What an outstanding community! This is a full-service fitness center, providing group fitness, massage therapy, and regular special events like burlesque classes. The staff is incredibly welcoming, no matter what your experience level is. Just got my first massage here today, and my back hasn't felt this good in ages!

Completely ridiculous! I booked a spa day for the girls before my wedding, and we each went for a massage and a pedicure. While the massages were a hit, the pedicures not so much. $100 and 1 week later, my feet feel as though I’d never gotten a pedicure. The day of the service, the lady doing my pedicure said I “had a spot on my big toe that she couldn’t fix” - as if I had damaged the nail in some way. Prior to the appointment, my nail was fine. Within 2 days the gel polish had chipped, and we hadn’t even had my wedding yet - talk about disappointment for the amount of money spent. Fast forward to this week; my regular $40 pedicures last me at least a month — I am now sitting here feeling my rough / disgusting feet scraping my bedsheets. I will be headed back to my regular pedicure place this week for a re-do; never again will I recommend Spa Utopia for anything other than a massage.

I had a facial with Luz. Luz was extremely friendly and nice to talk to. She was very professional and I haven’t had anyone explain ingredients in skin care products that would work best for me like she did. Would re-book and ask for her specifically. Despite COVID, I feel like they offered their services as usual. If you wanted coffee, tea, or wine you could ask one of the ladies to grab one for you and they wouldn’t hesitate. Facilities were clean and calm. Can’t wait to come again.

Update: We are updating this review to thank Christina, the Spa Coordinator, for finding us a spot the next day. We received excellent service at the spa and we thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Great massage therapists. We've been waiting for these massage appointments for a month. We booked four weeks ago specifically for this week because my mom is on vacation and we could go in together. We both have really sore backs and have been waiting and looking forward to these appointments eagerly. They confirmed last night that we were good to go, but surprise, they called this morning and cancelled! And guess what? Now we have to wait ANOTHER 4 WEEKS before they can fit us in. WHAT A JOKE! The person who called wasn't even apologetic. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE. We've already been waiting for a month, and now we have to wait another month? The only reason we're even keeping the appointments is because we've got gift cards. But after that we will never be returning to Spa Utopia. They are overpriced, and have dealt with this situation poorly. We are extremely disappointed.

I booked a Tranquility Wrap and I had personable, professional service by Carmen. Front of house staff were friendly & helpful. Spa attendant was very sweet. The facilities are immaculate and calm. Use of steam room & sauna must be reserved as only single use. I do miss being able to access the Pan Pacific pool. Top notch experience.

Amazing Experience. I had an appointment with Shell for my hair- She is a master designer and is amazing at what she does, I had previously told her what i wanted to do with my hair and showed her an idea and she made it look even better then i could imagine. I was greeted by Kirby she was very polite and asked if i needed a beverage or anything... Shell was very polite, helpful, professional and she has the most knowledge in hair and it was the best experience. I would never go anywhere else and from now on in the future Shell will be the only person who touches my hair in the future. I am so in love and happy with how my hair looks now and how amazing it makes me feel, The colours are so beautiful and great length. She made it feel and look so healthy and beautiful. AMAZING JOB SHELL! I would recommend anyone to Shell- she is so amazing. Cant wait to go back

This is one amazing place to get the VIP treatment, I felt like a Queen for the day. I had found their website online when looking for spas near me. I decided to try it out while I was up in Langley, BC Canada. I walked in was able to get an appointment for a luxury pedicure within 40mins. (Note: Depending on the type of service best to sign up online if you on a time limit). The staff was truly friendly while still being professional. The facilities is beautiful, warm & inviting, I was there for four hours just soaking up this relaxing place. So if you want to feel pampered this the place to go while visiting BC, Canada, I highly recommend it. Harriet

Last week I planned a Spa Day for my sisters and I, a group of four people. My facial was great, but when I joined my sister in the lounge she explained how during her skin care regimen they required her to shower in the dark treatment room. Shawna set the shower for her, and she hopped in. When it was time to turn off the shower, she asked which way to turn the knob because there was no indication on the shower knob. Shawna told her towards the door, and this was the wrong direction. It resulted in my sister being scalded by a very hot shower. When we mentioned this to the CSR at the front, she said the person we needed to talk to was busy. She slipped to the back and then said we can give you $20 off her service. On an over $600 Spa Day, I was not impressed that no one from the management team even came to hear my sister's concern about the safety of their shower or to see if she was okay. Even though my service was great, Spa Day wasn't because of how my sister's injury wasn't taken seriously.

