I’ve been getting my bio sculpture nails done by the lovely and talented Linh since July 2018. I always look forward to my appointments with her. The salon is beautiful, relaxing, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

I switched to this salon from all my nails in Waterloo where I had only bad experiences with the employees. I Always enjoy my experience here. My nails always look great and last at least 2-3 weeks before they need to be re-done. Mindy is very sweet and friendly and is talented at what she does. Prices are fair and they are always upfront when things will cost extra. You just have to communicate with them what you want exactly (if you want a nail design on every nail they will tell you it's $20 extra or $2 a nail). I have only had one negative experience with an older male tech who used a drill too aggressively and was not friendly so now I only request Mindy when I book my appointments and am never disappointed! This has been my regular nail place for a year or so going every 2-3 weeks.

Needed a new local place to get my Pedis done at and this was just down from my work. I was booked in with Mindy who did a fantastic job caring for callouses, ingrowns, and general care. Her foot massage is to DIE for. I would return JUST for that. Make sure to bring flip flops if you get a regular polish done! I forgot and even after sitting for a bit I still managed to rub the paint off a toe. My bad!

I had an appointment at 9am, and as of 3pm my thumb nail is already starting to peel off. My friend had asked for marble designs and got a big black dot and when she asked the lady to redo it because it was poorly done all she said was "Everybody does marble differently". When we got our pedicure she sat with cold water in the bath for 10 minutes. We paid $93 and $103 for our pedicure and refill/ a new set and it was absolutely horrible.

I've been to many places and this is one of the worst! I made an appointment before hand then they tell me I didn't to find out all of their appointments weren't coming up - no apology- that's fine accidents happen. Then they continue to rush through my nail appointment (fill with shellac) only gave me one coat of Polish. They had no towels to dry my hands Didn't file properly not only my nails but my mom's were lumpy and unfinished. Not to mention it was $50 with tax for the fill and shellac. I'll never go back. Rude attitude as well. I did ecpress my concern verbally and how I was unhappy. They recently called me to try and help me have a better experience. I really do appreciate the offer and the follow-up.

Really pleased with this salon. The location itself is very clean, it was obvious that cleanliness is a priority to them. Disposable nail instruments, plastic pedicure tub liners, sanitizing the pedicure station right after I was done, etc. Good value, gel polish mani/pedi was $80. You can also book online, which was really convenient. Very peaceful environment. There's also a private room you can book.

The first time I went here was in July for shellac mani, and I had a great experience. The technician I had was good and I loved the result. I went back this week to get the same thing, and I had the same technician. I found her extremely rude and impatient this time, and made me feel very unwelcome. She downright scolded me for messing up one of the nails accidentally, which seemed easy enough for her to fix. That completely embarrassed me. Because of the unprofessional behaviour, I dont think I'll be back. Maybe she was having a bad day, I dont know. I can tell that she takes great pride in her work, but a few of the nails have bubbles in them because I think she rushed them.

Kate runs a very clean salon and spa. Kate and her staff are friendly and efficient. I like that the equipment is sterilized for each client, you get your own package of files and buffs and a disposable liner in the pedicure tubs. You pay a little more, but it is worth it for the extra cleanliness and sterilization. Highly recommend Huron Nails and Spa!

The salon was very clean and nice looking, however the nail technician I had was rushing through my shellac manicure. My nails turned out messy and the edges weren't filed smoothly, when I asked for her to fix my nails she was rude and still wouldn't do it the way I asked. The final results were still nice but it wasn't a favourable experience.

One of the best nail salons I’ve been to! First off, it was so beautiful inside and clean! Secondly, I was greeted very kindly and brought in right away. Kate did my nails, she was AMAZING! So friendly and did an amazing job. I was also told that if any chips or breaks within a week, I can return for a free fix! Overall my experience was a 10/10!! Highly recommend!!

