I have been receiving hair removal treatments here for a while now. I have found them to be extremely professional. They explained the complete procedure to me prior to signing the contract. There were no hidden costs. They may have underestimated the level of pain that I would experience, but it was bearable. The nurses that provide the procedures are very calm and caring. All in all, I am very happy with the experience.

I have just received my first set of treatments so I will have to wait to see my results. I will say I have had a great experience with each of the staff members I have interacted with. When I emailed Ideal, about my interest in treatments, they responded almost immediately and my consultant got me in that same day to get my treatments booked. The receptionists at the front desk were all exceptionally friendly and greeted me by name each time I came in. The nursing staff are just awesome!! They work together to ensure you get the best results possible. I would definitely recommend this location for your coolsculp treatments.

I do not recommend "cool sculpting" to anyone for losing fat. I had 2 sessions and nothing changed on me; I did NOT meet expectations & promises. They have advertised for 25% of reduction per session but never happened to me so $3500 that I spent, all wasted. At the follow up session, they confirmed the fat around my abdomen area was not reduced. I was expecting to refund the money as they told me in the first session if the treatment won’t work for you we stop the treatment and refund your money.

I never expected to step out of the door with smile but thanks to her, she raised my case to the regional manager and sort it out very quickly and provided me with a great offer .I have done laser her removal treatment in the other clinics as well and never experienced such an outstanding customer care. I strongly recommend Langley ideal image because of excellent service and customer support. Much appreciated her responsive support and great customer care.

Great results! My under arms look great and need no more additional treatments. There are some fine hairs but nothing anyone would ever notice (the laser can’t get peach fuzz). It will be nice to not worry throughout the summer about shaving. My bikini needs one more treatment. They gave me one complimentary to assure that I am happy and that all the hair that can possibly be removed is removed. If a hair ever pops up down the road there is a lifetime warranty where it is $1 a zap. Which I would say is very fair. The girls are all great. Jess did my last session and I highly recommend her as she is very thorough. I would definitely recommend Ideal image as they are very professional and genuinely want to see you happy.

So I got LURED in by one of their ADs on the radio. ''SUPPOSEDLY'' there was a sale for 75% off if you would tell them that you came because of ad. Sounded pretty promising so I booked an appointment. Right then and there the sales person got me into a contract. I would say that my youthfulness, vulnerability, & lack of reviewing other places before hand got me into a no cancellation contract & flexible payment plan. Lets get this straight, treatment was quoted at $2k start to finish. How stupid was I ..... Anyways, they offered me to get my first session that same day and after my first couple of sessions I did see differences between each sessions, there is no lie about that. Staff were really kind and understanding about the pace of each session as it does hurt like...********* . ,Moving forward, I just got my last session, and the worker to my surprised said that if I did get unsatisfying results after a 10 week waiting period that I could call them so they could do additional (PAID) treatments upon approval (if there was or was not more treatment that I can benefit from.) HOW THE HECK CAN YOU SAY I NEED TO PAY M O R E money after I just dropped $2k on your treatment?????? Simply ridiculous. I would avoid this place.... DO YOUR FREAKING RESEARCH.... READ AND BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!

I don't know what to rate, because I did not have any treatment done. I walked in off the street, they had a consultant come and see me right away. She looked at my chin (where I want hair removal) and was concerned it was too blonde. She called in a nurse to check, she agreed that it was not treatable, we cursed my genetics, and I left - not pushy, very kind, very fast. Clearly I'm not the kind of victim they are looking for ;)

The sales department is super shady. I would give a higher rating if it wasn't for that, but regardless of how good the actual service is, I can't overlook the misrepresentation. I was left with a bad feeling about the company after the sales call, which felt very rushed and pressured overall. The rep made extraordinary claims of guaranteed permanent hair loss and gave inaccurate explanations and assurances of the contract terms and conditions. Specifically it was mentioned that the treatments would continue indefinitely until permanent hair loss was achieved which is not the case as the contract states that it is unlimited treatments, spaced 6-10 weeks apart, within 16 months. even if you went every 6 weeks for the full term the maximum number of treatments you could get is 10 -11. So bottom line, make sure that you take the time to actually read your contract. Don't just take their word on anything. A satisfactory explanation about the conditions of the lifetime guarantee was also avoided. I had to pry for her to tell me that the lifetime guarantee was a discounted rate on future service to the area, not just the ability to come back for free treatment if hair grew back later. I will say that my impression of the company was somewhat relieved when I arrived for my appointment and spoke with the nurse who more accurately explained the procedure and terms of the contract and gave me the opportunity to withdraw from the contract. I will say that the nurses do a very thorough job with the treatment and I feel confident in the quality of the laser hair removal treatments I am receiving.