I have been visiting the Spa utopia Pan Pacific location many years and every time I had amaizing relatxng and rejuvenating experience. Last my visit on November 18th 2018 was very dissapoiting and frustrating because of the poor customer service. In first place nobody called to remind us about appointment although the reservation was made several months in advance. The woman on the reception desk was not friendly at all. Upon arriving we were required to fill some new forms although we have a file with all this personal information for many years. We were told that we can do it online before coming. But nobody informed us that you have this new changes in place. When you come hoping to relax, you do not feel like filling some forms with the same information over and over again! BUT the most disappointing thing that your cleaning personal NOT properly trained and always go over you, asking to give them the way, pushed you, etc No fruits were available any more.. The pool that always was a pleasant bonus to your service is now paid!! 10$ ! Are you kidding ? Every person pays more that 200$ per visit and you charge $10 ???? Its ridiculous. Not sure if i will come to repeat this experience again.

Very experienced and polite staff. I get haircuts here all the time, and it’s great. They don’t just cut all your hair a bit (unless you ask them to), they cut it to work well with whatever style you want, how all hair cutters should do it, unlike some other hair people I’ve been to who ask how long and just cut everything. Love this place!

She had to pay out of pocket for part of the treatment and now has to go back again to use the remaining balance. Cash value should be able to be used as cash...

I've never been to a spa so I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who offered drinks and gave very clear directions for where to go for what. If you didn't know already, Spa Utopia gives you access to the rooftop pool with your massage... so we came two hours before our scheduled massages and read by the pool in the sun. Waiters came by asking if we wanted anything to drink/eat (not included in massage). Massage was great. Afterwards they offer you wine so we graciously consented and sat in the lounge/lobby area sipping merlot. We left feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed. Great experience here overall.

Wonderful first experience. I booked a Full Body Swedish massage for my mother and I and both massage therapists were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were great at their jobs. We could hear them washing their hands throughout the service, which is important during these uncertain times. I unfortunately have forgotten their names but I hope you can find them through the reservation under my name for 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 15th and pass our compliments to them.

Was visiting for my 30 birthday trip, expected something much less impersonal. Called to say we would be late because of a massive blizzard going on (directed to call centre not main desk), arrived late and expected a short massage as a result but really actually didn't know anyone did a 50 min massage... I didn't make the reservation but honestly. $150. Was led to the lounge which was sooooo full of people, unable to have a private conversation or sit alone, my rmt was very kind and friendly but it was just a very very strange massage from anywhere else I have been. A lot more oil, a lot of wet towels and I didn't feel my muscles got the attention they needed- even the ones I indicated needed aim real work. Relaxing and peaceful but not particularly restorative. Honestly don't think I would recommend it based on price and overall experience. Luckily mine was better than my friends at least.

Spa Utopia is pricey for a massage in the Fraser Valley. However, the amenities (steam room, shower, well-appointed lounge, teas and flavoured water) are second to none. It's worth the extra money to indulge in a Spa Utopia massage. The value for your money is there.

My partner and I go for regular RMT Massages. Spa Utopia offers a couples massage with RMT, which is very nice to experience together. I have not found any other place to offer this. The staff at Spa Utopia are amazing. The spa is clean/ sanitized and they take great care to provide quality services. My favorite RMT is Matt. You will not be disappointed when you book a massage with him!!

Poor service. Well, I had reservation for myself and my husband. Waited for 2 months to get spot. when I did the reservation, I conformed with them that I want to use pool and amenities of the hotel and they confirmed it is possible. However my original reservation was for Saturday 11:00 am . Few days later they called me and changed my reservation to Sunday at 5:00 pm.So after 2 months waiting, I was so excited to have a nice evening with my husband, have a massage, go to pool and steam. But after finishing the massage, they told us because they are about to close, we cannot go to pool. I asked them if we can use the steam, they said men's steam has problem. Only I can use woman steam, so I was like " what my husband suppose to do while I am in steam?" and it was all in rush. Anyway, they said the manager is not working and I need to talk to her. I called her next day and she was like there is not much I can do. It is complimentary service by hotel and sorry that it didn't work with your hour!!! I said you have changed my reservation and changed it to 1 hour before your closing!! anyway, she hasn't done anything to make it right. I will not go there in any circumstances. They ruined my evening.

