I got a pedicure for my friends Graduation in June. When the lady was working on my left foot I told her she was really hurting my big toe when she was clipping the sides. I started to bleed and she kept going. The next day my toe swelled up 180 around my nail and has now been swollen and infected for over a month. I been to the doctor's twice and have been 2 sets of antibiotics with no improvement. Will not be going back.

Called in advance to check availablility for 2 luxury pedicures and 2 hour massages they said they had availability to come an hour after calling. When we arrived we were sat for our pedicures and after they started out service asked about the massage we had called and scheduled and said there is only one massage girl and she wasn't there today.. Then she said that massage was in the pedicure and to make sure we were getting the correct pedicure I said this is the one with the mask correct? She didn't know what I was talking about.. I had to pull up on the website and show her what I was talking about and then another woman had to come over and explain it to her. During the pedicure j couldn't relax as I was too busy looking for somewhere else to try to get a couples massage and by this time there were no openings anywhere else had we known we wouldn't be getting the services we inquired about we wouldn't have gone here. There was no massage whatsoever on our feet in the pedicure and there was an extra charge to take of old polish.. On top of that the prices on the wall are different than the website and the brochure and when that was asked about they said because we wanted the mask and that was extra yet included in the pedicure on top of them not knowing how or what to do with it. We visit yearly and will not be coming here again!

Love this place, go here all the time. They offer dip and most places don't. However I would not recommend Jennifer, she rushes through and left me with little cuts from buffing the skin around my nails and also had some type of bacteria infection that took two weeks to be fully healed.

Not impressed and NOT relaxing. Update: Lily did a great job fixing my nails and didn't charge. If I could request her everytime I'd go back.

This evening was my first time at Lily's nail salon. The place runs like a machine. My bio gel fill was done by Tammy. Overall I'm quite happy with the job she did. She did miss a spot painting along the side of my one nail. (See pic) Luckily it's not very noticeable with the colour I picked or it would bother me more. If my nails hold up as long as my bio gel usually does, I will be a return customer. Price was a little high. I'm used to the shellac being included in the price of the service, not ten dollars more. My boyfriend had a pedicure as well and was satisfied with his service.

Went with a group of friends before a wedding, and while the service was quick, my fingertips are mangled. The lady who did my nails was very ah, aggressive in trimming my cuticles, cutting out a chunk of my index finger, and shredding the skin around the nails on my other fingers. I would not go back, nor recommend Lily Nails.

Favourite place in Kingston to get my nails done, they listen, great customer service. Will fix your nail for free within two weeks, nails are durable and last longer than any nail places I’ve gone to in Ontario and the east coast. I recommended highly!! They do great colours or for my self, military gal who can only do naturel they find a way to make fake look normal and beautiful!!! Again awesome and worth going to.

Come here every time for my nails and I’m never dissapointed! Always get exactly what I ask for, and often get compliments on their work. The staff are all super friendly and talkative. If you walk in it is never a long wait, I’ve never made an appointment but the service is so great I haven’t had the need to. Most of the staff were friendly. My nail artist was not the most experienced and ended up cutting me and didn’t care. Also the salon as a whole (as well as most salons in Kingston) are not providing proper dip nails but charge for it. DIP NAILS does not include Shellac polish nor uv light. It’s is strictly a powder minus the clear coats they use to help stick the powder. From start to finish it is all Dip powder even the colour. Please train properly before advertising you provide a service that is not properly done :) I had to go to Ottawa for them to fix the mess that was done to my beautiful nails... otherwise your work is lovely ????

They do an amazing job but I find quite often that I would leave with my hands bleeding. I had been going here with a friend for about a year but have recently decided to start trying other places that may not be as rough. Really my only complaint about lily's is how aggressive they are. Getting a manicure should not hurt. I should not be leaving with cuts on all of my fingers especially given they use the same nail file over and over. If I didn't get cut almost every time then I wouldn't care as much but that is a fast way to get someone else's diseases. But their attention to detail is very good. Their products are high quality and if something happens to your nails even two weeks later they are very good to fix it for you. They reeeally need to work on telling the newer girls to not be so rough!

