Samatva Yoga is an incredible studio with knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers. I always feel welcomed into the studio by both staff and fellow yogis. Since joining the studio about five months ago, I have learned an incredible amount about the philosophy of yoga that I now carry out of the studio with me in my daily life. Overall, Samatva is an inclusive and non-judgemental environment that offers a variety of different styles and classes for everyone. I truly look forward to attending the studio to improve my physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Loved the studio and the instructors, however communication about payments was not the best ... called to cancel a membership and ended up paying an extra month, and also paid in-person for a missed class and was still double charged on my card, even after telling multiple instructors about it in-person and over email, so I would be careful about providing your credit card

Great classes However came here for two early morning classes in a row and there were no instructors even though the class was on the schedule. I travel frequently and go to many yoga studios. I’ve never had another situation where a yoga instructor does not show up. Would not be posting this negative review if this happened once but this is my second morning in a row of this happening.

I was in Kingston for work and had some time for yoga:) This studio was easy to find online and with the app it was easy to sign up and pay. The hot detox class was great! Consistent flow was a good challenge with some more meditative poses to unwind.

The atomsphere is very zen and calming. The staff are very knowledgable (in regards to classes, schedules and memberships) There is such a variety of classes to choose from, I never regret going!

I was lucky enough to grab a last minute spot in the downtown location's Restorative Workshop with Mahaya. I didn't realize just how lucky until I spent 2.5 hours (for a very reasonable price) in a beautiful studio space being treated to reiki, massage, yin yoga, and sound therapy. I felt so completely relaxed and transformed that I found myself wiping away tears! Thank you for creating such a wonderful safe space for people to reconnect with themselves.

Alex is the best yoga instructor I have ever taken class from. She is so kind and really pushes you. If I am ever in Kingston again Id be tempted to drop in and take a class.

This studio is like my home away from home. The space is peaceful and clean. Aside from many different yoga styles and times to choose from, I go here for the sense of community. Everyone is friendly and makes an effort to make me feel welcome. The atmosphere in this studio is positive and infectious. I recommend everyone stop by and see for yourself.

Is there going to be any air in that front room for those of us that don't want to do hot yoga on Monday night at 5:30? the room was soo hot last week I thought I would be sick to my stomach! there is no circulation and it was stifling! Too hot for me and many others!

I loved taking classes here. The instructors were great. The downsides of this place is size and lack of shower facilities. Felt crammed a lot of the time and would get to sweaty to do anything before work without a shower.

As a student, the infinity membership is great if you have a relatively low budget. I started off with the 30 day intro package and fell in love! As long as you practice 4+ times in a month, you get your money's worth. The option to do both hot and regular temperature yoga is great because it allows me to choose what I want to get out of my practice. The schedule offered at both locations also makes choosing the right class for me very easy. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone wanting to practice yoga!

Loving my 1 year infinity membership! Unlimited yoga for the year, both hot and room temp classes. There are lots of options as well for classes at different times so it's easier to fit a daily practice into my schedule! I'm currently doing the 30 day challenge and loving it.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this studio. While some of the yoga teachers are decent, others seem very inexperienced and are unprofessional. When I reached out to the company regarding my negative experiences I received very little support but to suggest I end my membership and pay a large fee.

I apologize for the long post ahead. This is a very recent experience. When I first signed up for Samatva we weren’t in lock down. I enjoyed my in person classes, and wasn’t too upset with the price I paid. Then lock down has hit, unfortunately I’m out of work. So of course I do not want to be paying $74 for only live stream access, so I believed I terminated my contract. I originally thought maybe they would change the prices because were in lockdown, but they didn’t. I was thinking to pause my account because, we are in lockdown and I didn’t want to pay $74 for live stream. But to do that you have to pay an additional $25. So whatever, I terminated it. So I thought. My payment still came out, so I called just to get everything sorted out, get my refund (because I don’t want to access these services) and move on. Jamie said the system wouldn’t let her do that. Can the owner not find a way for the system to let a customer get a refund for services they won’t be using? It’s only 2days after the payment date, and I originally thought I cancelled it well before the date. I’ve heard of some people saying that Samatva will take your money, and not really care about their customers, but I didn’t believe it. It’s COVID, another lockdown, and people don’t have money to spend on unnecessary services. I just wanted my refund, and I would have been back after the lock down. I surely will not be back. It really seems like she is scamming money from her customers.

I've been practicing at Samatva for a little over a year now. It's a great studio to join as an infinity member (unlimited yoga each month) as it has 2 locations and an extremely full class schedule. They always have more physically demanding classes like Ashtanga and also more restorative classes as well. Since they have 2 studios per location that run classes simultaneously, you can always pick an option that works for you. Samatva also has a great community feel and I feel welcomed every time I go to class!

I am thoroughly enjoying my membership at this yoga studio! There are so many options of classes in terms of styles of yoga and times. It's so simple to find a class that meets my needs and schedule. Also enjoy that there is mat storage available so that I don't have to lug my mat to every class especially in the winter months. Definitely recommend everyone to try it out.

Got posted to Kingston last June. I have been going to this studio almost every day for the last year! It is conveniently located near the Cataraqui mall (West End studio) and has plenty of parking spots. I love the schedule, they offer both hot and room temperature yoga, plus they teach many different style and you can use both studio with the infinity membership (downtown and west end). At like 60$ per month for unlimited yoga, you just can't beat that!!!!

As some others have stated, and I have also heard around the city, the owner of this company does not care about the quality of service she provides to her customers. There was a flaw on the systems end, and we wanted a refund as we didn't want to use the services this company provides, and she refused. The teachers here are phenomenal, but the owner is unprofessional, and rude. I do not recommend Samatva yoga.