Lovely spa! Spent the day here, for massage, facial and pedicure. The wine after each service is a nice touch, and very relaxing. My only suggestion is, for more products and toiletries available in the washroom. I found it was very limited compared to other spas. There was a sign posted that i could request some, but I didn’t feel like making the trek out to the lobby in my robe to ask. Other than that, the services I received were amazing.

Clean, convenient location, great service (RMT and Facials only) I have been going to Spa utopia at Pan Pacific for a few years now. The level and quality of service has been consistent throughout the years and I haven't been disappointed. I only go there for RMT (deep tissue and hot stone massage) and Facials so my review is based on these 2 services only. The treatment rooms and lockers rooms are always clean and tidy, the staff are there to help you with anything you need and they are very professional. One thing I must say is that I don't get the concept of the interiors of the space!???? But that has got nothing to do with the service and quality :)

Oh how wonderful place that is. My little gateway every month. I am really enjoying every part of it starting with great welcome center till make up touch up on the end. When you get to Spa Utopia, they will greet you and serve you like royalty. You can enjoy their services and facility including sauna, showers, all different kind of massages and treatments so you almost don't want to leave the place.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. I made an appointment with my mother for massages and my mother ended up waiting for 20 minutes and no one was calling for her for her massage and they end up making silly excuses up about how they had an urgent matter to care etc. Whatever the problem was, how hard it is to plan an appointment for massage for a customer and secondly, why on earth would you make her wait for 20 minutes and wait for her to come to the desk to ask when is her massage going to start? And thirdly, offering a facial to do for her because they messed up her massage appointment does not suffice. Lastly, they quickly ended up getting someone to do her massage which I am sure was not a RMT or even a masseuse and ended up making the massage complimentary for her. Thanks but your service was awful and made my mothers spa day with her daughter awful for her. Good job!

I had sore feet that were clean, toenails painted nicely, perfect condition and she spent less than 10 seconds on each foot. Why ask if you're not going to do? It was a nice massage everywhere else I must say and to the lady that brought us our tea and snack... Oh my gosh you are a sweetheart... You have a beautiful energy, thank you. Langley location only. I’ve gone to this spa a number of times, and depending on which service you are getting, it’s a good place. Massages: amazing. Hands down the best I’ve found locally. I have returned for massages whenever I want to spoil myself. Make-up: it was horrendous. I used their make up service for my engagement photos, told them I wanted a natural, simple look. When my fiancé came to pick me up he was shocked, and I cried. It was so bad; They painted me up like I was going out clubbing at some disgusting Miami dive bar. I was orange! They had put so many layers on me, all way too dark, and I basically had to take it all off and make sure with what I could find at the London drugs down the street on my way to our photo shoot. Horribly disappointing. Hair: Also done for my engagement photos, and it looked amazing. It was exactly what I wanted, and the stylist was great. Manicure: poorly done. The nails were not completely covered, and the attempt at French tips were badly done. It ended up looking clumpy. This service was booked a week before my wedding, and I had to get them redone at another place because they looked horrible. Pedicure: good, no issues there.

This is my favourite go to spa. I have been to a couple of spas around town, and by far, I will have to say they have the best ambiance. The bathrooms are huge and the waiting room is beautiful. While waiting, they have water, and tea available as well as dried fruits. The masseuse are always excellent and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I love that we can also go up to the pool and hot tub after our massages and enjoy the downtown view. Reservations must be made far in advance to get anything during the weekend, but it is worth it.

I went for an RMT massage and it was absolutely divine. I can't recommend Valerie highly enough. The quality of her work was tremendous and made a huge difference in my wellness after the appointment. All of the staff were attentive and helpful. The spa lounge, steam room, and refreshments were glorious, making for a restorative experience all-round. There are lockers, and reusable sandals which is a nice touch for eco-minded customers. It also was a huge plus that I was able to call at 5 p.m. and get a booking for 7 p.m. that same night - that's rare in Vancouver!

The masseuse or massage therapists are very professional and know what they are doing. You just need to let them know how you like the pressure to be. My 60 min was what I needed to work on my tight neck/shoulder kinks - they did such a fantastic job. I fell asleep. The high ceilings and the set up of the massage rooms pretty awesome! I will be back more often. I highly recommend; looking for a new spot? Where the therapists are good at what they are doing, just come here.