I took advantage of the 75% off and still paid over $6,000 for 9 sessions. The first 4 sessions were supposed to be 8 weeks apart and the last 5 at 10 weeks apart. Since starting I have had only 1 appointment that was on time. My last appointment was cancelled the day before I was to have it and was told I would be put on a waiting list. I had not heard anything so I called today. I have an appointment 17 weeks after my last appointment. That is almost double the time than it should have been. I will say that I am fairly happy with the results. I have PCOS and had hair on my sideburns, jawline, upper lip and under my chin. My jawline and under my chin are pretty much hair free. I used to have to shave them everyday now I only pluck a few strays once a week once every two weeks. My sideburns and upper lip are taking quite a while. I still have to shave my sideburns everyday or every other day and my upper lip I still have to shave every 3-4 days. I do feel way more confident than I did before I started this. The staff is very friendly when you go in person. On the phone they are a bit curt.

I was promised the treatment woukd remove marks. Instead it left marks and spots on my face. This was validated by their professional from the before/after photographs. Now I am wary of going back for my last session out of the fear it will leave more spots on my face instead. The best part They never bothered calling back as to why their client has not cone for their last session. I guess they deserved beibg sued for the last laser hair case. People please be careful what you going to be quoted for as you will see extra charges when you get the email as they will make sign through their IPad which shows no charges. I went in for a consulting session. Tanya was friendly and was very knowledgeable. However, out of no where, she became really pushy and asked for my ID and pushed for a credit check. She tried to put me on a bi-weekly payment plan for 9 sessions and wanted to start my treatment right then and there even. Firstly, this was only supposed to be a consulting appointment so I didn't appreciate them trying to lock me in. Second, I didn't even ask to be put on a payment plan since I would rather pay upfront rather than commit to a bi-weekly plan for 1.5 years. Third, she was charging me the same amount my sister pays for my legs but I was only asking for my cheeks and neckline (total of 5-6 SQUARE INCHES). And that was after a 50% discount which was only VALID for that day. I started to laugh because I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman so I just left. That waa my experience with this location. Perhaps other locations are not so shady. I probably would have gone back to get treated in the near future had she not been so pushy.

It cost at least 50% more here then other medi spa places where the lazers for hair removal are just as good. When you go into your consultation the salesperson will throw a bunch of discounts at you and say they are only valid for today (which is not true) which pressures you to make a decision right there without thinking about it and researching other places (bad idea). They also always have a sign that says 50% off (false advertising as this "sale" never goes away). I never write bad reviews but I hope it might save you some money. Sadly I did not get so lucky. It's a very strange place as far as how they go after your money and get you to buy their overinflated services. I've never felt this way at any other medispa/beauty centre.

An unconscionable scam. Ideal Image exploits desperate trans people dealing with dysphoria. My partner walked into one of their locations and got taken for a $1800 contract that covers only hir chin (not even hir entire face!) over 12 sessions - so $120/session. For reference, I pay $160 for 6 sessions that cover my entire face. That's not $160/session, that's $160 for ALL 6 sessions. They told hir it's a "superior" kind of laser which will be "complete" hair removal - this is a lie, you still need electro to follow up. From what I can tell, it's the same alexandrite laser I receieve. They took a working student struggling with a learning disability that had trouble paying rent and hard-sold hir into sign a long term financing term for a service ze was made to believe was priced at discount. They are categorically refusing a refund, despite the fact that obviusly they aren't even able to provide the service ze is still paying for. The contract itself makes virtually no guarnatees in terms of the level of service available, while placing MANY conditions that allow them to cancel their end of things for a number of reasons. The summary of the terms refers to a section on refunds that doesn't actually exist in the contract. It is likely illegal (we will find out soon as the courts open). Legalilty aside, it is very very clear that Ideal Image has no interest in actually letting their so-called "service" stand on its own merits, and instead rely on predatory sales and contracts to exploit their customers. Stay away!