Anyone who knows me can attest to how PICKY I am when it comes to getting my nails done. There is always thorough searches done before I settle on a place to try. I keep my natural nails very long and spend the cash to get proper bio-gel wraps done. That said, when my nail was ripping and I needed an urgent repair done to keep it, so I decided to give this place a try. I was NOT disappointed. Not only did my amazing nail tech (Kate) take her time to fix the nail, her technique for doing the wrap was perfection! The last place I went to, the lady kinda globbed the gel on...Kate took her time to properly layer each coating to ensure that they last. Layering it this way also made them look bare and beautiful! Their pricing is completely on point as well! I have found my new "nail haven"! Also, they have an awesome loyalty program! The place itself is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. I look forward to my next appointment! (PS. Yes, I like to keep my nails bare so that I can use regular polish and change it up whenever I feel like...)..Thanks again Kate for the awesome nails!

I visited this location and was very happy with my pedicure and solar gel nails. The spa was very clean, had beautiful decor and friendly staff. I loved the massage chair feature while I was getting my toes done, it was perfect for getting pampered and relaxing. While having my beautiful nails done, the manager allowed my father to wait in a massage chair too, which was so nice! I will definitely recommend these professionals and will happily return.

After seeing the 4.7 star rating I was deeply disappointed in my nail polish chipping off within the first few days. I have been to different salons where I have paid much less, been offered a beverage etc and my nail polish lasted for about a month. I was highly disappointed and will not be returning again nor will I be recommending this place.

They do a great job on fills and shaping. They're pretty good at designs, too. Colors are slightly limited compared to other salons, but they're really friendly. Always have time for walk-ins, I've noticed.

Things are usually great when I visit but I was disappointed today to be charged for a combo mani/ pedi when the mani service I got was not the usual/ complete treatment. I understand wanting to close on time but NOT accepting called-in walkins at 3:45pm would be a better approach than to do a little less and charge the same. The young woman who checked me out seemed pretty flippant about it and the usual customer service level was missing today. UPDATED REVIEW: I spoke with a manager who listened to my concerns and acted swiftly with great customer service. I have since had 3 great appointments with my favorite technician.

I got an amazing manicure and pedicure here. I got fake nails done too. They did an awesome job and the foot/leg/hand massage is a great touch. I went back two days later because I wasnt particularly happy with the shape I chose and the bright colour I had could have used more coats. So they allowed me to come back and get it fixed how I liked. I thought this was awesome as I had paid so much initially, I figured I deserved to get what I paid for even if it was 2 days later. Overall, very impressed and I will be returning here :)

Not my favorite experience. I had an appointment for shellac nails so sat in the waiting room and was stared at the entire time by an older man in flip flops so that was uncomfortable. He finally came over, looks at my nails, asked what I wanted, and was told by the receptionist that I had an appointment with someone else. I finally get seated and it was not a relaxing experience. My nail technician was very distracted with what the girl beside her was doing (kept getting up and telling her how to do the other girls nails). I left with very lumpy and uneven nails because she rushed and wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. Plus side, they're located beside a good pizza place so at least I got lunch!

Loved my experience. I got a mani & pedi here. The price was fair, utensils were clean, and workers were so friendly. The service was fast and my nail tech took his time. This was honestly the best mani pedi I’ve ever gotten. I didn’t get a chance to get my nail tech’s name but he was very friendly and did an amazing job. After moving to the area and a few months of COVID, I was desperately needing my nails done. I found Huron Nails in June and had my first appointment with Rachel for bio gel nails and shellac polish. Rachel did a fantastic job. I like hand painted designs on my nails and she has never disappointed. She has done my nails 3-4 times now. They last so well the only reason I have to have them redone is they grow too long otherwise they still look perfect. The salon itself is lovely, has a nice atmosphere, and is clean. Have to book an appt for my Christmas nails very soon! Thank you Huron Nails and Rachel!

It was a different lady by the way.The lady showed me in the mirror my eyebrows and I could see right away they were too thin. I specifically told her as well only a clean up don’t change the shape of my brows. Clearly she did not listen. Plus my left eyebrow is thinner than the other, making them not even. It’s not something other people would notice but for me yes. I’m exteremely self conscious. I hope they grow back very fast. As soon as I got home today I began applying castor oil. I’m so upset. Definitely going to go to a much more expirence place next time to get my eyebrows waxed.