I was visiting from out of town and was able to get a massage with Laurel and when I arrived the front desk were able to sneak me in for a haircut with Carmen. Both ladies were amazing. I even asked Carmen to finish my cut earlier than the time allotted (which is an annoying request I know, sorry Carmen), and she was able to do so with plenty of time to spare. The facility hasn't changed in the decade that I have been a patron, but it is still so peaceful, spacious and clean. The representative that mans the facility is also awesome and deserves a pat on the back. And lastly, the rooibos tea is always my favorite. Thank you Laurel, Pamela and Carmen.

“Utopia” describes it all, it’s in the name. This spa has an ambience that makes your inner calm transpire and you forget about the outside world bc all you feel is inner peace and calmness. From the soothing spa music to the decor to the massage experience. The staff are welcoming and polite. The environment is very clean and the beds are comfortable to give you the best massage experience that makes you want to keep getting massages all the time. Spa utopia is my go to place always and they never fall short of what they offer ie the quality , comfort and overall experience. I’ve been going to spa utopia for many years now and I still do now. Their amenities are amazing and add to the experience ie the sauna, shower and dressing rooms plus healthy snack bar .

Reception is very friendly. This place is immaculately clean. I am a RMT who has worked in some high end spas as well.. so I'm pretty picky. I chose to go to Spa Utopia after a really bad car accident last week and just wanted to feel extra pampered. My RMT Matt was AMAZING. He is very professional, communicates clearly and has fantastic hands on skills. The eucalyptus steam room after the massage is to die for. I left feeling like a brand new woman???? I can't wait to go back next month.

I have been going to this hair salon for 10 years. Last month I had an appointment With Carmen I asked for a light a brown balayage and ended up getting fried blonde almost white thick chunky Strips of hair I then asked for a reimbursement or A refund after telling the manager My experience. all I was offered in return was a travel sized conditioner. The Quality of this spa has gone down the past few years and I advise you to look into better options and more lawn Professional environments before getting your hair done here, you will regret it. I have to wait six months for my hair to grow out because it is fried.

I mainly go for a couples massage, though I have had wraps, and a facial. Parking is available under Canada place or in the area. It is paid. From the hotel lobby you had to the rear elevator and go to the cruise ship level. Upon entering you come into a nice retail shop, however through the glass doors you are in a new world. Subdued tones, warm temperatures and quiet sounds. The sitting area is comfortable and has their tea mixture and some small snacks. Little known fact that you can order from the hotel kitchen while in the Spa and they will set a small table for you. Second little known fact you can ask for the spa for a key and they will let you on the rooftop pool and hottub which is a view you need to see. The services are usually really good. Obviously individual practitioners add their own changes but for the most part we have a good treatment. Staff are always friendly and willing to help. Make sure you come in advance of your treatment or have some time after to take advantage of the sauna, steam room or other. For the mens area there is everything you need to shave and get ready to go out if you arrived a little unkempt.

All the people working here are great! The spa was kept clean and welcoming. I had the Royal massage 100min treatment. It was very relaxing. You are encouraged to use the dry steam room or relax and have a tea and snacks while waiting for you treatment and the a glass of wine afterward. The only downside I see here was the fee to use the pool and hot tub as they are not a part of spa utopia but belong to the hotel. Also the site mentioned that the opening hours are 10am when at 930 you are able to relax and enjoy before your treatment. All in all a good experience but could have been better.

My wife forced me to get a massage as she had been here the last time around and she had had a lovely experience. I am glad I agreed and indeed was a relaxing journey. Erin was my masseuse for the swedish massage. She was thorough and covered all the kinks n knots and made me feel at ease throughout. The pressure she applied was apt and released all the tension from the stress areas. The warm towels post each section is an added attraction which makes you feel pampered. My previous sojourns with massages haven't been the same as I tend to be more in pain post the massage. Spa Utopia n Erin especially deserves all the praise for making this episode one to remember for posterity. Kudos!!! Hope to find more time in future to continue this out of the world experience.

I feel torn writing a bad review because I've only had positive experiences with the RMT, however being rushed out the door as the last customer so the staff could go home early was beyond disappointing. I booked a 75 minutes massage at 6 pm and the staff reserved a 10 minute steam for 7:30 pm, giving me enough time to relax after the massage. Instead, I was immediately rushed into the steam room the minute I was out of my massage (covid protocols only allow for 1 person at a time). I left the steam early to change. At 7:40 pm when I would normally be getting out of the steam, I was told the spa was closed in 5 minutes, implying, 'hurry up so we can go home'. The sign on the door says that they are open until 8 pm, not 7:45 pm. The 75 minute massage was $210 and with tax and tip I paid $262.50 in total, which is a lot to spend on a 75 minute massage/spa experience only to be ruined by staff rushing you and cutting your time short. I still tipped 20% assuming that it all goes to the RMT, however this is certainly a good way to lose customers in the future.