I had tried a few other laser clinics in the past with groupon trying to save a bit of $$, but honestly Ideal Image is the BEST you really get what you pay for!! The very first treatment I noticed a difference by the third treatment I couldn't believe my results. I had my thighs done 5 years ago and to this day no hair growth. I tell all my friends and family if they want to get laser hair removal to go to Ideal. Yes it is expensive, yes it hurts like a MF. But I always follow it up with, best money I ever spent and no regrets! I've had nothing but Pleasant experiences with the nurses and the Consultants and the receptionist at this company. They were open and honest and relatable which made it easier for me to talk to them about matters that could be considered embarrassing. And they have an awesome discount going on right now because of covid-19 . I would definitely recommend the laser hair removal treatment, however if you don't get it while they have the 70% off, it is quite costly. they do have lifetime guarantee so that is nice considering how much it does cost. The two people that stare at the most to me were natacha, the sales consultant, and Nicole, the nurse. They both made me feel very comfortable and not embarrassed about the subject matter. I am not like to do reviews but this time I am going to write one because I'm very frustrated and upset with ideal image.I canceled my treatment before to have it but Tanya from Ideal Image said this was not possible. I wish I would have done more research before going here, they are literally stolen my money because I haven't had my cool sculpting done and ai don't want to do it but because they lied to me, the process is super painful and uncomfortable and they said you are not going to fell nothing but a little discomfort, you even can sleep at the process, liars, now I'm very nervous and mad after all the reviews I have read I'm positive the main business for ideal image is stolen money using an aggressive and hard tactic sales, this is a complete fraud. I would not recommend ideal image, even I am going to sue them.

I'm so disappointed in the customer service I have received. The nurses I dealt with during my treatments with were great but the people at the front desk may as well be robots. I purchased a package for my underarms and when I got pregnant I stopped under their recommendations.. Well funny thing apparently hidden in the contract is an expiration date! So me being pregnant and giving birth put me past that expiry date I was never verbally warned about. You would think they would have told me or put my account on hold but no, now I have to pay $50 per treatment if I want to continue. THIS IS A SCAM.

Does laser hair removal hurt? Absolutely! ( and I have a very high pain tolerance) However, the results are great and long-lasting and the staff are friendly. So you are getting good value for your money. However, one thing that has bothered me throughout my time with them has been the difficulty in getting through to anyone on their phone line. You have to call the main number for ideal image, where they then transfer you to the Langley site, and very rarely does anyone answer the phone. Instead, the operator will just tell me to call back another time. It would be a better experience for clients if they could get a hold of the clinic without having to go there in person to book or reschedule appointments.

I really liked this place initially, but I recommend you save your money and go elsewhere. You will be guaranteed not to have any hair left and by the last treatment you will not have very much left so it seems like it's all gone, but within a few months it will grow back and if you want any more treatments your "lifetime warranty" just means a slight discount on a treatment that you still have to pay for. Get a groupon and go somewhere cheaper, the outcome will be the same.

I am a lifer! Ideal Image is professional, clean, have friendly staff and it works!! My only problem was when I went for my initial consult I felt a little prrssured to sign up and they did not give me an exam or advice about the area I should treat. I bought more than I could afford the first time and wished they had provided more insight as I would have chosen a different area. I purchased 3 as there was a discount to bundle. HOWEVER, from treatment number ONE I saw amazing results. Problem areas that cost me years of grief and anxiety. I am quite light skinned and have dark hair so I am a good candidate. I had been getting waxed for years and had terrible experiences with unqualified estheticians and embarrassing moments. The procedures were virtually painless compared to waxing and the results were immediate. I had no adverse reactions like I do to waxing. I have one treatment left on my first bundle and am now going for the rest of my body. It sounds dramatic but laser hair removal has changed my life. I have cried from happiness after treatments. I wish I had invested in this sooner. I totally recommend!!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! they have no problem taking your money, or contacting you to purchase additional services but when it comes to trying to book an actual treatment, good luck with that. I have purchased multiple laser packages there, as well as cool sculpting. Most recently I paid IN FULL for my legs to be done. I have only had 2 treatments. I tried to call to book and was on hold multiple times over four days for a total of 250minutes (I have call logs to prove this). I finally went to the Langley location to book in person and was told they didn’t have a receptionist and someone would call me. This was 2 weeks ago, no one has called me. I decided to call the call centre (which is in Florida btw) and press 1 to purchase new services. NOT to my surprise someone called me back within 15min. I didn’t answer, and they left a lovely voice mail encouraging me to call back. They even emailed me to discuss additional services. It’s disgusting to me that your company cannot service the customers you have, and yet continue to take on more customers!! I have no idea what to do here? I want a refund.

