Kanwal criticized my brows from the moment she saw me, you could tell she was in a mood because she was running behind (as she told me) and then she proceeded to ‘fix’ them. She told me I needed more hair under my arch so she threaded the top half of my one eyebrow only, leaving it unshaped and much thiner than my other brow. When I put on my glasses she then told me it looked better, considering the fact that my glasses helped cover her terrible job. I should have stuck with Zahra. I can no longer leave with my natural brows and will have to fill them in daily, and will be applying castor oil nightly to get them to grow back in.

Update: I spoke with the owner and she was really understanding and offered another service to make up for my experience. We talked about the issues that I had and they boiled down to environmental changes related to the move. I'm leaving my original review, but I am updating the star rating. I don't recommend getting eyelash extensions here. It was my first time getting them done and it was a horrible experience. To start, she was about twenty minutes behind. She didn't show me any pictures of the different styles. The process of getting my lashes done was painful and basically felt like my eyelids were being poked by tweezers. The extensions looked beautiful, but weren't worth it. The following two days, I was in so much pain that I experienced migraines. I got them removed at a different salon a few weeks later and the technician was visibly upset because there was glue all over my eyelids, my lashes were glued together, and many of the extensions couldn't be removed because the extensions were glued directly on my lids.

I just moved to London and booked them for a Brazilian wax job. I had Sonya as my professional waxer, and she did an excellent job! She made the environment comfortable and very professional. She did an amazing job telling me what she was doing, and honestly her skills made it hurt less. It has been about a week, and I can tell she did an excellent job - I have super sensitive skin and can’t even shave, and even waxing causes me ingrown hairs! I only had 1 ingrown hair from this experience (which is super rare for my sensitive skin!!!). Kind of a detailed review, but it’s honest and she deserves a good review!

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded at Imaan's for years and I always have had the best experience! I decided to try laser with Mina (legs, brazillian and underarms) and it has honestly been life changing. I have light skin and dark coarse hair, so I used to have to shave EVERY day and always had terrible razor burn no matter what I did to prevent it. I literally don't have to shave anymore and my skin looks so so nice (no more dark shadows of hair coming in). I couldn't recommend getting this treatment done enough! Thanks you ladies for convincing me to try it out, it is well worth the time and money!

I've been seeing Kanwal for facials for 4 months now and I could not be more in love with the differences! After our first session I noticed improvements to my skins's texture, and now we're working on managing years of acne scarring. Extractions and exfoliating are inherently painful, but she makes it all tolerable and handles all the procedures with such care. All worth it! And as a student, her prices are super affordable

Saved my eyelashes. I came in with a very tough request - I had extensions from another salon in Toronto and needed them fixed before a trip. I thought they would just add a couple additional lashes but instead they went in and gave me a full set of beautiful lashes. They are great at what they do, I had my eye brows done and their honestly the best! They did other things but that’s just basic. The only thing is that they over charged me, not just 2 buck or anything they over charged me 15 dollars, which for what I got done is a lot.... it was my first time, I didn’t know the prices, when she told me how much it was it did sound a little off, just be careful when your about to go pay. I just think that is very un-ethical to do, so make sure you book your appoiment online and look at how much it would be over all.

I went to Imaan’s for the first time to get my eyebrows threaded. The studio is in the basement of a home. It is very clean and bright. I booked with the next available person. Sonia is pleasant, courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the outcome and will definitely be booking with Sonia again!

Had been going to see Kanwal for a few months, she sold me the serum and I thought was trying to help regrow my shape -and then one day I came for my scheduled appt with her and another beautician took my appt without warning. They changed the shape of my brows and took off half my arch on the left brow. Then when I tried to rectify the situation to make another appt with Kanwal, they tried to tell me that I agreed to have this new person do it and my eyebrows look great. Totally dismissing my concerns and requests. Every time I went back since she has tried to sell me on the serum, obviously forgetting that she has already sold it to me. Kanwal accuses me of plucking my eyebrows with tweezers every appt although I only use Imaan's Beauty Services for threading. They don't genuinely value their customers and everything is about $$$$$. If you don't care about your customer relationships, I don't care to bring my business there. My concerns were finally addressed and they offered free services until the growth was restored, but the next time I went in to redeem the free service Kanwal tried to make me pay until I reminded her she had said there would be no charge for the next few visits. She then proceeded to tell me that would be the only free service offered. So of course I was upset leaving your establishment after being promised that this situation would be rectified. If you want to visit a threader who is patient, caring and understanding towards your needs, this is not the place.