My mom booked an appointment for herself, my 2 sisters, and I for 2:00 on the 24th. Upon arrival, I was not impressed. There were two younger staff members at the front that had poor manners and were arguing in front of clients. Despite having an appointment for 4, one of my sisters and I waited 45 minutes before we were seated to have our nails done. There was one other woman in the waiting area that also had an appointment booked for 2:00 however, she left after 45 minutes because no one had come to start her appointment. During the manicure, I was extremely disappointed with the service. My fingers were soaked in cold water and there was no soap. She was very rough when filing my nails which was uncomfortable and did a very poor job shaping them. Individual nails are uneven, and appear almost wavy. The woman working on my nails initially also cut my finger with the cuticle clipper, which made me bleed and didn't offer an apology or compensation for it. I asked for a discount at the end of the appointment and the woman at the front asked where I was cut, when I showed her she rolled her eyes and gave me 10% off. Will not be back.

This was my first time visiting Huron Nails. I came all the way from Toronto because of the reviews and the pandemic. This place is incredibly clean, modern inside, great customer service with better services and a even better talent working there. There is this young gentleman that does nails- which is absolutely amazing, talented, detail oriented and hands down, one of the best nail stylists Ive ever used. 5 stars all the way! I had to wait a little longer then my appt but it was busy so that is understandable. My only issue is that they do not put a sign stating you can *only tip cash* which causes people to not tip the stylists as much as they should. They should put a sign or tell their customers over the phone when they book so people can tip the proper amount deserved.

Went here to get acrylics for bridal nails. The nails turned out well, but the grinding down and harsh treatment on my cuticles left lasting effects. I couldn't wash my hands in warm water without my cuticles stinging and bleeding on a majority of my fingers shortly after having them done and for days after. Eventually they scabbed a bit and the bleeding was finished, but then I had to get them removed. I figured I would just go back here for the removal since they had given me the acrylics in the first place, but I really should have thought about it more. The technician ground my nails down so much and made them super thin. I couldn't repaint them again for about 5 months because of the obvious difference of level from where the acrylics had been removed and where my nail had begun to grow out. They offer a birthday discount and I believe they have a rewards system, but it's not at all worth it. I should also mention that as my technician was about to start my acrylics, she put my fingers in warm water and fumbled around to put her materials from her previous client away, but accidentally spilled a small container of rhinestones on the table and floor. I get that mistakes are made, and I wasn't inconvenienced at all by this, but without saying anything to me at all I had to wait over 30 minutes with my hands in this water while she picked up every single rhinestone that had fallen. She even swept the floor and then took a small sifter to filter out the dust to see if she had missed any. I was confused and bothered by this and the technicians lack of communication. So this, on top of the physical pain of both acrylic application and removal, has me discouraging people from going to huron nails.

When I go to get my nails done I kind of expect to be pampered but when asked to pick my colour I was being commanded to put it back, no big deal for that though but the attitude towards me was rough, kind of a sassy employee.. The girls do a fantastic job here! Linh is wonderful!! It is a few more bucks than most other salons, but believe me, it's worth it! And I'm usually a cheapskate! LOl! The manager or owner however needs to smile and greet customers when they come in but if you can overlook that, I highly recommend this salon! Was thrilled with this place my first visit even though I did not get the person I booked with. He had started with someone else even though I booked my appointment a week in advance and was actually early for my appointment. Had a lovely girl named Rachel instead and she did an amazing job!!! So good that I booked her for my wedding nails 3 weeks in advance. When I came in to get my wedding nails done, Rachel wasn't there so I had someone else (who didn't have a name tag). I told her it was for my wedding and they needed to be perfect like Rachel had done prior. It is now Tuesday.....my wedding was last Friday and my nails are all chipped. They are also all shaped different, so needless to say I have no close up pictures with my ring, or flowers. I was also charged $70 for a solar refill (that is $35 on their website) and a ombre which is apparently a $20 upcharge.

The woman that answered was polite and professional and thorough in her response. She gave me the price of the service (solar refill $35) along with the additional charges (shellac $10) for my request. After reading the reviews, I booked with Kate. Day of my appointment: The salon is exceptionally clean and beautiful! Kate did a wonderful job on my nails! I highly recommend this Salon and will definitely come back. The service fee was exactly as quoted.

