I started going to Laura's years ago, after asking a friend where she got her nails done. Hers always looked fantastic whereas other salons left my nails uneven or breaking/chipping way too soon. Laura, Anh and Kai take their time and that pays off in the quality they provide. My nails always look great and I get lots of compliments. My gel manicures easily last 3 weeks and by then I need to get them redone because they've grown out/too long. Gel pedicures can go even longer. With the advent of Covid-19, cleanliness is a top priority for Laura's they know the importance of keeping themselves and their clients safe.

Laura’s lovely nails is an amazing place to go to !!!! I have been going for 4 years now and even with COVID right now they do everything they can to make sure you are getting what you want and pay for. There prices are good and I wouldn’t let anyone else do my nails other than the people that work at Laura’s . I recommend it to anyone who compliments me on my nails!!!!

I usually don't do this, good or bad review. But it was my 2nd bad experience at this place. In the summer, I went there to get a pedicure done and they had some trainee students, and they made me their guinea pig and spent 2 hours to finish my pedicure even after multiple requests to fasten the process. And today, the owner of the place was free and I requested her to do a manicure. She started , and in next 2 minutes, told me that she has a stomach ache and can not do it, so she brought another trainee, who filed my skin along with nails and left me bleeding. Added to my surprise, a white client came and her stomach ache vanished and she started working on her immediately. FYI , I am brown and so was their trainee. I couldn't believe this open racist behavior. Not going there again, and certainly not recommending.

Went here twice before, once on my own to get acrylic nails and once to go with my friend to get her nails done with gel. Both times I have gone they have hurt my nails and made them bleed and they made my friends nails bleed too.

Ii have been a client for several years and am pleased with the variety of colours and styles offered. I used to have issues with growing my nails as they are weak and thin, but now they are in the best shape ever. In fact, people compliment me on my nails on a regular basis. Laura and her staff are very friendly, all about quality and customer service. You won’t be disappointed.

Went three times and was left disappointed. Today was the final straw. Took 1.5 hours to do a basic manicure. Basic coat 4 layers of colour, which did not look well done. Than a top coat. Left the salon, and due to the amount of coating it smudged right off. Had to remove all of the polish. So disappointing as the staff there are very friendly..

Myself and a friend had an appointment for Friday morning. When we arrived, there was only one worker there who was looking after another client. Around 10 minutes later another worker came in and began doing our nails. A walk in client came in, and despite there being only 2 workers and 3 clients they took her anyway. So the two of them went between the 4 of us. They raced through our nails, and when I complained that there were areas of my nails that were missed they told me it was because of my nails (??). Instead of fixing them they just filed away the parts that didn't have polish on them. I'm left with polish on my cuticles and a very uneven manicure. Very unhappy, definitely won't be back.

The worst customer service, absolutely rude worker, who was completely condesending and made me feel awful. Very impatient and short with me, other customers were actually looking at me in disbelief and awkwardness. Then she overcharged me, and I didn't even feel like arguing, I just couldn't wait to get out of there!???? So many other nice places to go in Kingston, don't waste your money. I will never step foot in there again.

I went for a biogel manicure with some shellac. Worst manicure I’ve ever received. I got it on Friday and it’s now chipping away near my cuticles (it’s Monday -3 days later). I had nail polish all over my skin around my nails. And on one of my hands the nail polish is completely see through and doesn’t even cover the whole nail width. All she said was ‘it wash off ‘. I was also left bleeding but she blamed it on dry skin? Also pretty sure I had the owner doing my nails. Needless to say.. not impressed and will never go back.
