This place saved my fiance and a friend for a wedding this past weekend. They set to get a hair style at some place on Saturday morning at 8am. The stylist hadnt shown up and it was going on 8:10 and they had a strict timeline to keep. They called the nearest place that was open that early and they were booked. The place welcomed them in and were very charming. They had both of them done before 9am. The staff's friendliness and atmosphere was pleasant. This place was awesome!

I am extremely picky when it comes to hair salons and how my hair is trimmed/cut! I went to Nova Vita because of the junior pricing (currently a student on a budget) and the amazing reviews. I was super nervous about having a junior stylist trimming my hair because I wasn't sure how many years/experience an average stylist would have at this salon (I've had some bad experiences with hair stylists). I had Deyana and she was amazing. If I didn't know I was paying for a junior stylist, I wouldn't even second guess her ability to be a senior stylist. She asked very specific questions like how much I would like to get trimmed, and how I like my layers done. She also had very honest opinions and gave great advice on heat styling. I love my new layers and how Deyana only cut the damaged part so my hair doesn't look dramatically different! Nova Vita is awesome from my first impression and if their junior stylist is this amazing, I have no doubt how good the rest of the stylists are!

I had my first cut there today by Caroline. The staff are very welcoming without being too over the top and they are all very down to earth. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful set up but again not pretentious... it's like you took into account what actual people like in a salon and not just what it says in a book. Caroline was friendly and ready to help seeing as I don't know anything about hair and just brought in a picture. She knew exactly what to do to make the cut best for my hair and colour as well.. Really relaxing environment and very efficient. Lots of parking nearby with those meters so you don't have to keep going out to feed the meter. Just go in and relax

I booked an appointment here to try and get some warmth out of my blonde hair and do my roots. I was quoted $135.00. I am a student and normally do my own hair, so I can't dish out a lot of money. At the end of the service, I was charged $180 due to the use of products added during the process to try and help achieve a better blonde. I appreciate this, but I wish I would have been consulted--what if I literally didn't have $180? With tip this came to over $200. The stylist was very good, extremely thorough, and very helpful. She didn't make me feel bad about the fact that I do my own hair and even gave me tips, which I found so so considerate. However, my one real complaint is with the apprentice. I understand that apprenticeship is all about learning, and I am more than happy to let someone take a little extra time, or need a little extra instruction with certain things. But the apprentice burned my hair both with the straightener and blow-dryer, and she used a flatiron on my hair which had purple dye on it. Thanks to the quick action of the stylist, she was able to remove it with a chemical solution. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she should know the basics (blow-drying & straightening) a little better by my estimation.

My first time there and they were super busy when I had my appointment, which is understandable with being closed for so long because of covid. I asked for blonde balayage which I’ve gotten a few times in the past 3 years. But Margot gave me a full head of highlights and it does not look like balayage. It was a madhouse there but I feel Margot was overbooked because 2 other clients appointments were overlapped with my appointment and she had to juggle us constantly. As soon as my hair was dried I had to leave even though most times hairdressers style it after a wash and dry. I understand covid makes everything tough but being overbooked, mistakes happen. Not really impressed I paid $250 for something I didn’t really ask for.

I just got back from my hair cut appointment with lacee, and let me say I'm in love!! The wait wasn't too long and the receptionist was sooo nice. I got a great vibe from the moment I sat in Lacees chair; it was her birthday! She asked me everything and double checked to make sure I liked the end result. I was a little nervous since I have curly hair and wanted it done right, and she didn't disappoint! Overall wonderful experience and I'm recommending my friends. I went to Nova Vita today... I'll start off by saying my hair was a mess!! Many colours, fried from bleach, split ends.. I also shave both sides & the V in the undercut. I wanted my sides shaved back short, dyed back jet black, trim, layers & a thinning!!! I was blessed with a peach of a princess named Amber. We laughed and carried on the whole time just chatting about anything, but she always made a point to just update me quick on what she was doing, why she was doing it... And also gave me some great hair tips!! If you're looking for a place to relax and feel comfortable.... As well as get the haircut/Trim/Colour/Wax -- Nova Vita it is!!! You won't regret it.