I've been going here since June. Kate is fabulous and I leave happy. Customer service is a focus here. I seldom wait for my appointment and if I do, it is no more than 5 min. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I also love that I can collect points toward discounts and freebies. Went with a friend to a different salon but next time it's all Huron. ADD: I highly recommend the paraffin wax treatment especially during the winter months. The softness and hydration cannot be matched. Kate also gives luxurious facials that leave the skin so soft. Further add: I now also come here for facial waxing and have not been disappointed.

Over all bad experience both my nails and my friends were done wrong cracks on mine choppy on top aswell. They didn't listen to her with her length or shape and hurt her finger aswell . Nails are overall not great at all and the techniques I seen being done I've never seen before they clearly weren't good. They are also over priced especially when coming out unhappy. Awful gel manicure. Probably worst manicure of my life. Uneven application. Bubbles in nail polish. Cuticles not trimmed. Polish ON my actual cuticles and skin around nail. She (older lady, did not tell me her name) also tried to use a rough electric drill used for acrylic nails on my natural nail “to remove the cuticle” before I stopped her. ???? Older man who sits by the front door then came over and tried to justify her using the drill. Drills should never be used on natural nails, nor are drills (with that attachment) used for removing cuticles. Horrible application, I could do a better job on my own hands. 38$ for a “manicure” that has to be redone at another nail salon because it’s so awful. 20 minutes after the manicure it was already peeling around the free edges by my cuticles. Random black pieces/flecks are embedded in the polish. Refer to photos, they are worth a million words. Avoid this place. Unsure how it’s rated so highly.

If I could rate this salon a 0 I would. The lady who did my nails was continuously reminded by her colleagues of correct procedure. I was unsatisfied with the services I received and expressed my feelings to the ‘manager’. She apologized and made up various excuses for the nail technician. The same day 1 of my gel nails peeled off. I called back and the best the owner could offer me was for my nails to be redone. It is very inconsiderate that the owner could not consider that his employees are under qualified and unprofessional. Also, the amount of time and gas that needs to be accounted for makes their ‘’redo’’ offer inadequate.

I got a pedicure, made an appointment, however without letting me know they were running late, I ended up waiting 20 min before the process even started. Did not tell me that my appointment could not be fulfilled at the onset and advised me half way through that I would have to return another time because of broken equipment. I came to this place for a pedicure because it was so highly recommended and seemed like a clean place. When I was here there were bugs flying around me when I was getting my pedicure, which I thought was fricken grosss. Then, about two days after coming home from here I started getting a fungus under my toe nail and haven’t been able to get rid of it. I think this place needs to be looked into.

Got gel nails done the first time there and I loved the service and attention to detail. Went back a second time and was not very pleased because the guy who did my nails rushed and didnt pay attention to detail. I called the next day to inform I was not happy with how my nails turned out and I was scheduled to go for a fix. I was expecting to only get redone the nails i was unhappy with but they took the time to redo my whole refill on all the nails as if it was my first time going back and loved my nails again! They did not charge me at all for redoing my whole refill again. Also, had to take my daughter who is almost 3 and the staff was very kind and welcoming, they let her play with one of the ladies daughter while I got my nails done so she didnt have to sit still the whole time.

Take note of the fact that every negative review on Google is completely ignored by the owner. This completely verifies my experience with their TERRIBLE customer service! I had a "bio gel" manicure that I was upselled by the owner. Was told it would last 2 weeks. Didn't even make it to 5 days before one nail completely chipped off and all of the edges began peeling up. When I went back to have the chipped nail repaired, I got nothing but attitude. Felt very unwelcome. Not the best way to treat a new customer. There are MANY other salons to chose from, this place will not be getting another dime from me!

Just moved to Kitchener from Montreal. Didn't know any place to go do my nails so I googled one nearest me and this place popped up. I made an appointment. When I got there the place was really nice and clean. Very relaxing environment with soft music in the background. I was greeted with friendly faces and smiles. Kate was the one who did my nails. She was very attentive and ask me every now and then if it was to my liking. She did a great job with my nails. I went on and did my eyebrows. She did a quick clean up as that is what I had requested, which was ok. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. I will definitely go again.

