Okay first off I'm usually skeptical of new stylists but this time I decided to put my trust in one. I have a hard time finding someone who can handle the amount of hair I have. Kate did such an amazing job! I came in to get bangs and she was quick yet gentle. The cut looks phenomenal and I will definately return ????

I went here to get my eyebrows tinted and waxed. I only called because everywhere else was closed. I will now only go to Brio. I paid the same amount that I would have at the usual Merle Norman but I got absolutely pampered. I started panicking in the waiting room that I read the prices wrong because everything was so luxurious that it must cost $100 for an eyebrow wax. They gave me a spa day, and all I came in for was an eyebrow wax guys. They offered me a robe to wear, they had this crystal infused water, chocolate covered raisins, fancy chips, other fancy snacks and specialty tea. They sat me in front of a fireplace as I ate my chocolate and drank this magic crystal water. I experienced quite the aromatherapy while I waited. I have never been so relaxed in a waiting room. Then we get to the actual wax and tint. This gal was the bomb. Bre was her name. She was funny, professional, easy to talk to and just an absolute treat. Not to mention she gave me this relaxing arm massage and aromatherapy to start with. Why the heck is anyone going to other places for waxes or really any other service Brio offers. Pay the same amount but get treated like a Thai prince over at Brio.

Amazing service for a decent price! Full cut, colour with foils (balayage), and style for less than $200. High end shop, uses robes instead of capes and offers beverages, scalp massage, shoulder massage and hand massage, as well as massage chairs at the hair wash stations. They use vegan and cruelty free products! Will 100% be returning and recommending to everyone. I also highly recommend hair stylist Rachel, she is so kind, listens to what you're looking for and is absolutely amazing with what she does!

She has always been on point with her recommendations and is always honest if she doesn’t think something will work for you. She really looks out for her ladies and ensures her clients all look amazing! If you need someone who will listen to what you want but also make sure it will look good and be manageable for you, make an appointment with Elizabeth! The salon is also always extremely clean and has great amenities for guests. The front desk ladies are also great, especially Sasha who is always there to help and provide an amazing phone and in-salon experience. I've been to the salon for a coloring in the summer. But the haircut was my concern i let her know i need to cut any damage, split ends that since getting my hair dyed it has alot more breakage. Well she did a botanical treatment to my hair which i loved! But once that was said an done she cut maybe a inch off my hair but mind you i have long hair up to my lower back, layers an growing out bangs. She did a very small touch up! styled an sent me on my way with all hopes to me saying you have no more damage! its great u just needed a lil off. Well come home let it settle all that and look at my ends i have so much breakage so much uneven ends just looks like a hot mess after paying over $50+ for a haircut! I wanted to see a difference i wanted to stop the splits before they wreck even more of my hair. Mind you i love the stylist i loved her energy everything but i would have loved even more if i could get my hair fixed like i asked...

The reviews praise the customer service but the person dealing with the customer service emails is either having a bad day or just didn't bother to actually read the follow up email they responded to. Basically insinuated that we weren't willing to spend money on a consultation rather than answering the question if it was possible to do so and get service done the same day, unless a consultation is required to answer a simple question.

Wiza at the front desk is always a so kindhearted and friendly. Olivia and Elizabeth especially shine out here as they both have gone absolutely above and beyond answering questions, giving opinions, and being great colourists. Olivia is hard to get in with because she's busy but its SO worth the wait to get on her client list! First time and Second time at Brio.background : I have had the same stylist for 12 years till she had a baby. I came across Olivia on a social media post and just had a feeling . ???????????? I have never been so comfortable and trusting in a new service provider. She never once let on any frustration or impatience. She gave me all the time I needed before proceeding, plus all the information I needed. Time is money and someone’s ability to give there time to make a client feel comfortable is HUGE!!! Not only was she and her assistant Blair on point caring professional knowledgeable and sweet they were understanding and real! Not to mention HELLO scalp and neck Massage before we even started and the most heavenly Massage chairs ( I don’t even like massage chairs) ???? this was epic . Prices were comparable and they were transparent about cost and able to offer solutions to make needs fit budget. I will be seeing plenty of you ladies . Seriously just Go Book in for a wash and style range $30-$55 apprentices are great You Will Not Regret it .

