I am a very loyal customer and have been coming to VK nails for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The salon is very clean, it is well managed, they are accommodating and care deeply about their clients. I am always treated kindly, my nails and toes are perfect and I am consistently happy with the services provided. My family and friends travel from various cities to come and get their services here. Both Vivian and Kim are incredibly professional, care about their job and ensure their clients are well taken care of. I would highly recommend this nail salon.

I booked a nail appointment for TWO at 5:45pm and when we arrived they said we were only written down for 1 person.... I waited 45 minutes while my friend got her nails done and i still hadn't been seen. I will not return. Thank you for wasting my time.

Took my daughter for the first & last time!!! We called to book an appt and asked if they did acrylics the answer was YES and once she got there and already started they told her they didn’t do acrylics and those were gel!!! She said OK she let it pass… but not only the unprofessionalism from whoever worked on her nails saw them all smudge and the way they ended up it is not acceptable and in no way someone professional would have allowed this!!! Never again!! This is not customer service in any way!!! My daughter was so mad she didn’t even wanted go back for them to fix it I had to look for another salon to get the mess fixed!!!

I love the owners Vy and Kim. They are really thorough and good at what they do. If you are in a hurry go elsewhere, but if you want some relaxing "me" time this is the spot. Very clean and modern shop! I've been getting mani pedi plus brows tinted and waxed here for 5 years. Its busy so book ahead. Prices are fair so a proper tip is in order.

I have been getting services for gel nails, pedicure and spa services for some time. The staff are prompt and friendly. I enjoy my hour or more with the staff in a clean, safe and professional setting. The variety of colours is wide. The value for money is good. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone. They care for my mom each and every time to enable good foot care for her in her senior years.

I love this place so much. I got a biogel manicure and it was absolutely flawless with a very cool temperature changing nail colour on top. The women who work and own the salon are so kind. Found my nail place away from Toronto!

I have come here many times in the last 4 years and they are always very kind to me. They take their time and they're very friendly. I've tried other nail salons and they aren't the same. Today I came back for a pedicure and noticed it wasn't as busy and honestly it should be super busy because they do an amazing job. I agree with the experience below. It took me 3 hours to have Shellac mani with pedi and Shellac removal because my technician went and did someone else's pedicure while she left me with the foils on for 45 minutes. No consideration for others, just for the big bucks. Unacceptable customer service, truly. I too will go elsewhere. Better to turn one of us away rather than lead people on because eventually karma will come up to you and bite in the ass when people starting leaving your business as I and the person who commented 4 weeks ago will now do. You will eventually lose out on money when other people leave too. It's a shame because you truly do have a beautiful facility in which to operate. Change your business plan if you want to stay in business!!!

I went in and got a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. While i was there the ladies were very friendly, and super efficient in completing my mani and pedi! The woman who did my pedicure gave me the best foot massage i ever recieved which was amazing! Unfortunately, within one day, the shellac was peeling off - after only 4 days, i only had one solid nail left! (i was not doing anything extensive or banging my nails - just normal daily duties!) My pedicure also started chipping a few days in which was dissapointing. I reached out to the salon and attached a pictuer of my nails - they took a few days to respond and asked me to come back in so they can fix it. I responded with stating all my nails had peeled off so there isn't anything left to 'fix' and got no response. Unfortuantely, i won't be returning.

I should have just left. I didn't make an appointment but the way they treated people who did it wouldn't make a difference. They don't do massage, they don't shape your nails, she spent more time cleaning polish off my skin then the rest of the pedicure. I'd love to stay close to home but I won't be back to this place!

Terrible experience. I scheduled a manicure for myself and my friend to have manicures done together. We got there and they started my friend while I waited. Two people walked in after us to get pedicures and they were served right away at the same time while I waited. After about ten minutes of waiting a lady started to do my nails and half way through she went back to finish the pedicure. After about another ten minutes she returned to finish my manicure. When it came time to pay I had a stamp card with one stamp left. I paid for mine and got the stamp and then wanted to use the card to get the free manicure for my friend. The lady refused to take the card and then finally said it only covers regular manicures and still charged me $15. Every stamp I received on the card was for a shellac manicure and no where on the card does it say “free manicure excludes shellac.” I have been here many times but I will not return. The service seems to get worse each time. I will find a new place to take my money.

