The spa is beautiful with an amazing view, the atmosphere was extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming! Betty is an amazing esthetician and made me feel completely at ease. I will definitely be returning and can't recommend enough!

My friend gave me a gift certificate and I’ve used it mostly for the steam room (which is amazing!), but this review is for Megan (the RMT) and Steven (the hairstylist) - Megan was fantastic, so courteous, attentive, gave a wonderful massage (many a knot in my shoulders were undone) and I never felt awkward or anything. Today I got a haircut with Steven and I’m not lying this is the prettiest my hair has ever been!! It looks like the pictures I showed him and he was so knowledgable and helpful when it came to styling tips. Thank you - I feel like a million bucks!

Amazingly lit studio with brick walls and a beautifully designed use of the space. The staff is professional, welcoming, nice, kind, smiling. They make you feel at home. The best hair stylist in Kingston works there, too! :) Shoutout to Steve McKellar (ig @createdbysteve). I love The Refinery!

I continue to be amazed every time I visit The Refinery Spa and Social House. Lesley and Heidi have created a warm and relaxing space. Adding to its charm is the spectacular views of Kingston's City Hall and Market Square from any spot in the spa. As you enter their space you are immediately welcomed by the aroma of their unique mist of essential oils and their amazingly friendly front desk staff, Jen or Drew! Every time I walk in I am overwhelmed with how beautiful it is inside and you immediately begin to feel relaxed. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I have nothing but amazing things to say about all of the services I’ve received (manicure, waxing, spray tan, eucalyptus steam room). They definitely go above and beyond to make you feel pampered. I also recently organized a bachelorette party here for 7 of us. They provided us with luxurious robes and champagne and completely pampered the bride. It was extremely easy to work with the spa to accommodate all that we had hoped for this event. The girls and I utilized the amazing eucalyptus steam room and then received manicures or pedicures. I would definitely recommend them for any of your events. Overall I have been completely satisfied with any of the services I've received and highly recommend that you check out this amazing spot these two ladies have created. I will definitely be back!

I can't recommend the Refinery enough. If I could give them ten stars I would. The owners are both fantastic, the customer service goes beyond expectations, the environment is so relaxing and you always feel welcome. From the moment you step inside you are surrounded by amazing smells and a beautifully designed space. The products they use are all really nice and the aromatherapy you get just by being there is incredible. They are very fast to respond if you have a problem and they will go above and beyond to resolve it and make your experience a good one. I will continue to come back again and again.

Stunning decor, fabulously decadent treatments and a welcoming ambience ensure your experience at the refinery will be worth every penny! 5 stars all the way. You won't want to leave. A definite MUST if you are looking for a proper massage or spa treatment in the greater Kingston area. Staff is incredible and always friendly. Take the girls and enjoy some Wine with your treatment. They have a full liquor license so its perfect if you have a group like a bridal shower or birthday. Who wouldn't want to enjoy a glass of wine with their mani/pedi?! :-)

I was recently at The refinery for a long haircut by the very lovely Steven. I have had some very horrible and racially microagressive experience at my last salon so I was very scared walking in. But the front desk as well as Steven were super sweet and kind. My hair dresses listened to what I am looking for and then briefed me on the course of action. I was asked for whether I am ok with how it's coming along or not. I loved my hair cut!!! They had maintained a very clean facility with proper distancing and measures. Can't wait to be back for a spa treatment!

Every visit has been wonderful! The staff are all first rate! A beautiful welcoming space with friendly people! Steve is an excellent stylist that took the time to give me the results I wanted! Heidi has magic hands and her facials are an experience you don't want to miss! Jen is a superior yoga coach that infuses peace and health. I had never taken a yoga class before and in my first class I felt relaxed and rejuvenated! A massage with Ange is both relaxing and therapeutic! Ladies, do yourself a favor and make the appointment!!! You will not regret it!!! My massage from the UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING Angela Vernelli was more relaxing than I could have asked for! Her 10+ years of experience as a RMT is delivered in every appointment with her quality, consistancy and professionalism!! I also recieved the BEST facial by the FABULOUS Heidi Smith!!! The products used are AMAZING and leave you feeling wonderful! The knowledge and experience given by Heidi in each appointment will have you booking your next treatment before you leave the spa!!! Looking for a sweet little get away in town? Thisnis the place to go. The decor is beautiful and location is ideal with a great view and close to some amazing restaurants. The staff are super friendly. Loved my mani and the eucalyptus steam room!

This spa is so tastefully designed with the utmost attention to the finer details. The Refinery has well trained, friendly staff who know their craft and who are passionate about ensuring their clients get the royal treatment. Loved the steam room and appreciated the fact that I could shower on site after my treatments. Enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee overlooking the market square through the massive arched windows. 5 stars for sure! I will be back.
