Visited Kendgdo for the first time in May 2018 for a birthday mani/pedi. Claudine made the experience above and beyond enjoyable. She is very chill, easy to converse with, and she did a wonderful job making me feel pretty. A month later, I’m still enjoying my French Tips and smooth feet. I have been going to Amber Morrow for many years as a hair stylist and I am so happy I found Amber after many not so great hair experiences. Amber is a fabulous hair stylist, as she is super talented, provides excellent service, is friendly, and is willing to accommodate her schedule to meet the needs of her clients . Amber always listens to my requests and always ensures that I am comfortable do to so. My balayage always turns out beautifully and my hair is always super shiny and healthy after my colour. Before Amber started doing my hair it was extremely damaged from previous experiences, but now my hair has never looked better. I would follow Amber to any hair salon and was happy to do so when she moved to Kenegdo Salon because of her many talents and her kind and caring attitude towards her clients. The staff at Kenegdo have been welcoming, friendly, and always ready to provide a coffee. If you are looking for a hair stylist I highly recommend Amber Morrow at Kenegdo Salon Spa! :)

So, I had gone to Kenegdo to get my lash extensions refilled because of some scheduling issues with my usual lash technician. Needless to say, my experience at Kenegdo was subpar. The first time I went for my lash refill I noticed afterwards that the lashes began to fall out very quickly. In a matter of two days they were looking like I had had them in for over a week. I brought this up with the lash technician when I went to get a refill the second time. She pretty much chalked it up to factors such as the way my natural lashes grow and so on. At this point, she also mentioned that I am supposed to wait 24 hours before getting them wet which she didn't mention the first time (with my previous technician I was used to waiting nothing more than 2 hours before getting them wet). Anyway, I did as she said and I was incredibly careful about not getting them wet for 24 hours. Unfortunately, as the days passed, they began to look like they were weeks old. I called the spa to explain the situation and the lady I spoke with said my technician would get back to me to schedule another appointment. This was on July 31st. It is currently August 6th as I write this review and no-one has contacted me. I am extremely disappointed considering I paid close to 90$ on both occasions and got terrible results each time. Long story short, if you want to get lash extensions, save your coins and go somewhere else.

Krista is absolutely amazing. HIGHLY recommend her. I have gone through 6 different people at 4 different locations, between Edmonton and Lethbridge, in an attempt to fix my HORRENDOUS eyebrows. Each time I went to one of these places to get it fixed, they took way too much off or an 'accident' happened. Every time this happened, I had to let them grow out so that they had something to work with the next time. Krista has restored the shape and it looks 1000x better than it did before. I have hated the way my eyebrows looked for over 8 years. But I'm finally comfortable and incredibly happy with them. She takes her time to make sure they are PERFECT and she is always on time for appointments. I dread moving away from Lethbridge because I will have to find another person who can do my eyebrows as well as she can!

When I moved to Lethbridge from Toronto I was so nervous to have to try and find a new place to get my hair, nails and eye brows done. I've always been so particular about where I go and finding somewhere that can do everything and really takes the time to get to know you can be a hard mission. Every single one of the ladies at Kenegdo takes so much pride in her work and truly makes you feel special. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair or eye brows since I started going here. I have been dying my hair for years and it was starting to suffer from it before I came to Kenegdo. Just with the quality of their products and the expertise of my hair dresser, (and not any up-selling of extra expensive treatments that I don't need) my hair has never been healthier!

I got a haircut a few weeks ago and LOVE it! The stylist I had(Cheryl, I think) sat down and made sure she knew what I wanted before she even started and she consulted me the whole way through! I will definitely be returning here! I can also tell you that I am not good at styling my own hair, but the cut I got requires little work on my part to retain its shape, the mark of a great haircut!

I am ALWAYS greeted with smiling faces each time I visit the salon which makes my visits that much more enjoyable. Krista has been doing my nails for what seems like forever. I trust Krista 100%. So much that I have agreed to be the “guinea pig” throughout the years while Krista put her many skills to use and I can confidentially say I have never been disappointed. I now go to Krista for nails, eyelash extensions, brow wax/thread, and microblading. Me and my mom went to get a haircut and we are very disappointed with our haircut and the way we were treated not to mention the outrageous price for a haircut. My mom's stylist was very rough with her and she pulled her hair and hurt her scalp really bad because the hairstylist put 5 heavy round brushes in her hair at the same time and my mom has fine hair and therefore has a sensitive scalp. My mom's head was still hurting for hours afterwards. My haircut was not the greatest, and the ends of my hair were really blunt, which is not what I wanted, and my side bangs turned out badly. I had to fix my hair when I got home, which I really don't like after paying an arm and a leg for just a haircut.

The atmosphere of the store and the service was amazing, however my hair was messed up and even after sitting there for 7 hours while they fixed it i was charged way more than what i originally was told i would be. my hair is choppy and uneven when i wanted it an even length all the way around with slight face framing. My hair is also not only shorter than i had asked but one side is longer than the other!! The colour of my hair looks good from afar but it’s patchy underneath and there are multiple pieces throughout that are a light brown colour (the rest of it is dark brown so is very noticeable). I’m very disappointed with how it turned out considering i trusted them to cut off over a foot of my hair. Overall my experience and results were NOT worth the money i spent and i would most likely not recommend this salon and I’m not going to be returning for service myself.

I had a full leg wax done this time, and have had 2 pedicures in the recent past. The girl did a good job with the waxing and I was happy with it. However when I went to pay they charged me $10 more than they quoted me on the phone, as well as $10 more than the price list stated. They said they had just recently highed their prices (in the last week), but I had spoken with someone the day before. People forget things sometimes and I get that, however I really had to advocate for the quoted price, and I didn't appreciate that. It would have been much more professional if they had just apologized and made a quick adjustment. I also feel that Kenegdo prices are on the high end of the spectrum, without offering justifications for this. I don't mind paying high end prices for high end services, and service, however I do not feel that Kenegdo offers this. I feel that the staff are not always mature or professional, or even provide above average service.