All the ladies here are so good at what they do! They're so accommodating- they were to close at 5 and squeezed me in when I arrived at 4:45. I do not typically write negative reviews, but after going to Lily Nail & Spa for the past 3+ years bi-weekly, if not a little less often here and there, however after my experience today I will not be back and feel I need to express what I couldn’t while in the storetoday. The nail tech was rude, immediately barked where to sit before I’d even had a chance to look at the colours, and then was extremely frustrated when I hadn’t made a decision. She also kept completely stopping mid-manicure and just pull out her phone and start texting, meanwhile when I asked what she suggested for something very fun and sparkly for my colour she LITERALLY made no suggestions. Being unfriendly and disinterested is one thing, but then there’s the fact that she was so rough that she made my fingers bleed by filing so aggressively. I went in to work afterward and it actually hurt to type at my computer. She knew she was hurting me, too, as she realized when I finally winced and pulled my hand away while she was sawing through the side of my pinky with the file. Finally, my nails look awful... they are thick and uneven and filed so short that the tips of my fingers are rough from where she filed them so hard. The actual TIPS OF MY FINGERS. I certainly should have and could have spoken up, but as someone with an anxiety disorder I couldn’t bring myself to indicate any more than what I was doing. I left and cried in my car that I allowed myself to be manhandled so roughly and that I paid for the pleasure. Now looking for a new spot as I will never return after that painful, unprofessional and horrible experience.

Had my first visit here for a UV Gel refill with colour and I am amazed with the attention to detail Tammy has! She shaped them perfectly, took her time and did a double coat of everything. As mentioned in other reviews, the price is quite steep but if these nails hold up I will be back again. They have thousands of colours and designs to choose from, which is hard to find in kingston. I highly recommend this salon!! One of the best in town, for sure.

My friend made an appointment for 4 of us, i asked for a shellac manicure and was told it would be $30 when I walked in.. I then had a girl who looked like she was 16 file my nails so short I lost all the length and that was the manicure portion of my "shellac manicure" ... while all 3 of my friends got their nails done I waited 45 minutes to get the shellac put on.. Then when I went to pay it was $35 so disappointed and I feel like I've wasted my money!

She was pleasant to talk to and when I asked for her recommendation on the shape my nails should be she didn't hesitate to say square. I'm glad I listened to her because they were perfect. Second time I went I got the young gentleman I think his name is Dan and he was fantastic. Loved the way he shaped my nails and the care he took when I scuffed a few of them. He said no worries and just fixed them. I wanted purple but didn't want too light and the color he picked was perfect. Thankyou Mia and Dan for making my first 2 visits wonderful. I highly recommend Lily's nails and spa.

Have only ever had shellac manicures here. They do a great job on that. I would agree with others that the service can vary depending on who you get. I also always feel rushed picking out a colour. I was there one day when their debit/credit machines weren’t working and they were really unhelpful (kind of rude?) about it. However, I have tried other places and feel that the shellac manicure here is worth the price.

Went Here first time coming to this nail salon. Came for a pedi and fill. The girl name Jessica did mine and she hurt me! Very rough in filing! When cleaning under nails with Dremel she cut me under every nail!!! I was bleedin! When cleaning off nail with alcohol wipe it burned I pulled away and I told her and she said “oh no your fine”!!! I’ve been getting my nails done for years, and never had such a terrible experience! I will never come again!! Manager just said oh sorry!!... to much in a rush! This place was very nice the first time I visited. The girl doing my nails was absolutely wonderful! I went back a second time because of the experience I had and it was totally horrible. The woman doing my nails was extremely rude. It seemed she purposely hurt me with one of her tools, she told me “I know how to do my job, so relax” in a rude tone because I mentioned my nails were way too thin for a solar set and they were going to snap. My nails look awful. If the price wasn’t bad I wouldn’t have written this review. I went to the cash and it was $73!!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I asked why she said well we gave you a deal to take off your current nails and only charged you $10 (which I didn’t ask for) It should have been cheaper because I used my own length (they didn’t put tips on). I have no issues paying that price if my nails were fabulous. I literally had to fight back my tears I was so upset with the rudeness. People like her shouldn’t work in customer service. Don’t come here!