She was seated at a table but was not taken care of. I wait another 5 minutes. All of the nail technicians were still working with other clients. I left. I found this salon on a whim and read numerous 5 star reviews. After looking at the reviews and their Instagram page I decided to give them a try. I can 100% say that this is my go to nail salon from now on! Kate did such an amazing job with my nails, I was blown away. She was so knowledgeable and was able to offer me something other the typical bio gel nails. The salon was extremely clean and all Covid-19 protocols were followed to the fullest. They even give you your own nail tools to take home! I am so happy I found this place and will be returning for all my nail needs in the future!

I picked this place because of their good reviews; unfortunately, I didn't have as good of an experience as I was hoping for. In the end my nails looked okay, but their staff's communication definitely needs work. My experience: I have never had my nails done before, and I was very excited because I'm traveling to a wedding abroad and I wanted to impress. We (my mom and I) made appointments together. Upon arrival, the nail technicians didn't introduce themselves or explain the process and our options - they just gestured to our hands and immediately started grinding away. I said multiple times that I've never had my nails done and that I needed some info and suggestions. I decided that I wanted bio gel but was told my nail beds were too short and that solar gel would be better - okay, that's fine. I said multiple times (at least 6 times) that I wanted a design (I even had pictures of examples of nails I liked) but she just kept asking me what colour I wanted. Well I got the colour I wanted, but I never got a design, and nor did my mom. We sat and gestured to the tv screen display several times with "Oh, I like that design" but they just kept speaking in their own language and not listening to us. My mom said "ow" several times when her technician was grinding her nails, but he didn't seem phased at all. We were both severely underwhelmed by the care and service. Unfortunately I wouldn't return to this salon unless I got technicians who actually listened to what I wanted. Also, as shown in the attached photos, my nails weren't even. Pictured are both of my thumb nails and both of my middle finger nails, side by side.

Best in Kitchener! Went to get my wedding nails done by Kate and it turns out relly good. The place is cozy and i watch them change each and every towel plus lining for the pedicure tub after each customer. They also used disposable kits for your pedicure which u can take home too. I have been looking for a new place to get my nails done for a long time. I have high expectations for customer service and cleanliness but hate paying $$$$$$$$ for this service. Huron Nails Salon has exceeded my expectations for customer service and price and I am really impressed with their dedication to keeping the spa clean (including "shower caps" in the tubs, fresh tools and one time use tools). I also love that there is free WIFI and a rewards program that allowed me 10% off of my services for my birthday! I highly recommend this salon

Omg where do I even begin with this terrible nail salon. First off they are EXTREMELY rude. The guy that did my nails didn’t say anything to me the whole time. I had to wait at least 15 minutes until he actually sat down and did my nails. He did a HORRIBLE job on my acrylics he made them SO thick and they looked disgusting at the end. I asked for coffin nails and I got a really weird stiletto shape. I wanted longer nails so the lady said that I would have to pay more. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A SALON THAT CHARGES FOR LENGTH.These people are very cheap. When I got up to wash my hands I accidentally pressed the washroom button and the guy rudely rolled his eyes at me and directed me towards the sink. When I was done my nails the lady at the salon asked me to nominate their store and asked me to give them a good review, which I think that is SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Anyways I really don’t know why this store hasn’t been shut down yet. My friend also went here and had the same experience. It was not worth the $50 I spent on my nails. Please don’t support these people it’s a waste of money. They’re much better salons than this one. The people at this salon need to learn how to treat their customers and actually learn how to do acrylic nails. These people don’t know how to properly communicate with their customers.

I just moved from Toronto to Kitchener and I am sure most ladies can relate to being stressed to have to find a new salon. Well needless to say I will be returning! The atmosphere is very clean and spacious. The first thing I notice when going to a salon is the hygiene practices. I was extremely impressed with the covers they use to protect the tub for pedicures and they give you the one time use tools at the end. I don't mind paying a little more for the peace of mind. The pedicure itself was amazing and they did such a nice job with the shellac and paid attention to detail. I then needed my eyebrows shaped and was extremely nervous to try someone new with my wedding only a month away. But WOW!!! Kate did an amazing job! I have already booked my shellac manicure and pedicure for my wedding and I look forward to returning!!!