I recently was at Brio Salon & Spa to get a manicure and pedicure with my mom and mother-in-law for my upcoming wedding. It's odd that they do the manicures downstairs in the hair area and then the pedicure upstairs in the spa treatment area - very different environments. Would have liked to have both upstairs. The spa environment for the pedicures was really nice, the manicure area in contrast was quite loud and very busy. But once you get upstairs for the pedicure, it's an amazing environment. Very beautiful and they did a great job. The only strange thing was that my nail technician could offer me more manicure services (ie. more colours to choose from) than the nail technicians helping my mom and mother-in-law. I didn't even know that was a thing! I guess just make sure you ask the right questions when booking your appointment otherwise, you may be disappointed.

I showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted and let her do what she felt best with the details, as she is the expert and knows what looks good based on the face shape. My previous hairdresser wrecked my hair (there was blue, orange, black, blonde and major breakage in my hair) and Elizabeth done such an excellent job of making it look good. The service and the people here are great. But I got a lash lift here (my first one which I was nervous about) and it ended up not great. I followed all of the post care instructions to a T and they still ended Up curled all the way back to my eyelid and crunchy. Now I’m stuck with these weird looking lashes on my face for 4-8 weeks and no amount of brushing them has helped. They did offer to fix them which was nice, but didn’t do any research and said they had never had this issue before. The results still didn’t improve unfortunately.

I had the most amazing experience with Kate today at Brio. From the warm welcome and the offer to take my coat as soon as I arrived I knew I was in for a treat! The salon is very clean and professional, with its very own coffee station complete with fresh espresso. I went in looking for a big change from long hair to a cute bob cut. I especially loved the way Kate went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and we were on the same page with what I was wanting cut and style wise. The head and shoulder massage with essential oils before we got started with the cut was divine. Beautiful salon, my daughter-in-law recommended Victoria when I needed a cut when visiting from Kelowna. The receptionist and Victoria were very pleasant. Victoria was very punctual, gave a nice neck and scalp massage and did an amazing cut and I was in and out in 45 minutes. Even though I don’t live here I will be sure to book when visiting whenever possible as have not found a hairstylist since moving to BC 2 years ago who uses the technique she does and is as great with my thick hair in lightening the bulk and blending my layers with precision without texturizing. Chose Brio for booking a colouring appointment based off the reviews and it was honestly the best decision. Rylan was honest about what I could expect because of my dark hair, yet still managed to pull off a bright and vibrant colour! Their new line of Aveda dye is perfect for a dark starting point and I'm so so happy with the results!

This was my first time at Brio and I had an incredible experience! I had Blaire to color and cut my hair and couldn't say enough about her. She helped me figure out what I wanted by listening to my ideas and giving me her professional advice. She was so nice, easy to talk to, helpful, and did an amazing job on my hair! Also, the salon is by far the nicest salon I've been to. It has all the bells and whistles and I am definitely going back! I would definitely recommend Brio Salon and Blaire to anyone I know!

Every time I go there I always feel super relaxed and having the little massage at the beginning of every service with the scented oils is always a nice touch. Anytime I have a concern or question they're always taken with consideration by the stuff which is super professional. V salon Spas definitely my go-to for all of my favorite services like something as simple as a hair trim or something a little more luxurious like a facial.

I went there for the first time today. The wonderful hairstylist was Kate and she was listed as “new talent” but did an amazing job! Everyone there treated me like I was spending a million dollars even though it was just a simple cut. Highly recommended!

I moved to Lerhbridge from Edmonton and am looking for a new salon. I csll this salon based on the reviews. First time I called the ohone rang and rang. I called back 5 minutes later to be put on hold for over 5 minutes. I finally hung up. if they cannot acknowledge customers to me is a clear indication that customer service is not important to them. I pay good money to get my hair done. they do not deserve my business nor my money.

Had the MOST AMAZING experience with Elizabeth!! As a busy mom I rarely have time to make It to a salon and tried a few at home colours and they were all a total bust! and I mean it when I said my hair was bad.. strangers would ask if I knew my hair was 3 different colours.. yes.. yes I did.. I went in today hoping for a miracle and I was so extatic once I saw the finished result!!! my hair looks like something off a freaking Pinterest board!! if I could attach a photo to my review I would because its that pretty!! she took my 3 toned dull brown hair and gave it depth and dimension and everything I've ever wanted for my hair! I never thought I could ever have cool tones in my hair because every other stylist has always turned my hair green but she was very educated in colour and explained that she can actually add cool tones to my hair without using green and it turned out amazing!! I give her and Brio a 6 out of 5 Stars for a review!! love it!! - - - - Side note... Found out I can add a photo to my review woot! lol Does it not look like an amazing Pinterest lady that you tell yourself is never achievable?! 100% see Elizabeth at Brio to become the next Pinterest lady :)