In general, I am happy with the services I receive here. The issue I have is that the quality of the service depends on which staff member I get. I've had a few of the girls whip through my shellac manicure in 20 minutes and do a horrible job, while others take their time and do phenomenal work! I want to give a big shout out to Kim, who does a fantastic job and is so friendly :) I will be requesting her moving forward.

Went there for the first time today and was not very impressed. The lady barked at me where to sit before I had a chance to pick a colour and seemed very annoyed when after 45 seconds I still hadn’t picked (they are arranged in such a poor format that it’s very difficult to see them). When I asked for any suggestions she didn’t really any so I had to rush to pick a colour. I picked a baby blue and I’m not sure if the colour quality wasn’t great or if she took the wrong one but the colour on my nails is not the colour I picked. The lady rushed through my manicure - was done in less than 20 minutes - and did not do a great job. On top of that she was less than friendly, she was actually quite rude. I also found it very expensive for the quality and service. I normally pay $12 less at my regular place not in Kingston. Definitely would not recommend - and won’t be going back.

Going here for years. The service just keeps getting worse. Don't bother to book an appointment as they never start your service on time. They are so greedy That the take walk-ins when they can't service the people that have made appointments ahead of time. Had a fill done and I walked out with half my fingers cut. The fill was all lumpy and the polish was way too far from cuticles. And let's not forget the fact that they demand cash without giving you a receipt.

This is really too bad. My husband & I used to come here all the time. We make an appointment as on days off it is hectic. A few years ago my husband got up, took his feet out of the water and left after waiting 45 minutes. We went elsewhere for 2 years and finally got him to come back here. 3 appointments into our return today. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures and an eyelash tint. Requested eyelash tint 4 times. 35 minute wait for my husbands pedicure and no eyelash tint. Will not return. This is a prime example of greed!

I will never go back. My daughter booked 6 of us in for mani and pedis for her wedding. Our appointment was 5 pm. One niece came early and she was sitting in foot bath then for half an hour and I am not sure what time they started her pedicure. Only 2 of us got to sit together. At 5:15, I was placed in chair and left until 6:30. The water was cold and no one even came to see if I was ok. The girl then rushed through the pedi with no leg message. I might as well have did the pedi myself. Then another girl did my french tips and this was ok as it was now after 7 pm and things had slowed down. If I had to do it over again, I would have walked out and went elsewhere. It was really a waste of 2.5 hours and over $100. I will not be back there.

I went to get my nail dipping removed. I believe Jenny was the one removing the nails. She didn’t talk to me at all. Which is fine but a hi would be nice. She seemed impatient and rushed. When I get home turns out not all of the acrylic was removed. I still have a hard layer on top of all my nails. Wish I didn’t give a tip for it not being done well.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I have had A LOT of manicures in my life but today's at Lily's Nails was by far the BEST. They are friendly and professional and exceptionally skilled at freehand work. The salon is clean and comfortable and the people are so nice. I went into Lily’s appoximately 2 weeks ago to have a manicure and pedicure. Left happy with my service done by a male nail technician. Then I noticed discolouration under the polish as it was a French pedicure,so I could see through the sheen. I then removed the polish to see and I have a fungal infection on my big toe. Extremely disappointed I decided to go hoping to discuss the matter and have a customer service resolution. I arrived at 9:30 am ,hoping to talk to management before the rush came in. The male receptionist mentioned how can I help? I showed him my toe. He said Lily wouldn’t be in until noon. Then he said , show your toe to this technician who had just arrived to work, she said it’s ‘fungal’. He nodded to me and said, again to come back. Arrived at noon, to be lead to the back waxing room to meet Lily, to be told that it wasn’t fungal by her. I said Lily, I’m an Esthetician, she still was insistent that I hit my toe on something. I said no, i didn’t hit my toe. It’s a fungal infection from the service I had done here, because my toes were in perfect condition upon arriving. She argued with me with raising her angrily voice, stating that “you did not get that here”. Then her husband stepped in and said who did this to you? I said, I’m not here to get someone in trouble. I have fungal on my toe. He said well he’s the one responsible. I said the name, then they both stated, we call Him, if he said your toe was like that before then we know. I said I’m telling you it wasn’t , so your questioning what Im Saying?. They then told me he was the one I needed to talk to , to come back in 2 hours. Arrive at 2:30 pm, Male tech was called again to come in. He arrived. He then said what’s wrong in a rude tone. I said politely, I had my pedicure done and this is what happened. * please note there was approximate,y 8 staff and 2 customers all in the area of the foot bath where I’m seated with my sock off. Then he says, you didn’t get that here. There’s no way.Your toe was like that before, we had this problem before when I did your feet. I said no, my toe was perfectly normal. He said then if that’s true, why wouldn’t all your toes have the fungi, in a condescending tone. I said Also, you’ve never done my feet before. He didn’t argue that. He then said AGAIN, it was like that before. I said it wasn’t! I said what to I have to do , take a before and after picture before coming into your nail salon? ****He said we have it on camera, I can prove your nail was like that before I did your pedicure!!! By this time I’m extremely shaken and appalled by the unprofessional group of them staring at me, all bantering at me. I said, show me the camera!!! Lily says in an ignorant tone, well we need the date and time, .....I said it was 2 weeks ago. I need the day and time....again she says. I said it was a Wednesday at 2....cuts me off...I need the date and time. I said what difference does it make? What’s that going to show. The wife of the male tech said, we can zoom in on your toe! I said really....? Show me! The camera conversation ended quickly. (So not only do they camera their customers, they can zoom in to see your toes before and after. That must be quite the camera technology.) As all of them were standing there bantering Comments at me, I gave up trying to get any apology.it wasn’t going to happen. I stated to Lily, this is the way your going to choose to do business Lily? Your not going to be accountable for this? She snickered at me. Two clients were sitting getting their nails done forced to listen to all of this. I have worked in the service industry for over 20+ years. I have never had such distaste for ignorance from a service provider ever. No resolution, no I’m sorry....now I’m left with a nail that may fall off from this fungal infection because it can easily be lifted. Just truly disheartened by this whole experience.Not to mention how they all acted like it was a elementary school playground and I was just there ‘customer’ to torment because I expressed a service not done to proper standards. Zero stars.