Very bad experience. Price is not reasonable, they said one price and later charged something different. Not clean. Overall my Shellac manicure experience was bad.

Took my wife here for a pedicure as she was wanting to get this before our baby was born. The attention to detail and kindness of the people was amazing! Loved the chats and service they provide and for a super reasonable price. I also got a pedicure and it was way better then I thought it would be. I will be back myself! Also the massage chairs are amazing and they let me chill in them a little long while my wife’s nails dried. Great price, great service. Will not disappoint!

My husband and I have been going here ever since they opened up. Viv, and Kim are very accommodating to our needs as seniors. The spa is very clean, bright, and we feel very comfortable when we are there. The protocol with respects to Covid , is very well followed...something that is important to us during these trying times. Absolutely disgusting and unethical business practices. When you get a pedicure, it’s INCLUDED in the service that the old polish is removed. At this place they made up a random $5 “removal” charge for my old polish while I was getting a whole pedicure from them. $45 for a pedicure and $5 extra for removal??!? No other place does this. Entirely unethical business practices and scammers trying to make $5 extra. Disgusting, pathetic scammers. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Welcome Back!! I have been coming to VK Nails & Spa salon since they first opened up shop in the neighborhood. I am so happy they weathered the worst of the Covid storm. I was able to see them last week for a well needed pedicure. Although they may not have known how thrilled I was behind my mask, I can assure them, I had smiles. They have taken all the needed precautions, as well as courses to make the experience comfortable, but most of all safe. Everyone was wearing a mask(as requested), which is not a problem for me. Down from my station were two other guests all spaced out from myself again wearing masks. I watched as the guest was leaving, the staff immediately clean the pedicure station. It was not left unattended. They always do a fabulous job, and I can't wait till the guidelines lift for an eyebrow wax...all in time. Supporting local business in our community is more important than ever, to keep our favorite places going. My parents also attend this salon. So if you get a chance to try them out please do. Make sure you make a reservation, as they are unable to take walk ins at this time. Thank you VK Nails & Spa. See you in July :)

Both Vy & Kim are very welcoming and do there very best to ensure that they greet every customer who comes into their shop - they even welcome EVERYONE by name even if they have only come to their shop a few times! They really pay attention to detail and care about doing a good job. A mani pedi is only $45 and took 2 hours. They were busy when I walked in but I made an appointment for 2 hours later and the lady remembered my name when I came back. Will have my nails done here again for sure.

Worst experience ever! My bf and I have been getting our nails done for 15 yrs. We decided to try this place out as it is right beside my work. We booked appointments, my bf was having a manicure and shellac finish, and I was having shellac finish with a design. Because I did not want a manicure I was told I could not have my nails done and we were asked to leave. I have since spoke with other people from my work who have had similar horrible experiences with the salon.

This was my first time at this nail salon. I walked in and asked for a Solar fill. She tried to talk me into bio gel and I said no- I want solar. That is what I have been doing for years and I like it. They said okay. So I pick my colour, sit down and we start. After sanding all the nails she starts applying bio gel. I said no- I asked for Solar. She then tried to tell me they don’t have the solar powder and can only do Bio gel. I said that is not what I asked for and you didn’t tell me that when I came in. At that point I felt I was somewhat stuck with half finished nails. When I went to pay she charged me $62. I almost fell over. I have never paid more than $50 including tax for a fill anywhere! I can only assume she charged me for a new bio gel set. While the finished product was okay, I was not impressed with feeling duped into paying for bio gel when that is not what I asked for. I will definitely not return again.

Service isn’t the greatest, water was cold the entire time, they mixed up a shellac nail polish with a normal nail polish and made my appointment a half hour longer than needed, prices are not reasonable, she nearly cut me three times, not very gentle. Would not recommend going here. Also the colour choices are awful ????