I went for a pedicure for some much needed rest and relaxation. Karen was so wonderful and did such an amazing job. She was attentive and thorough. I would highly recommend her. I went to pay for the service using gift cards that I was given just under a year ago from an anonymous women. My boyfriend and I had lost our home in a fire in May 2016 and a woman had dropped off a beautiful basket and spa utopia gift cards for us. I went to use them to pay for the service and the lady at the desk said they were expired, apparently back in 2004. I was shocked, thankfully she went and spoke to the manager and she was very understanding of my circumstance and that I had no idea they were expired. She honored my gift cards. I almost left feeling disappointed but was grateful that they were able to accommodate this unfortunate incident and left feeling satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful experience :)

This will not be covered by extended health benefits so I stopped going as it wasn't worth it just to go for a massage. Maybe they'll change this one day. Had a terrible time, while my mom goes all the time and recommended their superb service unfortunately I wasn't so lucky I guess. My first visit was awesome, but the next time I went to get some colour done just last Saturday I was trying to explain with pictures exactly what I want and I found the stylist wasn't quite understanding me which that's okay probably my fault, but neither did she go and ask another stylist for advice at all. She said well okay let's just try the little bit of the colour out so okay we did, and I'm not really the type to sit there and argue hut obviously the colour didn't quite come out as vibrant as I wanted and while before she did it I asked if we were doing the multiple colours she said no no only one. So of course it didn't look at all close to what I wanted. When I came back to give them another try again I guess a miscommunication on my part they only booked me in for a "recolour" only an hour and a half while what I need done will be at leadt 3 hours. It already takes me a half hour of gas and time driving out I was really frustrated when I came and find out "oh we can't do anything for you today sorry". Even more infuriating is while I explained the new idea (since I figured maybe my first one was too complicated.,,well the stylist suggested exactly what I wanted in exactly the same way I said to the first stylist. So she told me the whole deal whatever okay idea for next time except I just feel like i've already spent a fortune just trying to have this done i simply don't have enough money to spend another almost $200 on this it's just ridiculous... Without any offer of compensation at all.

Massage therapist asked me if I crossed my legs half way through the massage. I responded 'Yes, of course.' He continued, 'I've read that that is a sign of sexual frustration.' I did not respond. He carried on, 'I could be wrong, but that is what I have read.' I did not say anything once again. He started massaging my feet, commenting about the polish on my toes by saying, 'Nice colour.' I also felt the sheet move too low down my backside during the massage. I spoke with the manager who said this was, indeed, inappropriate and she would speak with the therapist. I left this appointment feeling confused and angry. There is nothing else I can do, apparently, as he is not a registered massage therapist. Needless to say, I do not recommend Spa Utopia at the Pan Pacific.

A little systematic....almost like you're being thrown into an assembly line. Go here, wait here, get a massage, now pay. Facility is nice, it shares a pool with the Pan Pacific. RMTs are a little hit or miss, you should find one you like and stick to them. Parking is robbery. It's 4 dollars for every 30 mins and if you're one minute over they charge you for a full extra 30 mins. They should validate parking for guests of the spa, especially when you're paying $130 for a 50 min massage. Last 3 visits: $23, 20$, and $16 dollars in parking.

They also have a sauna for you to use. We noticed fruit flies on the dried fruit. The RMT was okay. I've had better as well as worst. When paying for the spa, they did not allow us to use all our gift cards. This was not the case in the past (I noticed it on the fine print).

Between the long introduction, preparing for towels and supposedly giving you time to undress and lay down the massage table, it all came to 35mins massage. We experienced terrible customer service. We were a party of two and booked with 2 RMTs for 75min massage each. We were told when we made the appointments that access to the hotel amenities, ie. pool and hot tub, would be complimentary. When we arrived at the spa for our appointment, we were informed that a $10 fee per person will be imposed for use of the hotel amenities. They told us they had called us ahead of time to inform us of this change but I did not get this call. Their manager informed us that they will not honor their promise that access will be complimentary. For a spa that charges $200 for a 75 min massage (plus the $24 parking), you would expect they will at least honor their commitment to those few guests whom they have already informed free access is part of the deal. This would only mean they need to eat the costs in the short term for those whom they have promised free access already. Their decision to insist on NOT honoring their promise to their guests is bad for business. We will not return. I already made two more appointments at the Willow Stream spa just a block away at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in April. See you never Spa Utopia.