My friend and I went for pedi's and she also got Mani. Pedicures werent that great. 20-25 min tops spent on feet. Massage was extremely gentle pressure. My friend actually asked for more pressure and girl rolled her eyes. My feet werent that bad but still she didnt clean the heels properly, I can feel the roughness. Other than the polish, you cant even tell that I had a pedicure.

me and my friend had went there the other night cause we arent too familliar with other nail places. my friend had a good experience with Tina. Tina had asked my friend what length she had wanted her acrylics, how much pink in the ombre nail, made conversation asking where shes gotten her nails done in the past, telling her if theres anything that doesnt look right to you let me know & she was so sweet. i was sitting right beside her, my experience with Ivy was horrible. so rude she gave me dirty looks while doing her JOB. she never once asked how long i wanted my nails she just went ahead and clearly did whatever she wanted. i was cut on my pinky and index finger and she literally said "oh i cut u" im aware. while she was putting the clear polish on she threw my hands all over the place. i had asked for coffin shaped nails and what i got was coffin shaped nails on 4 of my fingers and my thumb is almond shaped. again not what i asked for. while she was nail filing my nails she was way too rough. personally Ivy was way too rushed and i will not be there for a fill in "two weeks" time.

I wish I could give 10 stars... when your used to Toronto nail artists it’s hard to find places out of the GTA- but I found one!! Tammy is amazing! I got a full set with tips and she did a lovely nude shellac coat. They look so natural; I’m really impressed! This is my new go to nail artist!

The customer service was pretty good, I was able to get in right away to get a regular pedicure and shellac nails. My pedicure chipped within a few days which I wasn't too pleased with. However, my bigger issue is that I asked them to be very careful with one of my toe nails that was spooned. I admit I should have spoken up more during, but they were quite rough with it and now it is falling off. My mani was one of the worst I have gotten, a few of my cuticles bled, and the bottom edges were uneven and started way too far from my nail bed. It's been 6 days and I needed to take it off because there is so much out growth.

A friend recommended Lily Nails to me and I am so glad she did. I arrived without an appointment yesterday and was taken right away for a shellac polish change. I was in and out in under 20 minutes with beautiful new polish. Heather was the nail artist and she was very sweet and thorough. Also, all of the salon employees were friendly and inviting. I will definitely be back to this salon. It was a great experience.
