I absolutely adore this salon and all the stylists. Everyone is so friendly and talent. I had searched for months and months to find a good stylist, I finally found Nicki. She listens to what I want and from there is able to tell me what is possible and what isn't. I appreciate the honestly and the professionalism. I also love that she mixes the colours infront of me and asks for my opinion. I've never had that option before to customize my colour. The prices are also super reasonable. If you're looking for a great stylist, look no further because Nicki is your girl!

LOVE the atmosphere of the salon! Great setup if you have bridal parties or groups (post covid) as they have a nice big table in the middle and an awesome coffee/beverage station! The ladies are all super sweet and friendly, they take pride in their work and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. The Eufora line they use is awesome and makes my hair feel great no matter how many times I get inspired to change my hair colour. Can't wait to be back!

Very good customer service and clean inside as well. I went there for getting a haircut and i had pretty long hair. It was my first visit there. Nicole did an awesome hair cut for me. Rashelle is an incredible stylist. She gave me highlights and lowlights with a trim. The colour is perfect - very natural looking highlights that flatters my complexion. And I love the cut. What an amazing salon! All stylists take the time to listen to what you want and have superb input to go with it. All the products used during the visit are explained with reasons as to why they have been chosen. You will love your experience and will definitely want to go back. I personally trust Nikki to cut and style my hair! I always get so many compliments on my hair. She's always on top of the trends and attends conferences regularly. Nikki is amazing and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fresh cut. I now take my daughter to get her hair cut by Jess who always knows how to make my daughter feel beautiful and provides me with instructions on how to do neat designs with my daughter's long hair. Thank you Jess, I appreciate it.

They tried to charge me $370.00 dollars for an unfinished hair cut and colour by a junior stylist. She moved at a turtles pace and it took her over 5 HOURS to do a job that should have taken 3.5 including a full hair cut. I have had my hair this colour and style for over 15 years. I used to be a hair model for a few different salons as well. I know how long these processes take. Instead of management apologizing they charged me for the wrong service to make more money and they charged for extras. I had to tell the girl to stop the hair cut because she did not know how to texturize a straight edgy bob. She couldn't even part my hair that has a natural hair part. She handed me the comb. She asked me if I wanted layers so my hair could be curly!!!! I left with hair that had been curled under and looked like something from about 20 years ago. Get home and there are sooo many spots that the girl missed around my face with the colour. So she even did a poor job on that. I ended up paying 300.00 for a bad colour job, no hair cut, and I got to sit in a salon for 5 and a half hours. The manager told me she would have charged me 500.00 for what the junior stylist had done. That just shows how awful this salon is. Would recommend going to Lush salon or anywhere else. Look at the response below. They never even commented on the bad colour job, no hair cut, and the fact the girl moved as slow as a turtle. They just focus on the fact I am unhappy with the price. If $300.00 of work would have been done on my hair then I would not have a problem with it. Poor service and they cannot even be humble enough to admit that they overcharged me for services that were not done on my hair and that I walked out without having my hair done and they still charged me $300.00. Simply pathetic customer service. They never once offered to fix my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicole is the BEST hairstylist! It is the first time I try pink hair!!! And I am LOVIN it!???? She really knows what I want! Actually after seeing her another customer’s smoky purple photo on instagram, I can’t wait to let Nicole do my smoky purple or smoky blue next year????. Just wanted to Thank Breanna for a wonderful Pedicure!!! She was very accommodating with my work schedule even though she didn't have to. It was my first time having a pedicure with Breanna and she did AWESOME! Her attention to detail and meticulousness is spot on . The leg and foot massage was the best I have had!!! Breanna even offered to massage my hands while my polish was drying in the machine thing...My only complaint is having to get up and walk on VERY RELAXED feet!! ;-) I look forward to my next pedicure!! I also want to add that this young lady is very engaging and able hold a conversation . Breanna is a sheer delight

I can wait for my second visit to get to the results I'm looking for. ( Trying to get from a brunette to a light brown).. first set of highlights turned amazing. Thank you Chelsea. Had a fabulous cut and blow out from Camille! She was very knowledgable when answering my questions and explained what she was doing at each step, which I loved. I don't generally like chatting a lot during a hair cut and Camille was great at following my lead in that respect. Felt pampered by the hot towel conditioning and the overall vibe at Essense was friendly and comfortable. Will be back again!

Today I had 4 amazing professional ladies .. help me today.. I regularly go to Nikki every 6 weeks . I had to cancel an appointment on my part and to accommodate me Nikki did my highlights while Chelsea finished the job.. Jess gave amazing options on extensions that I can't wait for .. so knowledgeable!!!.. also at the end of my appointment I do believe Greta (so sorry if I have the name wrong) helped match colours for extensions due to my colouring changes after Jess finish her day of work.. These girls go far an beyond to help you get the perfect look. I only use their products on my hair due to having radiation 3 years ago and my hair falling out and burning to the root.. Coming here I now have my hair growing back and looking health... ????????????????to this team of girls... can't wait to use the new services you now offer... so excited !!!!!!

I wish I could rate these ladies even higher! I've been going to Essense for a little over a year now and I could not be happier. Jess is a magician when it comes to hair. I leave the salon blown away every single time. When you walk in, you can tell just how wonderful the atmosphere is. I recently just had a treatment to help with my frizz, etc. and it has made a MASSIVE difference. Before the treatment, I could not wear my natural hair down. After the treatment, I have been able to wear my hair down whenever I want and it has knocked off quite a bit of time when it comes to styling and every day maintenance. I would recommend this salon in a heartbeat!

I have wavy/curly hair, I got a cut and style done by Camielle. I absolutely love it, she did what I asked for and used her expertise when I wasn't sure. She's very good with curly hair and diffused my hair so amazingly curly! She and everyone who was in while I went was extremely kind, they'll talk with you but will also leave you alone if you'd prefer not to talk. Also, side note, their products smell wonderful.

Camielle is the best curly hair stylist I've ever encountered. If you know, you know how difficult "second day hair" can be. I had not 2 days, not 3 days, not 4 days but a solid week of "second day hair" after this cut with no intervention except on the 4th day with some dry shampoo on the roots and a smidge of curl revive mouse. It's been nearly a month since I got it cut and it's still blowing my mind. She's pleasant to chat with and the service is half the price of what I paid in Los Angeles. Deva cut schmeva cut. Go see Camielle if you have curly hair.

I was very happy with my experience here. I was initially rather hesitant to visit a self-labelled salon, but I was very impressed. My hairdresser was able to understand what I wanted from my vague instructions, tell me how she would be working, and get the job done. I also appreciated the fact that, although she remained friendly and professional, she didn't always attempt to engage me in conversation I didn't want. Price were reasonable, too. I would've preferred an aesthetically cleaner and/or more modern interior, though. My first impression was poor, even if the service proved me dead wrong.