Save your money and find somewhere else. The $155 price tag for the non-RMT massage I got was not worth it. I visited here only because I was given a gift card. Spa utopia does try and create a relaxing environment by having you wait around in the lounge where they offer you tea and nuts however, if you are like me and simply want to get your massage then I do not reccommend you show up early. The massage that I had left much to be desired and I did not feel that the services offered can command such a high price. The spa offers you nothing spectacular....a sauna, steam room, washroom and shower. These things are pretty standard. In short you can find other spas that will offer you par service for less.

Good place... decent amenities. My RMT Janelle was nice but a "sports massage" is just a relaxing lather oil over your back type of routine. The calf work was good but i i came here for a neck and shoulder work and I was disappointed. I have yet to find a decent female RMT in this city that i i can really say wow.. take my money. I'm really not sure what kind of "pressure" should i be conveying because i haven't found any here at all *sigh

Went in for a deep tissue massage October 5, 2017. Was told that I can show up 30 minutes prior to my appointment to use the steam room. I was told the steam room helps the musles to relax and warm up prior to a deep tissue massage. I showed up 30 minutes early on the day of my appointment and was told that my appointment is right now. I show them the email they sent me and it showed that I was in fact 30 minutes early for my appointment. The supervisor was called. I showed the supervisor the email. The supervisor said that my appointment has to start now because the massage therapist can't wait, she did not acknowledge the email or offer an apology for the mistake they made. Was unable to use steam room and went into the deep tissue massage cold. I had rescheduled my day so I could attend the massage so I reluctantly went in. I kick my self for not cancelling the appointment. Spa Utopia experience was, "not friendly, caring or blissful at all and it did not leave me feeling relaxed or renewed after my visit."

Awful customer service. Called to book a prenatal massage and was told their next available appointment wasn’t until July. When I advise the women I wouldn’t even be pregnant then, she laughed at me. I’d recommend any mothers to be call Casbah Day Spa, they got be in the next day!

Watch out people they no longer allow you to use more than one -$100 Gift Card a day per customer. So don't buy their gift cards at Costco. Like the customer beside me said go back outside and then walk in again, but they will only allow one a day. You guys just lost a 20 year customer, add up what I spend a year. Dumb move. You aren't the same high end place you were 10 years ago, the service is up and down never the same, only when the partner is there do you see the original Spa Utopia. Never see your Mgr out of her office checking on your clients, just when the partner is there is she seen.

The Spa Utopia Salon is a wonderful experience! I feel welcome the moment I walk in the door and the grandness of it all (not your regular hair salon) really makes it feel like sweet respite from the daily grind. I've trusted Carmen Krueger with my hair for the last three or four years. I appreciate her suggestions, friendly nature, and master stylist skills. If you are looking for a stylist that you can trust who is a lovely person I definitely recommend Carmen. The snacks, beverages, amazing scalp massages and complimentary make up touch ups are great too.

A good place for a good massage. The amenities are great with cucumber or lemon water and nibbles while you wait or to enjoy after your treatment. I appreciated the white fluffy robes. The message was good too, though I’ve found the quality of the massage to depend on your masseuse. I’ve gone enough to know who to request to make sure I get a good one. They have RMTs so the service can be claimed through extended health coverage. It takes longer to book an RMT as they are in demand.

Beautiful spa, great amenities. However when I called in to book, it was recommended that I book an afternoon massage and use the pool prior to the massage, so I went on the staff's recommendation. Unfortunately due to the building height, the pool doesn't get sun until mid-afternoon, so was unable to use the pool. If you're after sun, definitely do not plan on hitting the pool late morning/early afternoon. Had I known this, I would have stuck with my original plan of massage late morning, pool afternoon. :(

I had a 50 min Swedish relaxation massage this past weekend, and Saliha was absolutely amazing! By far the most relaxing massage I have ever had! She was so warm, welcoming and attentive and I would highly recommend her services to anyone visiting this spa. The staff at the spa were all really nice and the spa was clean. That being said, as enjoyable as the actual service was, the spa itself is very under-whelming. The robes are old and very stiff, mine was actually fraying in several areas! The relaxation lounge is very dated - I am almost certain it looks exactly the same from the first time I visited this establishment nearly 10 years ago! Given how expensive their services are, our group was expecting the venue itself to be much nicer in terms of decor and ambiance. Overall, a great massage in a sub-par atmosphere.

