Got a mani/pedi there. Two days later pedicure started to chip. Technician was not paying attention during pedicure and cut my toe, not apologetic, and seemed uninterested that her technique was painful. Manicure technician spent half the time texting, the other half talking on her cell phone while trying to multitask and paint the nail. Overall, an extremely untalented, unfriendly, and inattentive operation.

On several occasions I was kept waiting in my car as staff casually sauntered in 15 minutes after the advertised open time with absolutely no urgency or regard for the clients they kept waiting. Other than being frustrated with their time management and poorly managed expectations I continue to return to the salon as it has lots of space, staff are professional with services & I'm always satisfied with the end product. This place has every potential to raise the bar with offering top notch customer experience.

I’ve been there three times, once for a full set and then back again for the fill . The nails were gorgeous and they did a really great job, however the full set was like $52 I think and then when I went back for a full it was $50 again ... The third time I went back, I wanted a fresh set but I had a few nails left on that I had been picking at. They charged me $65 that time . During my first visit they did say if I ever broke a nail I could come back and have it fixed for free. Not sure that’s true but it was a nice offer Over all, it’s definetly a nice place to get a faaaabulpus manicure but it is expensive

My friend and I went for a pedicure. Very clean, well spaced for respecting Covid 19. Reasonably priced. Both ladies working were friendly and chatted with us. Very refreshing, and shows proper customer service!(????????)Others I have gone to only speak among themselves and ignore customer. I recommend this place.

I used to really enjoy going to La Sirene, but lately my nails have not turned out well. My most recent visit was just for an eye brow wax. The woman that waxed my eyebrows I had never seen working there before so I am assuming she is a new employee. When she asked me to look at my eyebrows after she was done, I was horrified. She had waxed half of one of my eyebrows off. This obviously looks ridiculous and I had only asked for my eyebrows to be cleaned up a bit. I will not be going back I am very upset with the way my eyebrows have turned out and now I will have to try and fill in the missing part of my eyebrow every day.

I went in to get one nail fixed n had worst experience ever and been getting nails done in kingston for over 20 years at different salons. I asked the lady to give my other nails quick buff n top coat to make others look like one was getting fixed n was so over charged it was pathic ..... n a lady after me that was also getting two nails fixed was done before me ???? ....15 dollars was charged n other places to do same thing be lucky if it was 10 dollars ????my man paid before I was done N when he told me how much she had charged me went back into store n told lady that was redickulous price n other salons never charged more then 10 dollars told me that's what they charge .. It's not a wonder that a big place like that was empty n had very few walking while I was there ...I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family ...very over price for awful service n very rude to customers when unhappy with what they charge considering I've had done many times at other salons !!! I'm a very unhappy customer n would never go back there EVER!!!

The staff are very nice, however, my nails turned out very poorly. I came in with a specific design in mind but because I have very short nails he suggested doing something else, which was totally fine because I wanted to get the best nails possible. I got plain gel polish and one nail with a design, the nail with the design was done very poorly (for something that I didn't even want). I've gotten my nails done here before and they were done very well for literally 25$. Today I was charged 40$ 45$ with tax, for something that I didn't even enter wanting. I just don't understand why the price was so much? I could have gotten a full set of acrylic nails for the same price!

When i moved to kingston i searched for MONTHS to find my “new place” to get my nails done. a place that never made me feel uncomfortable, wasn’t too expensive and always did my nails the way i imagined them in my head. any one who gets their nails done will know that this is not an easy task. i finally found Le Siren Nail Salon and have been going there since. i have had a few different techs and they are all lovely. in the mood to chat? no worries the ladies and gents here love to hear about your life and tell you about theirs! just there to get your nails done and listen to your music? fear not! you will only be interrupted to ensure the nails are what you like. i would highly recommend this place as your new spot!:)

I was really excited to go here because of the reviews I saw on this nail salon and I went in with a booked appointment for a gel set.. they started giving me an acrylic set and when I brought it up to the woman who was doing my nails she told me "she wasn't finished yet, she knows what she's doing and to let her do her job" and continued doing what she was doing. They were beyond pushy about getting the shellac nail polish where it ended up being awkward because I didn't get shellac, the shape of them aren't great either. I paid for an acrylic set while the woman insisted she gave me gel, and 6 days later my nail polish was chipping off also one of the acrylic tips popped off. I went in and explained what happened, they were also very rude to me then but replaced the nail. Nonetheless I will never go back.

Recently had a manicure done here and I absolutely love the “cat eye” effect on my nails. The place is clean, employees are helpful, pricing is affordable and they offer many services including waxing. On top of that they comply with covid regulations so you’d have to get your temperature checked and wash your hands before sitting down. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely come back in a few weeks!

Gone to 2 separate locations for 1 lady to do my eyelashes; had taken time off work, had the appointments booked. But when I went in to either location I was told she wasn't there. If you are aware the artist will not be in call your clients who have booked an appointment so they don't waste their time.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Average price for a pedicure but I’ve had paint on one nail peal off completely clean after 3 days. Nail must not have been prepped correctly. When I first went to sit down the towel at my station was already soaking wet. When I asked for a new towel she tried to just flip it over and tell me it was wet from the washing machine. Also while I’m getting my toes painted another staff member takes out the tub liner from under me and tries to clean the tub. Would not recommend anyone gets their pedicure here. Complete waste of $40. Very disappointed.

I wasn’t excluded from conversation through a language barrier, I actually received what I asked for and (and paid for), and didn’t get my cuticles cut! I will be using this place exclusively from now on! I strongly recommend it! They earned each and every one of these stars. My manicure even came with a hand massage!

I am new in kingston so i am in the hunt for a good nail salon. This was the first nail salon i tried. The place is nice and clean and the colour options are a lot. I did a shellac mani and regular pedi, the pedi was not bad but the shellac mani started peeling after 2-3 days after i got it done and after just 1 week all of the shellac nail polish came off. The lady who did my nails was nice and did a good job with cleaning and polishing, my complaint is the quality of shellac polish.

Extremely unprofessional staff. I've been here multiple times for shellac manicures and had very unpleasant experiences. The staff appear unexperienced and have broken my friend's and mine's nails multiple times as well as cutting the nails at uneven lengths and complaining when asking for a different colour or nail shape. Both of my visits here left me feeling uncomfortable and unsatisfied.

As others have already mentioned, the location is lovely -- soft lighting, comfortable chairs, marble -- but it's the staff and the extras (along with the prices) that really make La Sirene Nails a standout. The technicians are skilled, cordial and thoughtful. The hostess is a darling and has great suggestions on nail colors and techniques. Add to that the unbelievable variety of colors, consistent availability of new colors and trends, and a great price point, and you've got yourself a winner!