Wanted to get full bikini area laser hair removal quoted me $3000.00 it would take 9 sessions and if I paid that day they would take $650.00 off but I couldn't even go outside to talk to my bf which he is paying for it otherwise I would not get the 650 off they tried talking me into financing, and said it couldn't be in his name had to be in mine. They said I could do my first appointment right then which I was not prepared for. I just can't believe how horrible they are more pushy and scummy then door to door sales people. What a joke all they want to do is lock you in right there give you no time to think about it or research other options. I have looked into other places and they are by far cheaper and offer the same results. Ideal Image talked other places down to me first time talking to me on the phone. No wonder they come up first on google I can see where that extra money is going they are ripping people off marketing they don't care about helping people feel better they just care about the $$$$$$$$. Ideal Image do not bother doing your sorry you feel that way please contact us so we can help you because you don't mean it. You only got one star cause there isn't an option for no stars.

Ultherapy doesn’t work and Ideal Image customer service is extremely poor Please read my feedback before you make the decision to go for Ultherapy procedure and to visit ideal image. I went to Ideal Image and the sale person made me feel welcome and comfortable. She is very good applying sale strategies. However, she also makes false promises (guarantees). I shared with her how difficult it was to save money so I would pay for a mini facelift. My family and I made sacrifices for two years so I would be able to pay for the procedure. My main concern was (is) the lines around my mouth. I expressed to the Sales person how important it was for me that ultherapy could get rid of those lines 100%. I was honest with her and asked her if she guarantees ultherapy was able to offer me the same result of a mini facelift so I don’t have to have surgery. I mentioned that if Ultherapy couldn’t remove the lines around my mouth, I wasn’t going to move forward with Ultherapy. So she said “I guarantee it”. I believed and trusted in her entirely. She was so convinced and confident. The day of the procedure, the nurse explained to me a different story. She explained that ultherapy wasn’t going to take away the lines around my mouth 100%. At that moment I felt that Ideal Image didn’t care about my needs/dreams instead they saw me as $$$$. Of course I couldn’t cancel the service because the time to cancel and get my money refunded was passed already (over $2,000). I was informed of the cancellation policy by the Sales person on the same day I met her. I had no option but to continue with the procedure hoping that it was going to work. Six months later I went to Ideal image (Langley location) to see the results of the ultherapy procedure. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. The pictures taken before the procedure were very dark and the pictures after the procedure had so much lighter. We all know that when pictures have so much light the lines on your face decreases considerably. However, even with the light on the picture, the nurses and I could see that the lines decreased very little (no enough for your family and friends see the different). I tried to contact them and share my experience with them. I was looking for a win-win situation. I waited three weeks and they NEVER CONTACTED ME BACK AFTER I SHARE MY EXPREIRNCE WITH THEM VIA EMAIL. I sent the email to the General Manager of ideal Image in Langley, the sale person and the Regional Director of another city hoping she was going to forward the situation to the Regional Director in BC. Clients are looking for quality in products and services. However, trust on the team who represent the company/corporation and who provides/offers that service is extremely important as well. I also suggest to ideal image to train their sale team about ethics and NEVER EVER make believe to clients and/or verbally guarantee false results just to win the sale. The price that Ideal Image will pay, if these situations continue, will be very high. I would like to thank the Nurse Kelsey (Langley location). She was agreeable, kind, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable. I was lucky to have a nurse like her. Have a great day

Absolutely terrible customer service. If I could give a 0 I would. I was in the middle of receiving several laser hair removal treaments when COVID-19 happened. Understandably my appointments were cancelled. When my appointment was cancelled I was told that I would be contacted and my appontment would be rescheduled once the clinic was re-opened. The clinic has now been re-opened for weeks and I have not been contacted about rebooking, I have not been told what the status of my contract is, and I have not been told how they plan to ensure that they fulfill their requirements as set out in my contract. I called them today to reschedule my appointment. An automatic answering system answered the phone by stating that I would be contacted to have my appointment rescheduled. I stayed on the line because I wanted to talk to somebody. I was then put on hold for 20 minutes, when I finally got to talk to someone they were not apologetic saying instead that they had hired a team to deal with this and that they had significant back log of appointments to reschedule. The thing that makes me the most angry is that ever since the clinic has re-opened I have been receiving emails advertising deals on new treatments. I have also seen ads online trying to get new clients. Additionally, I have seen google reviews from new clients who have recently started new treatments. This is unacceptable, I have already paid off my treaments (over $5000.00) but I really wish I could just cancel and get my money back. I feel that because they have already gotten all of my money they could not care less about providing me with proper service, instead they would rather bring in new business. This is unacceptable. I have a legally binding contract and they should be doing everything they can in order to mitigate any potention loss or breach of contract. Until they can meet the needs of their existing clients and contracts they should not be accepting new clients.