The massage service itself was wonderful however Spa Utopia as a company has some major improvements to make with their front of house and administrative staff. Spa Utopia charged me for my service TWICE and I noticed the next day when reviewing my banking transactions. I phoned the Spa location to discuss the matter and was left feeling like a liar and that I had to defend myself to these people. I even had to tell them what to check on their end and they figured looking at an invoice was sufficient. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience from a Spa that is supposed to be "luxury" and a place of relaxation. I can tell you from this experience, i was definitely not relaxed and was very stressed having to defend myself. Well save your money if you are looking for a luxurious and pleasant experience, go somewhere else! I just feel bad for any tourists visiting our beautiful city that decide to use this spa and then see this as a reflection of our city, which is by far not the case. There are other spas willing to gain your repeated service and will provide you with the relaxing experience that keeps you coming back. Spa Utopia-send your staff to some BASIC customer service training and phone etiquette classes. They should have plenty of time to educate themselves and do better during this pandemic.

Access to pool is $10 extra per person which we weren’t told about when given the passes and instead at the end when we were paying which seemed sketchy otherwise the manager and staff were lovely. Biggest scam I've experienced lately paid arm and a leg for "couple retreat" the minute I walked in the vibe wasn't matching my expectations specially im going to pay over 600$ but still walked in thinking maybe I'm wrong went for couples massage it was horrible it hurt the whole time the person had no idea what she was doing had to ask her to stop and I left in the middle of the session again I didn't want to ruin my day it was our anniversary I waited for my wife to finish in the cheap lounge or whatever you wanna call it. Then the pedicure was horrible no experience I was watching my money being wasted. The lady didn't bother take out a hang nail out. Over all I don't blame the staff thats the way they get trained but a facility like that in the heart of downtown in the middle of tourist attractions the image of our city should reflect more on quality professionalism but it was no where near that. I work in the service industry and I know that its a scam if you continue managing your business like this I'm writing this cz I was very disappointed as well with the receptionist when she said sorry sir we can take 13 minutes of your massage bill when I was telling her about my experience .definitely I would never come back again the first and last visit

She fixed my hair and I was absolutely so impressed by her technique and skill! Beautiful place a bit out dated. For the high premium they charge definitely not worth it unless you want to waste your money. They called me a day before my appointment, which I had booked 3 weeks before in order to get a couple massage with one female and one male masseuse. Quite disappointed that they called me just to say that male therapist decided to go on a trip to Mexico and we’ll have to either reschedule you or you’ll have to go with a female therapist. Honestly I’ve given these guys 3 chances and they have failed me every single time. Save your money and go else where. If your looking for a nice couples message that you won’t be disappointed at go to Smile Thai on Robson, they are half the cost of these guys. I guarantee that you'll have better service and you’ll leave relaxed.

Not worth it with Covid restrictions. I love going to Spa Utopia but with current Covid restrictions it's not worth the money. I went in for rmt massage after they reopened. I did expect no pool, no steam room. However there is no change room and no snacks or drinks in the lounge. It is not a spa anymore it's just a rmt session but you are paying spa price. You have to wait in lounge (no tea no water no snack in lounge) until they call you and change in the massage room, get massage and leave. I was hoping they would have bottled drinks and maybe small bags of snacks but no. Although the massage was good I was really disappointed I paid a lot more (plus tip) than I would at a rmt clinic for exactly same service. I canceled all upcoming appointments spa utopia and booked sessions with a local rmt clinic. I will come back when things get back to normal but not for a while.

I went in to get a LUXURY MANI AND PEDI with GEL POLISH I spent a lot of money around 250$ and my manicure came off in the first week and they credit it back but the beginning of the next week my pedicure came off and I tried phoning the manager and she didn't answer so I left a message and waited for her to get back to me took her about a week. she phoned back she was arguing with me I don't think that's very professional. Bad customer service and poor management. The manager called me 2 hours before my massage appointment saying that my appointment will be shortened or otherwise rescheduled to another day due to a therapist not being able to make it. I explained that we live far away from the spa location and we had plans after the appointment so either option would not work out for us. I asked if there's any way that they can compensate for the inconvenience caused, and the manager straight up said "I will not do that". This is highly unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers. Our day was ruined because of this. I will never book an appointment with this place again.