I have seen Kaylen every time I come in and she’s always done a fabulous job with my hair, both cut and colour processing. I also recently began bringing my son to see her, who is seven years old and nonverbal. She is WONDERFUL with him, very patient and caring, and she does an awesome job with his curly, cowlicky hair even though he’s a bit squirmy. She was also open to having his therapist and OT come in and work with us to help him get more comfortable with the process!

I have had my hair coloured and cut by Auhja twice now and I was very pleased with the results. In the first consultation she politely let me know that the first go around may not give the exact colour I was going for and that I may need to come back in 6-8 weeks, which was fine. I loved what she did after the first appointment and didn't mind waiting until my next appointment. My hair feels healthy and I'm glad we did it in two steps! The price is also very reasonable for the quality and the customer service. Will definitely be back again when I need a touch up :)

I recently moved to London and needed to find a place to get my haircut. I searched online for places in my neighbourhood, called each of them asking prices and seeing how accommodating they could be. I probably called about five places and Nova Vita gave me the best gut feeling, so I took a risk and booked an appointment with them. When I arrived I was greeted and offered a drink. The facility itself is clean, organized, and well maintained. When I first met my stylist Kaylen, I immediately got a good feeling from her. She's friendly, warm, and welcoming. She made sure to spend time with me, asking detailed questions about what I was looking for in a haircut. Kaylen completed the wash/ cut/ and style within an hour. I have thick, coarse hair and appointments tend to take about that long or longer for me. Though Kaylen was efficient and used her time wisely. Kaylen knows how to work with the hair you have naturally, give you the cut you've asked for, while simultaneously optimizing your beauty. I left feeling great and was beyond satisfied with the cut and customer service overall. I don't mind paying decent money for a good haircut, and have paid up to $100 for haircuts in the past, willing to invest in the quality. I paid around $75 for my service at Nova Vita in total, and that includes decent tip. Personally I believe in tipping well for services that I cannot do for myself, but that's just my opinion. I have been there twice and received the same high level of quality each time. I highly recommend Nova Vita, especially the stylist Kaylen.

Love this salon. I've been going to Kaylen for approximately 3 years now. Kaylen is hands down one of the best stylists in the industry. She gives me a sharp, precise cut every time. Even though she is a meticulous stylist, she is super fun and easy to talk to. Nova Vita uses the top of the line products too. I'm always learning about innovate sprays, powers and shampoos. I cannot recommend Nova Vita enough! It is really rare to find such an amazing team of hair dressers and stylists. As a person with really long hair, I always get worried when it is haircut time. This is the worst salon experience I've had in my life. Margo was rude, condescending, and cut six inches off of my hair when I asked for only a one to two inch trim. After washing my hair she then proceeded to start cutting more without even asking. The dye job was poor quality and faded far quicker than some cheap box dyes I used in the past despite always washing my hair with cold water and color safe shampoo and conditioner. For the exorbitant price I paid, I left completely unhappy, and insulted by the treatment of the stylist. I will not be returning here