I paid for 5 sessions of BBL (over $1000.00) and told Natasha I want the South Surrey location. I received an email 10 min later with an appt already booked for me in Langley. When I called Langley, they said South Surrey don't have the BBL machine yet. So when I tried to book my 5 appts with Langley, i got 1 for this Saturday but they said they were booked up for the next month and can't take any appts after that. I can only get on the cancellation list. She suggested going out to Richmond but I have not heard back from them. I feel they just wanted to get the sale and didn't care about fulfilling the contract. Very poor customer service. Update: I complained to the highest person in Management, she called me back and I was able to book my 4 next appointments with no problem. Thats what I expected in the first place but I was glad they honored their part of the contract. My first session went well and I definitely see an improvement in my face. Happy with the result so far.

My recent experience with Ideal Image has been better than it has in the past primarily because of my nurse Amneet who I have had my last two treatments with. I have still noticed quite a lot of corse hair growth and she has recorded and voiced my concerns. I have a lifetime membership and obviously I am not wanting to go into this when there is still a substantial amount of growth, but as a whole my treatments have been consistent and Amneet as well as other nurses I have had in the past do their very best to make it a comfortable process. I will say that sometimes it is frustrating dealing with managers as they are quick to say you must go into lifetime despite no hormonal changes and a substantial amount of growth still occurring, however, my ten treatments were completely unsuccessful and spread out over two years while I was between two countries, which was pretty disheartening considering I had paid in full upfront - also not an accurate assessment if they haven't actually seen you in person like the nurses do. Overall, Amneet and the nurses do and excellent job but management could do with some improvement!

Never gonna recommend this place to anyone. Poor customer service don't even think what their customers are looking for. Only think about making their own money. i wish they could explain it in better way so that person should be cleared of what they are paying for and whom they are paying to. It's a sales trick to earn their own profit to make people fool. during consultation they not even gonna give time to think about something and push you to sign up for the thing. Those are forceful sales. Called them to cancel my agreement as i don't see any results for the treatment, moreover leaser treatment is so painful, everyone will not be able to tolerate that pain. Same thing happened with me, i won't be able to tolerate it if i have to suffer from it after. No agreement says that give yourself a pain and pay for it and suffer from that pain after. but these people say it so. because they just need their money. i already paid for whatever treatment i got but don't wanna pay for the services m not gonna receive it anymore but they don't care. even though these policies were not mentioned during they make you sign because that is under pressure they not gonna get you out of the room before signing it. don't trust them. am going to legal advice to make a claim because that's the only solution as these people are helpless. request to everyone please think twice before signing the thing and make everything clear to yourself about what and whom you are paying.

Ok so I'm changing my review now as I've been going here for over a year. Overall, the experience and service at this location is just ok. I do have to agree with others and say that when I was purchasing my first hair removal package over a year ago, the sales person did not seem knowledgeable whatsoever which did not make me feel confident in the company at all. As for the treatments themselves, I'm not impressed with the overall results. Being someone with the "ideal" skin tone and hair colour for optimal results, I haven't seen the reduction I was hoping for and I am at the end of my treatment.

Ideal image is a real rip off!!! I went for consult about a year ago. Wanted hair removal on couple of areas. As many mentioned here already, reps are very pushy to get you to sign. With the 75% off of the price they still wanted to charge me arm and a leg. I made partial payment by cash to them in hopes to get started on treatments anyway. Financing could of make it possible. I thought about it and called them the very next day to cancell and get my money back. For that price I can have new used vehicle. People were not returning my calls, not wanting to deal with my reimbursement when I finally got upset and asked to speak to the manager. I was getting run around and company making soooo much money out of customers was not able to pay me back in months!!!! Customer service is horrible and it was very frustrating having to deal with them. Shame on the company. All of advertising and fault promises make me sick

I have had 2 Forever Young BBL treatments and am so happy with the results! I am 37 and spent my 20s in the sun. I had some brown spots on face from sun exposure. I normally don't do reviews but I'm very frustrated with ideal image. I also normally don't do purchases on the spot but they really make you feel like you are missing out on a great deal. What frustrated me the most is that the next day I called and asked if I could cancel my treatment and was willing to pay a cancellation fee but they said this was not possible. I wish I would have done more research before going here. I haven't had my cool sculpting done yet but I'm very nervous and after all the reviews I have read I'm scared of the results. I would not recommend ideal image...they don't really inspire understanding or trust.

