-esteem factory!! Now that my sons are older, they too won’t go anywhere else for their perfect cut. if you are looking for a new place to call home, look no further because you’ve found it.

I was ecstatic with my experience at Skintreet. My longtime hairdresser retired in the spring and I had been unable to find someone to replace him, but I think I’ve found her now! Annette was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and I trusted her immediately with my precious curly locks — it helped that she has her own flawless curls to tend to as well! She answered all my questions and was very thorough, explaining the entire process as she went. I expected a very expensive bill for all the trouble she went to (including bleaching streaks in, an all-over colour, cut, and style), and while it was somewhat pricey compared to my last hairdresser, it certainly wasn’t unreasonable. I just can’t complain — I will definitely be returning!

I see Norby here and he provides the best haircut I've ever had. I have thin straight hair that's difficult to control, but Norby cuts it so I can get away without using product all the time. It's more expensive than other places, but I'm happy to pay for quality.

If you're looking for a place to have waxing done, ask for Leanne - she is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and makes you feel at ease. However, the reason I wanted to write this review was to give a shout out to Norbie. He is the only hairstylist I've found in London who knows how to cut and style curly hair. He also gives you tips and tricks along the way which I find very helpful. The convenient downtown location and access to free parking is a bonus. An overall great salon with very reasonable prices.

I absolutely love Skintreet! The owner of the salon has been there since she was 16, and she took over the business from her mom! She was my landlord for a year, and she was and is (I don't live in her house anymore but my friends do) absolutely fantastic! Her name is Kathy! Kathy and all her employees at Skintreet are so happy and full of life! They provide on-time, excellent quality service for all ages and genders! I have received hair cutting and styling, several facials, and eyebrow waxing for over a year now. They treat you like you're family, and the salon is in a house so you feel comfortable and at home. Would highly recommend if you are in London, ON and in need of some self-care. Maria is excellent at facials as an FYI. The photo is me after the facial. Going to wash my face before bed!

Excellent hairstylists. Yesterday I came for my first haircut since the early days of Covid, so my hair was quite a bit longer than I'm used to. I have curly, frizz-prone hair that is pretty hard to control. Not only was my hairstylist able to give me an excellent cut, but he walked me through what he was doing, gave me styling advice, and explained how to manage my hair on my own time. Excellent service, cannot recommend enough.

Annette was recommended to me after voicing my curly hair problem frustration. No one seemed to get the style I was after and the typical hair appt usually resulted in me trying to fix it. Annette blew every expectation out of the water! She took the time to explain how curls need to be cut different, why she needs different scissors, and how to style it each day. I went here to get my lashes done about 2.5 wks ago. The girl was AWESOME! Super personable and funny. The lashes she did were amazing. She was also reasonably priced! I finally googled the best curly hair stylists in London. Annette at Skinstreet is one of the top four listed and she came with the best reviews. I have had two horrible haircuts before coming to see Annette who fixed me up and gave me excellent curly hair tips as well. Two reviews said to listen to her advise so I put my full trust in her and she wowed me! She really knows what's best for your face shape. She used techniques I hadn't seen before. She suggested I grow my hair a few inches longer to show off my natural curls. I look forward to what she can do with my locks in the future!

Skintreet has the best waxing services I have ever eperienced. Quick, easy and the outcome is perfect. Unlike other places that miss spots or cannot get everything, the estheticians at skintreet get the job done right the first time and I don't ever have to go home and shave. Finally was able to post this on my own account. I wanted to continue my review so I can add pictures to show my haircut. I wanted a short layered cut and Norbie gave me exactly that and more. He is an amazing stylist for curly hair and even showed me a way to style the cut so I was able to leave loving my cut. The layers were perfect and honestly he worked wonders with my hair. I've been coming to Skintreet for 15 years now and have all of my extended family hooked on coming here as well. Annette and Norbi are a power team who cut long hair, both curly and straight with skill that I have not been able to match anywhere else. Attention to detail is excellent. Leanne is fantastic at helping my hands and feet and does a better job on my ingrown's than the pediatrist that I used to go to. Really chill staff, always welcoming. There is usually some type of relevant product on sale which is helpful, especially around Christmas. Gift certificates are a no brainer for my family. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing experience both times. I had to find a new hairdresser to cut my hair, and I’m always very nervous about them messing it up as I have curly hair. This has been the best haircut I’ve ever gotten and the gentleman who did it was so kind and made the experience wonderful for me. I also got Botox done and I love the results. I’m posting this on my boyfriends account but I went to skintreet and norbie did an AMAZING job with my curls. Honestly many people messed up my hair in the past because I have a lot of volume and curly hair but norbie did a great cut with nice layers and a nice round shape. He wasn’t afraid to cut off my hair the way I wanted it. He even showed me how to style my hair. 10/10 would recommend. I have 3b hair and if you are struggling to find a good hair dresser for curly hair definitely give this place a try.