I love it here! The ladies are always very welcoming. The boutique up stairs is an awesome treat that you can visit while you're waiting for your hair colour to develop. If you just want to sit back and relax they have a great waiting area and complementary drinks that simply add that extra touch of enjoyment to your visit. Arrived on time for my first time ever with a stylist named Jen. I was asked at the front desk my name, which I gave, and they kept calling me by a different name. no big deal. I was told Jen is very busy and I will have to wait. I waited 35 min. passed my scheduled time which was 10:00 am. I had scheduled hi-lites and cut. During hi-lites, Jen is having a conversation through my head with her assistant standing very close, handing her foils. Repeatedly the assistant is knocking me in the nose as she is passing the foil, not stopping her conversation. At one point, I say "excuse me, but your hitting my face when you pass the foils" She doesn't acknowledge me and storms off. I ask Jen, is there something wrong here?, is there something I'm not getting. She says "I don't know what you mean?" After the foils I'm left sitting in a waiting room, seem to be forgotten, and Jen continues to serve other clients. At one point the assistant who was hitting me in the face says "go to the sink", She puts one glob of shampoo on my head srubs the top and that's it shampoo done. I had the pleasure of watching her shampoo other clients, while I sat with my foils, and she shampooed everyone well and good, but not me. After the shampoo I'm told "you'll have to have a toner", which is painted on at the sink by the same assistant and I'm left sitting there. Cold and wet. Finally the stylist comes to rinse my hair, throws a towel on my head and tells me to sit at the chair while she starts a new client???? This new client is sitting next to me a young university student, she is treated with pleasant care. I am left sitting in the chair next to her with cold wet hair??? I don't get it. I brush out my own hair as it is a cold clumpy mess. I take the blowdryer in front of me to semi-dry, as I am wet and cold. I cant' believe what happens next. The "sylist" stops cutting the students hair beside me, takes the blowdryer out of my hand, puts it back in the cradle and says "I told you I would be right with you" I am stunned, The student doesn't seem to care what happened to me, and they continue talking. What a jerk I am for not walking out, but I needed this cut and style. After 25 minutes of sitting there like a dunce, the stylist says "oh, do you want a cut?" So I voice my concerns, "what did I ever do to deserve this treatment?, why are you leaving me sit here with wet hair and serving someone else, why is your assistant washing my hair poorly, hitting me in the nose, and washing other clients hair so well and good. She doesn't want to hear it and says "You are the only one who has ever complained, I don't know what your talking about" so I say "well, I've just explained my concerns, so I think you know what I'm talking about. She answers "do you want the cut or not".I should have walked out with the wet head. But I did not. I got a hap hazard cut, which she "texterized" with shearing scissors. I was left with dull washed out hi-lites from the bad toner, and shaggy hair with chunks missing in the back from the shearing. What a fool I am not to have walked out with the wet head. After several people saw the wreck of my hair, they encouraged me to call the manager. I tried to call on several occasions and was told "Rhonda is busy" I came by one day to speak to "Rhonda" who I saw dashing up the stairs as soon as I walked in and was told "she's busy teaching" What a joke, but of course the joke is on me.

The owner has made sure that this salon can provide a safe environment for clients during the pandemic, and Rhonda went above and beyond to protect me and give me a haircut before my cancer treatments begin. I am so grateful to her for her compassion, generosity, and kindness. I was so inspired by her that I paid it forward to two other people right afterward. And I should also mention that I got a brilliant, perfect haircut. Please support businesses that care - support Nova Vita. I usually don't write reviews for businesses and this will be my first review on Google. I've been going to Nova Vita for a few years now and had excellent services in the past. However, after a month of dealing with a bad haircut, I decided to write this out so other people can avoid. I had the haircut with Jordan, the cut was so bad she had to ask another stylist to fix her mistakes, I was on a schedule that day and left the business after 1.5 hours of cutting and fixing. It's been a month and I still live with the consequence of an awkward haircut, can't even put my hair up due to the awkward length. Very disappointed.

amazing staff, I'm trying to grow my hair long and the hairdresser did an amazing job thinned out my course curly hair gave me layers wothout actually taking any length off, she took her time making sure my cut was perfect ...Mandy the woman who cut my hair ( if i remember her name correctly) also gave me lots of great helpful tips on how to protect my hair so it grow faster, my hair looks healthy and beautiful. Highly recomend this salon worth every penny in the past I've gotten my hair cut way too short on several occasions, so very pleased with my cut here!

Excellent customer service and good atmosphere. They are open long hours and employ many stylists so there is a better chance of getting an appointment sooner rather than later (I can usually get something same day or at least next day). Of course availability will depend on what you want to get done and the time of year (e.g. summer weddings means a lot of summer wedding salon parties). I usually get a simple men's haircut, which just about anybody everyone there is qualified to do, so squeezing me in is pretty easy. It's not the cheapest, but other men's barbershops I've been to have been more expensive, so it isn't the worst either.

I got tricked into a $58 haircut. First time going here, but I've been blonde for years so I know what questions to ask during a consultation to make sure there are no surprise fees. I said I do not want a haircut or trim - I do not pay for those as my hair is long and straight. I said I would be open to a "dusting" which she did. It took all over 90 seconds. Somehow this ended up costing me $58. I was pissed. I was comped half of the haircut, but I don't feel like that was good enough. I should have been comped the entire haircut (not the processing) and I regret tipping on top of that, but felt pressured. Also, she did no better job of processing my blonde than any other salon so it's not worth the money, IMO. Save your money and go elsewhere. I will not return.

Went here a few weeks ago. It was a little busy but the service was outstanding! Jordan was my stylist, she was so kind and for the first time I felt like someone really listened to me! I absolutely love my colour and cut! Can't speak highly enough about her!