Sadly I have to agree with most of the other reviews, I had the same type of experience. After all treatments I called and explained I was extremely disappointed with the outcome. The manager that I spoke with showed no compassion and told me my results were good, which I still feel they weren't considering how much it was hyped up to be in the consultation. I can however say the Technicians were professional and made me feel comfortable while having the treatments done. The amount it costs for the end result; I wouldn't recommend it's worth doing.

I am quite sad to write a negative review because the people I have been seeing have been very nice to me. However, I went in with a few facial hairs. I mean you can count them. 1, 2, 3...7. And their professionals decided to laser my whole face. I just followed along thinking, "they know what they're doing". After months of laser pain and large amounts of money, ladies and gentlemen, I have a beard now. I have full facial hair triggered by the laser. All because they lasered all the areas where I didn't have hair! Ideal image head office barely cared. I was in tears for so long. I'm a fair skinned girl with dark hair. Paid the full amount for my sides on my face and upper lip. Went in for my treatment and the nurse said that I did not need it for my upper lip as I had just one black hair in that area. So the next day I called the consultant who had enrolled me and asked for a partial refund. She said they don't do refunds. We have lawyers in our family and I asked my brother in law to check it out. He said that we can go to small court but I shlc try and sort it out first. So I called the consultant and she said she wld talk to her manager. I got a call a couple of days later from a lady called Tanya and she said that they were going to give me a credit back to my card. Its been almost 4 weeks, I have not received it. In these times with one pay check in the home that money is really needed.

Very dissatisfied with the overall process. This is my first laser hair removal experience and I trusted the knowledge of the nurses. Very quickly into treatment, what was originally stated changed and continued to change regularly depending on the nurse. My Brazilian went from "fully treatable" to not. Underarms went from "possibly treatable" and given a trial treatment which resulted in 80% shed and reevaluated to be "mostly treatable" but then left with many coarse dark hairs as well. I voiced my concerns throughout the process. Double passes were introduced and performed going forward for all treatments. My "last treatment" I again voiced my concerns of not being suffice and was booked for a check up. At check up I was advised I would have to start paying my life time payments to receive further treatments. Yes, I am fully aware there is GREAT amount of reduction in both areas but, there could be more results. I don't feel that the, set 9 treatments works for everyone, is a fair valuation in all cases. I feel I was led to expect much more results and by the end told essentially it is what it is. My treatments were over a much greater span of time due to COVID which I feel may have been a factor in less results but also not considered. I do not feel my concerns were taken seriously and am left feeling very disappointed and unsatisfied; especially for the high price tag. I will not recommend this treatment or salon with the state I am left in. People should be advised to expect less results than initially told or disappointment is evident for many. Also, if hair is potentially untreatable due to "blonde roots unseen" yet the hair is dark, this is most definitely something that should be mentioned PRIOR to taking clients money. I feel taken advantage of greatly. -Kira