The complementary services are a plus but I DON'T take him for granted, they are "complimentary" so if I can't use the pool or the spa for reasons beyond their control, that is not going to ruin my day. The massages are good but u can get better ones at other places. My 4 friends and i PAID 162$ for 50 mins but we all only got 40 mins. We were “late” but we were late because of the tour that they gave us. We were there at 9:30a for a 10a appointment. The pool was extra 10$ but the hot-tub was lukewarm. Also you have to pay for parking and parking is $23 all day Make sure to keep that ticket otherwise its 32$. All day parking is a better option than paying hourly.

Went here for a pedicure about a month or so ago and I definitely won’t be going back for a few of reasons. Went in for my pedicure and as the girl was scrubbing my feet she some how cut me in the worst possible spot right where my big toe begins. It was a medium sized cut but a bit long so it was pretty painful and started bleeding. I went there the day before I was about to leave for a vacation so as soon as I got cut I was worried about infection in pools or walking around bare feet. The girl put some stuff on it to help with the bleeding and all I got was a sorry I don’t know how that happened. So my whole relaxing experience is already gone now because my foot is stinging the whole time. I choose a white gel polish and I guess the way they apply here is in very thin coats so it lasts longer but basically it turned out to be super streaky and not the perfect paper white look I usually get at other salons so that was a disappointment, all that for a pedi that doesn’t even look great. In the end I left limping home trying not to step on that toe and go to pay and even after my cut I end up paying FULL PRICE. I had a gift card which was why I didn’t wanna bring it up then there because it was technically free for me anyway but for customer service reasons that’s something that should have been adjusted by them without a customer having to say something about it after a situation like that. I paid and still tipped as well but was definitely not satisfied with the service even more while I was on vacation and had to wear ugly bandaids on a very visible part of my toe with heels which made it even more uncomfortable. I won’t lie all the employees were very kind and nice but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for the price and the service.

I've been here a couple of times for RMT massages and it's been great. My RMT uses firm pressure to relieve all my sore muscles and I loved that the roof top pool and hot tub access was included. I went today and found out it is now an extra $10 to access the pool. It's pretty ridiculous considering you already pay so much for the massage and knowing that it used to be included kind of made me feel a bit irritated. I mean, the pool is there regardless for the hotel guests so why charge the spa visitors extra? Sounds like such a rip off. Needless to say, even though I really like my RMT I might not return due to this extra surcharge! I'm sure I'll be able to find another RMT and spa spot elsewhere that provide the same type of service!

I have Harrington rods in my spine due to scoliosis. I suffer from a great amount of back pain. For years I was resistant to treatment as I feared people touching my back. This changed when I found Pamela RMT at Spa Utopia Langley. She is so good at what she does not only is she a skilled RMT but she is a beautiful person, making me feel safe in her hands. This past February I had another major surgery I had a right neck dissection and bone transplant using my right scapula. I just saw Pamela For the first time since this surgery a few weeks ago, again she knew exactly how to treat me. I have 100% trust in her. I have had other massages but she is the best! Bonus you can use the eucalyptus steam room and lounge before and after your treatment.

I had the signature facial with Ruby this past weekend, what an amazing experience! The facilities are very well maintained and I found everyone at the reception desk to be exceptionally friendly. When I first arrived, I was welcomed and shown around the lounge and change rooms. The change rooms have everything you could need, from showers and a vanity to comfy robes. I took advantage of the eucalyptus steam room, which was wonderful. They also have a sauna. I then spent some time reading a magazine while sipping their signature drink in the lounge before my treatment. Ruby arrived about 5 minutes early, which I appreciated. She was very kind and did an excellent skin analysis prior to the facial. The facial itself was amazing! I left feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed. As soon as it was finished I was offered a glass of wine and spent more time in the lounge. I never felt rushed! On my way out I was offered a makeup touchup but I declined, since I was staying at the Pan Pacific and planned on heading up to my room for a nap. It was definitely a wonderful experience and next time I'm at the Pan Pacific I will book in at Spa Utopia . Thank you Ruby!

I have been planning to do this for a while and today’s the day—I have had need to talk to the manager Beverley twice, once because I left my gift certificate at home and once when she checked me in. I was very impressed by her focus on customer service and professionalism. The first time, she took it upon herself personally to reverse the charge on my card when I came back with the gift cards. The second time, When she checked me in, I was harried, coming in after doing the last bit of cleaning following a harrowing week of moving, and she was calm, kind, and generous. I have always liked the ambiance of this Spa, but it’s the people who can make or break it. Kudos for getting such a great manager.
