We stayed at Sir Sam's Inn for 2 nights during the Red Wine and Wild Game Weekend and booked the Romance package. We were not disappointed! A beautiful property on the snowy lake, we enjoyed the tranquility of the adults-only resort. Our weekend involved delicious, and very filling meals at the restaurant (breakfast and dinner - lunch not even needed!), a skeet shooting lesson outside over the lake, spa treatments, and use of the spa's pool and sauna. Our room in the Northwoods building looked out over the lake and had a great spa tub and real wood-burning fireplace! Overall a wonderful weekend to spend time relaxing and the owners and staff there made it even more special! Thank you Janet and Ryan!

An awesome place to rejuvenate and bring yourself back into balance. The nature there is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was great loved everything we had and the staff work hard to ensure you have a pleasing meal. The rooms are rustic, no air conditioning in the summer so check for a cooler room when you book. They have wood fireplaces in every room which is a really nice feature in the winter. We did have a couple of issues, but once I spoke to the Manager they were quickly addressed. We will definitely return.