For a company who has a lot of pride in themselves, their sales tactics and lack of being upfront about things is pitiful. I’ve never written a review before but I’m hoping this will better prepare some other people before they go in. I purchased a package from them earlier this week. I have yet to have the treatment, so I can’t comment on that yet, but so far my experience has been comparable to a sleazy car salesman. I sent in an online request for a consult. They contacted me within hours by email, phone call, and text message. Kind of strange but okay maybe they’re just seeing an opportunity. Went in at 11:00 am for my appointment and waited 45 minutes to see someone for my consultation. Also okay, it was an open house day and they were quite busy which I understood. Now upon seeing the price quoted for laser hair removal (about $1600 + GST), I told her I would have to think about it. I have been pretty sure I want the service for a while now, but that’s a lot of money. She told me the promotion was only good for the day and asked why I was hesitant. Who wouldn’t be hesitant to spend that much without thinking about it for a while? We went over a few payment plan options and I decided to split the cost into two, paying half then and half at my second treatment. Now this is where I feel swindled and lied to. She was showing me pages of the contract on an iPad, but they were all BLANK. I understood that it was a technical difficulty, and took her word for it when she was explaining what was on each of these blank pages. My own fault for trusting her I guess. Upon receiving the contract in my email and going over it, she had me sign for an extra $262.50 for the Lifetime Guarantee. At no point did she mention or show me this added cost. I told her I was a student and have been out of work for a year. My quote was for $1641(tax in). This has now cost me just over $1900. Also, this is apparently at 70% off. Craziness. After my appointment I went back to read the emails they sent me (which I had ignored because I was answering over text), and they had told me that the offer was valid until Saturday!!! I bought my package on the Thursday before and she said the offer was only for that day. I chalk it up to me being a little excited to have this done, and I guess putting too much trust into these supposed professionals :( But all of this has left me with a very negative image of their business. I understand the world of sales but if you’re as good as you say you are... you shouldn’t have to manipulate people. I probably would have still went ahead with it if she were honest, and felt much better about it.

They’re taking my money away from me without getting the proper treatments and I was still paying before, during, and after the pandemic. Awful experience, If they had zero star option or mines start option I would do that, Big mistake was not reading reviews and fall for the radio add on trusting them thinking that they see us as human not just a dollar sign, but no from the first app to the payment to the cool sculpture treatment and a facial treatment called BBL all negative, I had anything from last min app changes ( which has been set month in advance) to the change on so called monthly payment from $160 to $240, misleading me with a treatment that did not work for me at all, they lied to me and mislead me and push for getting that sale done. I open up to them as woman to woman and they toke advantage of that, after the first session i told them I am very unhappy and been told that it takes 3 month to show result which that never been mention before, they told me you will see intimidate result, but be aware that this is not gone make any change on your weight or size, ( which later on they use that as an excuse for not seeing the result among the bad lighting when she was trying to take pic). almost a year of confusion and during all that I only had one phone call to fallow up after the 2 round of the treatment, and after they were done no mention of what to do to take care of it or how to deal with the pain or the care after that. Later on some lady who said she is the new manager got in touch with me after complaining and calling them and she said she will take care of it and she will call me back, and after few weeks another lady called saying she is Shahina and she is the new one in charge of that place and she was there to help all unhappy customers and deal with everything ( confuse yet? ) and saying that she will get my money back and she is sorry about my experience and so on...., after trying to sale me a hair removal package or another treatment instead of money which i said no thanks never again want to step in your establishment for anything so she said she will call me in 10 days and that was almost a month and half ago, which i try to call and email but nothing came out of it. The list of deception goes on and on on this spa place, I am failing a former complain against them with BBB and will try my best to take them to court so they will never ever take advantage of people like that.

I am a very fit 51 year old woman. I go to boot camp 3 to 4 times a week and I eat lean. Unfortunately, I can’t get rid of my (small) spare tire. I thought I would give cool sculpting a try. I was told by the Ideal Image staff that someone as fit as me was a “prime candidate”. I spent $5000 and got no positive results at all. I am the same weight and my measurements are exactly the same as before. I understand results are not guaranteed, but I am very disappointed. I got really upset when I was told that a lot of people got better results the second time around. I just blew $5000 and got absolutely zero value for my money and you want me to spend another $5000? Are you for real? Be aware of the hard sell tactics. Just say no.

I do not recommend "cool sculpting" to anyone trying to lose fat. It's a complete scam! The procedure is incredibly expensive even with any promotions they have, it's painful, and the pain and swelling doesn't go away for weeks. However, if the procedure works who cares? But it doesn't work, you want to see results so badly you convince yourself you're seeing a difference. After 3 months you then get to see your before and after photos, hoping that it's just been a gradual change and the photos will show crazy differences. They don't, but the nurse tells you it looks better, and you can definitely see some "concrete results". But you can't because there are none, if you're like me, at this point you're embarrassed and dreading telling your loved ones that you wasted almost $6000 on literally nothing. In my experience I was told I would only need one procedure and I would get maximum results. I didn't. 3 months after my procedure I had my after pictures taken, the nurse said to me that it always works better the second time. So I have to spend another $6000 to get the results I was told I would get? The sad thing is I was tempted to say yes, they prey on your insecurities and will try to suck every last dime they can out of you. I am now 5 months post procedure, no results, out $6000, and more depressed about my appearance then I was going into this ordeal. I still get emails from them telling me about their promotions and what a great deal everything is, but it's not, it doesn't work. I wanted to quick fix my body image issues but I can't. I wish I could have seen how unrealistic all of this was before I spent the money on this procedure. My advice to my former self would be to take that money and go to therapy to help work through my issues. But I can't go back, and am out $6000 because I got scammed.