I had a bad experience. I went to do my eyebrow threading 2 months ago. I don’t remember the name of lady but she messed up my brows. She threaded my brows in different shape. I agree my brows bit upside down but You should atleast make them in proper shape. After that Kanwal tried to fix it and told me to grow more and come next time. As i read good reviews i thought let’s give one more try and booked an appointment with Kanwal. When i went her she said she can’t do my brows as no guarantee that it will be in same shape. I was so disappointed with her. She suggested me to grow 3-4 months and give a try and didn’t touch my brows and wasted my time. Frankly speaking i don’t like to give a review about anyone. But this one specifically for you. I guess you should know how to handle customers if you already disappointed them once ????

I've been here a couple of times for eyebrow threading and always received perfect service. The salon is in the basement level of a house but it is very well lit and super clean. The ladies are very friendly and will take the time to get the look you want. If you are not very chatty, the ladies are okay with working in silence! No need to make awkward conversation if you dont want to. There is enough parking AND you can pay with credit or debit (something I haven't found with many eyebrow threading places!)

I have been going here for years. Prices have always been the same, reasonable, and great staff. I only go for threading and they do a great job. I can't comment on other services but Kanwal is great and she does most of the other services herself. It's nice to see them expanding over the years to include more staff members and perhaps a new location in th near future.

This place is deceiving. You think you're just going into the basement of a house when you actually walk into a proper salon! I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and professionalism of the space. I've been to other places where the floors are dirty, there's wax on the walls (??), and you're basically ignored by the people who work there. At Imaan I was promptly greeted and taken in to my appointment. The appointment itself was quick, and efficient. I'm happy that I finally found my regular place! One small thing I would suggest is putting the parking information on the website (unless it's there and I didn't see it). Or maybe a sign on the parking area. I ended up parking in the front, then walking to the front door, reading the sign, getting back in the car and driving around. Really wouldn't be a big deal in the summer but it wasn't ideal in the winter with the snow and cold.

Kanwal and her staff are brow queens. Love the online booking system, and I book with whoever is available, as they all do a great job and I can get an appointment sooner this way. Kanwal is a perfectionist, and makes sure that your brows come out looking flawless. Definitely recommend this place.

Imaan's has the very best laser machine! I used to deal with having to wax very frequently -- I have had 3 treatments and my hair reduction is more than 50%! -really life changing to say the least. This place is extremely clean and they always make you feel welcome. I have had 6-10 laser treatments at other places and did not experience even close to half of the results I see at Imaan’s. I get my laser treatments done with Zahra and she makes me feel comfortable and is very skilled at what she does --this laser experience has been amazing! I also had my eyebrows done with Kanwal and she was able to get them back to a really nice shape. Highly recommend Imaan’s Studio.

I rarely write reviews but I must for Imaan's. I've always had problematic skin for years related to acne and permanent deep acne scars being in my late twenties. I only started coming a year ago and my skin has really transformed. Kanwal takes the time to meticulously observe your skin and diagnose what she knows will be the best custom treatment for your skin. I started microneedling and with only two sessions my (what i thought were permanent) acne scars have significantly reduced, just in time for my wedding. Kanwal and her staff are very kind, friendly and do the job right - not to mention their prices are very reasonable!

I have been going to Imaan's for 5 years since moving to London. Due to the high quality of services and level of professionalism, I continue to go to Imaan's. Now, my daughter is a client. They are customer service oriented and do a great job. There aren't any issues with prices given the level of service. My only request is for the customers is to please ensure that you come in at the time that you book, in order to be professionally courteous for the following customers (who are on time for their scheduled appointment). The online booking with the reminder email and text message is also quite helpful. Huge thanks to Kanwal, Meena and Zahra.

I'm so glad I made the move with Zahra to Imaan's. I would have followed her anywhere because she is the best at her craft (I just had my eyelashes tinted, and every one of them is dyed!), but ending up at Imaan's was more than I could have hoped for! The salon is beautiful and comfortable. The staff, without exception, are warm and friendly. Kanwal uses excellent products; the wax is more gentle than anything else I've ever tried. She is constantly adding new techniques to the list of services provided. You'll be grateful you found this gem, too!

I just got home after having my eyebrows micro-bladed by Kanwal and I am extremely happy with my results. Meticulous would be one word I would use to describe her work as she ensures the environment is completely sanitized, she takes her time doing measurements/sketching the outlines and allows you to look at yourself throughout the process so you do not have any unwelcoming surprises. I have had a number of procedures done, and rarely feel as confident in people's work as I did with hers. I was getting my eyebrows waxed for years until my cousin sent me to Imaan's for threading. Kanwal completely transformed my brows! My brows have never been bad, but the first thing she noticed was how they weren't levelled. It took a few months of leaving strategic hairs unplucked, but after that it was smooth sailing! The studio is so clean and relaxing, plus all the women that work there are so nice! I send all my friends to Imaan's and wouldn't trust anyone else with my brows!
