An incredibly clean and friendly salon! I’d always gone to the West End to get my nails done, not realizing this salon was right downtown, just a 5 minute walk from my house. I certainly won’t go anywhere else but here from now on! My nails (acrylics) look amazing.

I originally went to another nail salon rated five stars about an hour and a half before closing and asked if they could do acrylic nails (I understand the short notice but based on many circumstances I had no other options). The lady just rudely said no and said she was done for the day. So I made my way to Cleopatra nails and, although they closed at the same time as the other place, they welcomed me in. The lady who did my nails was very personable, professional, and did a thorough job that has lasted over two weeks now and I couldn't be more happy.

I brought in a photo of my sisters gel nails that I wanted to have done. The male owner was dismissive and tried to talk me into getting somthing that’s easier to do (what I wanted to have done involved two colours) when I told him I’d like to have what was done in the photo he did not respond and was very rough with my hands when taking off my nail polish. He then made a comment saying “this is going to cost more that’s for sure” at that point I had enough and left. I went to angel nails which is only a couple of blocks away on princess street and they did exactly what I wanted no questions asked. Will never be going back to this nail place again!

Amazing nail salon! Employees are always incredibly nice, personable and professional and the work they do is fantastic. I've been getting my acrylics done there for months now and have constantly had good results. They even offered to get me a specific nail polish colour I wanted the next time they went to go pick up stock - such a good salon and would highly recommend.

I was in Kingston for a quick visit to see my kids at Queens' university, and I needed my UV gel nails filled. The couple that ran this salon were busy that Saturday and Itook their only open time slot. It was probably the most efficient gel nail service I have ever had, and very professionally done. They were careful with their good-quality buffers and files, and rinsed them and set them out to dry after they were finished with me. The place was clean and neat and not pretentious. I wouldn't worry too much about the negative review Cleopatra Nails received........ some folks should just keep going to their fancy spa back home. :-)

Cleopatra's has been my go to for the past 3 years. The lovely couple who run this nail salon are professional, efficient, kind and excellent at their craft. They clean all the tools properly, with an autoclave, which is why I have chosen them time after time. Love this business!

I wish it was possible to leave this salon a negative 10 stars. You would think a nail salon thats been open for this long (don't know how) would know how to ya know.. PAINT NAILS?? I don't think its very hard to paint clean well groomed nails with a single colour but yet I am amazed at how awful they look and feel. Miss Lady who did my nails was so incredibly rude and wouldn't let me see my nails once, keeping my hand under the LED lamp until they burned?? Also yelled at me for taking them out and kept slapping my hands down when I would look at my ugly nails, Miss Lady also made my nails bleed by buffing too hard, and proceeded to tell me it was my fault. Miss Lady also does not know how to paint nails because I think a toddler could have done a much better job. Unless you're blind!! then this could be the salon for you. Rating this salon one star is way over deserved.

Cleopatras Nails is definitely the best nail salon in Kingston. The service is personal, professional and very consistent. I am always so happy with how my nails turn out and enjoy the company of the lovely couple who own the salon. They are hard working, friendly and talented at their craft! I never go anywhere else.

That’s the worst service the worst nails work , she put shellac on my nails and the day after the shellac disappears the color is removed from the nails , you need to change your sheap product because is not normal that the color stay 1 day in the nails , the price is not worth it and when I asked for my money back he hang up the phone on me . NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALLLLLLL NEVER AGAIN .

i would come once a month to get an acrylic refill or new set with shellac! Loved the husband and wife that run the place. they always make you feel comfortable and they are not only great at what they do, but also quick! i knew i wouldn’t spend my whole day here, great for busy students and people in general!!! such reasonable prices and i don’t think i’ll find a better nail salon ????

Im curious how this place is ranking at a 4.3. I came from out of town picked the closest salon. I sat down and described how I like them to be done (as we all do) the male worker literally dropped my hand and told me to get out. NOT KIDDING! I cannot comment on the quality of their product, however their customer service is absolutely atrocious! I went to the next nearest salon and 3wks in, my nails havent lifted, cracked or broke. Its worth the 5min walk down the street.