VERY disappointed in this place. There is no communication in a timely manner. It has been already 5 weeks since I wanted to cancel my Cool Sculpting.. I decided that I did NOT want to go through with it because I read the risk after my meeting with Tanya. The consult was very quick and I didn't had the chance to read it until I got home. Tanya said that the manager will contact me well.. that took her 3 weeks to call me and then she said she will call me back in a week.. it has been 2 weeks now. And they charged me!!! But good thing I put a stop payment on it. PLEASE make sure you read the risk because this place will take forever to connect. As of today, I have no idea what is happening with this. I am not even a new customer. I have done my hair removal here and it was great. Now, I am not sure if I would recommend this place because the communication is not there.

I followed their instructions that were given and went through with all my sessions and when I complained at the end that I wasn't happy all I got was your hair is blonde which it isn't and if we treat it anymore you could experience ill effects and I wouldn't want that would I ? However I would have been happy if they had even just said let it grow out so we can see what we can do but nope, all that was done was review my file and make a decision. Sorry you spent so much... I don't even listen to the radio stations that play their ads anymore because I'm so disappointed in their business ethics. I noticed that they had commented and emailed and they sent me on to their local office which I emailed them back with my concerns, which I never heard a reply back from.

I bought an underarms laser package. Came for my 10 sessions. During the treatments the hair growth was minimal which was fantastic!! Now that I have finished the package a lot of the hair has grown back.. not ideally what I spent $1500 on. Wish it had better results.

Lies and manipulation. They show you all there math and promises you deals but when it comes down to it the information you think you are agreeing to is simply not in your contract and you’ll be asked for pay more money or lose your deposit. Then the results were minimal and when we tried to agree on a price for a second treatment they went against there word a second time.

LOVE Ideal Image !! I have noticed a crazy amount of hair loss and I no longer have to shave. Nurses are very friendly and make you feel comfortable during treatments. Very fast too, I get mine done within 15 mins and there is no pain afterwards. I would return in the future if I ever want other parts done ! They are professional and qualified for the job, would recommend them 100 times.

The visit I made to Ideal Image in Langley for my free consultation was very upsetting: 1) Despite stating on the radio that they will customize your treatments, this is not the case. Ideal Image divides the face into several different areas and if you have even just one hair in a separate area, you pay for that whole entire area. They quoted me $8000 plus tax to permanently remove 12 hairs. 2) After showing my surprise at the cost of the treatments, the technician became rude and condescending. She told me this probably wasn't the place for me and that electrolysis might be more suited to my kind of budget. I found her tone and comments to be completely offensive and purposely degrading. 3) After so many treatments Ideal Image guarantees that the hairs won't grow back, yet they charge a maintenance fee to remove any other hairs that grow in that same area. I asked why I would have to pay a maintenance fee if the treatment was guaranteed. The technician's response was, "If any hairs grew back in that area, they would be entirely new hairs." How do they know which hairs are which. They have no way to prove this and just keep insisting that their treatments are guaranteed. Paying a maintenance fee states to me that there is no guarantee!!

I don't recommend Ideal Image. I attend the Langley location. My second visit was awful. I got burned by the laser. I was given an ice pack to cool the area and some cream to help sooth the pain immediately after my treatment. Then when I asked why it was so much more painful than the first time, the technician said that she didn't agree wirh whoever did my consultation or assessment initially and felt my hair was much more coarse therefore she turned up the intensity on the laser. She also didn't agree with previous assessment that i should return in 5 weeks and said I should return in 8 instead. She was rude and indignant. My skin was irritated for 3 days afterwards and after 2.5 weeks, my skin has brown patches where it was burned. I am very disappointed that I fell for their hard pressure sales tactics and scam advertising. I don't recommend this place. I have been doing laser treatments in various parts of my face and body for 9 years at professional, medical clinics. I have NEVER had any issues. Go elsewhere. It will be cheaper and you won't be stuck in some contract and made to feel angry and unsafe.
